Amazing pizza and the owners / Manager Todd have always been spot on with friendly service !

I tried to have lunch here today and ordered the 2 slice lunch special for dine-in. Unfortunately it took 20 minutes to get my lunch and I then had to ask for a to go box as my lunch was over and I did not have time to eat. If you are going to offer lunch specials you need to be able to serve them quickly, not take 20 minutes to serve people. Once I did get a chance to eat, the pizza is just average, not bad, but certainly nothing special. As this is not the first time I have had incredibly slow service here I see no reason to ever return. With the amount of restaurants available in this region I will choose to spend my money at a place with good service, which is most of what I am paying for at a restaurant. read more

Excellent value for your dollar! I had an order delivered last night and I was truly impressed. The order was delivered very quickly. The order was exactly as I requested. I consider myself a fan of pizza and I found this mediocre. The crust wasn't crisp nor was it really fluffy, it had an in-between feel that felt lacking. I found the wings acceptable but not special. If you're looking for late night food, this place is fine. If you're looking for something special this isn't the place. read more

I have eaten in Edies, and I have takeout from Edies and I have to say I've always been happy with the food. What I like the most about this place is whatever you get it's consistently the same. I have ordered from other places. Sometimes the food order is good. Sometimes you wonder who the cook is but at Edie's I have never been dissatisfied with whatever I ordered from there,whether it be eating in or taking out. We usually order from Picasso's or Blasdell Pizza. We decided to try somewhere new today- this place isnt far away- and they had a great deal for large pizza, double fingers, and pop combo for somewhere around $39. That price seems significantly cheaper than other places. When we called, the order taker had no idea which combo I was referring to. It was so frustrating, I almost hung up. I kept saying the large pizza and double finger combo and he was clueless. It sounded as if he just rolled out of bed- and kept saying 30 fingers ? I'm like, what ?? I had to tell him to please look at the menu because it was on there. After 10 minutes he finally found it. Anyhow, onto the food. Pizza is average. The sauce is the part I didnt care for. It seems to taste too strong with Oregano for my taste. Fries came with the combo too. They were good. The real disappointment was the fingers. I have no idea why- but they were a pile of mush. I have a picture I'm adding. Literally mush. I wish I had taken a pic of the finger on the top of the pile. It didnt even look like a finger ! WHY would anyone even put these into the box ??? They had to be a pile of mush BEFORE putting them in the box. No way they turned mushy and all the breading slid off while driving home. Check out my picture. I honestly have never seen anything like this before. I read one of the previous reviews - and someone commented on the wings being mushy. I believe it after seeing this mess! They still tasted ok , but some of them were missing the breading on half. I dont even know how to count them to equal a "double" order. Some fingers fell apart and were in half. Anyways, I guess you get what you pay for. Picassos is definitely more expensive, but the quality of products they put out is top notch. I wasnt even going to review this place, but the fact they put these fingers in the box like this- I felt I had to. I was just not a happy customer. I ordered a mini sub lunch special over the phone, and was told my order came to $12.17. When I went to pick it up, not only was the kid working the register extremely ignorant, but the price went up to over $15...for a lunch special!! When I asked the reason for the increase, he was unable to provide any explanation. I was only able to eat half of my expensive lunch as I got extremely sick from eating it. The fries tasted like the grease hasn't been changed in months. Pretty sure I got food poisoning, as it's a day later and I'm still sick. Definitely not wasting my money at this establishment ever again!! Only rating 1 star because I have to, otherwise I'd give it zero stars. read more

I ordered from Edie's a few months ago and when I picked my pizza up the toppings were wrong. I was told by the girl at the counter that she could sell me that pizza or bake another one at my cost. I reluctantly took the pizza with the wrong toppings. Last night I decided to give them another try and ordered a large pizza and a double order of wings. The crust was burned and totally inedible. I was able to eat 1/2 of a piece and that was it. This place is very inconsistent and I won't try them a third time. read more

Not my favorite pizzeria in Hamburg but I thought I'd give it another shot because they did have cauliflower crust. You could only order it in a small size which was fine with me. I got a small cheese cauliflower crust, a bambino cheese pizza and also a single order of wings medium. Both of the pizzas turned out fine. I enjoyed the cauliflower crust. It had some seasoning in it that was excellent and I would order again. Unfortunately the chicken wings were very dry and did not have any sauce on them. I would've given it four stars but since it was only lunchtime they were not busy at all so I don't know how they would mess up such a small order. If you are going to order here I would stick to the pizza and I would definitely recommend the cauliflower crust. read more

I'm updating my review and deducting a star because of the extremely poor customer service. We order from Edies regularly, and we almost never complain, even when we should. Received a cold pizza and chicken fingers today, called and politely spoke to a manager, who had a major attitude problem. She claimed that the food was taken from the oven to us directly, but it took over an hour and was cold. We had to press to get a replacement. She even acknowledged that we order frequently, but didn't seem to care. Pathetic. The food prices and delivery costs are way too high for them to treat their customers poorly. Sorry to be a total Karen on this post. My sister and I ordered a turkey sub and a chef salad at 3pm for delivery. We paid over the phone making sure to include a tip and give the address, obviously. They didn't have an ETA except for we'll deliver it ASAP. Finally at about 4:45 I decided to call to see if it was on the way. Didn't want to be rude but felt like there had been some kind of mix up. Even though we gave them our address and credit card info on the phone. When I called they gave me to 3 different people, an indication I already knew our food had been sitting there for 2 hours. Finally somebody came on and said that exact thing. A salad and cold sub had been sitting there for over an hour and a half waiting for pickup. I told them I wanted it canceled as we asked for delivery and the woman on the phone said, we'll cancel the payment and hung up. Safe to say I'm good on Edies for a while. Not entirely sure why they let food sit that long and didn't think to call us but we didn't call them sooner because we didn't want to seem rude. I only usually leave good reviews for businesses but this really frustrated the both of us. Keeping an eye on our card now to make sure it was refunded. Not sure if the person on the phone was new or not but going forward I think they should be watching the times on their pick up orders to make sure people are on the way. There was a piece of elastic plastic embedded in my pizza. I didn't realize it until I bit into it, and it snapped back into my pizza. That put me off eating in a hurry. Our wings were so saturated with grease that it leaked through the box, and out onto the car seat. Definitely NOT CRISPY, and they were just freshly made when we picked up our order. With such a large kitchen staff, you'd think they would be able to focus on putting out quality food. I really used to like Edie's pizza, not anymore. read more

Oh, you'll feel like a school boy again... A school boy that desperately wants to have a sweet, sweet pizza party, like a last day of the school year pizza party. And in all seriousness, Edie's bakes a beautiful pizza. The crust is a wonderful golden brown and the cheese is thick but not too greasy. My love affair with Edie's pizza doesn't end there as it tastes great too. My one complaint I have is I wish Edie's would bake its pizza a little longer so that it would be a bit more well-done. The crust could use a little more crispiness and it's always nice when the sauce caramelizes on the crust, and from my experience Edie's doesn't cook its pizza long enough for that to happen. There is a plaque hangin on the wall saying that Edie's has been voted "Best Pizza in Hamburg" a few times. I would put it up one further and say its ready for the big leagues and be in consideration for the best pizza in Western New York. read more

I sent my 12yo in to get me a bottle of diet Pepsi, where she was charged the 2 liter price for a 20oz. I went back to get the correct change where the clerk couldn't figure out $5.00 - $1.35. He brought me $0.35... Um, try again. Upon receipt of correct change, the young man said "maybe you shouldn't drink diet you fat f**k". A phone call to the owner, and speaking to them- I was called a liar. That they don't believe their employees would do that. I was a repeat customer for over 15 years. All I wanted as an apology. Best white pizza around! Their pizza crust is excellent, they do not overdo the cheese or toppings, they are just right! Not greasy either. Customer service depends on the day, but usually efficient. Prices are in line with other places in the area with comparable product. read more

For a few years I have been ordering from and eating at Edies, although the service has been poor, the quality of food has always been quite good. It is easy to see how Edies receives a good volume of patrons, especially with the newly designed seating area, the small pizza place on the corner is now a landmark of the circle. It was not until recently that I have noticed a drop in quality of pizza, oh my, and am I a guy whole loves his pizza. From the rude girls answering the phone, to the greasy slices of cheese they have been boxing up and shipping out, it is hard to remember the place that I once enjoyed so much. Edies is not nearly as great as it was a couple of years ago, and if you order a pizza, be ready to be attacked by the teenie bopper guarding the phones, if you actually convey what you want on it, remember to tell them where it is going... We walked in on a Sunday night to order a few slices, and we were glad they were open til 11pm. Service was fast and friendly. Parking was ample and the inside was clean. Open late and the pizza is great! Based on a recommendation from a family member, we ordered take-out from Edie's during an overnight stop on vacation - great suggestion. Edie's was one of the few places open until midnight on a Friday night and we were glad. The large pizza was more than enough for the three of us - pepperoni and extra cheese - yum! Order extra cheese, it is delicious. Slices are available, too, but we ordered so late that slices were not available for us. Delivery stopped at 10pm that night, so we drove over to pick up our order; the restaurant is convenient to I-90 in Hamburg, near a lot of hotels. Two liter and 20 oz. sodas are available for take-out, too. The person who took our order via phone was super nice and helpful but the person who provided us the order was not nearly so pleasant and then implied we should tip for our pick-up order - nope. My boys love their pizza night, we have ordered from several places while we have lived in buffalo. I really like the crust of the pizza here pepperoni is really spicy but still really good.
