I got the cheese jalapeno and bacon bagel with cream cheese on it and it was amazing. I totally did not know what I was missing. They have a wide array of bagels and types of sandwiches you can get all made with bagels. They also have coffee and tea selections. I also got a churro bagel/donut... and it was really tasty however I loved the bagel. Now I just have to time my visits right. I usually get there too late and they are closed. Did I mention they also have flavored cream cheese. I also want to try the lox bagel. I think they are also doing delivery but I'm not sure which platforms they are doing it through. I remember this place being really good, so I was very disappointed when I ate there recently to find out it's gone down hill as far as experience, service and overall product. I will say, the bagels are good, they aren't super doughy and have a good crunchy outside. However I ordered a bagel sandwich and the cheese wasn't melted, and the egg was cold. I got my order right as it was called and ate outside, so not sure what happened. Aside from that, the trash cans outside were over flowing with garbage on to the ground, every table was dirty and had trash on it (we had to wipe down our table ourselves). The customer service isn't outstanding, and with 6-7 people behind the counter, I was surprised the lack of awareness and response. My recommendation would be to try another bagel spot until this place can get it together. Manager or management needs to do some work at this location. Seems there is no care here. read more

I was excited to visit this store since I got a couple gift cards for Einstein Bros Bagels. My first visit was quite a disappointment to say the least. The bagels were decent and I loved the variety of their cream cheese shmears. I ordered a couple of the shmearfuls and was shocked how small they were for the price I paid. I felt deceived. Most importantly, the staff was completely unhelpful and cold. What a shame. One star goes to their french toast bagels and honey almond spread. Came here for the first time for breakfast, I'm not a huge fan of bagels but I decided to come in because my bf insisted on bagels (lucky me, I wanted Mexican) the line moved quickly, it's was a nice little place with plenty of seating... the coffee area was very nice and clean to my surprise normally places like this don't really keep up with the cleanliness. Sometimes it's a hit or miss with this place! Sometimes they forget something from your mobile order and you have to make eye contact with a worker to get someone to acknowledge you! Their app is also one of the worst apps I ever ordered from! But it's a lesser of two evils ,since waiting in a long line outside is no better! I also wish they would put your pickle in a plastic bag ,it leaks in the bag! I really hate writing this because Einstein's is my favorite, however, I am very displeased with their customer service. This is the second time I order ahead, do not receive cream and sugar for coffee, and the manager tells me they don't have any more cream at the moment. Sorry but how do you expect to continue to serve coffee when you don't have any cream or sugar? There was a worker who said they have cream in the back and went to go get it luckily. You don't have to be Einstein to know these are great bagels. I love bagels. My favorite Einstein bagel is a tie between the spinach Florentine and the everything bagel. Einstein bagels has lots of different bagels to choose from, but my second runner up favs are: Asiago, blueberry, 6 cheese, chocolate chip, pumpkins and power protein bagels. When I'm feeling really guilty, l get the power protein bagel the extra protein with the less fat cream cheese.......because it sounds less wicked. I know, I know call me a heretick but my absolutely favorite thing at Einstein bagels is the chocolate chip coffee cake, it's just marvelous. Their cinnamon walnut strudel is yummy, as is there blueberry muffins. Einstein bagels has wonderful smears, my favorites are the spicy jalapeno salsa, honey almond and maple. If you just got to have locks and bagels you can't do better than their Nova LOX. It has cold smoked salmon with just the right amount of cream cheese. They go beyond bagels and baked goods and have some really great sandwiches. The humas veg out and harvest chicken salad sandwiches are really good. Einstein Bro Bagels seems to have a a few tasty bagel-sandwiches combinations that seem a little strange but is surprisingly really tasty. The first time I have tried Einstein Bro's was in Phoenix, Arizona a few years back and I was hooked on the breakfast egg sandwich called "the Spicy Elmo" so hooked on that I had that same sandwich three breakfast days in a row. Fast forward to today and they still had the same dish that I have once tried long ago. So this dish had a bit of nostalgia feel to my college tennis days. O by the way, the "Spicy Elmo" was named after one of the Einstein brothers you see on the logo, the skinnier one with the wavy hair with glasses is named Elmo. After learning that it was opening one near my house made me even more surprised and constantly hoping to try that "Spicy Elmo" again. And of course once that place opened I did....the end...jk I'm not going to leave you guys hanging =) My two top favorite dishes as you might say here are... The Spicy Elmo (duh!!) The breakfast wrap is filled with scrambled eggs, bacon, green chilies, melted Swiss cheese and a spicy red chili cream cheese all rolled up in a tortilla. It makes your taste buds dance with both the hot peppers and the spicy spread. Super delicious on a cold morning. The Turkey Handcrafted Deli Sandwich Originally it is the Turkey and Cheese Deli Sandwich, but I honesty prefer it without cheese on this one it just tastes soo fresh with all that lettuce, tomato, red onions, and mayo. I just love that crispy bite you feel after taking that fist bite. I also like this sandwich on a wheat bread because it tastes good and it is a healthier alternative to white bread. Pros: Tasty muffins They have egg white sandwiches and dishes (healthy choice!) DUDE. Bagels. Being mildly lactose intolerant, there are only TWO things that I am willing to completely disregard the discomfort that I will endure after eating copious amounts of, and those two things are ice cream and bagels with obscene amounts of cream cheese. So imagine how excited I was when I discovered they opened a new bagel cafe in town. Pretty excited. Came around 10:45 am, so it wasn't super busy, but wasn't totally empty either. The staff was all extremely helpful and nice. The cashier guy even asked to touch my foxtail that I have attached to my purse (yes, I said foxtail.). I got an everything bagel with egg, bacon and jalapeño cream cheese. The bagel itself was mediocre, barely better than the everything bagels that you can buy at the supermarket. So that was a little disappointing. The jalapeño cream cheese was surprisingly spicier than I expected, but I love spicy food, so that was nice. The iced caramel macchiato was pretty good. Kinda sweet, but I mean what was I expecting ordering something like a caramel macchiato? I also got a blueberry muffin for the BF, but I didn't try it. Looked ok, though. Facilities were very clean and there was tons of seating. Will probably be back sometime, but I didn't fall in love. I have visited many Einstein Bagels over the years, but always when I was traveling on the East coast. Back then, I just assumed that Einstein and Noah's were part of the same company because at that time both chains had very similar decors and Noah's stores were only on the West coast and Einstein stores were on the East coast. I thought that it was like mayonnaise, with "Best Foods" in the West and "Hellman's" in the East or Souplantation in California and Sweet Tomato outside of California. I know now that Einstein Bros is separate from Noah's Bagels because an Einstein just opened near me in Torrance on the corner of Lomita and Hawthorne Blvd. In the past I always appreciated Einstein's large selection of bagels, breakfast sandwiches and coffees. They were a "go to" place for fast breakfasts when I was on the road. On my current visit, I noticed that the decor has changed considerably. Einstein has gone to brighter colors and flashier signage. The signage kind of reminded me of Dunkin Donuts' signage. As I waited in line I also noticed that they have added several new menu items that I really thought were different. One was the "bagel clusters". These looked like little bagel rounds bunched into large cupcake pans and then covered with melted cheeses. The result were, cupcake shaped bagel goodies. Another tasty looking item was the cinnamon chip scones. It's a great idea and it tasted delicious. They have a full selection of espresso, cappuccino, latte, mocha drinks as well as large containers of self-serve fresh brewed coffees. I got a cup of the self-serve vanilla nut coffee and it was very good and satisfying. Einstein also has a good selection of sandwiches, paninis, salads and soups. I'll have to try the lunch items on my next visit. The bagels are as fresh and tasty as ever and their coffee is hot and fresh. I enjoyed my visit to Einstein and now that they are in the neighborhood, I will be visiting more often. read more

It's right next to five guys and has plenty of parking. I love to come here for lunch. I have tried the nova lox on spinach and artichoke bagel and it is really good, the other one I've tried is green chile sandwich, a bit spicy but I don't mind. I love spicy food. Workers are always nice and very welcoming. I do recommend coming here earlier than noon because they tend to run out of all the good bagels even though they close at 5pm. I am always craving there bagels here and will never say no to having some delish bagels, esp the nova lox without capers! They have outdoor patio seating too. Stopped by Einstein Bros a few days ago to pick up some bagels. Was really craving a garlic bagel from Noah's Bagels, but Einstein's is closer to home and I figured since their companies are affiliated, their garlic bagels would be the same. Sadly, I thought wrong. I decided to try their Nova Lox bagel which consists of: your choice of bagel, plain cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomatoes, raw onions, and capers. Since I was craving a garlic bagel, I thought, why not get it? So I ordered a Nova Lox on a garlic bagel with no tomatoes. Now, let me point out that the garlic bagels at Noah's are covered with chopped garlic pieces and are pretty potent in flavor (some people don't care for that, but that's what I love about them!) In comparison, Einstein Bros' garlic bagel has some chopped garlic pieces, but also (strangely) has sesame seeds too. The garlic flavor is very mild, or should I say lack thereof. So I was really disappointed when I tried my Nova Lox. The rest of the bagel creation was good, but expensive. Probably won't order that all the time. The other bagels I tried (sesame seed, pretzel, everything, etc) were pretty good. I just know that from now on, I'll stick to Noah's Bagels if I'm craving a garlic bagel. read more

I "stopped in" with my newspaper ... ordered an egg bagel and coffee. This bagel tasted nothing like any egg bagel I've eaten before. Sort of a generic taste. I finished it and the coffee so to have time for the newspaper. Standing in line, sitting at a "not so clean table" and the attendant noise inside didn't add to what I expected to be a positive experience. Everything Noah's bagels on the hill is not. Professional & courteous service and well managed COVID procedures. They are just as busy: but they treat you well as they rush to serve you. The food is delicious, it's really hard to find better quick-serve bagel breakfasts. We come here at least a couple of times a month to fuel up for the day's errands. Einstein's only gets two stars because of how they handle misbehaving employees - specifically the male manager who works there. He seems to have no issue with sexually harassing his customers including commenting on their bodies, saying how pretty they are and even blocking their attempts to get away from his advances. This was my experience and I complained to the regional manager who did absolutely nothing about it, and didn't follow up with me as promised. I've had bagels from here a number of times mostly at the office and it has never disappointed me. This time, I wanted to experience in the store and I dropped in. I was quite surprised with how packed the place was, they were already out of some of the bagels. We decided to try the gourmet chile bagel and an jalapeno one. We got them both toasted and had the jalapeno chile shmear on the chile one. The chile was quite hot and the shmear made it even more flavorful. The guy who provided the service was smiling and was trying to keep up with the orders and he did an excellent job, kudos to him. I forgot the name. The bagel was actually a seeded bun with pumpkin seeds. I should've asked for a bagel that I liked. But they even burned the outer edge of my bun. The bun was hard to chew. Why such low rating for this place? We love einsteins bagels. My older kid loves the nova lox and even my picky eater toddler always finishes her meal everytime we come here for brunch. Yeah it does get crowded and busy. But you just gotta suck up the wait! I just wish they wouldnt mess up orders every now and then. This is a great place to order bagels, if they get the order right! My husband has severe dairy and food allergies, so he has to order his breakfast sandwich a certain way: Turkey Sausage with Egg Whites on an Everything Bagel. Well, almost EVERY TIME he orders this he gets it made wrong. One time, they added cheese and avocado. To fix it, all they had to do was remake with without avocado and cheese: well instead, they gave him a bacon and egg white sandwich on an everything bagel. This is very disappointing. The manager doesn't seem to care about food allergies or getting orders right. If someone with severe food allergies didn't check their sandwich, they could go into anaphylactic shock, and guess who would be responsible.... the people who can't get orders right!!!! read more

The girl taking our order was in the middle of asking which kind of bagel we wanted our sandwich on, before we could even answer, April was in a hurry and grabbed a plain bagel. We told the girl taking our order that we wanted it on a six cheese bagel, so she called out to April so she didn't go further with making our sandwich before we could finish ordering. April threw her head as if it were a problem, so we said it was fine if she had already started. She said it was okay and made it correctly. Although it was a little less than an hour to closing time, she was in the wrong and shouldn't have shown any attitude right in front of the customer. I've been a regular at this location for at least a year. The food is delicious, when they get your order correct or don't burn your bagel. The management is clearly at fault for the problems here. Some of what they serve is so bad, it's obvious the employees don't care. You have to ask them, would you eat this? It's such a shame because this place could be so awesome. I have been coming to this location for over two years now. When I first started coming to this store, the service was excellent and management was on point. Customer satisfaction was their priority. They were always friendly, greeted me by name, even knew my order, and made me feel welcome at the store. Ever since management changed, it's been a different story. The new managers are rude. They are inconsistent in the quality of their beverages as well as their service. Almost every single time I have ordered a handcrafted beverage, I've had to go back because they missed an ingredient or used the wrong syrup. Half the time, the bagels are burnt or cut unevenly. I've found mold in their fruit cups on more than one occasion. The cashiers are usually nice. There's an elderly man who is always very friendly and a lady, (Lucia is her name I think?) who is always patient and makes sure I am satisfied with my order. Otherwise, food is okay. Coffee is subpar. It's most convenient for grabbing a quick bite during breaks at work (Five Guys is more pricey and takes too long, Coffee Bean is in the same plaza but a bit too far for a work break). read more

I have been coming to Einsteins every weekend (sometimes 2x a week) since the day they opened in Torrance. We moved from Torrance to Gardena and we still drive here because we do like the food. I am in customer service and I feel what makes customers want to come back is a friendly environment; remembering my name, my order (I get the same thing everytime) and not fighting with coworkers IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. This has happened multiple times. I have to ask for lightly toasted or else they burn it, and most of the time it is still burnt even when I ask. Also, they barely put any cream cheese. I ask for extra topping, and they still put nothing and try to charge me for extra. One time we came and it was such a mess that they had a "refund line" because people were having to wait 45 mins for a bagel.. This place is so unorganized and the cooks don't know how to read a simple receipt. To me it is common sense, don't serve burnt food and prepare it the way the customer asks. Get it together Einstein! We don't want to change bagel places but unless things change, it is not worth the effort. read more
