Atmosphere - came here at noon on Saturday. We ordered ahead online. Restaurant tables and floors were not clean. Lots of seating and parking. Taste - We ordered the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and cinnamon bagel with cream cheese. Both were very tasty. Bagels were soft and chewy...just like we like them. No non-dairy creamers. Customer Service - Not very friendly. One gal was not very happy although the gal rushing to clean everything was very nice. Long wait time for our order. Price - Above average

Best bagels in town. Got two Spinach Florentines and a coffee refill. Cashier and manager was very kind to help with coupon codes to ensure the charges were correct. Very good customer service!! Ok, bye.

When I use to commute to work, I use to pick up a bagel before I hit the freeway about 1-2 times a week. Using their app, I racked up enough points for a free dozen bagels several times. Just FYI, the points do expire. Today, I got a toasted garlic bagel with an easy smear plus a large coffee. Good tasting bagel. The coffee is self serve. I been there on some Saturday mornings and usually there's already a crowd present.

Came here for a family bagel breakfast and it was so expensive! The bagels are delicious but it really is a treat to come here due to prices. I ordered an open face lox bagel which was so good. The salmon was the right amount, service was prompt and it was very busy on Saturday.

Can you spare the cream cheese?

Ordered a green chili bagel lightly toasted with cream cheese. What I got was (I think) an Asiago bagel with LIGHT cream cheese. Hardly any at all. Super disappointing that I ordered ONE item and it wasn't right.

Excellent customer service from the entire team. They were so busy yet never stopped smiling and being kind. I was in the area for a doctors appointment and they even went out of their way to gift my dog a doggy bagel. These are the kinds of moves that people appreciate and won't forget!

We were looking for a place to grab a quick breakfast and my husband he use to grab breakfast here when he use to work in Torrance. I always heard about the franchise but never close to a store. My husband ordered the Farmhouse and I got a jalapeño cheddar bagel with one egg, turkey sausage and cheddar. We also ordered a cheddar hash brown which our daughter liked. This location seemed to pretty popular in the morning. The bagel sandwich was just okay for me but it's a good stop if you need to grab a quick breakfast. The service was quick and inside there is plenty of seating.

Food order was bad , they make cream cheese with a bagel which was tons of cream cheese . if you don't tip they make you a face like you are robbing them . The picture is after I took a lot of the cream cheese , until I had to stop eating it because it was soak in the cream cheese

This was my first visit, and I ordered the Baker's Dozen. The cashier filled our bagel box without providing any explanation or clarifying the pricing, then directed us to pay at the next register. At checkout, we were informed that our total was significantly higher $9.00 to be exact because 10 of the 13 bagels were subject to an additional $0.90 charge each--something that had not been communicated upfront. In addition my drink was supposed to be a LARGE and she charged for a small. I paid for them but was slightly upset especially since finances are tight due to inflation. I spoke with the manager, who apologized and acknowledged that we should have been informed of the extra charges. However, no compensation was initially offered. Only after I mentioned it did she say, "Well, I accidentally made an extra drink--so you can have it if you like." I very disappointed with my service and now understand why their over all rating is only 2 1/2 stars. NOT TO END IT IN A BAD NOTE COMPLETELY; The bagels and cream cheese were delicious.

This place needs to have a better system to take orders. Cashiers are all over the place and can't follow simple instructions. They don't know how to take orders! We requested the garden avocado on a jalapeño/cheese and no tomatoes and of course I didn't get what I requested :/ . They need to have a more organized method for customers when ordering and paying.

Came here 3 days in a row now. Got the Spinach Florentine bagel twice and happy to say it's consistently fantastic. That char cheese flavor on the edges and that gooey cheese with spinach in the middle is now my go-to. 3rd day I tried the jalapeño cheese bagel, fantastic as well. It's a different cheese than the spinach one (cheddar) and I didn't really taste any of that char cheese flavor on the edges like the spinach bagel but it was still fantastic. Crispy cheese, jalapeño heat that wasn't overwhelming (I hear the green chile bagel is spicier, may try that next, but need to try the hash brown bagel first). Bagel dough itself, fresh and scrumptious, not dry ONE BIT, very fluffy. Spinach florentine is still my #1. Oh, need to try the lunch sandwiches too! See you soon Einstein!

They have seating on the patio and inside with both tables and booths or at the bar. The decor is fun with bright vibrant colors and picturesque walls. Food was decent, though basic and (see picture of Truffle Fries, they should have spent a few more seconds in the fryer to get at least a little golden and have some crispiness rather than blanched and lackluster). The Machaca Scramble was the most flavorful and best tasting dish we had at our table as the corned beef hash and eggs were standard (not bad but nothing to Yelp rave about). By far the best part was the Bottomless Mimosas which are offered everyday, not just on the weekends! Big bonus! Our server was attentive and had a happy disposition. I felt Serendipity has so much great potential, between the decor, service and bottomless mimosas I'd imagine they would have more birthdays or group celebrations going on, especially for such a large space. But the vibe was a bit off with the low playing Spanish music, I would imagine if they had more pop music or upbeat music to fit the vibe of the place they'd have more of a fun vibe. Not that there is anything wrong with Spanish music, it just wasn't jiving with the vibe of the place and was so low and not so up beat (romantic Spanish ballads were playing). The laminated menus also gave an old diner vibe instead of trendy "serendipity" vibe. I'll still come back to see if they can match the vibe to the decor and try a few other menu items, but I do hope they up the ambiance. And get that extra star status!

The restaurant has inside seating for 40 guests and outside for 30. We arrived between breakfast and lunchtime and were able to get the last outside table. The attentive staff got us seated right away, and after browsing through their menu, we ordered the following items (arrived in 15 minutes) : Marine: The buckwheat outer layer was soft, not soggy, and with nice resistance. The light creamy tomato-based dressing with sliced mushrooms was pleasantly flavorful. Both shrimp and scallops were of good size, fresh and juicy. Fromage: Like Marine Crepe, the buckwheat out layer was soft. The mild brie cheese provided pleasant creaminess to the filling. Seasoned bacon, scrambled egg, onion, and mushroom added nice savoriness to the dish. The portions were sensible and the prices were reasonable. Very nice culinary experience.

First the food size is becoming ridiculous (au gratin potatoes so small) The service is where I'm shocked, the waiting staff turnover is crazy. I was there last Sunday evening (05/24) and one of the waiter with a French accent looks like he just started that day, he was clueless about the menu, didn't know what was the soup of the day, and very inattentive to our table (water refill, empty plates...) like he just wanted our tips ! Also I'm sorry about that one but he had a foul smell like he just finished working out... the table next to us was saying the same thing. I came back on Friday (05/29)early afternoon and seen the same waiter still no refill and same foul smell Im going to try their other locations in PV or Hermosa and see if I'm lucky and they're like that location used to be

CUTE AND YUMMY Love…read morethis bright and homey cafe in the heart of Redondo's Riviera Village! Grateful my friend has a daughter who lives in town and suggested it; otherwise, I never would have noticed it. Even though it was a Sunday morning, we immediately found seats inside. Of course it was a cheery yellow interior with lots of floral accents, hence "Yellow Vase." After perusing the extensive menu at our table, we realized we had to order and pay at the counter, where they were doing a bustling business with tempting pastries and fresh java. They gave us a number to place on our table to let them know where to deliver our food. My old pal from high school (Yes, we've known each other for DECADES!), always leans towards lox for breakfast. It was no surprise that she ordered the Smoked Salmon Plate ($16.95). The salmon arrived on a fresh French baguette with capers, red onion, tomatoes and cream cheese. I like variety, so the 2 by 2 ($16.95) was right up my alley. The two pieces of French toast were homemade perfection. So were the two scrambled eggs, the two chicken sausages and the rosemary potatoes. What an ample, delicious brunch. We were too busy catching up to photograph our meal, though. Sorry, 'cause it was pretty! Just wish the water cups were larger as we had to make several trips to the H20 station for refills. Follow the yellow brick road - I mean Catalina Avenue - and go!

Lively joint, tons of decorations, musica blasting, whistles blowing, etc. Looking good... Promptly seated and greeted by staff. Drink orders placed relatively quickly and delivered not quite as quickly. I thought, "thats ok", as they were a tad busy. Not packed, but busy. Afterwards, I also requested additional chips, which BTW, never arrived... That is where it started a slow roll downhill that quickly spiraled into a steep hill, no brakes situation. After 15 or so minutes, our server, who shall remain anonymous, takes our order. Pretty simple, the camarron tacos for me, fajitas for the wife. They arrive, again about 15 min later so, not too bad. As for the food, I can only speak on behalf of my tacos and I must say, they were very enjoyable. Wifey said the fajitas were "bland and not well seasoned". A very basic "just ok". I only finished two of the three tacos. Then, literally after we had both been finished with our meals and drinks for at least 20 min, our server comes back and asks if we would like anything else. At this point obviously not... And by this time, after having already been there for nearly an hour and a half, (with only 2 hrs in the meter across the street), we called it an evening. Well guess what, pardon the pun but Houdini finally and magically reappears, (after at least another 15 minutes), arriving back with our check and a doggie box. I was gonna pay cash on the bill but due to the denominations in our possession, it would have resulted in a tip much more than he deserved... Ended up with 8 minutes on the meter. We will never come back to this location. I will patronize my preferred location in Pedro...
