EL INCOMPARABLE Peruvian Flavors in Granada Hills El Incomparable brings a surprising and delicious Peruvian twist to Granada Hills, blending homestyle comfort with bold, vibrant flavors. From the citrusy punch of their ceviche to the smoky depth of pollo a la brasa style plates, the food hits that perfect balance of fresh, hearty, and deeply seasoned. Every dish feels intentional, rooted in tradition but served with the kind of warmth that keeps locals coming back. A standout spot for anyone craving Peruvian soul food without leaving the Valley.

What a pleasant surprise! Sometimes you just have to take a chance on a restaurant that's not a 4-5 stars because there's a chance they can aspire to that, and El Incomparable Peruvian certainly fits that. We ordered the Platano Frito (fried plantain bananas), lomo saltado, and Pollo saltado. These are my usual barometer when trying new Peruvian restaurants. To start, the aji sauce is creamy and delicious, although lacking a little bit of that heat. Delicious nonetheless, and works well with their bread and our entrée. My picky mom usually doesn't venture out of her comfort zone of Asian cuisine, but she loves the food here. The Platano Frito were perfectly well done, with their golden brown outer layer that adds just a hint of crust around the soft, delicious sweet plantain. They're just heavenly. My dish is the classic Lomo Saltado and it is beautifully presented on its unique plate. It looks so good just by looking at it and tastes just as well! The cuts of beef are grilled nicely with flavor and texture, while the onions and tomato balance things out with their sweetness. Finally fries and rice help to soak up the very delicious lonito, the mouth watering broth and soy sauce that makes the dish work so well and is the signature taste of a good Lomo Saltado. The Pollo Saltado also works very well in this regard, although given the choice, I'll always choose lomo over Pollo saltado because of the the way the beef works better with the Lonito. And to round it out, Casie our waitress was super friendly and great with her service. A real nice dinner experience overall!

We have eaten here a few times, ordered online for the first time and I was very happy with service. My order was correct, food arrived hot, and it was definitely on point. I would definitely recommend this spot for a great Peruvian meal. Restaurant is also kept very clean.

Delicious Arroz con Pato and Lomo Saltado! Service was also friendly. But I would recommend getting the salsa criolla with the Arroz con Pato vs the Papa à la Huancaina.

My review is for the takeout Pollo a la Brasa. The chicken is delicious, served with French fries and a salad. Everything is packed neatly, and the spicy sauces are so good! The service is attentive, and while the place is small, it's clean.

I came back to this restaurant after three years to give them a chance. Breakfast Desayuno Criollo #1 Chicharron, Tamal y Camote. The pork looks like it was from couple weeks ago so grease overfried. The tamal was terrible and the Camote as well. Definetely this restaurant should be close for good.

First time try this place and it is near the Main Kitchen restaurant! I order Lomo Salto and mango drink. It was so good combination! They provide their complementary bread with their Peruvian sauce! So good, I love their green sauce, it had a kick of spicy. They do have bathroom. Their services are pretty fast and cleaned. I like how their restaurant had beautiful painting wall. Plenty of tables and only street parking.

Shrimp soup is one of my favorites

I fell in love with the aromas and eating it all with the bomb with the homemade spicy sauce was . Delicious broth flavor the meat is tender marinated and love the sauce drenched steak fries with jasmine rice portion was decent too.

    This is so bad..

If there is -0 I'll give this place... the taste is so bad. My lomo maltado is so bland.. and my husband chicken with potato is so salty. It's like a cup of salt was pour in his food. So we told the server. And they change it but the chicken is still salty.. I think the chicken is marinated prior cooking and they put tons of salt so when you sautéed it with the veggies it's still in the meat.. my beef is so bad, potatoes is soggy, egg is not fresh and the ceviche is not even that fresh. They said it's sea bass but I think it's tilapia.. I hope we don't get sick with this food.. they need to closed to be honest.. ‍

Love the food here!!! So much flavor and the plating looks amazing! I've been eating here since it opened but I feel like the last month or two the food has gone up a notch and it was already incredible. I don't know what the change is but I'm definitely satisfied. The causa de tuna is always a must! The tacu tacu and lomo saltado are my fave dishes but everything I've had here is great! I think my only complaint is that I wish the bread was toasted or warm when they give it to you as you wait for your food. The cold bread (refrigerated cold) does not taste good especially with sauce.

Staff was just as friendly as before, and the place still has that lived-in, homey charm. I ordered a pair of tacos: BBQ Beef and Crispy Shrimp. Both come with shredded cabbage, sliced jalapeños, cilantro and a creamy, mayo-based sauce. The shrimp taco worked perfectly, with a crispy, tasty coating giving way to plump, fresh shrimp. The sauce melded into the cabbage, almost making a slaw you might get on a po' boy, and the peppers added a nice heat. I added a squeeze of fresh lemon, and that rounded things out nicely. It was a great bite of seafood. The BBQ Beef was less successful. The mayo and an extra dollop of chipotle mayo were too much for the small taco, and overtook the flavor of the beef. The beef had a nice flavor, but was a bit too dry, and had been chopped a bit too finely -- I would have liked larger pieces to really enjoy the flavor. In fact, others were eating the BBQ Beef plate, and the beef there looked far more appealing. So, I'm not discouraged. I'll come back for the full plate treatment, and see how things stack up. I still think this is a great place that deserves your attention and support. Good people.

My coworkers ordered the Chicken Gangjeong in both the Soy Garlic and Sweet & Spicy flavors. I only had a bite of each, but both were juicy and seemed to be made with dark meat chicken. The Soy Garlic was actually sweeter than the Sweet & Spicy, which caught me off guard, while the Sweet & Spicy had more of a mild heat than an overwhelming kick. I ordered the Grandma Tteokbokki at spice level 2 and added melted cheese and ramen. Those add-ons were absolutely worth it. The cheese made the sauce extra creamy, while the ramen soaked up all of the flavor and turned it into a hearty, comforting meal. Spice level 2 had a nice kick without overpowering the dish, making it easy to enjoy from start to finish. Overall, everything we tried was satisfying, and I'd happily come back to work my way through more of the menu. We lucked out and got the last booth before the dinner rush. The place looked exactly like it did last time we came. Staff was still friendly. They don't accept cash, only cards/tap to pay. Their menu looked different. Wish I had taken a photo. You have an option to build your own boil by choosing your protein, sauce, spice level and add in's. They still don't allow you to mix garlic butter and lemon pepper sauces. You're forced to get the Kickin mix which includes Cajun even if you're not a fan of that flavor. They also have a kids menu with 2 choices, appetizers and family combos. Always intimidating ordering from a menu that doesn't disclose the pricing up front. That's the weirdest thing. Even restaurants in Beverly Hills have pricing on their menus. We got the family feast which feeds up to 4 people and had a combo of crab, mussels, shrimp, sausage, rice, potato and corn which was about $107. (Side note, they charge 50 cents for a pair of gloves and they do not provide you with a little towelette to wipe before or after your meal) This I have to admit was a pretty good deal considering it's a good amount of seafood. They serve it to you in a large metal bowl. We asked for mild since we had toddlers, but because of the Cajun in the sauce (that they force you to get if you want garlic butter and lemon pepper flavor) it was more of a medium, and the kids could not tolerate the heat. Which wasn't a bad thing since that meant more for us grown ups. Ordered them a side of truffle fries which was not too bad actually. We also ordered some of their specialty drinks which come in huge cups. We tried asking for two small empty cups so the kids could share our drinks, but they refused to provide that to us. According to the waiter, it's the restaurant policy that they can only provide water cups, but we have to figure out what to do with the water inside. (Insert face palm emoji) Also they do not provide buckets for your shells so we weren't sure what to do with all that water but drink it. The cups are thin paper cups to pair perfectly with those gross paper straws. By the time we finished the water the cups were pretty mushy already. Needless to say we couldn't finish all our food so we asked for it to go, reluctantly as we hoped they weren't going to try and charge us for those to go bags as well. Pro's: they brought the food out quickly. The food tasted freshly cooked. Con's: don't know where to begin. Parking lot sucks since it's shared with multiple other businesses. There is no place for you to sit and wait outside the restaurant. You'll need to stand outside by the parking lot and pray you don't get side swiped by some crazy driver. Menu has hidden pricing. They charge 50 cents for gloves and do not provide wipes for after your meal. They don't provide a bucket/container to place your seafood shells so it gets mixed in with your other food on the table. Can't even ask for an empty cup for kids. They don't let you customize your sauces your way. Sad to say after all this time my review for this place is still a solid 2 stars.
