    Corn Taco Plate Lunch

Hands down some of the best Mexican food we have eaten! Huge plates! Everything was so good and fresh! What a hidden gem! We will drive the 2 hours to come back!

My hubby and I were searching for some Mexican rotisserie chicken for lunch and we definitely found it! I think this place is a great secret overlooked because of Hutchins BBQ right next door. We ordered the whole rotisserie bird. It came with rice and beans ( which we skipped) and tortillas. It was fabulously grilled with the smoky char marks on the skin. Just eating the chicken and rice only still left us with enough for lunch the next day. The tortillas were light but strong. (iykyk) :-) The whole lunch with two beverages was also budget friendly. Take note though... they ask if you want chips and salsa? My thought was, "Yes, of course, I am at a Mexican restaurant!" I probably would have said "No!" if I had realized they charge $3.25 for them! Only negative from our visit.

The absolute best Mexican food in McKinney!! The atmosphere is fun. A small gem of a restaurant! The service is always great! The food is delicious and always fresh!

Combo fajitas with rice and beans

Quick friendly service ! Great chips and salsa. I had the combo fajitas and came home with tons of leftovers too. Will def go back

Amazing food! Definitely a hole in the wall but great value for the money. I got the tacos and they were so good!!

    Ham and chorizo breakfast tacos

Decently priced authentic Mexican food and with good portion size. The breakfast tacos are great. The. Breakfast torta as well. I didn't enjoy the huevos divorciados as much mainly because the red and green salsa were too acidic and strong.

We stumbled upon this little gem looking for Hutchins BBQ a few years back. We went a few times and ate from the regular menu. We always enjoyed everything we had, it's real Mexican food. This review is about the breakfast. I ordered Huevos Al Gusto It had beef fajitas with onions refried beans and potato's with 3 fried eggs over the top. My wife had Huevos Al Mexicano that had bacon and eggs scrambled with refried bean's and potato's, both dishes served with hot corn tortillas and, coffee. this is a small place and they serve you with a smile. The price's are really affordable, give them a try if you're looking for authentic Mexican food!

Food is amazing...the horchata is phenomenal! Service is just as great. Got our food fairly quick. We will definitely be back. Come check this place out!

    Delicious for less than $7

He greeted us when we first came in, seated us, waited on us - very kind, communicative! We had chips & queso, Izri brought some great fruit out (delicious), & I had brunch chilaquiles (YUM)! Then Izri brought a sopapilla that I brought home to my husband (he loved it, instantly said he wanted more) Chep's had many great different options, some you might see at other restaurants - but you can tell Chepa's options are slightly different (better)... excited to come back and try spinach & chicken enchiladas and tres leches!! Yummm

The food as a Mexican was amazing especially when you know different regions from Mexico and you know each regions have their flavors and staples. It has been a pleasure for my palate to enjoy those flavor again. We always like asking about the background and origins of the restaurants we visit and we always note and comparare details. The flavors just to reiterate.... Awesome! Atmosphere and service totally outstanding, today was our second time and the person even apologized for us not getting the same booth, we were like what??? You remember that and us? Well we are sold and we found the new place for us to invite friend and have family celebrations! Maybe I can not give a Michelin Star but for sure a "Miguelin" star! Thank you all! Jeziel, Isri, Eli, Charlie , Rolando, we do not know all the names yet but we will acknowledge every one properly and please know that little things come a long way and make a difference!!!! Addendum- for some reason my original post did not post when intended but now that I can, still going there and love it still!!! We have had family gatherings, great moments to celebrate and even when lows, we still found this place an amazing place to be. In all honesty, we feel like they are family, almost like the show Cheers... "sometimes you want to go where every body knows your name". It has been for us a great balance of consistency all around, service, the food, the drinks, even if prices went up (given the economy right now), we know it will be great! Even during these times they have never tried to cut corners or even increase prices!! We love you guys and will continue supporting our local businesses!!

Great ambiance and large restaurant seating space, but the parking lot is much smaller by comparison and gets filled fast.

If you think you've had excellent birria at other places--I promise you, you've had nothing until you've had theirs. They offer their quesabirria tacos in both barbacoa and lamb (because it's actually authentic Mexican) and they are total nirvana. And today, my search for the best menudo in Dallas came to an end. This is it and I'm positive I'll be getting it every Saturday that I can during the cooler months. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to trying everything else on their menu. Today we took our order to go and it was packaged completely perfectly with generous salsas and toppings.
