We were super excited to try this place, but it did not live up to our expectations. We came in for breakfast and ordered eggs and chicken sausage (which we did not get a picture of). The chicken was filled with too many onions and was a bit salty. I can handle a good onion flavor, but it seemed as if there were more onion chunks and salt than actual chicken in the sausage. The sourdough cinnamon roll was solid, not exceptional. The dough itself was delicious, however, I prefer my cinnamon rolls to be sweet and the cream cheese icing just wasn't great. I ended up eating the dough and taking off the icing. Another note, the host taking our order seemed to be rushing us as we ordered, even though we told him it was our first time. The bakery was not full at all and there was no one in line so we were a little confused why he seemed in a rush. Overall, a very cool, modern-style bakery, but didn't love the food or service as much as I was expecting to. I got the half grilled cheese sandwich + soup, which came with a side salad that had an even amount of dressing on each bite (YUM!!). This is one of the most beautiful bakeries/restaurant/coffee bar I've ever been to. The aesthetic is top tier- so minimal and elegant. It appears they bake everything in house. I came for the cinnamon rolls but they sold out at 10am ish- I got there around 11am on a Saturday. I ended up getting the apple turnover and it was delicious- so tart and flaky and not overly sweet- perfection. I also tried their black matcha which is not hojicha, but more of a milk tea. It tastes almost like a Hong Kong style milk tea. Taking a star off because the price is kind of steep. It was $9 for this black matcha.. We decided to still try the croissant, banana bread latte, chicken pesto sandwich, and chicken pot pie. The sourdough croissant was cold and didnt taste fresh...probably because its been out the whole morning already and they didnt heat it back up before serving it. The iced banana bread latte was very bland and tasted watered down, not much banana bread flavor nor coffee flavor. Tasted more like milk and water. There was maybe 3 ice cubes inside and melted within 10 min of getting served the drink. The chicken pesto sandwich was alright. It came with a side of arugula salad but it was very bitter. The sandwich itself was very light in flavor but the melted cheese and warm chicken was good. The chicken pot pie wasnt that great....the flaky crust was pretty burnt and the chicken filling was really bland. I could taste the heavy rosemary flavor but that was pretty much it. They cut their celery, carrots and chicken into pretty big pieces so that was ok...just wished it tasted better and not just rosemary. The croissant, latte, chicken pie and chicken sandwich cost around $65. They have very limited parking in the front and the back. We made the rookie mistake of coming on a Sunday at 12:45 ish pm- there was hardly anything left but we snagged what we could which was the sea salt brownie, coffee cake, apple turnover. We thought our selection was very delicious. The brownie was incredibly rich, you could taste the dark cacao beans. The apple turnover was flakey and filled with chunks of apple. Coffee cake was moist and fluffy. If this was just the remains I can only imagine how good the selection is and tastes before 10:30 am which is the time the server said we should be there. They don't warm up their pastries, which I personally prefer my pastries warm, but I totally get if that's their thing. The food overall was really good and I enjoyed the eggs benedict a lot. Went to Eller Bakery and honestly I am kind of surprised by some of the reviews because my wife and I thought this place was really really good. We were thoroughly impressed. The space itself is awesome huge indoor seating area with a small outdoor section too and it is tucked away in a spot where you would never expect it. We both ordered food and drinks and everything hit. I got a latte special it was some kind of cinnamon dulce latte and it was phenomenal I drank the entire thing before the food even came out. For food I ordered the classic breakfast and it was done so well. The bacon was thick but somehow perfectly crispy which is hard to pull off and that alone impressed me. The sourdough slices paired perfectly with the eggs and the eggs were cooked beautifully not runny not dry just the perfect scrambled texture which is harder than people think. The potatoes really shocked me though they were cut in this accordion style and cooked in a way that gave them an amazing crunch while still being soft and airy inside definitely a standout. The bacon was probably my favorite part overall it was just perfect. My wife ordered the tomato bisque with the arugula salad and rye bread and she loved it. You could tell the soup was homemade with great seasoning oregano and a little basil and it paired really well with the bread. Overall we were both extremely impressed with the quality and execution. I would absolutely recommend this spot whether you want to sit and work study grab a great coffee or enjoy really solid homemade baked goods and food. read more

Open concept and a long coffee bar. However, despite the spacious display, there wasn't much to choose from. You walk up to order your food and they'll assign you a table if one is available, otherwise, you'll wait for a table. Overall service is good/great. Friendly! They're quick to he your food/drinks out and quick to bus your table after you leave. There is one unisex bathroom for the whole place! Expect to wait 10 min in line. They need more. Didn't give it 5 because it's a tad over priced. With tip, coffee (not even that big) and pastrie is $20. But go for the vibe and supporting a local business! read more

I visited Eller Bakery on a late Saturday morning. There's parking available when you turn in & we didn't have any issue finding a spot. The bakery is located next to Wilson's Coffee. The interior is simple but bright & open, while the outdoor seating is especially pretty with trees that provide plenty of shade from the sun. The cashier was helpful in answering our questions about certain menu items. I ordered the french omelette with chicken sausage patties, & my friend got the creamed spinach along with a gibraltar. They also had smoothies available in the fridge section, as well as delicious-looking pastries displayed by the register. We both really enjoyed our food, & I appreciate that they use very clean ingredients with no seed oils or refined sugars. We ended up staying for a couple of hours after eating & I was able to get some work done, even with the social atmosphere. Came here this past Thursday around 12:30pm and there was no line, thankfully. I had tried to come here before on a weekend and the line was out the door and barely moved. Found this place through IG and came to try it out. No seed oils used and no fake sugars which is so nice! We ordered the soup and grilled cheese combo which also came with a freshening garden side salad. The soup was tomato and I could tell it was homemade and fresh. We also ordered a croissant egg and cheese sandwich. Then a cinnamon coffee cake to go. Everything was amazing and all staff were super friendly.
