Place is pretty decent. All their products are fresh and the pepperoni is beef which is a plus for the Muslim and non pork eating customers. The customer service is great as well. Solid thin crust pizza place, staff was very friendly and service was quick. The crust is thin style, much like New York, they do offer it softer or crispy crust when cooking to taylor it to your liking. The sauces was good and there was a good amount of cheese, toppings were plenty and just about right for the thin crust. The prices are a little higher but the quality is fresh and good. Just got two pizzas one half veggie half margarita and one combination. Along that with a side of wings. Pizza is 11/10 and highly will recommend and will comeback. I believe it's made in a wood fired oven and customer service is amazing. The crusty is fluffy and crunchy and the ingredients are very fresh. The wings are fall off the bone tender. My wife and I could be called Pizza Snobs. When we have time we make our own from scratch including the crust and sauce. Big Apple is hands down the best pizza I've found in the Tri Valley. Trust me, we have tried them all. The sauce is wonderful, and the crust takes me back to midtown Manhattan. I've ordered from them 4 times since they opened and each time our pizzas were excellent. Ran into the owner who is in the process of soft opening... the pizza is still as good, a little warmer coz this is close to our house and we get home sooner:) The crust is same but I thought it had some additional freshness to it - could be new ovens, water or simply placebo. I usually drive to Oakland or Walnut Creek to get pizza, because I haven't found any pizza I like in San Ramon, but now I can get a great pizza more often. This place is truly underrated and a hidden gem! Been wanting to find a local homestyle pizza shop for a while, an this place will exceed expectations. Met the owner on my first visit, super nice an humble guy. The shop is kept very clean an welcoming. We ordered 3x pies an loved them all. We had the combination, garlic chicken, but the grandma's pie was the family fav. No extra seasonings/chili pepper needed on the grandma's pie, cooked to perfection! The owner recommended not adding peppers/additional seasonings on first try, an gotta honor the chef's recs. All fresh ingredients used, each bite was flavorful and tasty/crispy. We're trying our best to make our way through all the specialty pies, as they've all been delicious so far. Fresh and hot on pickup! Don't sleep on this place, their pies are amazing.
