The soup was delicious to the last drop. The side salad is filling and with the soup it was a perfect lunch. The music wasn't loud. We sat by a window with just enough light and not blinded by sun. If I didn't say it in a previous review, this is our favorite Mexican restaurant. We have found nowhere else that compares to the food and hospitality. ... so much so that we returned the next week with our daughters. It's Father's Day and the tables are filled as soon as guests leave. The staff is attentive. The kitchen is BUSY!! They were doing their best with a nonstop crowd. We stood there for a while looking over the menu, and still no acknowledgment, which felt a little off. Eventually, someone came up to the counter to take our order. We ordered several carne asada tacos, one breaded steak taco, and refried beans. The food was decent, but the steak was noticeably drier compared to what we're used to at the other location we usually visit. The margaritas were okay, nothing particularly memorable. Although this location is newer and larger, the overall experience didn't quite match up to the consistency and service we've had before. Because of that, we'll likely stick with our usual location moving forward.
