Ordered a slice and was informed that they had to make a new pie to sell me a slice, so it would be about 13 minutes. Well, it took about 25 minutes. And the pizza, well it was okay. Greasy as hell. I did not think it was anything special, I see that they have gluten free pizza, and if you are into that, good for you. The stuff with gluten was okay. Its not the kind of pizza you go out of your way for, more the stuff that is conveniently down the street. The guys running the joint were not the most friendly either. 7:40pm and we wanted pizza! The boyfriend found the ad for free large pizza and we were so ready to try it. Unfortunately, they ran out. Boo. Tried to order sandwiches and chicken wings. Unfortunately they were out of that too! Great for them, unlucky for us. Boo hoo! But I did get the bolognese spaghetti with two meat balls. They also sold craft cream sodas and root beers, which were actually tasty selections. The place is pretty small on Broadway. There isn't a parking lot. But I got to say, great customer service. That's what sold me on the five stars.. The pasta is good and having the root beer as a selection was awesome too. I'm a little surprised that this place had such good reviews. Based on these reviews, we decided to get a large, pepperoni pizza to take to the park and get some fresh air. Upon opening the box, we were disappointed that an expensive $20 large pizza would be so small - the size of a medium at most other pizza joints. In addition, the pizza itself was overlooked with a slightly burnt tasting and very crunchy crust. The cheese was almost nonexistent because it too was overcooked. Super disappointed because today was our carb cheat day and so yes, we ate it but it wasn't a happy day :( read more

Delivery times are never under an hour. We actually waited over 30 minutes just for one slice of pizza, in the restaurant. How's that even possible you ask? They "had to make a fresh pie" .. Yea, no. We watched them forget to make the pie and start serving other walk-ins who arrived after us. Having worked in a pizzeria for a good portion of my life, I know how long it takes to heat up a slice, as well as cook a pizza. They don't have a display of pies ready to be served to customers, which makes ZERO sense due to them advertising "by the slice" availability. These guys just really need to get it together. The pizza isn't bad. The wait times and the staff is. Good luck having the guy behind the counter pay attention to you if you're trying to place a phone order. So tonight was our first time trying Fat Tomato. My hubby and I ordered a large meatlovers, the garlic wings and the bruschetta. Everything was very good and we will be back, but I had two issues 1) they delivered a medium (I had to search all over to figure out what their sizes were because their menu doesn't specify) and 2 ) I requested one side without sausage and asked the sausage just be put on the side that had sausage...making it a double sausage side. The side that should have had double sausage was very lacking in sausage....even by regular sausage standards. Anywho, I called to let them know their mistake on the pizza size and the girl on the phone was accomodating and said they would discount our next order.
