Never again to this Lexus dealership after Paul Caputos my sells person where I wanted to buy my lease, he gave me $950 higher price than other Lexus of Arlington and charging me $300 inspection which he told me it's required by Lexus which is not. He Also told me he is doing us a huge favor getting all the paper works ready which he is make any money out of. Unbelievable never again out there. read more

My issue is with Service, I came here back in April of 2020 and I spoke with the service director (Anthony) he came off as a really nice guy and easy to speak with. We spoke about 2 recalls and a service recall for my interior melted/chipped door panels. He said he would contact Lexus and try and get them approved. Pretty straight forward right? He contacts me a week later and he says that it seems like they approved my interior door panels and that he would need a final confirmation, but the parts are ordered! At that point in time, I'm pretty happy I'm getting new panels for my 2006 IS350 which is amazing. This is where the issues start, I contact Anthony two weeks later. Dead silence, did not return my call. I contact him again in July, nothing. Again in august, nothing. At this point, I don't care about my panels, but I just want a final confirmation if they are approved or not. Its the principle of returning a callback and telling the customer that, I'm sorry they are not approved or they are approved. That's it, that is all I wanted. I contact the GM of sales and I tell him that I have been having issues with Anthony and he says that he will talk with him and let him know, I still never received a callback. I call him in November and he picks up! Finally! He says that I just need pics of the dashboard to confirm that the dash has been replaced and it should be good to go and then he'll order the parts. At this point, I'm excited again, but if you've been paying attention he says that the parts were ordered previously. I let it go. But again, did you not order the parts or did you forget? I book my two recalls for my airbag and fuel delivery pipe and he says that he just needs a pic of my dash. I drop it off, pics are taken and I call him and leave him a voicemail today and he says that it was declined. Overall, my experience with this dealership has been horrid and especially with the service department and its manager who is Anthony. To those reading, I do not care about my door panels. Not even a little its a 14-year-old car, it was a shot in the dark to get approved, but a guy can dream But to me, it comes down to the principle of not returning a customer's phone calls and not returning voicemails and just not updating me. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had at any establishment in my life. Lexus to me is the definition of quality and reliability and Fields Lexus of Glenview has shown me that they do not care about the quality of their service and their customers. read more

This service department is hit or miss. The good thing is that they always have loaners, which is a major reason that you buy a luxury car. You rarely feel the love from the staff though. They just don't care. Made an appointment online for the 60K service on my 2019 RX 450h. I logged in, and it pulled up my exact vehicle. The price that it quoted me was $1395 + tax. I requested a couple additional services and added in the notes, "a please call to confirm and give total estimate." I only got text and email confirmations, no call or estimate. When I get to the dealership the next week, Melinda tells me that the price of the 60k service alone is $2100. When I mention the price when I booked the appointment, she first tells me that that price doesn't include labor. What? So for $1395 you hand me the spark plugs and filters and I put them in myself? I then ask for the manager and they tell me that the website isn't VIN specific and they wouldn't honor the online price. Considering that I logged in and it pulled up my car for me, I find this difficult to believe. I had to haggle with them just to get them to a price close to what another dealer would have charged me. read more

My wife and I recently bought a Lexus NX 300 from Field's Lexus Glenview and we couldn't be happier. While the facility looks a little dated as they continue to transition from the recent sale from Bredemann Lexus, the experience we had was top notch - mostly due to our awesome salesman Nate Boma. Just basing my expectations purely on my one other car buying experience, I was prepared for a long 6-8 hour battle of back and forth haggling, but I was pleasantly surprised how quick and efficient this car purchase was. Every phase of the process went smoothly, from the showroom browsing to the test drive, and then the pricing, financing, and final walk-through. My dad and I did our homework and came in prepared, but surprisingly we didn't need to fight to arrive to our price point - we agreed to a fair price very quickly. Nate was very transparent and didn't try to play any games with us. My dad can be a bit demanding and I can be a little too inquisitive, but Nate had supreme patience and was professional throughout. It was actually quite impressive. Even though we were taking up a lot of his time on a busy Saturday, we never felt rushed or like he was trying to squeeze in another sale after us. Even after we locked up the sale and we transitioned to financing, Nate could've shifted his attention to other potential buyers, but he continued to check up on us and make sure the process was continuing without issue. The finance guy Michael was also great. He went above and beyond to get us the best interest rate, and they were even able to beat the pre-approved rate from our bank that we walked in with. Overall, the service at Fields Lexus was great. Nate Boma earned our trust and went above and beyond to make sure all our questions were answered and we were comfortable and confident in our purchase. Even the sales manager Steve Waldrop didn't hesitate to jump in and answer a few of our questions himself. While we don't buy cars often ourselves, I'd recommend Field's Lexus to anyone in the market for a luxury car. Ask for Nate! read more

Horrible service car wash and multi point check service they do nothing just open and close not checking ... never again never

Our car broke down and we knew we needed a new alternator. We called Lexus before we had it towed there, and they quoted us $575 over the phone. Come to find out the cost is actually $1548. Now I'm paying to tow it down the block for another $150 because I found another place to do it for $1040. The difference isn't much but out of principal I can't stand to pay Lexus. And the kicker is that they won't even waive the $88 diagnosis fee, even though they were off by 200%. Terrible. read more

Always have a really good experience - from being able to get in when I need to, the customer service (Jeffrey this visit), car service and onsite waiting room/lounge where I appreciate they have desks and a few seating areas to be able to get some space to work or watch tv. I caution those who intend to take their car to Fields Lexus with expectations of a repair done correctly. I brought in my 2008 RX350 to Fields Lexus on 8/27/22, to take advantage of an alignment special they offered along with getting my tires rotated. After getting my car back after the appointment, I noticed that in order for my car to drive straight, the steering wheel had to be turned about 12 degrees to the right. I immediately turned around and went back to the dealership to present the issue. The service advisor that I spoke with was very apologetic and assured my that the issue would be corrected. The technician who did the alignment road tested the vehicle with me and observed the issue that I was experiencing. Aside from making a few additional adjustments I was instructed to schedule a follow up service appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 9/3/22. I met with a service advisor named Jesse who advised me that I would get a call when my vehicle would be ready for pickup. 2.5 hours after dropping off my car, I get a call from Jesse and the first thing he states to me is "any additional time spent on addressing the alignment would need to charged at their hourly rate". I proceeded to ask whether the issue with the misaligned steeling wheel was corrected, and he eventually stated it was indeed corrected. Upon picking up my car, and before even driving off the lot, I noticed that my wheels were rotated back to the original position prior to the rotation. I went back to the service desk to ask Jesse as to why this would be done and his first statement to me was very accusatory stating "How do you know the wheels were rotated back to the original configuration. There's no reason we would do that." Instead of getting an explanation from the technician who worked on the car, he once again proceeded to state in an escalated tone that I would need to pay them hourly to figure out any issues with the alignment and that I would need to talk to the service manager for any further assistance. At that point another service advisor, asked me how he can assist. I advised him about the issue with the tire rotation and he said he would get me an answer right away. It turns out that the technician wanted to try rotating the wheels back to the original position in hopes it would address the misaligned steering wheel issue. It did not help the issue and therefore they will once again rotate the tire as I had paid them to do. While waiting for my car, I had observed that the technician who did the alignment stated on my paperwork that he was once again unable to align the steering wheel. At this point, I just left the dealership and called a master mechanic I know with a Toyota dealership to advise of my alignment issue. He stated that the alignment was improperly done and that an adjustment needs to be made to my tie rods to align the steering wheel. Something he advised which is standard with any alignment job. In short, two Saturdays lost and a couple hundred dollars later, I learned the hard way to avoid Fields Lexus. Also, good luck to whomever gets Jesse as a service advisor in the future. His title states 'Service Advisor', but this is something he can greatly benefit from additional training on. 9/8/22 Update - I spoke with Anthony on 9/6 and he genuinely seemed concerned and advised me that I would hear back from him or the service manager Tim by 9/7, once they were able to look into the issue. Another service issue with this dealer surprise surprise. My father took his car to this dealer for service at 10am and gave his car to the greeter and sat there with no service done with his car. He called me at 11am stating that no work was being done on the car. He wasn't approached by a service writer when he walked in so he assumed that the appointment stood and they were going to take care of it. Car just sat after someone service noticed. They stated that he should have approached a service person even with a booked appointment. His English skills aren't that great. So if you are sending your parents here make sure you keep tabs on their progress otherwise they will sit there with no work being done. Not sure if this would have happened if his skin color was different as this is in an affluent area. You have a lot of Korean customers guys maybe they don't know how everything works? How about stepping up your service guys? We aren't at the Hyundai or Kia dealership. I've had service issues here before on my personal car. read more

Lexus of Glenview on Waukegan Road first owned by Bredemann and now by the Fields group has the absolute best service department of any dealer I've ever purchased from. Over the past 15 years, we've purchased 5 new Lexus cars and SUVs. here Of course, the sales department is great, they are there to sell. However, service is where this location is OUTSTANDING. Here you will be greeted by friendly courteous knowledgeable service advisers. The transition from Bredemann to Fields was completely transparent. I brought a car in for service and found the same service advisers I had worked with in the past were still there under Fields. And it is the little things too. Like washing the car after any service. My wife brought her car in with a flat tire. I had removed the flat and installed the donut spare, and left the jack and tools loose in the trunk. Not only did the service department repair the tire, but they also INSISTED on removing the donut spare and replacing it with the repaired full-size tire, replacing the donut spare and jack in the proper places secured in the trunk, and, of course, washed the car. And the price for all this was the same as a flat repair at a brand-name tire store! Naturally, it is a good to place to BUY a Lexus, but it is a wonderful place to have one serviced! read more

I have not purchased a car for 18 years ; and was adrift with too much internet data on used cars. I chose Fields Lexus Glenview initially because I went to test drive a used Avalon. The extremely helpful salesman-Al Homer-took the time to offer a test drive for a used Lexus ES 350 which I had never driven and would have wrongly assumed was out of my price range. It turned out to be in immaculate condition and handled beautifully on our test drive. The price was very reasonable for low miles and it was in outstanding condition! Al's intuitive grasp of what I was looking for was outstanding and he never applied pressure to purchase. In addition, I was able to receive a very effective car loan and an excellent 5 year warranty for the car. My experience at this dealership was so outstanding in every respect that my wife will purchase a car from them as well. Horrible service. Condescending and dismissive. Came in for a crack in my bumper and blue tooth issues. I was told the bumper damage was my fault and they would not repair it, and I'd have to take it to a body shop. I asked to speak with the manager, Anthony and asked him to look at the before pictures of the car. After he argued with me and attempted to dismiss me for 10 minutes he finally agreed (haven't really driven the car so I knew I didn't cause damage). I later received a call back saying they reviewed the pictures and were certain the damage wasn't caused by them. HOWEVER, I found pictures in my messages (because I was so excited about my car) of the original screenshots from their website and the crack was there! After providing proof I didn't get an apology, a follow up call or any info about what was going on with the car. I had to call and be brushed off as though I was annoying them. I wish I had enough room to share ALL 10+ of the customer service issues (Ex. Being given a loaner car with an empty gas tank, the sexist comment about me being hit in a grocery store or shopping mall parking lot specifically etc.). But since I don't I will say AVOID AT ALL COST. DO NOT WALK, RUN from fields Lexus! read more

Where do I start with this Lexus dealer, this is by far the worst dealership I have ever been to this place definitely gives Lexus a bad name Lexus corporate really needs to shut this location down if they care about there brand name,Lexus produces great and reliable cars however they really need to revamp there costumer service policy's if they want to compete with there competitors Mercedes and Audi witch treat you like a valued customer wen you go to there dealers, save your self the headache and never step foot in this place, I tried taking my Lexus GS 350 f sport to get a diagnostics test I set up an appointment came one hour early for the appointment I told the guy Marvin at the service desk I was here for a diagnostics and to pick up my loaner he replied why do you need a diagnostics just tell us what's wrong with the car I told him im not a mechanic but there is something wrong with the suspension he replied well it's snowing outside so we can't test drive ur car to check the suspension ur going to have to come back another day I told him ok keep the car and test drive it wen it stops snowing the following day he told me u can't keep the loaner for more than one day, mind u my suspension is out due to Lexus making there electrical wires out of soy the rats chewed threw my electrical suspension wires and ruing my struts and shocks,theres currently a class action lawsuit against them, I told him let me speak to ur manager the manager Anthony who seemed like a nice guy until he started giving me the run around told me to test drive the car with the mechanic to see what's wrong with the suspension I told him is this Lexus I'm dealing with here u guys figure out what's wrong with suspension I have an appointment I drop off the car and u guys tell me what's wrong with it but I said let's go for a test drive then the mechanic denies feeling the shaking coming from the suspension!!! I said this has to be a joke no way I'm at a Lexus dealer it felt like I was dealing with some crooked alley mechanics, he told me he has to put the car on the lift to check the suspension and took me with him in the shop area with the manager he kept insisting there is no problem wen Its clear the suspension is out I told him lift the hood of the car to check under the hood he told me for what the suspension is under the car, he finally lifts the hood and sure enough my electrical suspension wires wire completely damaged by rodents, I told them I should be a mechanic I figured out what the problem is now can u guys please fix it and give me a loaner car , anthony told me they couldn't give me a loaner car because the electrical part takes long to get in!!!!!!!!!! Like that's my problem and they told me to file a claim with my insurance and sent me home without a loaner in a car with no suspension!!!!! A serious danger hazard!!!, I called corporate shortly after and gave me the costumer service manager Sally's phone number, I called her the next day explained to her what happened and she was defending the employees and manager and making excuses for them sending me home in a car with no suspension and electrical damage due to Lexus making there wires out of soy I couldn't believe it!!!! Go to this Lexus dealer if u want to beg and argue to have ur car fixed or checked out and getting a loaner is like pulling teeth with these people, absolutely horrible costumer service!!!! Purchased my vehicle through Bredeman Lexus back in 2018, shortly before Fields purchased the dealership. Even though I'm still due 2 courtesy maintenance AND Fields keeps sending me "complimentary" service reminders, when I call to make an appointment, they state that I'm no longer eligible for the complimentary service. I even escalated to their service manager Anthony who stated: a. I am not eligible for complimentary service any longer (even though they keep sending me emails that I am), b. he stressed that since the last time I brought in the car, they are no longer Bredemen (and not responsible for any promises made when they were), and c. why don't I bring in my car anyway (and pay full price) so they "can introduce me to their reworked team." Huh? No Thanks. Their service has always been pretty good but waaay overpriced. I'll take my car elsewhere and will purchase my next vehicle from either Arlington or Highland Park Lexus - you blew it Anthony. read more
