Jambon sandwich and steak and eggs

I love coming here. The staff is always so great and attentive. The manager is super friendly. She's been there for over 15 years! The French Onion soup is by far the best I've had. The ham sandwich is my go to. One of the best fries in town! Don't miss the desserts. Cute outdoor seating area with plenty of people and dog watching while you brunch. Lastly, I love the fact that they have fresh squeezed juice here. I always go for the grapefruit juice with gin.

I enjoy going out for breakfast or brunch by myself on my days off. The first and last time I came here was about 17 years ago, so I decided to come back and try it again. I was a bit overwhelmed by the large menu, but the female server was very sweet and kind. She explained everything clearly and gave great suggestions based on what I was in the mood for. When I saw the mussels on the menu, I decided to order the small size -- but it was huge! I was honestly shocked. I had to put in some work removing all the shells before eating, but it was totally worth it. I kept dipping bread into the delicious sauce and enjoyed every bite. Their coffee was also very good. I usually don't like Lavazza coffee because I've had it at other places and found it too sour for my taste. But here, it was smooth and well-balanced. I really enjoyed it. I also tried the lemon lime tart. It was excellent: not too sour and not too sweet. It paired perfectly with the coffee. Overall, I had a lovely solo brunch experience.

I enjoyed the fried calamari and steak frites, but service was less attentive than I'd like. The sidewalk patio was cute.

I really wanted to love this place, it's walking distance from my house, so I was rooting for it. My girlfriend and I were looking for somewhere outdoors to have brunch and catch up. She ordered a chai latte, but it had way too much milk. After adding a shot of espresso, it tasted 100x better. I ended up skipping a beverage altogether because I didn't want to be disappointed. Service was pretty mid. No one seemed excited to be there or passionate about the menu, especially when we were asking questions while deciding on dishes. We both ordered the same thing, and the food itself was good, the flavor was definitely there. But overall, I probably wouldn't return. There are just so many options in Los Feliz with great service and quality beverages, so it's hard to justify coming back when the experience was just okay. We didn't go inside, so I can't speak on the interior aesthetic, but sitting outdoors was nice with the little Persian style tables.

Mango Strawberry Gateau and slice of Tropezienne

Figaro Bistrot is a wonderful gem on N. Vermont in the Los Angeles/Los Feliz area. If you're at KP looking for a nearby restaurant to decompress with charming ambiance - this is a terrific find. We had a taste of escargot, followed by Croque Madame with Fries and Croque Monsieur with Caesar salad. For dessert we could not resist the Mango Strawberry Gateau which was flavorful, with a satisfying strawberry puree filling) and slice of Tropezienne (decadent yet divinely light and airy) served with coffee to make for a wonderful culinary experience to please the palate. The best part of any dining experience is the service and everyone here is warm and makes you feel welcome.

I love this cute little bistro. Every time I come in I feel transported to the Left Bank, with its little round tables, wicker chairs and antique mirrors. The extensive menu includes traditional brasserie fare. It's consistently good, unpretentious, and very reasonably priced. Service is friendly and professional. I always have a Soupe à l'Oignon every time I come and it never disappoints. This time I also had a beet & chèvre salad and it was beautifully presented and yummy too. Their patisserie items are all delicious and made fresh daily. I highly recommend the macarons!

It has been a while since last I came hear. Two of my friends and I came here for lunch to celebrate my birthday. I have always been a fan of the ambiance inside Figaro. I ordered the the quiche Lorraine which was absolutely wonderful, the crust was flaky and the filling was really tasty! The caffe filtré which was a perfect accompaniment. The sever was quite nice, however a little harried due to the outdoor tables being so busy. I was pleasantly surprised when I was presented a ginormous slice of my most favorite dessert La Tropezziene with a birthday candle! All and all it is a great locale to relax and share a good meal with friends! I'll be back next time and enjoy a nicely shaped Hendricks gin Martini! Merci Beaucoup!

First of all, love the ambience. I have always loved this neighborhood and outdoor seating was perfect. Sierra was our server and she was awesome ans super attentive with great energy and pretty smile. What really surprised me was the French onion soup. Most of the French restaurants I have tried including ones in France, were not as good as Figaro. It was cheesy, savory and not super salty. Trust me, the saltiness matters. The Figaro burger was delish with the Beef patty cooked perfect as i enjoyed ut, medium rare. And let's not forget the ahi tuna salad... mmMmmmmm yum. We will be back for sue. Perfect dinner to end our Saturday night. Happy, full and satisfied. Highly recommended. Oh my boyfriend's disg, steak and fries. Super tender.

I was looking for a late-night café to grab a macaron and a latte, found this place online, and decided to drive over -- so glad I did! The vibe is amazing. Vintage, French, cozy... they've got it all: food, pastries, drinks, indoor/outdoor seating, even a bar. I loved the dim, warm setting and my latte was perfect. It feels like one of those spots that's been around forever in the best way. I'm sure the food is delicious too -- the menu is huge! So happy I stumbled across this gem.

    Seafood Pasta

Overall, we had a pleasant experience! Our favorite dish had to be the French onion soup. It had the right amount of salt and was super cheesy! Our second favorite would be the seafood pasta with the white wine sauce. It was creamy and balanced well with the seafood! They had a ton of other items on their menu which reminded me a bit like Cheesecake Factory. The escargo was decent but we felt like it could've used some more salt to bring out the other flavors. Otherwise, it was delicious! Garlicky and yummy! Lastly, we ordered the pistachio cheesecake for dessert. Unfortunately, it tasted nothing like pistachios and tasted like a regular graham cracker crusted cheesecake, hence the four star instead of a five. Service was decent! At times it was a bit difficult to get a hold of our server but it was probably because we weren't seated near a lot of the other customers. The restaurant gives cafe vibes and has a lot of seating inside along with a bar! Parking can be difficult to find since they only have street parking and it is on a busy street.

Figaro hit the spot on a rainy LA Sunday. Perfect service. Perfect atmosphere. It felt like I was transported to a cafe in Paris. I'm still dreaming about the French onion soup.

Just stopped here for a quick meal of a soda and some fries. I think the prices are kinda high but again it for the tourist to stop you see the outside and you wanna sit down overall food looked really good and the fries I got were good.

    happy hour 'mini' figaro burger
    Coria L.

I met up with some friends here on Monday, January 12th. I got there a little around 6:30pm and it was pretty packed which makes sense because they have a pretty long and great happy hour. I ordered a sparkling rose for $8 off their happy hour menu and was pretty happy with my choice. I knew it wasn't going to be top shelf sparkling but it was very easy to drink and wasn't too sweet. I also ordered an order of escargot for $10 off their happy hour to go with the wine and, honestly, that was all I was going to order. Fast forward to two other rounds of drinks later and an order of their 'mini' Figaro burger----the table next to me had ordered it and it looked delicious and wasn't mini at all so I knew I had to get it. The mini burger was like a regular sized burger and I asked for the bacon to be on the side and add tomatoes. There was a slight mix-up because our server was so busy---it didn't come with the tomatoes I requested and the bacon was inside my burger but it wasn't that big of an issue for $12. My friends ordered red wine, ravioli, hummus, and chicken wings---all on the happy hour menu. Seriously, their happy hour menu is extensive and one of the best I've seen. I took off one star because our table was super wobbly (I thought my drink might have tipped over at certain points) and one of the staff members came up and asked if they could use one of our tables (there were 3 of us so we had 2 small tables), which is fine, but then after I moved off the table and we all squished into one small table, no one even sat there. Our server, Sammy (shout out to him), was extremely busy and still served our table with an amazing personality. I usually don't hang out in Los Feliz but if I am ever in the area, I would definitely come back for their happy hour.

I also tried the pistachio croissant and asparagus danish this time round and both were extremely good as well. I would have no qualms with re-ordering either. The only note is the pistachio cream is pretty runny, so it's hard to cut and share, as the cream just oozes out. The workers there are super friendly and kind. I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off.
