    Truffle Fries

Food: ~3ish/5 the quiche was not as firm as I would have liked...I assumed that's how they're made here, maybe slightly undercooked? It was just ok. My friend had the omelette figaro and said it was just ok. The side of fries was honestly the best part, really crispy and flavorful. Service: Server was attentive and checked on us often after it took a minute to initially greet us. Food came out quickly. Ambiance: 4/5 feels like you're sitting in a French cafe, a bit loud when crowded since tables are so close to one another. The seating situation outside feels cluttered and awkward.

I love coming here. The staff is always so great and attentive. The manager is super friendly. She's been there for over 15 years! The French Onion soup is by far the best I've had. The ham sandwich is my go to. One of the best fries in town! Don't miss the desserts. Cute outdoor seating area with plenty of people and dog watching while you brunch. Lastly, I love the fact that they have fresh squeezed juice here. I always go for the grapefruit juice with gin.

I enjoy going out for breakfast or brunch by myself on my days off. The first and last time I came here was about 17 years ago, so I decided to come back and try it again. I was a bit overwhelmed by the large menu, but the female server was very sweet and kind. She explained everything clearly and gave great suggestions based on what I was in the mood for. When I saw the mussels on the menu, I decided to order the small size -- but it was huge! I was honestly shocked. I had to put in some work removing all the shells before eating, but it was totally worth it. I kept dipping bread into the delicious sauce and enjoyed every bite. Their coffee was also very good. I usually don't like Lavazza coffee because I've had it at other places and found it too sour for my taste. But here, it was smooth and well-balanced. I really enjoyed it. I also tried the lemon lime tart. It was excellent: not too sour and not too sweet. It paired perfectly with the coffee. Overall, I had a lovely solo brunch experience.

Figaro doesn't skip a beat, consistently delicious and the service is spot on. Yummy food and drinks and the best people watching in LA. Owner is a great guy and I'll be back to try breakfast, crab cakes melt in your mouth.

I really wanted to love this place, it's walking distance from my house, so I was rooting for it. My girlfriend and I were looking for somewhere outdoors to have brunch and catch up. She ordered a chai latte, but it had way too much milk. After adding a shot of espresso, it tasted 100x better. I ended up skipping a beverage altogether because I didn't want to be disappointed. Service was pretty mid. No one seemed excited to be there or passionate about the menu, especially when we were asking questions while deciding on dishes. We both ordered the same thing, and the food itself was good, the flavor was definitely there. But overall, I probably wouldn't return. There are just so many options in Los Feliz with great service and quality beverages, so it's hard to justify coming back when the experience was just okay. We didn't go inside, so I can't speak on the interior aesthetic, but sitting outdoors was nice with the little Persian style tables.

I love this cute little bistro. Every time I come in I feel transported to the Left Bank, with its little round tables, wicker chairs and antique mirrors. The extensive menu includes traditional brasserie fare. It's consistently good, unpretentious, and very reasonably priced. Service is friendly and professional. I always have a Soupe à l'Oignon every time I come and it never disappoints. This time I also had a beet & chèvre salad and it was beautifully presented and yummy too. Their patisserie items are all delicious and made fresh daily. I highly recommend the macarons!

It has been a while since last I came hear. Two of my friends and I came here for lunch to celebrate my birthday. I have always been a fan of the ambiance inside Figaro. I ordered the the quiche Lorraine which was absolutely wonderful, the crust was flaky and the filling was really tasty! The caffe filtré which was a perfect accompaniment. The sever was quite nice, however a little harried due to the outdoor tables being so busy. I was pleasantly surprised when I was presented a ginormous slice of my most favorite dessert La Tropezziene with a birthday candle! All and all it is a great locale to relax and share a good meal with friends! I'll be back next time and enjoy a nicely shaped Hendricks gin Martini! Merci Beaucoup!

First of all, love the ambience. I have always loved this neighborhood and outdoor seating was perfect. Sierra was our server and she was awesome ans super attentive with great energy and pretty smile. What really surprised me was the French onion soup. Most of the French restaurants I have tried including ones in France, were not as good as Figaro. It was cheesy, savory and not super salty. Trust me, the saltiness matters. The Figaro burger was delish with the Beef patty cooked perfect as i enjoyed ut, medium rare. And let's not forget the ahi tuna salad... mmMmmmmm yum. We will be back for sue. Perfect dinner to end our Saturday night. Happy, full and satisfied. Highly recommended. Oh my boyfriend's disg, steak and fries. Super tender.

I enjoyed the fried calamari and steak frites, but service was less attentive than I'd like. The sidewalk patio was cute.

I was looking for a late-night café to grab a macaron and a latte, found this place online, and decided to drive over -- so glad I did! The vibe is amazing. Vintage, French, cozy... they've got it all: food, pastries, drinks, indoor/outdoor seating, even a bar. I loved the dim, warm setting and my latte was perfect. It feels like one of those spots that's been around forever in the best way. I'm sure the food is delicious too -- the menu is huge! So happy I stumbled across this gem.

Mango Strawberry Gateau and slice of Tropezienne

Figaro Bistrot is a wonderful gem on N. Vermont in the Los Angeles/Los Feliz area. If you're at KP looking for a nearby restaurant to decompress with charming ambiance - this is a terrific find. We had a taste of escargot, followed by Croque Madame with Fries and Croque Monsieur with Caesar salad. For dessert we could not resist the Mango Strawberry Gateau which was flavorful, with a satisfying strawberry puree filling) and slice of Tropezienne (decadent yet divinely light and airy) served with coffee to make for a wonderful culinary experience to please the palate. The best part of any dining experience is the service and everyone here is warm and makes you feel welcome.

    Seafood Pasta
    Tiffany H.

Overall, we had a pleasant experience! Our favorite dish had to be the French onion soup. It had the right amount of salt and was super cheesy! Our second favorite would be the seafood pasta with the white wine sauce. It was creamy and balanced well with the seafood! They had a ton of other items on their menu which reminded me a bit like Cheesecake Factory. The escargo was decent but we felt like it could've used some more salt to bring out the other flavors. Otherwise, it was delicious! Garlicky and yummy! Lastly, we ordered the pistachio cheesecake for dessert. Unfortunately, it tasted nothing like pistachios and tasted like a regular graham cracker crusted cheesecake, hence the four star instead of a five. Service was decent! At times it was a bit difficult to get a hold of our server but it was probably because we weren't seated near a lot of the other customers. The restaurant gives cafe vibes and has a lot of seating inside along with a bar! Parking can be difficult to find since they only have street parking and it is on a busy street.

My first trip to Petit Trois was terrific. My partner and I sat at the counter inside, enjoyed friendly and informative conversation with the chef and staff, and had an outstanding meal. My second trip was a different story. We decided to sit outside this time to enjoy the summer evening weather and...boy was that a mistake. Our table was swarmed with flies the entire evening. At first, it was a minor nuisance, but as the food arrived, it became comically overwhelming. I did see another table that was supplied with a small table fan to shoo away the insect guests, but we were afforded no such courtesy. We ended up giving up on our meal because the flies had caked our entrees. The high price for the meal that felt so worth it on our first trip felt hilariously inappropriate for our a meal that was predominantly enjoyed by flies. Lesson learned and hopefully other readers can benefit from our mistake!

That said, the restaurant has a really lovely atmosphere. It feels cozy, elegant, and very French-inspired. We were able to find street parking without much trouble. Here's our experience dish by dish: Black Sesame Parker House Rolls Served with salted butter. The bread was tasty and I enjoyed it, but honestly, I've had better bread at other restaurants. Still, a solid starter and definitely worth trying. ** 7/10** Blue Prawns These were good and had nice flavor, but for the price, I didn't think they were worth it. ** 6.5/10** Spaghetti Bolognese Savory and rich with good flavor, but the pasta was served quite al dente. The chicken was fine, but the flavor was just okay for me. Nothing particularly memorable. ** 6/10** Sweet Potato Gratin -- My Favorite! This was actually the dish I enjoyed the most! If you like **sweet potato + cheese**, I think you'll really enjoy this. The combination was delicious and comforting. My husband didn't like it as much because he thought it was a little too oily, but personally, this was the standout dish for me. ** 8/10** Melona Parfait -- SKIP THIS This was probably the biggest disappointment of the meal. There were four of us, and **none of us liked it**. It was overly sweet and had a somewhat strange flavor that was difficult to describe. I honestly couldn't figure out exactly what I was tasting. For me, this was one of the worst desserts I've had at a restaurant. Definitely wouldn't order it again. ** 2/10** Overall The **ambiance and service were definitely the highlights**. The restaurant feels cozy, upscale, and French-inspired, and the staff provided great service. Unfortunately, considering the prices, I expected the food to be more impressive. A few dishes were enjoyable, but overall, I didn't feel the food matched the price point. **Would I come back?** Probably for the atmosphere and maybe a few specific dishes, but I wouldn't rush back for the food alone.

The assortment of ingredients was perfect. Service was friendly but our server was running around with a large section. Our wines did not come out until after the food was delivered, and the appetizers were not coursed. I don't blame her for the lack of service as she was doing her best. The buss boys were really nice and helpful and we were able to ask for help as needed.

Always wanted to try this french restaurant and finally was invited by my family for donner…read more Very chill spot and perfect for a intimate date night. Overall this restaurant layout was pretty cool and the night we went the noise level was moderate but I can see that if its packed this place could get loud. They offer outdoor seating as well that looked cozy. Our waiter and his team was very attentive and always made sure we had what we needed so service was exceptional. Food is always an area that I leave up to everyone's own taste. To me I felt some of the dishes needed more salt but I always enjoy my food from how the chef prepped it so I can try new dishes.

The bread was amazing, the salad was delicious, and the steak was perfectly cooked. The entire meal felt well executed from start to finish. Our server was attentive and kind, and the hostess was also incredibly welcoming. Great food, wonderful service, and a beautiful atmosphere. We really enjoyed our evening and would definitely come back!

Really disappointing experience at Camphor…read more We specifically asked about corkage when we arrived and were told it was $50 per bottle with a two-bottle maximum. Later in the evening, we opened a third bottle. No one came over to warn us or tell us there would be a different charge. Then the bill arrived with a $100 corkage fee for the third bottle. What bothered me most was that the manager admitted they had seen us open it. So they knew at the time, but instead of simply coming over and saying, "Just so you know, the third bottle is $100," they waited until the end of dinner to tell us. When I asked where this policy was disclosed, the manager kept saying it was their "policy" and mentioned a handbook, but couldn't actually show us anything. We spent around $2,000 that night, so this was not about an extra $50. It was the way it was handled. The whole thing felt unnecessarily sneaky and left a really bad taste in our mouths. The food itself was also pretty forgettable for a restaurant with this reputation. Unfortunately, I would not come back.
