First off congrats to Joe as we have known him from a couple other restaurants . Very happy he has his own place now!! Restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. The service was excellent! Jayne was very attentive! Following are a couple of comments that are only constructive criticisms. They should not keep you from trying Figmor. First, the bagle with cream cheese and cucumber came with barely a spread of cream cheese. Jayne corrected it immediately when told and she promptly brought more to the table. Second, the ham in the cheese and ham breakfast sandwich was very salty and I would have liked a choice of cheese; I don't care for American processed cheese. Lastly, the breakfast sandwich , can't remember which one, was supposed to have tomatoes on it and it was missing. Just some quirks in the kitchen that need to be ironed out. Overall, try Figmor! My husband and I had brunch at Figmor this past Sunday. It's an very nice place decorated with Golden Girls paraphernalia. The service was top notch - coffee was filled. I had the Marika (lemon ricotta & blueberry pancakes) and my husband had corn beef hash and eggs with rye toast. The pancakes were delicious! My husband was impressed with the rye toast and then got into the corned beef hash - the beef is the real deal! No canned mush here. The owner, Joey, is a great man who has done a wonderful thing in opening this great place! read more

My sister took me there for my birthday. It was our first time. The atmosphere was so peaceful and friendly. The food was done perfect. We had breakfast and the eggs were just right and the homemade rye toast was perfect. The home fries weren't greasy and done just right. We'll definitely be going back read more

Been there several times for breakfast. Staff was friendly, service was fast, owner was jovial. Absolutely going back

Walked in, no one greeted us or told us to wait to be seated. so we grabbed 2 chairs at the empty bar. Which was fine, the company I was with was pleasant. No one at the bar, no one greeting anyone at the door. 15 minutes later, someone said oh hi, so and so will be right with you. No problem, we were chatting away. Another 10 minutes or so goes by, we decided to leave. Still no one at the entrance, a group of police officers at a table for 6 were getting their coffee refilled, we were within eyesight of the server, no acknowledgement. As we are at the door, an older server came up and said please let me wait on you. I felt bad for her; obviously understaffed which is odd since your major competitor is closed on Mondays. Anyways, we passed. Meanwhile, 2 elderly people were in the small doorway waiting to be acknowledge, the gentleman barely able to stand wasn't even offered a chair while they waited. Can't comment on the food but the ambiance was nice at the bar; used Monin product so I'm sure it would have been delicious. read more

Had breakfast there today and it was delicious. Great menu, I almost didn't notice that there was more choices on the back. I was pleased with the prices and the service was great. Stopped in for lunch midweek around 1pm. No wait. I loved the cozy and welcoming front room and the wonderful waitress Jane. Had the huevos rancheros with eggs over easy, and the food came out quickly and tasted wonderful. Eggs were done just right, and the rest was seasoned perfectly. Sour dough toast on the side was just the thing to mop up the last of the egg yolks. You can tell that the owner Joey takes pride in this restaurant!! Wishing him all the best for the future and really looking forward to sitting on the patio when summer finally gets here!! read more

I don't know what the big fuss is with this restaurant there are plenty of breakfast places around the area. We went there on a Sunday morning waited an hour to get in we ordered our eggs were drier than heck gave you one slice of toast and charge you a fortune for what they served you there are plenty of other choices around the area for breakfast. Went to try out on a Sunday, so expected a bit of a wait. Was told 30/40 mins wait and it ended up being a bit quicker! The service was fantastic and I get the impression the employees are just on it, anytime we needed something we didn't have to ask. If a table opened up it was bussed and sat efficiently. Have to say I'm impressed being that it's a brand new restaurant. Great vibes and food was fantastic. I absolutely love a breakfast/brunch place with unique options that aren't only fun but delicious. Went with coffee today but will have to try some of their many mimosa flavors another time for sure. We had a huevos rancheros skillet, and pulled pork eggs Benny (forgot the official menu name but definitely try it). Big flavor in each. Pretty substantial menu with traditional options as well. I already said it will be hard not to order the same things because of how good they were but definitely looking forward to coming back and trying other menu items! Lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes, eggs benedict with spinach and tomatoes, and avocado toast on sourdough topped with scrambled eggs were ordered. Wow - what a refreshing experience here! The food is the best we have ever had in a breakfast/brunch/lunch type restaurant in the whole Buffalo area. We've been back three times, and each time did not disappoint! The soups were top notch - one in particular was a sausage soup. Mimosas are a super nice touch. Delicious herb type salad which is so fresh and bursting with flavor! Pancakes are like those I once had in an expensive French Restaurant in NYC. All of the sauces, flavors and ingredients in everything we have tried so far is so flavorful and fresh. My compliments to the chef and the owner, Joey himself (who we met) for creating a much-needed spot like this to eat with freshly made choices. Bravo! read more
