I personally got the garlic Parm and honey barbecue and highly recommend both but they let me try any of the flavors that I wanted to try, which is really nice before ordering. You can even mix the sauces together. I got the cajan fries which I also liked the seasoning. The staff is really friendly and they have plenty of TVs and beers on tap. They have decent outdoor patio seating. Bathroom were nice too. In addition, happy hour menu was really good and their daily specials were good. I went on a Tuesday, so I was able to get the lunch special for dinner. They have monthly wing flavors and monthly food specials. I kept hearing about this place from several people, both meat eaters and vegans alike, and we decided to give it a try for dinner. This was one of the OG places that offered a vegan option, so I was very enticed by them. Unfortunately, I learned that night that seitan is not my favorite meat substitute. My boyfriend got the boneless tenders, & I got 9 seitan wings. It was a very hefty portion of wings, and I probably should have gotten 6, but my eyes were bigger than my stomach! The sauces were great - I tried their sauce of the month & the raspberry habanero sauces, which were both flavorful and spicy. However, I realized I just did not like the texture of seitan, and likely wouldn't come back here. I also found them to be quite expensive, as the entrees were $15 each not including any sides. The place was packed - the host said there would be a 40-minute wait, and having already searched the neighborhood for parking, we decided to stick around. Only 19 minutes had elapsed, so we had to chug our beers and hurry back over. Upon being seated, we were surprised to find out the service was fast-casual style where you order and pay at the counter and take a number. So no sipping beers while perusing the menu, unless you want to wait in line more than once. I decided to try the seitan wings with Jamaican jerk sauce - this combo was approved by both the order taker and the food runner - as well as the breaded cauliflower wings with chipotle bourbon sauce. The seitan was a strange texture unlike any seitan I've tried before...chewy and more grainy, like tempeh, but not bad. I preferred the cauliflower wings. The jerk sauce was a definite winner. I love FOTM. I have been to this location once prior to quarantine and once afterward. It's a big space, and ordering is more comfortable than the other location (though that's not an issue now). They have a nice selection of beers, and I already knew I liked their food. I tend to get the same thing every time: seitan wings (occasionally chicken tenders) with thai peanut sauce. I like the buffalo sauce too, but that peanut sauce I CRAVE. Cauliflower bites are good, as are the fries. But since the food is rather heavy, why fill up on those when there are wings with peanut sauce to be eaten? FOTM is an occasional treat. I can't eat fried seitan or french fries or tots all the time. But when I do, this hits the spot. Alright, I'll start by saying this: I'm a huge believer in this place, and I will continue to be moving forward. I have a previous 5 star review that I stand by, and I've had multiple five star experiences here. Sauces were great, service was great, wings were hot and ready on time. Order was correct. Food was delicious. When I got home and opened the box, I was somewhat shocked at the amount of food included. Yes, there were 36 wings. They were also the smallest wings I've ever seen. I know y'all do free range ethical chicken and that means inconsistency and I love that, but I've also seen owners/managers saying that when the wings are small, y'all try to throw in a couple extra. Not that big a deal on nine wings if they're small (margins and all), but when I'm trying to feed four people nine wings each and each portion is tiny, that's kinda tough. We all ended up ordering extra food. I get it, things are tough. I'm a really big fan of the wings, the service, the vibe here. I'm trusting that this was a bad day. We've been going to FOTM for years, and have been extremely disappointed with this location for quite some time, but this location is closer to home so alas, we keep going back. Unfortunately, the boneless wings have become smaller and smaller and most recently I swear there was almost no meat it was just breading . They used to be large tenders and now they are smaller than the fried pickle spears!!! One extra star because the manager was great and even gave us a giftcard to try and make things right. We took the giftcard to the original highlands location as a last attempt before finding a new wing place... The highlands location is where it's at!!! Wish we would've taken a picture to compare. I didn't know what to expect with ordering or the seating but we were their and waited the 40 mins for a table. There really isn't much space to grab drinks while you're waiting but we did grab a drink and tucked ourselves out of the way best we could. I wanted to try the bone in wings since they are my fav but there weren't any basket options to get fries, sides. So I went with the boneless and it was just a crispy chicken tender. Granted the garlic parm sauce I got was legit delicious! The fries were a bit over cooked but they came with ranch and there were a lot of them in the basket.
