I wanted to take my friends and family from Louisiana our for something other than cracker barrel or Waffle House. The food was inline with the rest of the franchise...which means it was great. We kind of fell through the cracks on getting a server though. No server came after like 20 minutes so we asked a server as they were walking by for drinks. They did bring the drinks and never returned. We were patient and give it 15-20 then went and asked the hostess who our waitress is and send her over. It went a lot smoother after that. Food was good. Doesn't blow your socks off, but they try hard and it appears the chef is probably college trained and puts a gourmet touch to it. Third time ordering take out I was so specific and they always get it wrong. I asked grilled onions instead of tomatoes , they game me tomatoes no grilled onions and charged me for it. Overall a good brunch place. There bread and homemade jam is sooooo good. Probably my favorite thing from there. I got a skillet and it was pretty good just felt like it was missing flavor. I would also say that the wait to get your food is so long. We waiting 35 minutes to be seated which is fine but once we were seated we waited 30 min just to get our food. Eddie and I went a few times and everytime I tried something new and loved it. Very tasty, friendly and clean place to eat.

First time visitor. Close to all shopping areas. Nice decor, could use a little sweeping. Good crowd, checked in via Yelp so there was absolutely no wait time when we arrived. Waitress came right away and was very polite. Had the herbal Chamomile citrus tea and "the works" omelette. Wife had the "Eggs Benedict" the sauce was a little off but overall good. Second time eating at a First Watch, first time eating at this location on Garth. Kendra was our waitress and she was amazing!!! The drinks were perfect and our food was delicious!!! Perfect place to brunch, they have all my favorites. Mimosas, fresh delicious healthy foods, special juices and today Kendra made our dining experience a fun one! Amazing food! Service is seriously lacking. I could come into this place and run circles around the waitstaff! I even stacked all of my trash and empty plates on the edge of my table, and the server walked passed it at least four times. The cashier didn't say a word to my mother as she paid the bill. So. First time visiting First Watch. Didn't even know the place existed until searching breakfast on maps. The start of our adventure was pleasant. We were greeted at the door. Told the wait was 45 minutes . We gave our number to be texted when our table was ready. It was only like 10 minutes. I was impressed. This is where things take a turn. We told our server this was our first time visiting. Little back info, I've worked in the food/restaurant business for around 20 years . I'm pretty much very forgiving when going to restaurants. But the fact our server had no menu knowledge or anything to excite or sale us on this visit .. was a little disappointing. Although after we struggled for 5 minutes trying to scan over the many different drinks on the menu, she informed us that a lot of people liked some watermelon drink. So we asked to get one . We ordered coffee, iced coffee, and a soda as well. Somewhere along the line someone got confused and we didn't get one. Waited nearly an hour for our food. Okay , so what things have been worse at other restaurant experiences. They're lucky though that my terrorist of a toddler was at peace . Things could've gotten ugly for the whole establishment . The thing that just was end game was the food. Portions are small for the price of $10 and up. Food looks great just no flavor at all. Then ... the food wasn't even lukewarm. My over easy eggs were hard boiled. The veggie mix in my food was complete mush . Toast was hard as a brick that even the butter didn't melt. The only star I will give was for cleanliness and the waffle! (Not worth the $10 price though) it was slightly warm. But the jelly/sauce they give with it is amazing . All in all , probably won't go back. If I'm going to spend $60 on a two person breakfast with a toddler.. I'm gonna go to a restaurant that delivers a bang for their buck. read more

This was our second time visiting this location. The food is great and we assumed we just caught them on an off day the first visit. We were seated quickly and our server took our order quickly and brought our coffee out fast. It went downhill from there. Our order took over 40 minutes after multiple times checking. After it finally arrived our 2 kids' meals took another 10 minutes. I spoke to a manager, but we will not be returning to this location. read more

Excited to eat here since I've had it in other locations and loved it. This experience was much different. Server was very kind but took a long while for food to finally arrive. When it did you would expect it to be overcooked, if anything, for how long it took. Instead - it was all UNDERcooked. I ordered the skillet farmhouse hash and my boyfriend had the traditional breakfast. Everything on his plate was underdone- his potatoes were hard, his bacon was floppy and chewy, and his toast was practically just a slice of bread on the plate. My toast was also just a slice of bread with butter. I asked for poached eggs: one was completely hard boiled and the other was soft boiled -- I would've asked for them to take my plate back if my boyfriend had not given me his own runny eggs. The only good experience I can take away was that the iced coffee was good and the server was kind. A lot of wasted potential here and disappointing to say the least.
