I ordered a double cheese burger and was served a little cheese burger. I told the cashier and she asked if I just wanted a second patty or a whole new burger. After I said I wanted a whole new burger she did nothing. So my bf went up and asked again. And she said well what do you want on it... um the same thing I ordered originally. So then my remake was called up and low and behold they forgot the mayo. So what do they do? They gave my bf a side of mayo and a knife for him to put it on. So I went back up to the cashier and said I wanted my money back and I wanted to speak to the manager. She said she was the manager and proceeded to refund me with out acknowledging my complaint... took her 10 minutes to give me my cash back. All the whole never once apologizing or offering any sort of customer service. So my family and I left. I'm disgusted with the service. if I could give no stars, I would. I went in for lunch with my daughter. She ordered a cheeseburger w/ mustard, ketchup and pickles, fries and a chocolate shake; I ordered a hot dog and a peanut butter shake. when our order was done, we went to the pick up counter, our milkshakes weren't there and the short cook asked if he could help us, I asked for our shakes, he snottily pointed toward the guy that took our order and with a bungholio attitude told us "over there".. milkshake/order taker guy was cool and said they were almost done. A few mins later we were off.. when we got back to work, my daughter opened the foil for her burger and the cheese had melted out of the burger and was now part of the foil and it was packed with mushrooms. when I opened my hot dog, it too had mushrooms.. not only can't the little short, snotty, bungholio cook not read an order but he sucks.. it was the first time there and we will never go to this Five Guys on Cottle Rd ever again.. no wonder there was only two other people in the place beside the order guy and the short, bungholio cook when we walked in.. it should have been a major sign of not to go there.. read more

This 5 guys is great . Same good food but the staff sets it apart from the others. They are super friendly and give great service! Also it is the first to offer milk shakes and they are delicious! !! I tried the peanut butter and caramel and loved every sip. I would recommend any one to try them out and I will personally continue to eat here. Keep it up 5 guys =) read more

I used to come to five guys a lot more often before but still come once in a while. The burgers are good and messy just they way i like them! Like the old Carl's jr ads, "if it doesnt get all over the place, it doesnt belong in your face" anyways today ibwent again and i was surprised to see the buns either got fluffier or they just didnt grill them because the bunds were cold and a little too much bread this time. My kids loved them as did i asided for the extra bun fluff. I like to add all the goodies specially mushroom and grilled jalapeños. Not bad for burgers, do like in-n-out better tho, animal style fries! read more

Twice that I got burgers from this place, there was not much taste or flavor, it's missing salt or seasoning. I will try it again, but would be nice to have little more flavor for sure. Fries are good and huge actually, we get one for two people which is more than enough. read more

Been here plenty of times and was pretty good all around. This last time however was less than. There was 2 of us and both orders were wrong. They were out of a standard flavor in both self serve soft drink machines. When i asked if they had any back there he never answered but said someone will fill the machines. By the time the order was ready i asked if it was all done and i was told then well he's going to do it after he does other stuff first. No more peanuts for customers either. No bags open and no trays. They didn't have any answer about this. The meal was edible but it used to be a lot better before. Hope this isn't the new standard for this place. read more

Looooove Five Guys!! My favorite thing is the amount of fries you get, they always throw in an extra scoop. The burgers are always so delicious and jam packed with toppings. To top that off, our cashier was super nice. Her name was Mayra. She was bubbly and outgoing and got our orders perfect. I have an odd food allergy so I always have to modify my order, she got everything I wanted and nothing I didn't! This place has good fries and decent service. Sadly their burgers are not very good and it's very noisy inside. That being said I can only give them 3 stars because they're OK but not amazing. The quotes on the walls about their "always fresh" food seemed a bit pretentious to me, but that could just be me. This is more 3 1/2 stars. I usually won't go here alone to eat but my kids seem to love five guys. This location is pretty clean and parking is plenty. It's not that busy at this location which is nice. The burgers are ok and they cook and dress the burger how you want. Tons of fries!! You'll def go home with a bag full. Everything tastes fresh which is always a plus. Just curious but do they call it five guys because there's always just 5 people working? All the times I've gone there were just five people working. The excitement has worn off. The quality of the food has quickly degraded. I'm not impressed anymore. Last time we got a chocolate malt, bad, was not mixed at all. This time the fries were under-seasoned, and they didn't put any BBQ sauce on my burger (even though it was selected). The burger itself didn't have the right flavor. I got the cheese dog- crappy hot dog with w/ crappy piece of non melted American cheese- I was expecting a cheese sauce. I came to the restaurant at 9:55pm. I understand that this time is very close to closing, but how can you serve food to other people and not us? There were two people inside the restaurant that looked like customers, but told me they were closed. The workers then looked at each other and told me that they closed at 10pm. So I went across the street to get food and when I walk back, the two people that told me they were closed were eating? Whether or not they were worker or customers, but are you going to deny someone to buy food but then Serve someone else. This location needs to find closers are want to do their job. This is ridiculous just because this situation could have easily been resolved. read more

I love Five Guys! For me, this is a much better old fashioned style hamburger than any other chain, including In-N-Out (which I like also). I have been to a few locations in the past and liked the food. I took the family to this location a couple of months ago and had a really bad experience. The burger was cold and came apart in my hand. The fries were soggy. We were in a hurry and had to leave. The next day I provided feedback on the corporate website but this was never acknowledged. As a result I will avoid this chain in the future. Quite poor when compared to all the other options available. read more

Two stars because I enjoy food. Fortunately and unfortunately this is the closest one to my house. I placed my order online AT LEAST 20 mins before walking in to pick up. I gave the lady at the milkshake station my name and she began to prepare my shakes immediately. 30 minutes or so pass by, more than 6 people have walked in ordered their food, and left before me. I'm standing, waiting, my shakes are melting and im trying to figure out why ordering online does has no benefits or priority at this location. They do not start working in and completing online orders based on the order they were received at all. This isn't the first time I placed an order and had to wait a bit for my order. I'm not a brat, I understand it's a busy Friday evening and that food rush is going to happen. But this is the worst, I could literally see 4 of the 6 people working on the French fry station, one in register and one at the shake station. Don't know who manages this place but it needs work. I'm certain that if I had just ordered upon arrival I would have saved myself a half hour. Won't come to this location again any time soon. read more

If your looking for a beefy delicious fast food burger, this is the place! I thought In and Out Burger was good but Five Guys blows them out of the water. The staff is friendly and quick. Placed an order on their website to be picked up at 5:20 p.m. When I got there, there were 2 workers (1 male/1 female) asked me if I wanted to p;ace an order. Told them I had placed on on their website. Said they didn't have my order. Told me to hold on and they would check on it. A few minutes later they called out to someone in the back room and she went to the register and pulled up the order. The young man apologized and offered me a water while I waited. Once my order did come up, I took it home and it was wrong. I had asked for a Bacon Cheeseburger and Hot Dog. Got the Hot Dog, but got a regular Cheeseburger. The cheese was a big clump in the middle of the patty, and my daughter said for $7.00 it was no better than a cheeseburger from McDonalds. The bun was a soggy, gooey mess. At least the Hot Dog was good. Will we ever go back.....probably not. Wanted to try something new and closer to home (less than 2 miles), but it looks like for the price, we'll stick with Juicy Burger. read more

This was my first experience with Five Guys, and given the extended debate that wages amongst my friends about whether Five Guys or In-N-Out is better I went into the experience with an open but evaluative mindset. The burger was tasty, if a bit bland, and the fries were very good. Ultimately, the quality was higher than In-N-Out Burger, but the price was significantly higher as well. It seems as though Five Guys is trying to straddle the line between a cheap fast food place, and a quality Burger establishment. As with most places that strive to reach the middle, the result is overpriced and underwhelming. Also, I was turned off by the posted reviews all over the walls; it seems very self-congratulatory. Perhaps they are ranked the best burger in cities where the only other option is that clown with golden arches, but this is in California: if you want a cheap burger, stick with In-N-Out, if you want a good burger go to The Habit. read more
