The service was attentive and thoughtful and the ambiance was amazing, with the restaurant being located in a former bank. The ambiance was very grand and upscale. I ordered the Market Table Buffet plan. The meal includes a variety of food like smoked salmon, cold cuts of meat, cheese, and chicken salad. It was very filling and actually had great value! It is meant to imitate Brazilian Market ingredients, and each food was fresh and high quality. I have to agree with other reviewers that this location is the least favorite of all fogo de chao locations in Los Angeles. We dined here with a party of five and we left not very pleased with the experience. First and foremost is the inconvenience with the parking situation. From the parking lot, you have to take the elevator and upon exit, you get to follow the never ending arrows pointing to where the entrance is. You literally have to go around and I don't understand why can't they put an entrance from where the parking lot is. For someone who has mobility issues, it was definitely a struggle to get to the entrance. Can we add also the fact that they don't validate even after we spent a fortune for the churrasco experience that cost a whopping $48.50 per person? The MARKET TABLE & FEIJOADA BAR has pretty good selections and fair price of $18 per person. I enjoyed Fresh seasonal salads, exotic vegetables, aged cheeses, smoked salmon, cured meats, seasonal soup, Fogo feijoada (traditional black bean stew with sausage) served with rice, fresh orange, farofa (baked yuca flour with bacon), and more. The churrasco was so-so. We weren't impressed cuz we found the meat to be not freshly cooked. It might be because we arrived close to 2pm when lunchtime was already ending. We were probably served with leftover meat. There was no lamb available either. We left very unhappy and I personally won't be coming back to this location. read more

My Aunt was in town for a few days. We are both pescatarians. I decided to treat her to the best market salad bar offering I know. This location is beautiful because of the architecture and ceiling design of the original building. I've been to a couple other Fogo de Chao locations, and this one I would say is my least favorite. I came in on a Sunday evening with a large group, and since we had a reservation we were seated pretty quickly. The guy who took our drink orders was great. I ordered the Brazilian cocktail in the passion fruit flavor, and it was delicious. Our table went with the full dinner experience, which gives us access to their market bar in the middle of the restaurant. The servers we had weren't as attentive as we wanted. For those of us who were seated more on the opposite end of the table, we were continuously ignored whenever we tried to get their attention to ask for things like water or the dessert menu. Even the ones who were bringing around the meats, they would bring the meats to one side, but then turn around and walk away to the next table without seeing that the ones on the other side of our table wanted a cut. The meats didn't feel as tender as I've had at other locations, and I think the only one that made an impression on me this visit were the ribs that came with lime slices, which is not what usually stands out to me. Usually my favorite from Fogo is the Picanha, but this time it didn't impress me like it usually does. It didn't have that melt-in-your-mouth feel, and it was only luke warm by the time it go to our table. The pineapple was always a special request, but usually the pineapple would also be brought out on a skewer and cut at the table. At this location, they precut it for you onto a plate. The cuts were also really thin, and were more like slivers. The cinnamon didn't look or taste like it was roasted with the pineapple either, but rather sprinkled on after the pineapple was cut as well. Fogo is usually our go-to restaurant for special occasions, and we were excited to see that the Pasadena location is now open since it would now be the closest location to us. Unfortunately, our experience here wasn't as great as what we've had at other locations, so it was a disappointing visit. read more

Hi, I live near Fogo de Chão and had never been there...until three weeks ago. Since that time I have visited the restaurant four times and have enjoyed it every single time! All members of the service staff are absolutely wonderful. This last time we had a great experience working with Roy and I want to give him a big thumbs up. Their happy hour runs all day long and the prices are incredible...AND the food and drinks are exceptional (especially the lamb chops)! In addition, they have an amazing salad bar that costs only $18 before 3 PM. i've brought lots of friends there recently, and they all swear they're going to go back! Check it out!! read more

What has happened to this place? The experience here was terrible. Came here for my birthday. Expected it to be nice like it was before, especially for the price and atmosphere. But service was not very good. the cheese bread tasted stale. I told the waiters I don't eat pork and they kept bring pork to my table or bacon wrapped items, which is fine, others ate it. But they didn't bring any beef during those times. Eventually, I had to tell them the specific cut of beef I wanted, which took a while but they brought them. The buffet portion was also not Everything tasted okay but it was unremarkable. Prior to the COVID pandemic, I came here many times and remember it being spectacular. Mixed bag review but I'll start with the tl;dr: Came here to celebrate Valentine's Day on the the day after (Feb 15), and overall left very pleased with the experience, primarily because of our table's excellent, attentive staff, and the pace and quality of the meats on offer to us. Your mileage certainly can vary at this spot. (And, I wouldn't be surprised if every 5-star review that mentions the name Diogo is a bought review.) Ok. For the full review. The good: - Fairly priced churrasco given the quality cuts on offer. They regularly come around with prime sirloin, t bone, and if you're lucky, even filet mignon. If you're nice to the staff (as you should be, anywhere), they treat you especially well and give you amazing portions of the good stuff. We even managed to get the bone-in t-bone to split. Basically a whole steak, for two. Really amazing given the prix-fixe revolving door of cuts. - There's good variety. The salad and charcuterie bar is well-stocked and you can go up and get whatever you need as many times as you want over the course of your meal. You can also order a-la-carte sides like french fries directly with your server, and they're included in the price of the experience. Very cool. Just be careful not to fill up on sides, as you're really here for the meats. - If you want a specific cut at a specific cook, you can request it and they'll bring it out to you. This is great if you keep getting offered pork and lamb but you prefer beef and chicken, for example. Or if you want your filet cooked medium but they brought out the medium rare. - The service overall was really great. Our particular servers, Evelyn and Zoe, were super attentive and would come by regularly to check on us and see if we'd like to put in any orders and to make sure we're having a great experience. It was clear that these two put the customers first and really they went above and beyond. I really mean that and I'm not saying this for any 'free dessert' (more on this later). The not so good: - The food in general, and particularly the sides (fries, mashed potatoes, rice) are *very* salty. Salt just pouring off. Since the meal is mostly red meat (high salt), it's especially off-putting when all you can taste from the sides is salt. - As others have mentioned, the reservations system for this particular location is absolutely meaningless, it seems. They basically take names in the order that parties walk in, and seat accordingly as well. We arrived at our reservation time and were fortunate to only have a 40 minute wait to be seated, as we were a party of 2. For parties of 3-4, I overheard them saying it's be an hour to 1.5 hour wait, despite them having a reservation. - At least in Feb 2025, they are unable to validate parking in the adjoining Paseo garage, despite being one of the businesses in the Paseo complex. It's not the biggest deal, but at $1.50 per half hour, that adds up, especially if you have an hour plus wait just to be seated. The girl taking down names for seating did not know why they don't validate or if they would do so at some point in the future. Not her fault, but easily something management messed up. If you're dining for $100 a head, it'd be nice to get the $9 parking validated. Or at least discounted. I'd recommend going to Bath and Body Works and buying a $1 hand sanitizer to validate your parking if you have a long wait at Fogo. Call it a bit of a parking hack. - The overall dining room is very hit or miss, depending on where you sit. The tables are very much crammed on top of one another. You're basically dining with the tables next to you, because everyone is an arm length away. If you get seated centrally, as we did, it seems the meats come more frequently. I can easily see how if you're in the corner you might miss out on the better cuts unless you constantly directly request them. - This next part is what really gave me the ick as someone who lists honest reviews of businesses here on Yelp. At some point during the dinner, I stood up to go use the restroom. When I returned, I see a server/bartender who we had not seen at all, talking to my partner and leaving a business card with names on it. Super shady. He then goes over to the next table and the next and does the same thing. So basically, this person was going around to other servers' tables and asking every dining party to leave a 5-star review on Google or Yelp for Fogo, and to make sure to mention his name, *Diogo.* If you show this review while you're dining, they'll comp you one dessert. So obviously they got a bunch of people to bite on this offer. Again, this is someone we never saw before or after he came to leave the card... basically bribing good reviews for the business and for himself. It's super sleazy and makes me question the integrity of the business. Also smears the actually great service that some of his coworkers were providing. No thanks, Diogo. You can keep your comped dessert. read more
