I went here on Saturday for a birthday dinner. Great service and food inside. Now, the valet.. is the reason for only 2 stars. If that. I had placed a ring on my keychain, which I always do just to make sure it doesn't fall or loose it at the gym. I forgot to put it back on . I gave my keys to the valet guy, Tyler, without looking at the keys just went to give my number and went inside. When I got my keys the ring was gone. I noticed it there and asked him. Talked to the managers. No one did absolutely anything. The ring was so meaningful to me and I'm heartbroken someone would do that. Even after seeing me with tears in my eyes . Regardless if the valet is hired by a different company. It made Fogo look very bad as well, considering they are part of the experience. I will never be going back there, or my friends. Terrible experience just wish more could have been done. Be careful. Keep valuable belongings to yourself. I always do, in this case I forgot and I learned my lesson. Regardless you should be able to trust such a high end place to not steal anything and make sure things like this don't happen. read more

Advice to management - don't accept as many seats and resos if you can't handle your clients. This is one of the few Brazilian Steakhouse options in the DFW area, and it's always been one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. This Fogo is located in Legacy West, and it offers valet parking to those that struggle to find parking in the packed garage. They often have discounted options during certain months that honestly provide the same amount of great meat as the full experience. The moment we flipped our little circle up, the meat started coming at an overwhelming pace. The carriers are well-trained and know each cut like the back of their hands. Steak, bacon-wrapped goodies, sausages - there's nothing this place doesn't have. Furthermore, the salad bar cleanses the mouth so you can go for another round. The only thing negative I have to say about Fogo is that it's hard to leave. As you're about to turn your circle red, another great cut of meat or your favorite item comes out right again. Beware of overeating, but at least you'll be full! read more

We were seated right away and the service was amazing and the food was right on point and was truly excellent. Normally I don't write reviews, but my experience today was very poor . I've been to Fogo many times and the food / service is always outstanding so it was such a shocker to be greeted in a rude fashion. We were trying to get a seat for 2 and saw online that there were multiple time slots available in 15 minute increments from the time we had arrived. When we had realized we made reservations at the wrong location we were told we should just go there since they have our table there - even though we had mentioned that we didn't want to drive 30 minutes away because we live down the street. We were then told we need to call the other location to cancel our reservation instead and that all their tables were full at this Plano location. At that moment I just booked a slot that was available on OpenTable in 5 more minutes and we still got told that there was no more seating.We asked about walk ins and the host said "it would be a while" and that the main tables were only for big parties. Moments later we were told the only area we could sit was the bar. Very confused, I showed that I was able to make a reservation on OpenTable - another host came by and had to tell her that our names were on the list and was able to take us to a table. After we got seated in the main area we looked around and realized there were many tables available and over the next 5-10 minutes, multiple parties of two were only being seated. Overall, very unusual experience from Fogo de Chao and the initial interaction with the host felt unprofessional. As we entered we had a reservation which help tremendously as we did not have to wait long for a table. Once we got seated we waiting some time for a server, once we did she seemed on top of it but after we got our drinks we never saw her again until the end of our meal. During our meal we were so excited to get a slice of all the meats, we were not impressed, there were 3 good pieces we received. I do not recommend the lamb as the slice we received had a really bad gamey taste where we refused to finish the slice. Once we finished our meal we were finally able to find the server to order another drink, after finishing our drinks it took another 30 minutes until we saw our server again to ask for our check. We were highly disappointed as we we're celebrating our last date night before our wedding later this week.... I think the worse part was the table next to us was getting attentive service while we felt ignored, before we could wave the server down she had her back turned and taking off. read more

If you've been to a Brazilian steakhouse before then you already know what to expect. Great food, indulging service, spontaneous appetizers, a superb salad bar, and strong drinks! Fogo is no different. This location is the headquarters and offers a more expansive menu than other locations as well as a wealth of info about the origination if this place! It's pretty keen. I love the complimentary valet as parking can be a bit scarce. The area is divine with lots of happenings surrounding it and the hustle and bustle of fine folks! My favorite part of the meal, believe it or not, is the Pão de Queijo, the Brazilian cheese bread. Man oh man, it's always hot, fresh, and just so delectable! I try not to stuff myself with too many of these before my main course arrives. The meats are well, meaty! They've got all kinds and I feel bad for not being a "super carnivore" as I only get to enjoy slim pickings! I loved the Bacon Wrapped Chicken, Garlic Pork, Pig & Pineapple, and Picanye! Everything is cooked how you like it. The side additions are very good indeed! There's normally Plantains, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Fried Yucca. Indulge in the Salad Bar. That's where it's at! You've got everything from Salami & Cheese, Cesar Salad, Fresh Fruit, Sun Dried Tomatoes & Peppers, and my fave, CRACK BACON. That's bacon cooked hard sprinkled with brown sugar, YUM! The manager Camilla is a rockstar! She's really knowledgeable of the restaurant, menu, and has outstanding customer service! The only thing unnoticed is the servers at this location aren't as enthralled with customer service like the other locations, for example, Uptown. Sometimes they don't even mention what they're serving you. I'd imagine they're always busy and have to work fast. Either way, it's always a fine experience and fine dining at Fogo! read more

Edited: Camila (one of the managers) followed up with us and apologized for what happened. She offered us a gift certificate as well. I love this place. Every single item on the Market Table is gluten free, a plus for me. Even the cheese popovers brought to the table are gluten free. The buffet is as elegant as any you will find anywhere on land or sea. Sadly, the buffet is never ready at 11, when the restaurant opens. So I had to fill my plate, missing out on some favorites, like the aged cheeses, the charcuterie and the fresh pineapple, as happened today. Sometimes the valet jumps to open the restaurant door for me (I park nearby) and sometimes he is engrossed in his paperback and doesn't even see me. I will keep coming back. Food was good when it got to us. We had to ask to be served. It was busy and don't think it was set up correctly. Organization of the flow the servers were flowing out was not properly done. Came here for dinner with a large group. Here is their meat serving strategy. Push the cheap meat (chicken, sausage, pork) big time in hopes of filling you up and hide the filet cut grade of meat. It became a joke every time the meat servers came around I kept requesting the filet to no avail. They kept saying "It's cooking". After 50 Minutes of meat serving as our meal drew to a close they delivered some filet. My wife was at a different table with her friends and they never once had the filet offered even after requesting it! If you want to eat VERY expensive chicken - this is your place!!! Interesting - the filet is listed FIRST on the menu and LAST or NEVER to be seen. Your penny pinching strategy is so OBVIOUS it is sad! You obviously care more about the bottom line than the customer. I won't be back. read more

The service was a bit slow as they had a large gathering at the bar and it took awhile to get our drinks out. Waiter was nice and apologetic though. He even comped our dessert because of that. The salad bar was okay. I thought there could be more selection. It just didn't compare to Texas de Brazil. The meats were cooked well. But it didn't come out fast enough. I did notice the cheaper meats were rotating more frequently than the expensive cuts. Some meats were overly salty. Overall experience was nothing out of the ordinary. What a great evening we had celebrating my twin boys 15th birthday. The meats were delicious and made their way around with regularity. Overpriced is what I think. Visit this line first, they hope, I didn't. Then you wait, you get a couple of bites at a time, then you wait for 10-15 minutes for the guy to come by with what you want. Meanwhile the lower end meat guys seemed everywhere. Food was good, not outstanding though for the price, flank was over-salty, a couple of others close to that, pork tenderloin dry. I doubt I had a total of 8 ounces of meat, practically nothing else, dinner took 2.5 hours, all for $110 for 2, plus tax and tip. The building and furnishings are really nice though, unfortunately it's located in the Overdevelopments at Legacy, so be prepared for a cluster. read more
