First of all Camila is the most amazing hostess I have ever met! This location (legacy west) was such a great experience. We had almost every cut of meat and they were all delicious. The valet parking is nice. The ambiance was wonderful (jazzy Christmas piano music playing) and the space is beautifully appointed. We got our Brazilian cheese bread which was delicious. We initially had a couple of issues (lip stick on an unused glass and a spot of mold on a pomegranate from the salad bar) which they apologized for and corrected right away and over all we had a good experience and would recommend it. I lived in Brazil when I was a young girl and always enjoy actual Brazilian food when I can get it. My only suggestion for improvement is to have any new wait staff trained in Brazilian pronunciation before putting them on the floor or teach them English ways to describe the food so they can be confident. Our first waiter was good but he seemed a bit new to the job as he incorrectly pronounced the names of some of the dishes. This is no big deal and others who don't speak Portuguese likely might not have known. Oh and the butternut squash soup and candied bacon was delicious and the papaya cream dessert is in my opinion, the perfect balance of creamy and lightly sweet. A night out at Fogo is always a favorite for my wife and me. This location has great ambiance and ideally located in Legacy West. Plenty of garage parking or a valet option. The service is top notch. We had Eric and Steve waiting on our table last night, and both offered top notch service. We didn't wait long for anything. Meat options were abundant and all delicious. Service was great last Saturday for brunch. Our servers Sierra and Austin were really attentive. Sierra even helped guide the hot cheese coated in honey (my fav thing I tried this visit!) to our table when I asked if it would be coming around again. She also brought extra cheese bread which was very sweet of her. The meats, unfortunately for this visit, were not as flavorful and memorable as I remembered. One of the worst dining experiences I've had. We had reservations at 7:15, but were not seated until after 8:00 pm, initially taken to the wrong table and then had to wait longer. The waitress rarely came to our table, we had to remind her to take our order, and our drinks didn't show up until AFTER we finished dinner. At the end of the meal, I had to ask for the check three times before it arrived. Needless to say, I will not be going back. We are frequent visitors to this particular location of Fogo de Chao for birthdays and other big life events, but this week's experience was significantly worse than usual. The location is still beautiful and the food satisfying, but service has declined significantly - including some rather frustrating mistakes with our drink orders. First, two of the drinks were ordered to start did not arrive. We had to ask someone who appeared to be working as a manager to help get our drinks. They at first went to check up on them and then returned to us to ask what the drinks were, suggesting that they were never ordered from the bar. Second, my sister who first had a Red Blend asked for a Malbec as her next drink, the server arrived with a carafe and poured the Malbec into her unfinished Red Blend. This was particularly baffling and we probably would have stopped him had he not run up quickly, dumped the new wine into the glass she was still drinking from, and ran away. I feel like this speaks to both a lack of service and lack of common sense... Third, my second glass of wine was served with a large (pencil eraser size) chunk of cork sitting in it. When I tried to point it out my server quickly left the table, and I had to flag down someone else to apologetically ask for a swap out. Overall, there also seemed to be multiple turnovers in servers, leading to an issue where no one was really responsible for the table. I don't actually think that each table needs a single server in general, but there was clearly a lack of communication between servers sharing tables and everyone was running around very quickly, which made it hard to get anyone's attention. I get that places can be short-staffed, but the hectic atmosphere wasn't ideal - in fact, the table behind us had two waiters collide and spill a drink over someone's jacket while we were there. Ultimately, I think we may look somewhere else for our next celebratory dinner. read more

Had dinner last 25 Nov Friday. Service was very slow, irregular and disappointing. Server was not attentive. His attention has to be called several times before he would respond. Availability of meats was very sparse. We had to request for a particular meat offering 4 times before it had actually reached our table. Went Last night, this would be my second time in the last few months. I thought the first time going was an anomaly, compared to the Addison location which i have frequented may times over the last decade. But this location is terrible in comparison. We had a reservation, checked in 15 minutes early. Were told 20 minutes, then after 30 minutes, we were told 20 more minutes, then after 30 more minutes we were told another 30 minutes. We had similar experience the first time. I would of been fine if they told me up front it would of been an hour and half wait, even after a reservation. Once we got in, the wait staff group who was servicing our area was not very attentive and seem way to busy, we were usually waiting bit for refills. Took asking 4 people to find out where our drink order from the bar was. Understandable that somethings take time, we hard to gauge when we dont even know if our first request was even put in. We had to ask for our table garnishments like the bread and mash potatoes that should of just come automatically as usual. However getting the types of meat we came for was very difficult tonight. We had to ask several time for the specific cut and not seeing until 30 minutes later. again this was also similar experience to the first time we went. We thought it was an anomaly again, but it seems to be more of a trend for this location. We ordered take out here yesterday, and one day last week. We called in the order and they brought the food out to the car. We ordered the pichana steaks, that we grilled ourselves. I just seasoned with pink himalayan sea salt, and threw on the grill for 5 minutes each side. It came out perfect. It was tender and very flavorful. We drizzled chimichurri on after they were done. They really stepped up during this coronavirus pandemic. Please support your favorite restaurants during this time. Unfortunately, this place has gone way downhill. The service is just bad, we asked for several different meats multiple and just kept getting offered chicken thighs and chicken legs (which were not tasty). One of the gauchos dropped the meat on the table and then just left it there without offering a new piece. They got rid of the sides of polenta, mashed potatoes, and depending on who you ask, the fried plantains too. We were told they had the cheese and honey and then told they don't have it anymore. Christmas Day at any restaurant is probably a gamble because face it, the staff is annoyed by having to work. A place like FdC might not be so bad to work on a holiday because the ticket average would promote some awesome tips. My 85 yo father asked about wine special that was on the table and we were told that it 1/2 off $100 or more bottles otherwise the run $20 to 40 dollars. My 85 yo father asked for wine list but was told look at QR code. He selected wine and told server ( hard to read ). The server then went missing for 30 minutes. We found what we thought was a floor manager but happened to be a bus person that made the experience tolerable. He got our wine and we thought the worst was over. To finish this before next Christmas I'll just bullet point No sides delivered until asking manager twice The same 5 meats delivered every time even after asking Bread request 3 times Asked to speak to manager 2 times and they never responded Check dropped off with wrong bottle ( more expensive) of wine The bus person was truly a better server and manager than you have on staff. I really wish remembered his name. He managed to get the wine corrected and a meal taken off. Still no manager. So Merry Christmas Fogo de C. That's a lot of Meat! This location is the newest and definitely the best in the area. Probably doesn't hurt that the corporate office is upstairs. The surroundings are very upscale and modern. The design has that spacious overhead that makes space feel elegant and contemporary. As for the food, well, more of the same, as the other Brazillian steakhouses. 5 or six varieties of steak, sausage and chicken grilled on skewers with different spices. You start at what they call the Market Table. Its a salad bar kicked up a few notches by adding some cheeses and other items that are usually starter/appetizers at other places. As I've said in other reviews, I am a meat lover however, this concept is not for me. I recommend you go though, if you have never experienced this type of "Brazilian Steak House" or just love stuffing yourself with meat! read more

Okay. This is covid era. And I think all reviews should start with this. We arrived early wanting to sit at the bar before being sat. Bartenders were extremely friendly and accommodating for social distancing. Everyone had on a mask. Which was great. We were sat at our convenience, which was awesome, and the food was perfect as always, and the space between guests almost added to the experience. There was space, a quietness, and a rather romantic setting for our first night out since covid hit Texas. Overall we were very impressed and happy with the level of care and regard to covid. We were first talking to the host. She told us about a menu but sound overwhelming verbal information. So we pick the buffet for market table. Michael, runner, was politely serving our family of four. I think a waiter or supervisor also approach for anything we need. The food servers that hold the swords are cool. Just in case, sword holder with bbq come to your table even if you did not put your tab on greens. When the desserts arrives given by supervisor, I think the serving stops because the waiter did not give us hot tea anymore, but we did have cold drinks from earlier. Pro: a lot of staff go to the customers to help. Cons: Instead of telling the customers about the menu verbally, Show the customers the lists in the pierce of paper to read, then the customers can ask the staff for best choice read more

The evening started out great. Took our teenage boys for end of school celebration dinner. The food was excellent, the ambiance was elegant, however it went down hill as the night progressed. The service was sub par at best on a Friday night. Not once were we asked how the drinks or food were. One of our drinks was very bitter and was told that the replacement drink would have to wait because the bar was too busy. Finally got the replacement at the end of the meal. Overall I am highly disappointed as it was made very clear that we were cut off the flow of meats fairly quickly despite the queue cards being on green and clearly visible, I'm sure so that the table could turn over quicker. i've been to many Brazilian steakhouses across the country and we tend to get smaller servings as the meats are delivered around so that we can decide which ones are our favorites for the night. However, that goes completely contrary to this steakhouse as we were being essentially pressured to turn the table and close out the ticket after 42 mins from the time we sat down! i'm not spending this kind of money to be pressured to leave in under an hour let alone 42 mins. We refrained from ordering dessert which would've added another $50+ to our tab as it was obvious at this point that we were cut off yet after we asked for the tab they made us wait 15 mins to even get our ticket. I will NOT be returning and will take my paltry $400 tab not including dessert for 4 people elsewhere. read more
