Hidden inside the French Valley Airport is a really cool restaraunt called French Valley Cafe. A real gem that sits on the runway and allows you to see planes taking off and landing. They have inside and outside seating. We sat inside by the window. Here for St Patrick's Day celebration. Had the traditional corned beef and cabbage, carrots, potatoes and a roll. With the exception of the potatoes (over cooked) the food was spot on. We had green vodka and midori drinks to go with the occasion. Service was excellent and we were constantly checked on...I like that. They also have an A rating...I liked that too! Looking over thge menu they have many selections to choose from A and something for everyone. Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Big parking lot no worries there. My husband and I come here for breakfast almost every Sunday and sit at the bar. The food is amazing, portions are huge and we love the staff. It's like being served by one of your friends. Anytime friends or family come to stay with us, we always bring them to French valley. read more

I would give this a 5 stars as normally it is great every time we go, but today not sure what happened. I understand having an off day but sure that's the case. We ordered rib eye and eggs both were to be medium and they came out well done complete brown. Sent them back then the waitress was nice enough to tell the cook medium rare just in case well they came out again completely well and with a major smell to both steaks. The smell alone almost made me sick. Not sure why that is seems the meat was bad the second time around. We ended up not eating and just leaving being how the last steak came out and the smell. I will recommend this place as this is the first issue we have had but the smell of that steak only reason I'm taking off a star and saying something about it as that isn't good. Over cooking a steak happens but not serving bad steak on top of it. We will end up back there just hopefully things get back to our normal great experiences. read more

My mother in law really enjoys this place so she invited me to have lunch with her... finding the actual restaurant inside the building at first was a little confusing, but it's not so bad once you figure it out. The food here is decent... menu is a little basic, but prices are fair and I've enjoyed everything I've ordered. My mother in law loves to order their fish and chips. Service is totally hit or miss... we've been there when it's completely full and only two waiters and also when it's a little emptier and service is good. Either way, a view of flying airplanes is not something you see every day for lunch, so for that.. I'm a fan. read more

I can't even remember what I had, thats how unmentionable my food was. It was a standard breakfast dish with an apple sausage that I gave to my husband. I think it might have been French toast. Anyways, nothing special but the price was fair and the service was good. Why you come here is for the view. From the inside you can see planes thru the window. Some even taking off or landing perhaps. Its great! Especially for the little ones. The major bonus was after our meal we were able to walk right out the outside door to area where the planes are. Our kids were able to run around a bit and play, and watch the planes with a closer view without being in anyones way. You can't beat that! I would like to come back and have a few drinks as well as try lunch and dinner. read more

I was so excited about this place. My family and I moved to the area a while ago and have been wanting try this one since. We finally made reservations on the patio for Mother's Day, and it was quite the letdown. We made reservations, checked in 12 minutes before, and still weren't sat at our table for 40 minutes. The hostess had ZERO CLUE what she was doing. Then we had someone else bringing drinks, and she completely disappeared. I had to go inside and get someone to bring us waters and coffees. Then it took about 30 minutes for our order to be taken. Not so fast forward, 50 minutes go by and still no food at our table. I once again went inside to find our server. She had disappeared as well. As a former server, I completely understand that people are busy, but completely neglecting customers is just unacceptable. I wish we had a better experience, however that just wasn't the case. We will never be back, which is sad because the place has SO much potential. The people that work there should care more, and respect more. read more

This is the perfect spot to eat and watch planes come in and out with the kids. You can sit inside or outside in the deck! The kids love the root beer floats, and they have the best coffee. Five stars for the scenic ambiance and three stars for the food quality. Really cool and unique little breakfast spot. Friendly staff and a beautiful airport view admiring all the smaller planes in and out of this terminal. Our family took us to breakfast here while they were in town. It wasn't too busy and we were served somewhat promptly. I can easily see how service may be a little bit slower if the restaurant was packed. My family tends to be picky about how their eggs are cooked over medium and over easy and each commented that it was a bit undercooked. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were way too hard and their toast was also almost inedible. read more
