This place is awesome! Something went wrong with my phone months ago and they fixed it here and replaced my battery. About a month later I dropped my phone in an elevator and the screen was demolished completely! I couldn't remember the address for here and ended up going somewhere else.... Worst idea ever!! My phone glitched after the screen was fixed and completely crashed. Once my phone came back to life, 3 months later, the same problems occurred and finally the lcd stopped working completely. I made sure I found Genius lab again because I knew they would be honest and help me just as they had before. It turns out the other person who fixed my screen left out internal parts to my phone! If I had gone back to him, who knows what would've been done this time! I'm so thankful to have had honest and quick service once again from Genius Lab! Don't trust anybody else! Had a broken iPhone5s screen. Took it to the apple store and they said they couldn't just fix the screen and would have to also change the frame since it was bent and would cost me an arm and a leg. Found this place walking distance from my work (chla) and based on the good reviews figured it was worth a try on my lunch break. Nick was very helpful and just manually fixed the bent on the frame and successfully replaced the screen at a fraction of what it would have cost me at the apple store. Haven't experienced any issues with the phone. Happy camper :) read more

Found them on a google search ("best iPhone 6 repair 90026") that took me to a list which led me to their yelp page. Dropped in with a severely shattered iPhone 6 screen. It was fixed and ready to go in 20 minutes! And, it was less than most of the quotes I received from other places. They also threw in a little something extra! Fast, efficient and great service! Also, I'm...uh..."electronically challenged" and have no clue about tech stuff, so they totally could have gouged me, like a shady mechanic. Instead, what I got was an honest evaluation and quote, which was very reasonable. They put on a screen protector for me and suggested a good case since I tend to beat up my phones. And the price was exactly as quoted. The guy I dealt with was very friendly, incredibly helpful and didn't make me feel dumb because I broke my phone and have no clue. I wish I could remember his name! Good price, fast service, friendly service! Highly recommend! read more

Broke my iphone 6 today and went there to get it fixed. They're super nice and did a great job! The touch screen and and the LCD screen were broken and they charged me $100 which is a good deal. Came here to get my iPhone 5S screen repaired and was in and out in 15 minutes! Nick was really helpful and made my phone look new again. This place has easy parking in the back and comfortable couches to lounge on while you wait for your repair. The new screen he put on my phone is an original Apple LCD and it looks way better than my last screen (which I got fixed elsewhere). Lesson learned: you get what you pay for! Unfortunately I cracked the screen of my iPhone 6S Plus. I took my phone to apple and they stated they could not fix my phone due to the slightly bent frame. I found genius lab on Yelp and they were able to not only replace my screen with an OEM LCD, but also aligned my frame back to normal. I'm so happy I found this place, they are really friendly, and also had my phone ready within half an hour. WILL COME AGAIN. read more

Brought my iPhone 5S here the other day with an extremely bad cracked screen. They replaced the screen and LCD in an hour perfectly. I began experiencing some issues with my screen again the day after, and I brought it back. They replaced the screen for free in 30 minutes and it began working perfectly. Highly recommended. Crashed an internal hard drive that had significant data on it that I had,…read moreirresponsibly, not backed up to any other sources. The damage I did to the drive required Five Star's clean-room service, and they quoted a flat rate to me in advance. The effort of recovering the data ended up being very challenging and took longer than any of us expected, but at the end Five Star was able to recover over 99% of the files--and I'm happy to say, the 1% of files were not important to me, so the 99% they recovered covered everything I needed. Despite that significant extra work, they invoiced me only for the original quoted amount. I'm happy with the results but also the professionalism. When I first reached out to Five Star, they got back to me at the start of the next business day and, after answering a few follow-up questions, I had a quote and scheduled to drop off my drive the same day. The company runs lean, and they do not have a normal "help desk" when you call, so you don't always get an answer or help immediately, but I still give them five stars because they care about your experience with this and they make up for it once you get their highly competent technician on your case. Joe set up the software on two computers in only a couple of minutes and it feels like these cameras are sturdy and will continue running through at least a few generations of computers. If I ever want more coverage or upgrades, I would stay with this service.

Ubiquiti had a solid reputation for quality and reliability, so I went about finding someone who handled their products. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! I've never had this happen before. Even with our other handyman, plumbers, etc. - if you can't do the work, you don't get paid for NOT doing the work. We were told that this would cover gas expenses - why take a job that is out of your network? They knew our address well before coming out. Also, some of our intake conversations were over text, so I wish we discussed the job over photos so they knew what we wanted to do in terms of the job and give us a proper quote. Just felt very scammy and weird after them asking for money without starting the job.

He was pleasant, respectful, and knowledgeable. He explained the process to me and a job that was initially quoted as requiring 30 minutes only took 15 to complete. After many disappointments in the past with repairing my MacBook Pro, I thought I would give Genius Lab an opportunity with fixing my laptop. They have in the past repaired my iPhone and iPad at a great price, so I decided to give them a call in regards to my MacBook slowing down and being laggy all the time. The representative that answered the phone immediately told me what the problem may be, literally explained every process they can take to fix my problem. I immediately got the sense that they truly wanted to fix my problem and weren't just trying to take my money and run. Turns out that even tho other places told me that I had to swap out my hard drive, and do a lot of other services that would rack up my tab, Genius Lab tested my hard drive, and realized that my HD did not need to be replaced, and just needed to be serviced. I am so thankful for their honesty that I am literally referring all my friends and family here. I live in Glendale, and it was COMPLETELY worth the drive to them (which wasn't THAAAT FAR) to have my problem fixed correctly and with integrity on their part. Even the Apple Store wasn't being helpful in my case. All in all, from pricing, to their knowledgeable staff, customer service, and honesty I couldn't be happier. It had water damage and before that I think it had a virus because it was running very very slow!! The guys there told me they will give me call back with the results. Went in here with my broken iPhone 6, Nick replaced the screen and fixed my charging port in about half an hour flat.
