Right as we walked in, I shoulda listened to the red flags. We were second waiting in line and it took a while for us to be seated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There weren't a lot of clean tables, we were offered to sit at the bar or wait 20 minutes for a clean table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] First of all, why don't they have more tables and why don't they have staff bussing? Ok. Fine. Whatever. The bar it is. I noticed there were lots of plates on the belt. I had my first plate which was the squid. I didn't expect it to be lukewarm and slimy. I didn't even finish the other piece in fear of being food poisoned. Even their yakult was warm. I proceeded to take another plate which was overpriced and greasy. Most of the plates were overpriced I my opinion. Also, it took a while for our waters to be filled up..so long that my kid was sucking on ice cubes -down to the last drop. There were too many overpriced plates on the belt with small portions. The food was terrible. There were too many cooks cooking and not enough people eating. For about 8-9 plates, it was almost $50. Never again. Everything was less than stellar - service, food,

It has been a while, but we came he for my sushi craving and it was a little late to go anywhere else. I'm glad that we came here because I enjoyed their garlic seared salmon, plain udon, geso karaage, and the mentai seared salmon roll. You don't see the picture of the mentai seared salmon roll in my photos. I forgot to take that photo, like I almost forgot about the California roll! One of the things I like about going to sushi spots is the wasabi! The wasabi here, actually burns your nose, which is a plus! The service here is good, everyone is polite and busy! [[HIGHLIGHT]]As for the ambiance, I really like the conveyor belt, and that they are providing QR scan to order, as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sushi comes out much quicker that way, instead of waiting for it to come around the belt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a plus that they have booths available for customers, too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even though the food here is a little more pricey, I like coming here for some sushi and udon!

top to bottom: samurai roll, spicy tuna roll, veggie roll & salmon nigiri (1 order of nigiri includes 2 pieces). cost: 21.41$

i thought i had left a review already... i've been going to genki for a long time now. in the past 10 years it was SO good, so NOT good... and i thiiiink... it is back to good! i recently popped in and was happy to see a few familiar faces, even happier to have some of the best sushi at genki in a long time. they recently launched mobile ordering when seated but still working through it - not everything has been posted on it so you may need to order through staff still and you can't pay mobile either. the staff is so helpful and nice. the onion nigiri is my #1, followed by my classic flaming hot roll. those 2 rolls are the ONLY REASON i come back here! nowhere else makes anything as tasty. order it (don't get it off the belt) and try for yourself. the onion nigiri includes mayo on salmon nigiri. the flaming hot is spicy mayo, tempura flakes, jalapeño, cream cheese and salmon.

The food (Sushi) was yummy. The service was good. The sushi come on a rotating conveyor belt and you grab what you like to eat.

Probably one of the most expensive conveyor belt sushi places I've been. Salmon nigiri is $4.85 a plate. It's delicious, yes, but too expensive for me to visit often. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were only 3 tables full including mine and I'm guessing it's because of the cost.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom was clean but covered in graffiti ( not the cool kind either).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even the soda is expensive at $3.15

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Conveyer belt sushi was so fun![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I don't think there are any booths so the conveyer belt runs through everyone in the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of selection, and plates are color coded. Sushi was good and had solid selection.

Pretty good sushi, service was ok. To be fair everything was self serve, but the staff did good by checking up on us and as well made sure if we were liking everything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall great atmosphere and a pretty cool experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I'm honestly surprised this conveyor belt sushi restaurant is alive and kicking still. It even outlived Sushiland! My first time at Genki was in Factoria and I was never impressed with their spam and imitation crab stick nigiri. I guess this is good for people that don't want to try raw fish and still want that sushi experience. But for me, this is going to sound super pretentious, this ain't real sushi in my eyes. I mean, yes they do have salmon, tuna, and all that good stuff, but when you only see just the cooked stuff on the belt, I'm going to judge. This Renton location is better though because they do actually put out the raw stuff on the belt. So that's good. I don't know if they use a machine to shape the rice for the nigiri, but they be thick! If you like rice a lot, this is great for you. But this is too much rice for my comfort on a nigiri. I honestly had like 3 or 4 plates before I got full. And normally I would get 8 on average! So that says a lot. And I saw another customer just straight up not eat the rice and created a giant pile! This place isn't for me. I've been too scarred by my first time experience at a Genki. The vibe doesn't feel right and in my opinion, there are better sushi restaurants and also sushi conveyor belt places elsewhere. Don't let me stop you from coming here if it's still your jam. Enjoy what you enjoy!

Wide selection, lots of different options. It gets very crowded, but there's easy ways to reserve a table even up to a couple of days in advance. All good things. The downside food quality was subpar. I ordered vegetable tempura in the preparation was mixed. Some of the pieces were completely undercooked or uncooked, others were mushy, some were somewhere in between all were relatively flavorless. There are a lot of different sushi options, but at the same time, I found that many of them were missing from the conveyor belt. The air is an overabundance of rice vinegar. In the sushi and it was sitting in my mouth with a sour unpleasant taste for two hours after portions are very small And the preparation isn't the best. The there is a tablet there for ordering. If you want something that you can't find on the conveyor belt, which is a plus I'm not sure how it actually works. Because I would order something and top it again. Then, suddenly it would appear, which led me to end up ordering 2 hand rolls. When I only wanted one, the crispy salmon skin was mushy at best. And not what I was expecting it was a decent size handle but the flavor just wasn't there Plates are $4.15 each. Which is a little bit pricey? Especially if you're used to a mix of different cost plates structures, well, I come back again. I think it'll be wild before I try it again. If the quality was high and the portions were a little bigger, I might be tempted to come back.Sooner, but as it is, I won't give this another try for at least six months.I'd love to hear other people's experience Service is pretty good. They were very attentive. They had to explain 3 or 4 times that I've eaten liptop sticks before. No, I didn't need a fork, and I was surprised that they haven't met.More people in this area, we're accustomed to chopsticks There's some cute gimmicks, like the robot tables that would be great for kids certainly worth ago 44 younglings

SUSHI ME @ BELLEVUE…read more Parking is available in their lot, and there were plenty of spaces when we arrived. It's shared with other restaurants and businesses in a small plaza, which makes it pretty convenient. I had been craving sushi, and my family and I specifically wanted conveyor belt-style sushi. The usual spot we go to in another part of Bellevue had over a two-hour wait, so we decided to try something new and found Sushi Me. It was only about a 15-minute drive, and when we got there, we were seated immediately in a booth, which was a great start. However, the experience didn't fully live up to expectations. One of the challenges with conveyor belt sushi is that your selection really depends on where you're seated. We were closer to the end, so by the time plates reached us, a lot of the better options were already taken. Because of that, we didn't get much variety, and many of the plates we saw were either repeats or already picked over. We ended up trying a few items, including salmon nigiri, seared salmon, and calamari. The salmon was decent, but the calamari was disappointing it came out cold and was about $6 for just four pieces. Another thing I didn't love was that many of the plates, including the calamari, were uncovered. It didn't feel the most sanitary since the food is just circulating out in the open. Overall, the quality of the sushi was just okay. Some items felt cold or like they had been sitting out for a while, and we kept seeing the same rolls like crunchy rolls and crab-based dishes over and over again instead of a wide variety. They did have some fun extras like donuts, desserts, and edamame, which was nice to see. In the end, the experience was decent, but not something I'd go out of my way for again. I was hoping to try a wider variety of fresh sushi, and this just didn't quite deliver on that.

Fun experience visiting Sushi Me…read more I dont remember the last time I visited a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Sitting down and taking a look at the items on the belt, some immediately popped up to me. The garlic seared salmon was one, the toro, the spicy tuna, the rainbow, dragon (eel), are some of the ones I remembered. Some were better than others. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of some of the fish. The service is great, as you sit there you might not see an item you want, they are happy to make it for you. The different are served on different color plates, each color signifies a different cost. The cost can be anywhere from $3-$10. The place was very busy when we visited. Lot's of dates, families and a few people eating solo. Thanks Sushi Me for reminding me conveyor belt sushi can be fun!

I with 3 other adults and 2 kids (middle and elementary school), and we sat in a booth. The kids loved the revolving belt and putting the plates into the slot for a prize! The server was also really kind and switched out a red ball prize for a blue one instead. I like that you can order the same nigiri, rolls, and more (like udon, fried foods, and other entrees) via touchscreen. They'll make it for you and send it zipping down on the top belt! I wish they had a portable screen, like the ordering iPad at Hai Di Lao where everyone can take a look through the screen. It was a bit difficult to order because I was on the outer end of the booth, but the kids were right next to the belt and the screen. Fish quality and everything was decent--not blow you away highest quality, but as expected for a revolving belt sushi restaurant that values quick turnaround. The knife work on the fish is replacement level and leads to bad cuts being served. The rolls that have mayo in it have way more mayo than is palettable. On my fourth and final visit I found a hair sticking out from one of my pieces of nigiri. I ordered a replacement and the next piece of nigiri that came out had something in the flesh that should have never been sent out, so I sent that back too and asked for my check immediately. The service is low-effort even for a revolving sushi place. Also the waiting area being outside only just feels disrespectful and detracts from the atmosphere/experience.
