We were in north Las Vegas and found this on Yelp (4.9 stars) and I would have to agree with everyone else - this place is top notch! We got to sit in a nice booth with added privacy which my family liked. I got the miso soup and shrimp yakisoba which was very good. My daughter got the A5 Wagyu skewers and absolutely loved them. I had a small piece and it melted in your mouth. She also got the chicken skewers which she liked as well. Our waitress was very friendly, patient, and attentive and checked on us numerous times during our meal. I would definitely eat here again the next time I'm in the area!

Loved Ginza!!! The service and food was fantastic! Ginza is located in Skye Canyon off of the 95 in Northwest Las Vegas. It's a relatively small restaurant, but the ambiance is amazing! My husband and I had a booth inside the restaurant. There wasn't too many customers there on a Thursday evening. Ginza is open every day from 4:00 - 11:00 P.M. Ginza Izakaya Japanese restaurant has a wide range of menu options such as Appetizers: Gyoza, Fried Calamari, Vegetable Tempura, Garlic Edamame and more! Yakitori options like Wagyu Beef, or Wagyu Beef Tongue Sushi Fried Rice, Noodle, Hot Pot and Donburi options! My husband ended up getting the Chicken Katsu Curry. It was a fried crispy chicken katsu culet with Japanese Curry sauce and rice. I ended up selecting the Ginza Signature Dish, New York Strip Steak with Garlic Butter sauce. I did opt for no mushrooms and the team made a fresh garlic, butter sauce for my dish! Service was amazing. The team member assisting our table gave us a mini quiz to complete. We had to write down all of the animals in the painting at our table while waiting for the entrée! It was pretty fun! The food arrived and took about 20 minutes. The New York Strip steak was delicious! It was tender and juicy. I only added a little bit of the garlic butter sauce as it was quite flavorful! My husband ended up using the rest of the sauce for his curry dish! I also had a bite of the Chicken Katsu and, wow, it was SO flavorful! The best part of about the meal though was the Honey Toast at the end. There was a scoop of vanilla ice cream, with honey on top. The toast was delicious! My favorite part of the meal. I have to go back to Ginza again to try out one of their hot pot dishes. Their Beef Noodle Soup looks fantastic! Service is great here! I highly recommend if you're looking for an Izakaya restaurant in Northwest Las Vegas, to try out Ginza!

A5 Wagyu Beef Yaki - Melts in your mouth! Highly recommend!

Hands down the best sushi we've ever had! Everything is SO fresh, high quality and consistently delicious! The service and staff are also always amazing, especially Michelle! We always get the grilled A5 Wagyu Beef, Salmon Ikura cold starter, Seared Salmon Belly Nigiri, Toro Roll and West World Roll. We tried the Tuna Avocado cold starter for the first time tonight and it was also incredible. Don't miss out on this gem!

I've ate here a few times & everytime is a good time. I haven't ordered anything that wasn't flavorful & worth the price. The server is always polite & friendly. The ambiance is cozy but can be fun too. Love the showmanship for some of the dishes, so good.

Mentaiko cream pasta was savory and flavorful. Highly recommend!

First time here and this will definitely be our go-to Japanese restaurant from now on and the fact that it's so close to home makes it that much better. First impressions of this restaurant was that it was very modern chic while being very comfortable and spacious despite being a smaller restaurant. The air ventilation was superb where you're not walking out smelling like food. Most importantly, the service and food. Our server, Naomie, was the perfect person to host our table. She was personable, friendly and bubbly. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect person than her. She made my birthday dinner exceptional with her service and attentiveness and has made us permanent customers. The food is outstanding and I have yet to find a place that tastes more authentic Japanese food experience than Ginza. Our party ordered several sushi rolls and entrees and everyone loved their meals. Here is a breakdown of what we ordered and recommend: 1. Hamachi carpaccio- 5/5. Fresh and flavorful and the garnish with onions and ponzu sauce was perfection. 2. Spicy Tuna - 4/5. Standard roll but nothing fancy 3. Mentaiko Cream Pasta - perfectly al dente and loved the udon noodles with the perfectly cream (not too rich or thick) in sauce 4. Pork Cutlet Curry & Set - 100/5. Hands down one of the best tasting and authentic Japanese style tonkatsu I've had in awhile. It reminds me of Japan and the crispy texture was consistent and flavorful. 5. Oxtail Noodle Soup - 5/5 rich in flavor and generous portions. Overall, it was surprising to see how affordable the prices are for top quality Japanese food that's so detailed in making your dining experience an unforgettable one. Thank you to Naomi for the birthday mango cake that was delicious and for making it such a fun experience. Can't wait to come back!

Probably the best restaurant in the area. I've been here a couple times and everything I've tried has tasted authentic and amazing! My favorite dish so far is the A5 Wagyu Hot Pot. The tofu that comes with it is so silky and soft. The wagyu is also soft and melts in your mouth. Its also authentic and they have certificate posted right when you walk in. I also love how the place is decorated. It's perfect for a date night.

The omakase set is a great deal and very filling. Such a great variety of dishes, attentive staff, and beautiful atmosphere.

Best shrimp tempura I've ever had. The restaurant is small but beautifully decorated. Our server Naomi was so funny and friendly. This place has the freshest sushi I've ever had in LV. They don't offer all you can eat & it is a little pricey but trust me you will leave happy & full. See my pics

Didn't wanna go far from home so we checked out Ginza since we wanted sushi. Great vibe inside and pleasant service as well. Ordered a couple of rolls( The Toro, andI forgot the other one), a small Unadon, and some nigiri(Suzuki, Madai, and Chutoro). Rolls were tasty, as was all the nigiri. The Unadon was okay, not like they do in Japan though. Prices are justified...this is not an AYCE style sushi joint so you know the Quality of seafood is much better and tasty.

Amazing service and delicious selection of Maki. Takoyaki was pretty good too aswell. かわいいレストラン!!(^。^)/

We are new to the area and found this cute little Japanese style restaurant. we have found a home away from home. The food is so delicious. The staff is very friendly. Most of them have became family to us. Definitely recommend their food is outstanding

Our server was warm, welcoming and delightful. Made us feel welcome from the start. A large variety of rolls, but we opted for ones that we already knew and they were delicious. We got the Dragon and Lasagna roll. I love salmon and got the classic salmon roll. It was a bit lack luster. Next time I'll opt for the sashimi. I prefer made to order sushi over AYCe and this didn't disappoint. Portions and pricing were fair.

Do they have a happy hour or lunch specials?

They only open at 4, so not open for lunch unfortunately. As to a Happy hour....I don't remember seeing a menu for that, just a special Omakase menu and will be open for Father's Day only at 12. Hope that helps.

I don't think they are usually this busy though, as they were definitely understaffed that evening. Service was consistent throughout the night, and the servers were cheerful and doing their best to take care of everyone. The restaurants design is very relaxed, with some optional bar seating to watch the chefs cook and roast the skewers, with additional options for booths. After 10 PM, they offer a happy hour special with $5 hand rolls, cheap drinks, and basically half off of all their skewers, potatoes, and small bites. On the particular evening that we went, either they were extra busy and had too much customers from CES... but they ran out of sushi rice and did not have any hand rolls....How does a Japanese restaurant run out of rice??? We were super disappointed and ended up just getting skewers. Itzakaya Tora, you definitely need to step up your game and have better management in the future for these big events. I don't think they are that new of a restaurant, but they definitely let me down. Chicken and pork skewers ($2 per skewer, 7/10) - super juicy! You can definitely taste the charcoal and barbecue flavor. They do a great job of keeping each skewer, moist and juicy, that I didn't feel like I was eating burnt skewers like you get at some other restaurants. - $2 per skewer is pretty good for the happy hour deal, but I think it's much more expensive during the regular menu option. Don't think it would be particularly worth it with their regular menu. Overall, super disappointed that they didn't have any more of their sushi, rice and best do not have any $5 hand rolls during their happy hour. Also, the wait was super long to get in, and they were definitely understaffed. Izakaya Tora is a Japanese restaurant off of paradise really close to the strip and the sphere. It is fairly small, but they have non ayce sushi which does = higher prices but better quality. They have a pretty large menu of kitchen items, sake and drinks, and sushi and sashimi. At this visit we shared a scallop crudo that we liked, a yellowtail crudo that we loved, lamb chops were good, and I believe three rolls. One of the rolls we didn't like because they make the srirachi in house which was more sweet than spicy, but the others were good. I do like this place but it is not a quick stop type of place. It's a spot you come and hang out and take your time. Food can take some time but worth it with the quality and taste. It is also not cheap so more a quality over quantity situation. Service can be a little slow but pleasant. Overall I do like this spot for happy hour if I want a late night drink and bite of sushi.

My family made a reservation because they wanted to celebrate my birthday, so I was really looking forward to it. When it is your birthday, even a small detail feels a little more important. You want the night to feel special, smooth, and happy from the beginning. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there seemed to be a small issue with the reservation, and the table we were given was much smaller than expected. Since we were there as a family for a birthday dinner, it felt uncomfortable at first. I have to be honest -- my mood was not great in the beginning. It was one of those moments where you think, "Oh no, is this how the night is going to start?" But then the food started coming out, and Hachi completely turned the night around. The first thing that changed my mood was the beer. The draft beer was served in an unbelievably icy-cold mug. It was not just cold -- it looked and felt like it had come straight out of a freezer. The foam was smooth, the beer was crisp, and the first sip was so refreshing that I almost forgot I had been upset a few minutes earlier. That beer alone deserves applause. Sometimes a perfect cold beer can fix a whole mood, and this one absolutely did. The biggest highlight of the night was the tuna toro. It was incredible. The texture was so soft and delicate that it almost felt like cotton candy melting in my mouth. Rich, buttery, fresh, and so smooth. It was the kind of bite that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a second. We loved it so much that we ordered it three times. Ordering the same dish three times says everything. It was not a maybe. It was not a "let's think about it." It was a clear yes every time. The skewers were also very good. The grilled meats had a nice smoky flavor, and they were seasoned well without being too salty. They paired perfectly with the icy beer. But the shrimp skewer was especially memorable. The shrimp had that perfect bouncy, juicy texture. It was grilled nicely, still tender, and full of natural sweetness. Some grilled shrimp can become dry or forgettable, but this one had personality. Small skewer, big impact. We also enjoyed several other izakaya-style dishes. The grilled shishito peppers with bonito flakes were simple but delicious, and they helped balance out the richer dishes. The grilled squid had a great smoky flavor and a chewy texture that went so well with beer. These are exactly the kinds of dishes that make izakaya dining so fun -- one bite, one sip, one more bite, and suddenly the table is full of happy people. The sashimi platter was fresh and beautifully served over ice. There was a nice variety, including tuna, salmon, white fish, scallop, and ikura. Everything looked clean and fresh, and the presentation made it feel even more enjoyable. But honestly, the toro was the star. I will probably remember that toro for a long time. My daughter ordered tonkatsu, and that was also a huge hit. Sometimes at restaurants like this, kids' dishes can feel like an afterthought, but this tonkatsu was really good. It was crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. Seeing my daughter enjoy her food made my birthday dinner even better. As a mom, when your child eats well and is happy, the whole meal suddenly feels more peaceful. That is just the truth. Overall, Hachi started with a little frustration because of the reservation issue and the small table, but the food and drinks completely saved the night. The icy-cold beer, the amazing tuna toro, the juicy shrimp skewer, and the tonkatsu were all memorable. The food was strong enough to make us forget the rough beginning, and by the end of the meal, we were all happy. Las Vegas has so many flashy restaurants, but Hachi has that casual, comfortable izakaya charm. It is the kind of place where you order many small dishes, share with the table, drink something cold, and let the night slowly become fun. I would definitely come back next time I am in Las Vegas. Next time, I already know what I am ordering first: an icy-cold beer and tuna toro. And honestly, I may order the toro twice from the beginning, because one order is definitely not enough.

This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. We had a choice for bar or table and we chose table. It was tucked in a corner so it felt intimate for me and husband. Menu was filled with some of our faves and some new things we never tried. Skewers were great esp the Wagyu- it was so good and tender. We enjoyed the agadashi tofu with was one of our faves here. Food was overall delicious and you can taste the freshness of the fish. We def want to come back and experience their dinner specials. Definitely a place to try if you're in the area
