Stay away from this dealership. I have to agree with other reviewers in not recommending this dealership. I was contacted by Jackie and had a pleasant exchange. I was informed that the vehicle was still available, so I promptly scheduled an appointment for the next day in the afternoon. I received a confirmation text that morning from Jackie. I followed up right away and I asked if the car was still available, tried to confirm the price that had been provided to me the day before, and also tried to confirm that I could take the vehicle to my mechanic for an independent inspection. I asked these specific questions because I noticed that previous reviewers mentioned bad experiences involving bait and switching and price hiking at this particular dealership. A couple of hours went by and I did not receive a response. At this point, I sent a message to Jackie to cancel my appointment and I let her know that I was no longer interested in moving forward because of her lack of communication. Within minutes of sending this last message, I received a response telling me that Jackie would not be in until 1 pm, which is coincidentally the time my appointment was scheduled for, and that the vehicle had already been sold. After seeing this I realized I dodged a bullet. I would have gone all the way out to the dealership to find out that the car had been sold. This place is something else. read more

I don't understand these bad reviews. I was actually shocked to see Golf Mill Ford had anything below a 4-star. Ever since the purchase of my Ford Fusion (which I really love btw (i like this car a lot)), my experience has been a great one. I get free car washes and free smiles from Jonathan Sosa. He still takes care of me even months after the purchase. He must be really good at his job because he remembers all the stories and things I tell him and brings it back up later to ask how things are going. Nothing but good word for Jonathan, if you want to buy a car here, please go to him. No joke, this man is so friendly and honest. The manager on the other hand.. he's a little tricky. Still a nice guy, but does not seem genuine. I picked off very fake vibes from him and seemed that he didn't care about his job outside of work. This is particularly troublesome because you want somebody to be genuinely interested in your purchase as you are spending $15k+ Workers are on strike now, so services are limited but they still seem to take care of my needs however they can. This is what's really driving down the review to a 4-star, but I'll update in the future when things change. (UPDATE) I received word that the old manager is now working someplace else, so don't hesitate to walk into Golf Mill Ford because I only see friendly, happy faces. So.......I came here (in July 2017) because I've lived in the area for 14 years....right on Greenwood... and decided to build my credit with a car loan, since I have very little credit. I've never taken loans before on anything and have noticed my lack of credit causing me trouble. I can afford a big car payment each month and decided to splurge on a new car, because yolo right? Also, I had been renting a car for about 6-7 months since December of 2016...and not only was I spending a pretty penny on renting a car each month the rental company wasn't too pleased with my carjacking their cars for months...time for a change. I went in there with the notion that if they denied me I wouldn't care because I don't and was bracing myself to get denied. The salesman assigned to me was Patrick, he was really cool. Told him I was interested in the Mustang and we went out on the lot. The first one he brought me was a lightning blue Mustang that I instantly fell in love with, took it for a short test drive and loved it. Didn't even care to see any other car. Went back to the dealership and now things were about to get real...would I be approved? Short answer: Yes. I got approved. I'll dish on some things I think people are interested to know about, the price for the car came out to about $36k (including tax), overall I was satisfied, Patrick was a straight-shooter with me which I appreciated. I understand my position as a first-time car buyer with no credit, I'm not in much of a position to negotiate. I just wanted to be treated with respect and not be bullshitted. I'm glad I got Patrick, I didn't go to any other dealerships either before or after visiting Golf Mill and felt I had no reason to. I didn't care to shop around, not worth my time and like I said Patrick was awesome. Also, Patrick took care of my rental and I left it with him at Golf Mill! I didn't have to drive back to the rental company and return it myself, just had to take all my stuff out of the rental and into my new Mustang. Frickin' sweet. All in all, I didn't get any discounts - granted I don't really qualify for any - they tried! - (not a college grad, not military, not senior, not a loyalty customer), what can you do? Terrible experience. Would never buy a car from here again. I purchased a Ford Fusion from this location about a year ago. A few days ago, I got a flat tire on my way to work. I thought to myself, not a big deal I can change it to the spare tire and eventually get the flat tire fixed. Well I thought wrong. When I was trying to loosen the lugnuts on the wheel, my tool would not budge. I ended up calling a tow truck company to see if they could loosen the lug nuts for me. When the tow truck company arrived they attempted to remove the flat tire, but could not because the lug nuts were stripped!! I got my car towed to golf mill ford. When I arrived I asked to speak with the manager and the salesman (Patrick) I had originally purchased the car from. Regarding the stripped lug nuts, they told me that a mechanic could have done this incorrectly. But I had NOT gotten ANY work done on this car since purchasing it from Golf Mill Ford. They had told me that every car gets INSPECTED before it is sold. So my car had failed the inspection? And no one cared to tell me this? They did not do anything about their poor and shady business with me. I will never be returning here again and I advise others not to as well. The sales people are sketchy and they are liars. Do not buy a car from here. They sold me a Toyota Highlander with a blown head gasket and later told me it didn't even go through an inspection. It was an older car with higher mileage, but I still never thought a "reputable" dealership would sell a car with significant mechanical issues. We ended up buying a Nissan Rogue which we never really liked. Although this was 1.5 years ago, it was the worst car buying experience I've ever had. I had stopped in before when I was originally shopping for a truck, and when I told them I am shopping at other dealers, I was told by the sales Rep that "we will match and/or beat any deal on any car". I even got an email from them showing this. So, I found a deal at another dealer, and showed them but they wouldn't even consider honoring price matching. Instead, they tried to justify a ridiculous $10,000 markup on their vehicle. This dealership is not about building relationships with customers. They are just sharks waiting for unsuspecting prey. I had a great service experience at this Ford dealership. I had two recalls on my Ford Fusion and Rick in the service department was patient in helping me work around my schedule to set up my appointment. I also needed new wipers. When they put on premium wipers (I had asked for the cheaper, basic wipers), they didn't charge me any more than I was initially quoted which was nice. The waiting room had a tv, free internet and a nice coffee machine. I was probably only there for about an hour. I plan to go back for oil changes and other services. read more

The people at Golf Mill Ford treated me & my family like garbage once the sale was done. The pre-owned Volvo we were looking at for my son's first car had leaking headlight cases, which we noticed right on the lot. When we expressed concern about this, both the Golf Mill Ford salesperson and floor manager promised me that if we bought the car that night, their service manager would order the required headlight covers and install them, free of charge. And like a blithering idiot, I actually believed them, and bought the car. After I didn't hear back about the headlight covers for a couple of weeks, I tried to call them numerous times, but never received a callback. Finally, I drove out to Golf Mill Ford to inquire, face-to-face, with the floor manager. Like a kid caught with his hand in a cookie jar, Golf Mill Ford's floor manager "explained" that the service manager at the time of my sale, an older woman, had been fired for "exactly stuff like this," i.e., not following up with promises made to customers. He went on to tell me that they had hired a "real professional," and that he, personally, would "get right on it" and order the parts for me, as promised two months before. Another two months without a word from Golf Mill Ford. One morning, about two weeks later, I get an email from Golf Mill Ford, announcing that the Volvo I bought from them was "due for service." Surprised that they would actually have the chutzpah to ask me for more of my hard-earned money by in their service department, I called the salesperson again (this time giving the receptionist a different name than my own), and got him on the phone. Sheepishly, he apologized for the "misunderstanding," pulled the sales record, confirmed that the parts were never delivered, and told me he'd talk to his boss (the infamous floor manager), and get back to me "ASAP," making it abundantly clear the whole thing wasn't his fault because he had no decision-making power at Golf Mill Ford. I asked him if he had enough "power" to "decide" whether or not to return an unhappy customer's repeated phone calls, whereupon he fell silent. Another week goes by with no call from Golf Mill Ford. Huge surprise, right? Now approaching exasperation, I tried calling Golf Mill Ford again (this time pretty much knowing no one would call me back), and also sent an email expressing my frustration. To my utter surprise, I got an email back from a seemingly nice young woman who told me that she only ran the Internet Department at Golf Mill Ford (i.e, "no decision-making power"), but that she understood my frustration and would be sure to forward my concerns to -- you guessed it -- the floor manager. Two more email exchanges with her have still not yielded so much as a breath of attention from the manager(s) at Golf Mill Ford. My final email to them was to inform them that I would be filing complaints against them, and that I had no intention of letting this go until they made good on their promise. Thee is absolutely no way I'm letting Golf Mill Ford treat me & my family like this and get away with it. No. Way. My next call is to the BBB, and we'll take things from there. I advise anyone doing business with Golf Mil Ford not to believe a word their salespeople or (especially) their floor manager tells you, and get everything, down to the last, most minute detail of your transaction detail in writing and/or on tape, should you need to take them to court (which it would appear Golf Mill Ford has left me as the the only civilized avenue of recourse). Bottom line: based on what they've put us through, I have to believe that Golf Mill Ford openly, willfully and repeatedly lied to me on several occasions, then hid from me when I tried to get them to fulfill their promises. I don't trust any business that doesn't care at all about the health of their customers and is not in control of their business enough to institute policies and ensure employee compliance. Recently went in to test drive a vehicle and almost none of the employees were properly wearing masks. Most had them around their neck, others had their noses exposed.
