I have to edit my review and change to 1 star. Took my F-150 to trade for a vehicle for cheaper payments. Salesman Danilo sold me a 2022 Escape financing with Ford Motor Credit with Flex pay financing. Never heard of flex pay but he told me and my husband several times, we could pay for the first 36 payments and then we could turn in the vehicle and walk away without owning anything else. Not true. Julia in financing, when we were signing the paperwork said the same thing Not true. Would never sign the contract where the rest of the loan payments higher than my F-150 payments. This was my 4th vehicle from this dealership and will be my last due to the lack of credibility and how I was treated. read more

I considered going back but prefer CarMax due to no-haggling guarantee and variety of stock. Purchased an F150 fromGolf Mills. While the vehicle is great, the experience was shocking. It was An incredibly pushy sale process that i wouldnt want anyone else to go through. My wife actually cried afterward. We spoke with GOlf Mills leadership about our experience multiple times but the best they did was to offer 2 free service visits. Never an apology. Neither "free" visits were logged and I never bothered with the second one after having to fight for the first. Fast forward two years, I needed a service and happened to be driving by, figured why not try and see. I walked out without a service after two service people were extremely rude. (one service guy not wearing a mask despite signs all over) Save yourselves the hassle, wish I had bought the vehicle elsewhere and recommend you all to do the same. read more

Terrible experience! After waiting 5 months for our newly ordered car, putting down a $1000 deposit, signing a retailer's buyers agreement, and taking it for a test drive today, we were told the price increased $4000. (Not including taxes and interest). Dealer insisted he had no control over the price increase, refused to honor our agreement or call the manufacturer to settle the price change. We called the Ford manufacturer who told us the price was up to the dealer. We told the dealer this and he still would not sell it to us for our agreed upon price. Ridiculous! Disgusting! I called to verify that the car I was looking for was on site. I was assured that it was and they verified the price. After scheduling an appointment, they confirmed via text the cost of the vehicle. After my test drive, I was prepared to buy the car. However, the salesman walked me over to a different car to show me a sticker that "also applied to my car" saying that due to supply and demand there is a mandated $5,000 up charge, above the listed price on the vehicle. I showed him the text I had from the night before from their dealer confirming the price, but they said every Ford dealer is doing this "additional charge". Funny though, left and went to a different dealer, got the same vehicle with no hidden $5,000 up charge. Just saw an article from Ford that they are hearing of dealers engaging in bait and switch behaviors, which is against the dealer-Ford contract. Don't waste your time or the drive to go here, unless you like being charged an additional five thousand dollars. read more

My does Explorer is a year old and having technical problems. I had them inspect during oil change and they told me everything was fine. Now my cruise control won't work, lane assist won't work, crash collision won't work and software updates not downloading. Made an appointment online and tried to talk with service about getting a loaner since my car is under warranty and they said they need to keep it for a few days. Would not give me a loaner would not return my phone calls (made more than 5 attempts) horrible service department and regretting buying ford. It was barely even a week when the steering wheel stopped working and they asked me to pay for it to be fixed . I mean just spent so much money on buying a car and in a short time it's damaged I was sold a car, everything is not valid, unfortunately, very much. Once the truck came in they tried to charge me way over MSRP and also went behind my back to call other other potential buyers to come look at my truck and buy it. When I called to schedule an appointment due to a recall, the receptionist in the service department was horrid. After emailing the dealership regarding my encounter, I was contacted by phone within the hour. On the day the appointment, Mr. Steve Duke took care of me. He was very friendly and professional. The service department was able to take care of the issues within a reasonable amount of time. Since then, I brought my car in for an oil change. The service was again exceptional. I had an appointment at 4:15pm today to look at a used vehicle. I emailed the night before and then called at 2:00pm to confirm the vehicle was still available. Jackie(the internet sales person) put me on hold to verify it was still at the dealership as we were driving from the western suburbs. So my son and I took off work. When we arrived the salesman went to get Jackie and she was already working with another person, so a different sales person said he would take care of us. He asked us to have a seat as he would get the vehicle and then meet us in front. About 20 minutes went by when he drove up with a Ford van. Really!! He said the Nissan had a bad transmission so it was sent back to the auction. I was so discouraged that a dealership would employ these tactics just to get us in and view their customers with such disrespect. read more

After a long search to find a used car for my son, I found one listing showing at golf Mill Ford. I sent a request to verify it was still available. I got back an answer that it was with numerous contacts after trying to see when I was coming in to look at it, Told her I was coming to see it and she expressed interest in making sure she knew when I arrived. I got there and no one greeted me at the door to help me. I went out to try to find the vehicle myself and could not find it in the lot. I texted her the internet mgr that I was in communication with about the used car. So she told me to come back in and ask for her. After arriving back in the front door of the dealership I stood there for practically 5 to 10 minutes with no one greeting me or asking me if I needed any help, finally a young salesman saw me standing there, looking around and asked me if he could help me. So once I identified myself and who I was there to see, he immediately sat me down and said he'll go let her know I was there. She came down greeted me quickly and left. Very impersonal and more of a protocol than honestly being happy to see me. So after walking around the parking lot with the salesman (whom by the way, saved them from getting a one star review) to find out that the vehicle was no longer there that they had gotten rid of it to auction because it needed a turbo. So I had wasted at least a half an hour to an hour of my day driving there to take a look at the vehicle that was no longer at the dealership. They neglected to tell me it wasn't there because they figured they'd try to sell me a different car. With no apology, except from the salesman who tried to help, they are at best unreliable and shady. I do not recommend doing any kind of business with this dealership. Watching the salesman at the managers counter talk to a customer, seemingly friendly, turned away to the other coworkers and rolling his eyes very disrespectful to the public. read more

The dealership is clean and the staff is friendly and great at communicating updates that will delay your maintenance or repair. Recently I went in to trade in my 2011 Ford Escape for a 2018 model. I had been communicating via email with the digital team and they were all easy to work with. When showing up on the day of my purchase I had a list of vehicles that I had found online. The dealership had a wide selection of vehicles but some of the vehicles I had were either difficult to find or already sold. The person I worked with to find the right vehicle and work on the details of my trade was great. Muhammad Pirzada was well educated on the Escape model and helped me understand the difference between trim packages to figure out which one was ideal for me. He also was easy to work with on the details of my purchase. I may have a few more reasons to trade in vehicles in the near future and I will definitely go back to Golf Mill and would recommend to friends looking to purchase that they work with Muhammad. Bought a Chevy express truck from this dealership and within an 1 hour already started to having problems. I took it back to the dealership to see what was the problem. They told me that the water pump needs to be replaced and wanted to change me $1000 to replace it. I am not sure how much their hourly rate is but ok. So I took my truck to Cantic Repair, which by the way is the best mechanic shop and the mechanic told me that the main belt was the only thing that needed to be replaced. The dealership was not willing to work on the price and told me that I bought the truck as is. If I haven't gotten a second opinion I would have lost another $1000 at Gold Mill Ford replacing something that didn't need to be replaced. Misleading, lying, and unethical staff. Margarita contacted me because she wanted to purchase the car I was selling. My price was $18499, for a car in excellent condition. Carmax was selling a very similar one with more miles for 18k. Before I went to this dealership I asked what would be their offer range. Was told that 18499 is more than fair. After coming in for my appointment, a used car manager made me wait an hour before inspecting my car, which was supposed to be only 15min. Margarita never came out of her office to see me. I should have left. Manager told another sales person his offer and then disappeared. LOL. Playing hide and seek with me. Offer was 10k. When I asked for more details, the sales person was showing me cars on cars.com that had twice the mileage and no packages on a car for 13k. This dealership is a complete joke.
