Landed at LAX. My son in law picked me up and we were both ready for lunch. On his recommendation he brought me to Good Stuff in El Segundo. Street parking, and a fun beach town vibe walking up to Good Stuff. We were greeted right away and asked if there was a preference which table we would like to sit, we chose a table. They immediately cleaned it off as the previous customers were just leaving. Our waiter Gustavo was very kind brought us our waters took our food order. The food came in a timely manner, they have a good selection of food. We both opted for salads, fresh crisp. Just enough of a salad plate with no leftovers. I ordered a coffee milkshake with my meal. We were so busy catching up and enjoying our salad that I completely realized they did not bring out the shake until we were ready to leave. We did ask the waiter and he apologized profusely and brought the shake to go. It was absolutely yummy. read more

Only been here once but I'm definitely coming back! I got the BAE burger and it was full of flavor. The potatoes on the side were cooked perfectly. Street parking right out front but I could see how this could be difficult later in the day. I stopped by bright and early so parking was not an issue. Being a new "dad" (2 weeks in), this was my first experience going to a restaurant with my nephew in a stroller. I had no idea what to do, but was trying to find the best situation for our party of 5+ a stroller. Instead of asking the staff to accommodate this request, I proceeded to ask a couple to move the table, which they did, and it interrupted the flow and reservations of the restaurant. I regularly visit Good Stuff on the weekends, typically the Redondo or Hermosa location. However, the last 2 times that I have gone have been to this, El Segundo location. Both times that I came I had the same server, Jorge. Jorge recognized us from our last visit and welcomed us with his infectious happy energy. The service here can not compare, we truly feel taken care of. We decided to be fun and switch up our usual order and Jorge recommended some plates and they were 10/10 recommendations! Established in 1979.

Good Stuff Restaurants's history began with Cris Bennett, who worked as a busboy and had big dreams. In 1979, Cris' dreams became real. He and his father started the first Good Stuff restaurant: a little burger place in West L.A. It was a hit, everybody loved to eat at Good Stuff. Soon he expanded to Hermosa Beach, making his second success. Time passed, and the cities of Redondo Beach, El Segundo, and Palos Verdes were all given a Good Stuff establishment. While each of the Good Stuff locations are different, they have the same core values of great service, tasty food, and healthy options. Our theme is consistent: we offer Good Stuff. Cris Bennett pursued his passion for hospitality at the University of Denver, earning a business degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Driven by his childhood dream of owning a restaurant, he turned that vision into reality—now proudly operating four thriving locations. For over 45 years, Cris has built Good Stuff Restaurants into a South Bay institution, known for delicious food, warm hospitality, and a commitment to health-conscious dining. Unfortunately, the steak arrived closer to medium-well. As a result, it was noticeably drier than expected, which took away from the delicate flavors and overall experience I had hoped for. The cocktails, however, were excellent and met my expectations, so I have no complaints there. My fiancée ordered the Siciliana pizza, but unfortunately, the center was undercooked. We brought this to our server's attention, but there was no follow-up afterward to address the issue. That was particularly disappointing given the quality and reputation I would expect from a restaurant that is recognized from Michelin.

It's an unassuming spot in a corner of a strip center that you could easily miss. It's the cutest space with indoor and patio seating as well as a few bar spots, good for solo dining. We started with the meatballs and Caesar salad. The meatballs had a crisp sear outside that gave way to a soft inside. So good with the tomato sauce and arugula. The Caesar had a touch of spiciness and was dressed with toasted bread crumbs, a nice touch. I had the bolognese. It was tender and meaty and the pasta had the right amount of bite. This was even great leftover the next day. The Meyer lemon pie was the perfect closer. DineLA was the right call to bring me in to to try this gem of a spot.

Following a red-eye flight to Los Angeles, I recently visited Good Stuff Restaurant in El Segundo. The restaurant is situated at the corner of Grand and Richmond. I opted for the California omelette. Made with cage-free eggs, it featured a perfect blend of applewood smoked bacon, creamy avocado, earthy mushrooms, and melted jack cheese. The omelette was served with crispy hashbrowns and two delicious strawberry and Oreo muffins. Served warm, the strawberry and Oreo combination created a perfect balance of sweetness. The muffin exterior had a slight crispness, giving way to a moist and tender interior. The breakfast menu offers a diverse range, from classic eggs benedict to the tempting cinnamon roll french toast. For health-conscious diners, they have options like the vegan tofu scramble and beach body omelette. The loco moco, a Hawaii island favorite, was also a delightful surprise. The anytime lunch or dinner menu is equally impressive, covering everything from street tacos to burgers and more. The restaurant boasts a clean, casual, and bright atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was fast, friendly, and the portions were generous. I lucked out with street parking, but there's also a convenient lot adjacent to the restaurant. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Good Stuff is a must-visit. I dont live in El Segundo but I happen to be here. We walked in and the hostess greeted us with a smile but was direct. She told us it would be a 15 minute wait. Really it only 10 minutes. They left us with coffee and water. When we were called in, we were seated in a booth. Very quickly our waitress, Tessa greeted us. She asked what we wanted to drink. I just wanted water but my sister's wanted Apple juice. My mom got a bloody Mary, she said it was okay, not great. My sisters also got those kids coloring pages. Then we ordered. I got the traditional burger with brioche, chedder chese, and onions; no tomatoes. We also got the special 3(chilaquiles), the carne asada breakfast, the Mac and cheese, and the french toast. The burger was good but not great; it was well done but I didn't request it to my liking. She didn't ask. The waitress came with a plate of chilli burritos instead of the chilaquiles. Tessa said she heard chilli burrito instead of chilaquiles. It's okay though because the chilaquiles came soon after. My mom said they were good. Also the carne asada was seasoned well. My sister got the Mac and cheese, she said it was fine. My other sister got the French toast. She said it was good. Overall the was.... good stuff (haha) I guess but a bit pricey. read more

If i could give 0 stars i would. Wait staff was terribly rude. Several walked past without acknowledging us. When i had to get up to ask for just a glass of water, the (i don't even know if "wait staff" is the correct term since no one actually seemed to be doing anything on task but talking with each other) I'll just call them the "people wearing black shirts with a blue text" or "pwbswabt" for short, anyway the pwbswabt still did not a thing to even pretend to get water or any type of food. I spoke with the manager who had nothing but vague excuses and everyone knows that excuses are just tools of the incompetent that build monuments of nothingness. Save an hour out of your day and skip this place. So easy to get food in LA and actually get food and not just a view of pwbswabt socializing with their older male customers for a tip. The ladies at Sam's Hofbrau are actually more dignified in their pursuit of the tip. Hope this saves someone the pain of having to lose their morning and not even getting a glass of water. read more

My husband and I have enjoyed Good Stuff for years in all of their locations! Today we dined in El Segundo. First off free parking! That's nice especially for a beach community. Next was the friendly and accommodating service. Right when you walk in the door you feel welcomed. This feeling continues thru the dining experience. The restaurant really feels like it is part of the community. Staff seemed to know just about everyone dining there. My husband tried the Buffalo and Quinoa and absolutely loved it. It was very unique and different, I tried a bite and it was amazing! I had the Bo's Salad with chicken, almonds and dates! Yummy and light. Perfect combination of flavors. We will be back! read more

My girl and I like coming here on Sundays for brunch. The service is always great, and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive every time we come in. The food is consistently good, the portions are solid, and the prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of places nearby. I usually come here for breakfast, but their lunch options are really good too. It's one of those reliable local spots you can casually come to whether you're grabbing a quick bite before work or sitting down to relax for a bit. Is this place a joke? Egg substitute- fake butter that doesn't melt- thin raw bacon. And horrible pick up service. They only place order when you walk in to pick it up. They leave you standing in the middle of the restaurant like a idiot for :20. I HATE THIS PLACE because they are LOWEST quality. and ps- 28$ for 2 eggs bacon toast and breakfast burrito. I took a bite and immediately tasted something sour when I started chewing it. At first I thought it was just the ham, but I'm not entirely sure, since it was covered in hollandaise sauce. It also lacked flavor overall. The only thing I liked was the poached eggs. The pork chop with eggs ($18.99) was extremely dry, difficult to chew, and very bland. It didn't seem seasoned at all. We ordered a side of gravy to help, but I didn't realize it cost an extra $3. I wouldn't have ordered it had I known, especially since it didn't improve the taste or texture of the pork chop. The pancakes were oddly eggy and didn't taste like pancakes at all. As for the hash browns, I didn't realize hash browns could taste bad, but these were mushy and almost slimy. Half of them were heavily seasoned, while the other half was bland. Even the ketchup didn't help because it only made them mushier. Overall, the server was nice, but I wouldn't come back here for the food.
