I have tried the white rice, Chili Basil, green curry, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and egg rolls. All very yummy. I get everything extra spicy with a side of chili because the level of spice at least for me is a bit light.

My half eaten won tons tasted bc I couldn't wait to dig in!

The place is small but clean and cute! I ordered a small won ton soup and egg fried rice. The soup was flavorful and the won tons tasted so fresh! The fried rice also had delicious flavor, and was not overly salty or oily. Food came out quickly and the server was nice. The small was the perfect amount if you're someone who doesn't eat too much or if you just want a snack

This fulfills my Pad Thai craving. They kindly accommodate my request for a slice of lime. A bit of Lime on top of Pad Thai is a delicious combo. This gives me more home cooking vibe - it's comforting! All Day Special - Stirfry Chicken - Straight forward in taste. The broccoli and chicken have just the right amount of seasoning and sauce. Found this little spot randomly while in the area. Food was pretty good. Service alright. They were busy so food came really late. However they did give us a complimentary appetizer while waiting. So we thought food was worth the wait. Except for my son and I didn't feel well afterwards. It's a very small place with about 5-7 tables or so. Bathroom is in the kitchen and no changing table if any parents are wondering.

The place is cute and is in a plaza with parking. You have to time it right because sometimes the parking is full. This has become the local Thai place where my bf and I eat Thai when we are craving it. The pricing is great, the food is fresh and the place is clean! Came here randomly because it popped up on yelp. Cute little place in a small plaza with parking. I ordered the lunch combo with panaang curry and a chicken pad thai. Prices are okay and expected for this part of LA. I thought the Pad thai was kinda mid. I wouldnt get it again. the noodles were not chewy and were really soft and the tamarind flavor didnt really pull through at all. I think their other noodle dishes will probably be better. The curry was okay, but again I thought flavor was lacking a bit and the curry was broken too. I want to come here again because the service was really nice and its an okay price. Def recommend to try once . Just dont get their pad thai.

On my way home from Westwood, decided to stop by for some Thai! This place is small, intimate and gives off a home"y" feel. The lady that greeted me was so sweet! I inquired on a few items and she gave her honest opinion and offered other options which I appreciated. Food came out piping out and was so delicious! This Pad Thai had a different unique flavor than I've tried in another pad Thai and I was pleasantly surprised. Not pictured here is the Thai tea boba and chicken wontons that were both amazing! Stopped by and grabbed the all-day special for $12, a total of $15 after taxes. Place is small but welcoming with customers coming in and out continuously. Looks like takeout option is the most popular vs sitting in. Food is flavorful and tasty, will definitely stop by again!

Tried Good Thai Kitchen today for the first time. We ordered through grubhub for take out and it was quick and easy. Super nice lady up front. They have a $12 all day special. A meal that comes with a side of rice and egg roll. The food was good but the portions were small compared to what I'm used to. Of course this is given the fact I got the special. I'm sure if I ordered the entree it would have been more of a portion. But overall good spot

Thought I'd give this place one more try, but after receiving my food I don't think I'll be coming back. Portions are way too small. Ordered some yellow curry with shrimp that came out to be 20$... literally only had like 4 shrimps and was packaged in a small ass container.

My best friend and I absolutely love this place!! The owner, AJ, is absolutely wonderful and the food here is phenomenal! Our go-tos are the chili and basil with ground chicken, the pad kee mao with fried tofu, the tom yum with chicken, and the chicken satay. We absolutely loved our meal here and will be back. As long-time customers of Hot Thai, which closed in January of 2024, we are so thrilled that AJ opened a new restaurant. Good Thai Kitchen is a perfect, casual, delicious spot. The service is fantastic, and the food is to die for. We are so happy our favorite Thai spot is back and better than ever!

Ordered on uber eats plates are about 20 dollars and the portions are small for all of them. Ordered the orange chicken, pad Thai, and small sea food soup. Orange chicken had barely any sauce on them and was the portion amount of a Panda Express side. The pad Thai was okay, and the soup lacked flavor. The craziest part about this as they charge for utensils. They send all my 3 plates with no fork, sauces, not even a straw for my Thai tea. Will never order from here again read more

Food here was absolutely delicious! We had the chicken satay, egg rolls, spicy leaf chicken and beef, orange chicken, spicy seafood soup and shrimp fried rice, EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD!! Exceptional food! Everything tastes fresh, healthy, and flavorful. I ordered the pad see ew and the orange chicken as a taste test for a faculty meeting, and everyone at my school started making individual orders, aside from what we'll be ordering for our HOLIDAY PARTY, on the spot! I'm inside the restaurant, now, to place our orders. I can truthfully report that the plane is very clean and the staff is super friendly, helpful, and professional. Even though the restaurant is not that big inside, and is located in a small corner plaza, the interior looks and feels relatively spacious and inviting. Good Thai Kitchen is my new favorite restaurant. They have an all day special and it is a great deal, you get rice, an egg roll, a potsticker, and a main dish for $10. The potsticker has chicken in it, but the egg roll is vegetarian and they're happy to give you two egg rolls if you don't eat meat. The food was all very tasty and fresh, and they didn't skimp on the tofu like other places do. There's free parking out front and some seating inside, they also offer pickup and delivery. I ate at the restaurant and the guy working was very kind and attentive. The restaurant itself is pretty low-key, nothing fancy but it's cute and cozy. Overall, between the price and the taste, I don't think this place can be beat. I just hope they stay affordable as they continue to grow. read more

Sweet spot in n koreatown, Parking lot but parked near the restaurant in the neighborhood. Close to that big bbq place- good alternative to the long lines next door. Great price for the combo good portion. Th owner I think and server/service was excellent and he good jokes/humor. Nice inside, nice date night spot. Omg I'm so glad I came here! Was running a few errands near by and of course I had to yelp a near by spot. I was craving Thai! Upon walking in my mom and I were greeted by such a sweet lady and sweet man! They said to sit anywhere so we did. Omg she recommended the seafood soup and the pad see ew! Oh my it was delicious! Came here on a whim with my husband and son. We were driving back home and saw the restaurant. We love Thai food so we decided to check it out. This place used to be a latin inspired ramen place but I am happy that it was replaced with a thai restaurant. 5 stars for the server's hard work and hustle (i'm assuming she's the owner) 5 stars for ordering convenience (digital!!) 4 stars for the food 3.5 stars for wait time (understandable) We came around 8:30 pm on a Friday night and it was a busy night for them. The restaurant itself is super small so people have to wait outside when they're busy. There were a few delivery drivers waiting as well as people who ordered take out and dine in customers. The lady who was serving and taking orders was working very hard! Everyone was waiting patiently for their orders and yes it was taking a bit long for everyone's orders to come out including ours but we understand because she was the only one running everything!. We waited 30 minutes to start eating so she offered us egg fried rice and gyozas for the wait time which we truly appreciated. (They were yummy!). We ordered their $10 pad see ew plate and $20 (large) seafood tom yum soup. It wasn't the best thai food we've had but decent enough!. It could have been an off night because my pad see ew tasted a *bit* bland. The tom yum was pretty good but wish they added more seafood. Price for their special plate is affordable for sure but maybe either lower the price on tom yum or add a bit more seafood :) overall I think we would come back to support the business and whenever we crave thai food. Hopefully the pad see ew has more flavor the next time we come back! Thank you Good Thai Kitchen! We have leftovers for a day or two :) read more

The owners are really sweet and friendly. I loved the mango sticky rice. Good portion, the mango is sweet and soft and the rice sticky and sweet. I didn't like their fried rice. It smelled too much of eggs. Great lunch specials. Decent food. I've ordered twice and the food is always ready when I get there. Parking sucks, it's a very small parking lot. read more

Stopped by Good Thai Kitchen for the first time a few days ago, and tried the all-day special Chicken Pad Thai, which comes with rice, an egg roll and a fried pot sticker. I also had their Thai iced tea, which came in a big glass with plenty of sparkling ice. Food was great, and the price was even better, $10--hard to beat! Perfectly portioned. Over the last 4-5 days I have tried no less than 2 dozen times to call the restaurant during proper business hours to order food for pick-up as I often do. The phone rang and rang to no avail. I live too far from the restaurant to just pop up and place an order so I rely on calling ahead. I have been a customer of this restaurant for at least the last 9 years and have almost never had the aforementioned experience. Though I do recall not being able to get a call through several times on one or two occasions in the relatively distant past. Today I was finally able to get a call through and began placing my order which includes shrimp. I ALWAYS request the tail (with shells) to be removed from the shrimp as I find it quite difficult to enjoy my meal if I'm constantly having to pick off shells with my hands. It's unsanitary and messy. Removing the tails from 15-20 shrimp prior to adding to an entree or soup should take no more than 60 seconds and that's if one is moving at a glacial pace. However, today I was told that the kitchen was too busy to honor my request. I assured the lady taking my order than I was a loyal customer and make this request will every order I place and it is always honored. She repeated her claim that the kitchen was too busy and refused to do it. I cancelled my order and ended the call. Now I usually order food from the restaurant 4-5 times a month and usually spend about $65 each time not including tip. That is approximately $325 per month of my hard earned money that I give to this restaurant in exchange for great food and service. I am appalled and quite upset that having been a loyal customer for almost a decade and spending as much money there as I do per month that they could at least honor my patronage by simply taking an additional 60 seconds in the kitchen to make my meal more enjoyable. Her refusal to do such a minuscule task has deeply soured my experience with Hoy-Ka not to mention the fact that I could not reach the restaurant for almost a week by phone for no apparent reason. I will not be going back to this restaurant until they rectify this situation.

Philippe the Original has been doing things the right way…read morefor generations, and my latest visit reminded me why it remains one of my favorite places in Los Angeles. I stopped in just before the lunch rush--a good strategy, especially on a Dodgers game day--and everything clicked from the moment I walked in. The first thing that caught my eye was Elizabeth carving lamb right off the bone and building my French Dip sandwich in front of me. That's not theater; that's the way they've done it for years, and I loved every minute of it. The lamb dip was outstanding, just as I remembered. Add a crisp pickle, a side of coleslaw, and a Miller Genuine Draft, and you've got a lunch that doesn't need any fancy introductions. The sawdust on the floor may be gone, but the personality certainly isn't. Philippe's still feels like old Los Angeles. People share tables, strike up conversations, and enjoy a meal without anyone rushing them out the door. Then there's something you almost never find downtown anymore--free parking. That's worth mentioning all by itself. Could I explain why I'm giving Philippe's five stars? I suppose I could. But when you have friendly people like Elizabeth, a fresh lamb dip made right in front of you, reasonable prices, free parking, and more than a century of Los Angeles history, what more could you ask for? You may have seen this review, or a version of it, in one of the local publications I write for. I always pay for my own meals, and my opinions are my own.

First of all, the vibes are sooooo good! From the dope music to the staff, I felt at home walking in the door. I love how the restaurant has an open air feel to it, where even when sitting inside, you're also right next to the outdoor spaces. I ended up sharing the Taiwanese popcorn chicken with my husband and ordered the wonton noodle soup. The soup was pretty good and fresh, but popcorn chicken stole the show! Just delicious. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who took our order and told us to look for any spot we'd like. The Dan Dan noodles came out quick and was delicious. The noodles had a nice chewy texture and the thick peanut sauce and chili oil that coated it made it super scrumptious. The freshness of the cucumber and herbs cutting through the rich sauce balanced it out. The pan fried pork buns however were rather forgettable. The meat was juicy but I was left wanting more flavour in both the meat and the buns. I also wish the bottoms were a bit crispier. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to try their breakfast menu and other items though. Because peeking at the other tables they offerings looked delicious.

I can't say enough great things about Good Thai Kitchen! From the moment we walked in, the owner and her family made us feel like we were dining in their home rather than a restaurant. Their warmth and generosity truly set this place apart. Now, onto the food--everything was absolutely amazing! We ordered Pad Thai with shrimp, chicken noodle soup with added ginger, eggplant stir-fry with beef, and crab fried rice, and each dish was packed with incredible flavor. To top it off, we had mango with sticky rice, which was the perfect sweet and creamy ending to our meal. The ambiance is just as wonderful as the food! It's a cute, inviting space with plenty of seating, and I loved the TVs displaying rotating pictures of the menu. The menu itself is also filled with photos of the dishes, which makes ordering so much easier--such a great touch! If you're looking for authentic, delicious Thai food served with genuine hospitality in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place to be. I can't wait to come back! read more
