Employees were very nice and patient while I looked at the menu to decide what I wanted and the drink came out pretty quickly. 10/10 customer service Cup they give you is cute and relatively big for the price, the smoothie was perfect nice and sweat but not overly sweet like when they only use syrups. Not sure if this is under new management or not as the interior looks a little different. Either way, their boba wasn't great back and it's still not the best. I ordered the lychee black tea with boba. The drink had a spoiled taste to it. I don't think it's the boba. Might be the lychee syrup. Or could be the black tea. Not sure, but not great. It was overly sweet, so I had to wait for the ice to melt so that it would water it down a little. One other that I did not like is that they only take cash and no credit cards. They do have a QR code for Zelle, but Zelle is not the safest thing to use. I do appreciate that they have a Zelle option, but who carries cash anymore. This place looked very odd. You walked in and were greeted with a tiny lobby with a massive plastic " covid tarp ". I guess that's what it was. There were what looked like menu boards on the wall but nothing on them. It looked like it may have been a cool place at one time. They had enough boba for 2 drinks. I went in and they blocked off everything so you need to ring the doorbell on the table and someone will assist you. I got the pot plant milk tea and when she said the total was $7 I was shocked at how expensive it was. I checked the menu and it said $6.50 so I'm guessing plus tax but still, it was too pricey. After receiving my pot plant milk tea I saw all the toppings inside such as boba and pudding. I didn't want all of these toppings in my drink but I guess it's included? I didn't ask the lady to remake my drink because of my own misunderstanding and it took a while to get my drink. Besides the price I was upset that boba had no flavor. Not a bad place! This is such a hole in the wall and it is cash only which is the only bummer. I love how it is super cheap and the decor is super cute. I think this place reminds me of the mother land of Hong Kong and just a different place than going to Half & Half and Ten Ren. Not much seating here and a tad dirty but hey, I'm not complaining since its super cheap. I ordered two boba milk teas but they ran out of boba. Keeping in mind, I went at 7pm and they close at 9pm which is sort of early. Either way, all was good and milk tea will suffice. Its not a bad flavor and its just how milk tea should be. We highly recommend visiting for their consistently good boba milk tea drinks and the lucky cats of good fortune! Their new decor and added booth seating is perfect for grabbing a quick snack - popcorn chicken for $4 - enough for several people to share!! Please see my pictures of the updated seating area with the cute lucky cats as decoration! We have been back over 10 times, and if you collect enough stamps (even from one order), you get a free suitable gift - full sized cup or cute spoon! On Atlantic in Alhambra near the 10 freeway. Parking is horrible in this plaza. Minimal and tight spots. A hole in the wall joint. It has a very cozy atmosphere. A family that walked in after us knew the owners and it felt like they've known each other for years. A very small place with one table, a bench, and a bar-Esk seating area. Not a place to study for all those students out there, but more for those who want a quick drink to quench their thirst. We got a classic milk tea with boba (boba was quite chewy they said) & a almond milk tea with no boba. My almond milk tea could have used a little bit more almond. But that's just me. We also got a HK waffle!. And oh my was it yummy!. The owner said they ran out of batter and needed to make a new one, which I was fine with waiting the 10-15 minutes for a new one since we were waiting on shrimp balls next door. If you like extremely strong and sweet winter melon taste, this is for you. It was NOT for me. I mean, it is not to say this was disgusting, but it was a little too much for me. Not recommended. Their special milk tea that I tried as a sample was actually pretty good (wish I got that one instead). =SERVICE= The service was pretty good. Maybe my friend as I ordered the wrong things - I've actually had Got Boba bookmarked to try their fresh durian smoothie, but I completely forgot and didn't order it this time. I got the mixed fruit green tea - no fruit inside and SUPER sweet!! i forgot to ask for half sugar. My friend got an iced coffee that tasted super burnt and bitter. After shopping for some groceries in the supermarket, we came in and checked out the place. A small but nicely modern interior with a workable payphone. Now where do you do see a payphone nowadays with 90% of America have cell phones. Looking through the menu, I got all excited because a large milk tea cost only $2.85, a regular is $2.20. Probably it's because this place is brand new but where do you find a large milk tea for that price, NOWHERE. (LOL). Making the tea was fast and they are friendly also. I took the first sip of my honeydew milk tea and I like how it tastes. Not so sweet and they were easy on the sugar. I like it that way, not like Tea Station where they pour like 4 tablespoons of sugar. She likes her brown sugar milk tea cos it tastes like brown sugar. LOL. My only problem is the color of my honeydew. The appearance looks like a regular milk tea. Light brown in color but it definitely tastes like honeydew. I would assume it would look light greenish. They should work on the presentation so it lures more customers. But I paid around $6.80 for 2 large milk tea drinks. Not bad. Since this is my second time here in Got Boba because I live like 25 miles away, and it is worth it. Their chicken feet was pretty good, it's just that messy part of eating that I have to struggle with every time I eat one. The posters for their durian smoothie and watermelon drink were really tempting - maybe next time. They only have a few tables inside, and those tables only comfortably seat 2 (although 4 is possible) so I wouldn't recommend it as a place to chill with a lot of friends. For a boba joint in the 626, I had much higher expectations. The first thing you see when you walk in is a scratcher machine and a tiny waiting area that consists of one table and a bench. I could barely tell it was a boba shop, but that's not why I gave them two stars. I ordered a jasmine green tea with boba and my boyfriend ordered a pineapple green tea. There was only one person who ordered before us, but our drinks took a while to come out. My tea barely tasted like tea. I might as well have been drinking sugar water. My boyfriend's drink tasted like the leftover juice you get from canned pineapples. Both our drinks were too sweet and left us disappointed. Maybe they were having a bad day or the person who made our drinks was inexperienced, because I have no idea how this place has four stars otherwise. Would I give them another chance? Maybe. This place.... is meh. First taste of my jasmine milk tea was fine. It tasted a bit watery but still had a nice subtle tea flavor. However, after drinking more sips of it, it all just tasted like artificial sweetener. You know, that distinct splenda / sugar substitute aftertaste that lingers on your tongue... I wanted to give this place a chance but it got even worse when my mom ordered her own drink, and then they didn't even replace it when she found a leak on the cup. We walked over to the car after getting the drinks and realized 1/3 of it leaked out because of a faulty cup. I know it wasn't intentional of them to give us a broken cup, but they didn't even bother replacing the drink; just gave a new cup to my mom to pour remaining 2/3 of the milk tea. Food & Price: a regular suggested we must try the off-menu cheung fun (rice noodle roll) with beef and eggs (+$0.50) and the curry fish balls. For about ~9-10 fish balls, it was $5.50, and they were only okay. The rice noodles were only $4 and much more bang for your buck, but the flavoring can be mild for those who expect more beef and eggs with their order.
