I like how this place has a wall that has everything on the menu. But the milk tea I got wasn't good and it might be some of the worst milk tea I've had. I got the honey green milk tea and the jasmine green milk tea. They are at a cheap price and cheaper than most milk teas I've been to. But i wouldn't ever come here again. The drinks aren't that sweet which isn't a problem. But the flavor isn't there and doesn't taste like anything I've ever had. I can't even distinguish the flavors in them except it taste artificial and not like quality milk tea. The jasmine green milk tea doesn't even really taste like jasmine or any jasmine tea I've ever had in my life. It taste like sugar milk water with the slightest hint of jasmine. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2019 #32 This boba place is average at best. I've been twice and both times disappointed. First, the lady working doesn't speak any English, so she doesn't understand my order. I like to have one pump of lemon in my winter melon tea but we just couldn't get on the same page about it, so I resorted to getting something else. My go to place for boba-well when I'm in town. The first time I went was with my sister and brother and we had the jasmine milk tea, taro milk tea and the peppermint milk tea. The Jasmine and the taro were very delicious and the drinks were rich. But the peppermint was a little too minty and we had to water it down. But the boba had perfect texture and sweetness. I got their Lemon kumquat tea and popcorn chicken. The total is $8 something for a large size tea(with boba) and a lot of popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken is tasty compares to other places, tea is refreshing, and boba is cooked perfectly. The lady and gentleman behind the counter are nice, too. Came here to grab a quick tea on a moderately warm day. Although the store still uses the "Got Boba?" tagline, they actually changed their storefront name to "Svldo Boba" now. Ordered a pineapple green tea with no boba or toppings. It was all right. Nothing particular to write home about but I felt that the pineapple flavor tasted like they used poor quality pineapple syrup concentrate. Prices are okay. Pro-tip: Like many boba tea shops, they offer a rewards program. If you order a drink, they will give you a stamp on their business cards. After ten stamps, you get something like a free drink. Additional stamps (20, 30, 50+, etc.) get you stuff like cups and plushies. read more

I came here for one thing, and one thing only: DURIAN SMOOTHIE! Walking by, we weren't hugely impressed by the decor, and almost passed it up. Then (taking a pause from my Pokemon Go), Yelp told me that not only do they have FRESH durian smoothie, their prices are relatively lower too! Score! The BF ordered a honeydew slush, which was perfectly refreshing, and my Durian smoothie was perfect - creamy and smooth, and I could tell it was fresh durian, not powdered! Prices were great! Boba milk tea starts at $2.45 for a regular (which is already a good size), and the durian smoothie was $4.25(ish). All in all, great prices! read more

Stopped by a couple times when I had a boba craving, and it does the job. The boba is soft and chewy, and the ice cold teas are refreshing on a hot day. Sometimes there are drink specials listed on the chalkboard outside, though it usually only includes a couple items. First time coming here couple of days ago. Ended up waiting about 15-20 mins to line up, order and get our drinks. I ended up ordering their coffee milk tea drink. Wasn't too bad? It wasn't as sweet which I liked but also wasn't cold at all. There was no ice in there which sometimes can be good but I would've liked my drink to be more cold. It tasted like a bit over room temperature. I would probably try to give this place another try but there are other places around the area which are better. Boba had good flavor and the right amount of chewiness. I was impressed that they had Wintermelon Tea there because you don't see that too often. It was unfortunate that they had a homeless man as a patron the store. What I mean by this, I will leave it open to your interpretation in order to minimize how many people are offended. The facts were that he was eating his meal/drink from their shop. Whether or not he bought it or they gave it to him free of charge, I do not know. Many times I am always short in change and the owners would still accommodate my orders. It's hard to find friendly service these days so I really like these people. I love that their promo right now for popcorn chicken is buy 1 get 2nd one 50% off. They also have other appetizers, snacks like egg waffle, chicken wings and fish balls and a few cold dishes. This place is kind of a hole in the wall. The durian smoothie from here is so good! It tastes really fresh and just the right amount of sweetness. A regular sized Jasmine milk green tea runs about $3.65 at places like Ten Rens, but at Got Boba it was only $2.45 including tax! The milk tea was very decent too! Excited about finding a boba place with cheap prices and decent milk teas, I came by again a week later to find it randomly closed when it was suppose to be open according to its schedule. There was no sign on the door indicating where the workers had gone.. I was rather peeved and disappointed. I'll probably will come by again in the future if I'm in the area. My cousin and I were looking on yelp to find a boba shop that we can buy drinks at, so we came across this new store. We decided to give it a chance and we loved it! First, we liked how sweet the cashier was, she was friendly, gave us some time to decide on what we wanted, and gave perfect customer service. Two, we ordered a rose milk tea, 2 honey green teas, and a plum green tea. The rose milk tea was delicious, wasn't too strong, and had the right balance. The honey green teas were perfect to quench your thirst, and was not too sweet or watery. The plum green tea was enjoyed by my mother and said it was delicious. Oh yeah!
