It takes 30 minutes to do a pick up order of one order of Fetuccini. I thought it was a joke but it was not April Fools day. I've bought here a few times. But for a place that only does MOSTLY TAKE OUTS you need to figure out how you can serve more people in a timely manner. I've heard this place is going downhill though with quality and wait times. Also, stop making your cashiers turn the Ipad and stare at us to leave a tip. Remove that option from the Ipad. ITS A TAKE OUT. don't expect a tip. read more

Guicho's is becoming our "go-to" spot for Italian food in the area. We live in Laguna Niguel, but this place is worth the ride. We had the cheesesteak (not a Philly Cheesesteak in any way but still very delicious - try it!), Caprese Panini special and the Fusilli Special. Everything was delicious!! read more

Since review is long overdue but when I went here the building was under construction but they should be done now, hopefully. The two times I've been here I've had their spaghetti and meatballs and turkey sandwich. Presentation wise they look amazing despite being in to go boxes even if you get them for dine in. The spaghetti and meatballs was fresh and that grated cheese melting really takes it to the next level. You'll think it's not enough sauce for noodles and meatballs but it was the perfect amount where none of it goes to waste. The turkey sandwich and the side salad were really light and packed big flavor. I liked how the chopped tomatoes provided a bit of crunch to the salad since there wasn't much texture variety. I'm a fan of Guichos even though you can drive a block down the road where they have more options. They may be a small shop but they have good food and reasonable prices that can satisfy anyone. read more

I went to Guichos today for the first time because the amazing smell was wafting through the parking lot. I placed 2 orders of 3-cheese raviolis. When I got home my daughter said something didn't taste right. I tasted mine and felt the same, but the sauce was very good and the gralic bread was good too. I contacted the owner, Jim, and let him know our concern. He was so nice and understanding and offered to refund our money. I appreciate this level of customer care. Decided to try some new Italian takeout for dinner tonight. When I arrived at the restaurant I noticed that they were very busy with takeout orders, which is exciting because that means a tasty! I am a newbie to this place that had stopped by once before to pick up a menu and check it out. When I came in this evening one of the cashier ladies assisted me in choosing some menu items. She made some recommendations including the spaghetti and meatballs and the chop salad. I ended up getting two orders of spaghetti and meatballs. Five golf ball sized meatballs come in each order. We had three adults to feed total, and we only ate one of our spaghettis because the portions were large! We also ordered the chicken chop salad. This is chopped very small, but I loved the ingredients inside including the amazing balsamic dressing. Our meal came with four slices of their garlic bread (that was lacking in the garlic flavor) but it was tasty as well. This is one of the best Italian takeout places that I've ever eaten at. The portion sizes good the flavor is great, and the prices are fair. You can see the chef cooking it fresh in the kitchen! Prices of our food: $10.50 spaghetti and meatballs $8.50 chicken chopped salad (I think this is a bit over priced, but the balsamic dressing made the salad!) I can't wait to come back and try more. I've driven by very often but never bothered to stop in, what have I been missing?! I ordered an Italian sammich which was delicious and packed with all those familiar Italian flavors! So good! I also ordered a komboocha beer which was light and refreshing! The staff is super nice and friendly and the location is large with lots of space to move around and clean! I will definitely be back! Great concept, friendly staff, terrible Italian food. We have tried this place multiple times because it's so close an convenient to us. Every time it gets worse. Maybe our expectations are too high. But I would recommend paying beforehand unless you enjoy having it announced 6 ft away what you're tipping on to go food (literally turned the screen around and asked which one I'd like 10%, 15%, 20% and on food I haven't gotten). This is the first time I've come here. I was given a gift certificate and found out about this place. I'm so grateful to find this Italian restaurant! The food is to die for! I have never eaten a great Italian food in such a long time. It beats all the fancy Italian restaurants out there. The food is like made by a very authentic Italian cook, imported from Italy! The food is 5 star, my issue is that the wait time for take out at the north SC is way to long. At first I assumed it was short staff which I can understand and would not complain about. But on several occasions staff said it was because of catering, as happened tonight. My view is don't take on catering jobs that will impact your individual customers wait times that can be up to an hour when you call in an order. Guichos Eatery is take out fresh Italian - really tasty dishes that are a cut above standard takeout fare. Tonite we shared two entrees; the Cheesesteak sandwich and the Spaghettini. The sandwich was on a long crusty roll, hollowed out and stuffed with a good portion of thin sliced tri tip, cheese, peppers and onions. The sandwich was very tasty and hit the spot. The pasta was ok, it had fresh garlic and tomatoes and was a bit thin. I like pasta with less sauce so I enjoyed it. This came with two small garlic toasts. Fresh tasting and nice pricing, we will return. Guichos is in a strip mall near Sprouts and Kelly's Donuts. There are some tables inside Guichos to sit and eat your food. read more

Picked up a couple of salads, the grilled shrimp and the grilled chicken - they were both absolutely delicious and very filling! I have also tried the hearts of palm salad with chicken added and that was another winner! The staff is always so pleasant and the eatery has great covid protection protocols - I'd give them more stars if possible! I came here with my friend to get lunch on valentines day! My friend is very picky with italian food, and this place came with a high recommendation. I ordered the italian sub. I also got to taste some of the pasta. My italian sub was perfectly toasty, tasted like a capresse sandwich mixed with italian sub. it was perfect! the pasta, and the mozzarella they used were devine! I so wish I lived close by where I could eat here like all the time, but may be that is not a good thing, considering how much weight I would gain! The place itself is super tiny, with couple of chairs, but if you dont mind, taking your food to go or eat outside, you should be fine! Highly recommend!
