Very fresh and tasty pizza. New York style thin buttery crust hint of garlic and loads of basil. Service was excellent fast and courteous well worth $24

Passing by on the road, you would think it's just another rustic bar with outdoor space. Not knowing it's an Italian restaurant! Overall experience was fairly good. Drink and food was enjoyable and the server I had was fun and vibrant---she gave spots to check out to have good time. Only Concern: The outdoor benches may need to be surfaced for sanitary reasons--I can't imagine how they are able to wipe/clean Parmesan cheese from the cracks of the table properly as my bench was dirty. I would visit again though! Lol

This was my second time here, but didn't get to leave a review last time because I had an issue with my Yelp acct. I had their lunch special Italian Marinara Pasta and I really enjoyed it! It came with garlic bread and salad or fries and garlic bread was yum! Service was great both times - really friendly staff. They had both inside and outside seating. Did a takeout the first time and sat outside the second time. I also got to try my friend's Alfredo pasta - soo delish and will get it the next time i go!

IMO, These are the ratings: Food: 4.3/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4.0/5 Total: 4.26/5.0 The tequila wings. It is really a good flavor.

Food was ok and nothing to brag about. Portions are hearty. Bar service was slow and backed up. Expect to wait. Not a place that can handle crowds or a busy rush. Back room was warm and had gnats flying around. Not a great atmosphere.

Stopped by on Thursday for dinner at Guillermo's. First time here, and checking in was confusing. Regardless, the wait for a party of 4 was 30 minutes which we were ok with waiting. There's a walk up bar with happy hour prices that don't end until 8pm which is awesome. For the price, I was surprised at how good the drinks were. When we were seated inside, we requested to be sat outside because of the bathroom smell. The inside was not pleasant, old and unappealing. Outside seating is lovely with lights and warmers for colder days. For food, we shared the chicken Alfredo and mixed greens salad. The salad was great. The chicken Alfredo was good but not hot. Our friends ordered the calzone which they enjoyed. Portions are large. Prices reasonable. Would love to return and try something else. The kitchen is understaffed so be prepared to wait a bit.

Driving by & all the papel picado caught our eye. There were signs for specials & $2/Modelo. However, when we asked our waitress about this there were no specials. Ugh. Service was good. I ordered a Caesar pasta salad and husband ordered a burger. Hubby enjoyed his hamburger. I hunted for the pasta in my pasta salad. It was fresh but call it what it is! We opted for outdoor seating & there was plenty. Lots of shade & nice vegetation to add to the atmosphere! If you are in the area, maybe check them out for pizza ...! It's a cute spot but just didn't hit our mark today.

I love coming to this place. It's in a historic house so very quaint, & there's a nice outside patio. They have good happy hour options including drinks & appetizer's. The staff are always nice & food is yummy.

This place has great pizza!!! I came by to try the pizza, as it came highly recommended. I ordered a cheese pizza with mushrooms, chicken, beef fajita, and spinach, and it was delicious. The pizza tasted fresh, and it was huge! The service was also great, and food didn't take long to come out. The restaurant looks unsuspecting from the outside, but it's a great spot. It was filled when I came in, and although it is on the older side, the ambiance is very lively. There is no parking since it is located downtown, but it looks like you might be able to find street parking nearby. Prices are very fair for portions and not bad at all. 10/10 would recommend. I love this spot for a good pizza night!

First, thank you to Guillermo's for accommodating my large party of 12! My mom and I hosted an event here for Trinity University earlier this month and the restaurant management and staff were so easy to coordinate with. I filled out the reservation form on their website and that same day a manager called me to confirm the reservation and ask if I had any questions. When we arrived, our table was already ready, which was great! Our waitress did a phenomenal job taking care of every person. The majority of our group ordered the lunch specials. Great, big portions means you can take some home for later! I will say I miss the Pepperoni Ranch Salad - I didn't see it on the menu. Hope it makes a comeback sometime!

The food feels like the chefs were given good quality materials, but had no idea what to do with them. We ordered a funghi pizza to share then a cinghiale, a costine (short ribs), and a dentice (bass). Funghi pizza was the only dish that made coming worth it at all. It had a nice flavor, but if you're expecting the notes of an earthy mushroom flavor, don't. It's just a nicer version of a standard cheese pizza topped with some onions and mushroom. The cinghiale was just stunningly mediocre. The meat was flavorful, but the pasta itself was shockingly bland. It was just so... ok. The dentice was the best of the 3 individual dishes, but it is just what you would expect some average short ribs with random sauce to taste. The costine was just terrible. Salty on the outside, yet flavorless on the inside. Avoid at all costs. The service was passable, but they clearly overwork their servers as one server just handles an entire section and is too overwhelmed to be timely. I came to cheer myself up, but honestly it only made dinner comically worse. I seriously can't imagine what would cause someone to rate this as 5 stars. Maybe if they thought Olive Garden was 4.5, then I guess this would barely be a 5 in comparison? Either way, if you're looking for good food for your dinner, keep looking. You won't find it here.

I started with a Hugo spritz, which was light, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted to kick things off. And of course, we had to end with dessert--the tiramisu was unbelievably creamy and indulgent, with just the right balance of sweetness and espresso flavor. Absolute perfection. Truly every person at the table seemed to love what they ordered -- we had a lot of "you have to try this!" moments being passed around the table. One thing I especially appreciated was the Caesar salad. I noticed another review mentioning the anchovy flavor in the dressing as a negative, but in my opinion, that's exactly what made it great. For me a Caesar should have that briny anchovy depth, and this one tasted freshly made and perfectly balanced. It felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. So we went online and made a reservation. Upon arrival, we had a large round table set for 10 ready for us. Our waiter, Rami, was really nice and worked hard all evening to take good care of us. The restaurant itself is along a quiet area of the River Walk in an old stone building with tons of charm. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a group dinner. As for the food, it was good but not exceptional. I was excited for the Goat Cheese Pizza with balsamic onion, pistachio, and saba. The thin crust, however, was almost too crunchy and a bit tough to eat. The toppings didn't stand out as much as I had hoped, likely because they were overbaked together. Overall, we had a lovely dinner with great service, a charming atmosphere, and good - but not great - food. 4 stars for now. I would return and try again.

However we realized quickly EVERYONE was waiting outside and they had clearly overbooked or had some issue. Finally, after waiting 20 minutes we were sat. The waittress was kind and let us know the kitchen was having some issues so food would be a little delayed between courses. It was about 60 degrees outside and we kindly asked to turn off the outside fans which were on full blast. Once. Then again, and again, and again. After 5 attempts asking various people we gave up and the waitress let us know she couldnt turn them off because their iPad control died. We werent upset at this we were just upset we kept getting different answers and no explanation for our entire 2+ hr meal. We finished the entree and were waiting for the dessert for about 15 minutes until we finally just flagged down a waittress and asked to get the check and desert to go because we were ready to leave. We waited another 10 minutes before someone else brought us our desert but no check. We asked them for the check and then the original waitress came back with our check and another set of deserts. At some point I saw another server who seemed like the manager or supervisor telling another worker to straighten the tables outside so the corners were aligned... needless to say the table alignment was not the issue. Overall just seemed like the restaurant was overwhelmed and there wasn't alot of communication between tables and the staff. It seems the staff was trying their best but the management wasn't handling it well. Would have appreciated more effort into making sure we were taken care of considering the meal for 2 totaled almost 300$. The only reason this isn't a one star is because of the kind waiting staff.

As far as the food, we had the fried mozzarella, which was essentially a log of cheese deep-fried and served over sauce. It was delicious, but the cheese-to-crust ratio was a bit heavy. It was extremely salty and completely inedible, so we had to send it back. The waitstaff was very accommodating and agreed that the salt level was way off, so we replaced it with the carbonara. I'm not sure if that's what authentic carbonara is supposed to taste like, but I did not enjoy it. It tasted burnt to me and had too much pepper. I also didn't care for the shape of the noodles. Last, we had the Americano pizza. It was decent, but nothing to write home about. I just think that if you're going to advertise a pizza with meat on it, there should be more than one piece of sausage per slice. As far as the service, our server was fine.
