This is the second time I've been to this restaurant! It's a cute brunch spot in koreatown. I like the fact that they have a parking lot right next to the restaurant. I am currently injured & in a wheelchair & this restaurant is wheelchair friendly which a lot of restaurants in LA are not! The food is good I had chicken & waffles which was excellent. The atmosphere is nice although they need to hire some more wait staff as we waited a bit to have our order taken but that didn't take away from the good experience as it sometimes does. read more

Best chilaquiles in town! If you think I'm lying, show me somewhere better! Add avocado to it and you have a perfect meal. Came on a Friday at 2:00 and there was no wait and got street parking in the neighborhood behind the restaurant! Food: Spicy burrata BLT- not spicy at all?? And it was really soggy :( the sauce completely soaked the bottom bread. But the hash brick was really great- crispyyy Tater tachos supreme- came out really crispy and warm and the pickled peppers on top were a really great touch Award winning hot buttermilk fried chicken- also very soggy and not spicy AT ALL lol and the salad was just some greens with barely any dressing :( Service- service only came once to hand us water and to give our food. You order and pay through a QR code which was super convenient. Stayed in Korea town the last time I visited LA! Looked for a place ai can grab food and drinks before check in and glad I found this place! Food and drinks were amazing that I even came back the next day! My friend and I got a burger each, a French toast to share and the mimosa flight. It's such a cute and trendy place. H Cafe is one of those places you have to try.. Other than their parking lot being full and street parking being hard to find, this cafe was worth going to. I got their award winning spicy fried chicken sandwich just to see if it holds up to these Nashville hot chicken spots and honestly i give it a 4/5. It tasted great, the slaw was juicy and fresh, and the chicken itself was amazing. The sauce they used was buffalo and I think it gave the sandwich a different vibe compared to the tenders at daves hot chicken. Their coffee mugs were huge. The amount of latte in this cup was more than enough for the day. It was a cold morning so getting this latte was a great way to start the day. Overall 5/5. There was nothing wrong with the place other than parking. A host/hostess will sit you and a waiter/waitress will explain to you how to order using their QR code. I was looking forward to brunch here reading previous reviews and knowing they have free parking (rare dine in LA). I ordered the brunch burrito - was lacking salt and flavor. The salsa verde was tasteless. We ordered the mimosas for 2 people ($35) and they were the best part of brunch. Their system is horrible, all ordering is through your phone which is annoying to scan. To order food, you don't talk to anybody so you can't get recommendations or ask questions. The champagne bottle we had - they did not open for us. I wanted to close out my bill and pay cash and was unable to. NOWHERE on their website or menu does it say they don't take cash. If it was posted or disclosed then I understand, but it was not advertised anywhere. Subpar experience, will not be back. Our bartender was so kind and attentive, their staff is hardworking so that made up for our experience. If you want overpriced avocado toast and cold impersonal service, you have so many better options downtown. read more

Came here Sunday day morning with my mom. Parking is located in a lot onto the side. Checked in on Yelp, arrival wasn't too busy yet. Greeted by a new host, said it was his first day. Once we were sat Frank had came and introduced himself to us. Informed us this was all contactless ordering. You have to scan the barcode then order from your phone. Add a payment to your order so a card will be held. You're able to pay right away or when you are completely finished. They do accept cash at the end if needed. Personally this isn't my style of ordering, I had looked around and everyone is on their phone. We go out to eat to try and not be distracted on our phone. Yet here we area having more reason to be sucked into our devices. Ordered the two egg breakfast- this was great the has browns came as a thick crispy potato square. Tater tot nachos - another great item! Tater tots were crispy! STRAWBERRIES N CREME FRENCH TOAST- DO NOT ORDER THIS! This came out so mushy. Idk how can anyone serve this? You need to really fix this. The table next to us didn't even finish they French toes flight they had ordered. Idk how you can even mess up French toast? Since I had already paid for my order I didn't even bother mentioning this to the server. But a fair warning to you now. The strawberries and crème French toast super soggy! You'll be eating wet bread! Once my mom asked for coffee I had to reorder again on my phone. Cold brew was ok hot coffee was okay. Service was good overall 5 stars for Frank and his gun personality. Really weak service to the point that I could not enjoy my food. My server was less than interested in letting me know what types of waffles they offered and seemed judgmental when I asked. When I asked if I could have something switched out, he made a suggestion but with an attitude like I'm inconveniencing him. Additionally, when I received my plate of food from the food runner she was quick to run off after she dropped them, so I had to flag down my server to get some whipped cream for my strawberries and cream French toast. To top it all off, he never came by once to ask me how I liked my meal and he was always in a hurry to go somewhere else. The ambiance is lackluster and I would avoid sitting outside because eventually you'll have flies hovering around your food. Anyways, I was so displeased with the service and everything that was going on that I asked for the check with more than half of my entree still left on the plate. I had to wait 10 minutes for my check and it was very uncomfortable signing it off on the tablet with the server looking over me. I'm now bitter because I left an 18% tip which I did not feel deserved. Ouch. Lesson learned. read more

Frank and Randa gave great service ontop on on good food. Chicken sandwich with a creamy pesto and cease salad and fries with fried chicken and waffle sandwich. It was all good! Really good to be honest. The waiters were very attentive once our food came out. It did take a while but I already expected that because the food is made fresh. The only concern I would have is wiping the tables down. But as soon as it was mentioned it was handled. Cute little cafe tucked inside H Hotel in Koreatown. The food is pretty pricey for the lack of flavor and quality but they do have a good variety of options and the service is alright. We came without a reservation on Monday afternoon (labor day). There wasn't any staff that was at the desk to help us so we waited until someone came to put us on the waitlist. We waited for about 15 minutes for a party of 2. I ordered the brassica salad and we shared the french toast sampler. The salad had some nice variety of veggies but was pretty flavorless / not dressed well at all. It also came with a few wedges of orange that was poorly cut. The french toast sampler I think should be for kids. It was overly oily, too sugary, and the tastes just didn't blow me away. My favorite of the 3 was the strawberry french toast. My friend got the salmon egg benedict and it looked fine but the english muffin was stale / overly toasted. The server helping us was very friendly but after we received our food, never really came back to check on us again. I had to get up and look for staff to get to-go boxes because no one came to help. One fantastic thing though is that they have free parking! Overall I think my experience was pretty meh here. I don't think I would recommend my friends to try this place, there are plenty of better brunch options in LA. read more
