Disclaimer: It has been just over 3 months so some of my dislikes may have been fixed already. I was really looking forward to this location opening up. Apparently I wasn't the only one. Right at opening there was a good crowd. The service was slow and the salmon and eggs in my smoked salmon frittata were over done.This was probably an under staffing problem. Being a nice morning we opted to sit outside. They share a nice patio with The Sicilian Butcher which are both under the same corporate umbrella so one of them uses it in the morning and the other in the evening. I will most likely at some point come back based on having had better experiences at their other locations. read more

After a decent wait time to get seated we were taken to our outdoor seat. Our waitress took approximately 10 minutes to even greet us and was very rude. She was unfamiliar with menu items which made it difficult for us to decide. We have eaten here numerous times and the food is amazing. Due to this experience we will no longer dine at this establishment until the server staff learns customer service. We will dine at the Arrowhead location from now on. read more

Fun Environment and Great Food Today I was my first visit to Hash Kitchen, I can not say enough good things about this place. The food was delicious and the Environment has a fun vibe. The menu at Hash is packed with a variety of unique options. There is something to satisfy everyone's appetite. On this visit we shared waffles, burrito, cannoli doughnut, fruit bowl, and avocado toast, everything was absolutely delicious, one of my favorites was the cannoli doughnuts, I could have eaten a dozen. Hash has beautiful outside seating with heaters for the cooler months and patio is pet friendly. Service was exceptional, the atmosphere was high energy with a positive vibe. This is definitely a gimmicky kind of place with HUGE mimosas topped with cotton candy, fish bowls and a Bloody Mary bar. However, I don't mind a gimmick if the food and drinks are good- Hash Kitchen does a great job at making good food and beverages while providing a fun atmosphere. We went on a Monday and waited about 30 minutes for a table- this place is BUSY! I don't usually expect to wait for a table at 11am on a weekday, but if you want to eat here, be prepared to wait. Once we got seated, everything was great. I was between the chicken and waffles or the banana split brioche French toast. I am so glad I listened to the server and got the chicken and waffles- it was sweet and savory and DELICIOUS. The fried leeks on top were excellent. I got the Type A+ bloody in a bag and it was so good. It had a nice spice, but not too much and was really well done. They do have a build your own Bloody Mary bar, which I skipped but it looked amazing. You could literally make a meal out of all the toppings you can get for your Bloody Mary- think a build your own charcuterie plus a delicious Bloody Mary. I think I'll go for it next time! I am probably going to stay away from this place on weekends, I don't like having to scream over a DJ at breakfast to speak to my wife.... But I will definitely come back. read more

We just moved to AZ and have already been here twice in just 2 months. Such a fun vibe! They have the coolest Bloody Mary bar and the prettiest shimmer mimosas. Food is DELICIOUS. Drinks are good. But honestly their A/C is garbage so be prepared to sweat your ass off harder than joe Biden around a kindergarten classroom and on top of that they have a DJ playing music incredibly loud. Expect to ask your server "what" about 10 times. I think they are trying to go for a brunch club vibe....not working. Very uncomfortable place to eat!! I wouldn't recommend it. Pros: drinks are strong Cons: hot inside, cold drinks are warm, insanely loud, NOT KID FRIENDLY!! Food prices are not on par with the quality of food. iHop has better food!!!! read more

We want on a Tuesday morning and it was pretty busy but we didn't have to wait at all for a table of 4! They just asked for our whole party to be there! Food - 5/5 The food was super good! Most meals you could share! All are picture worthy, we got 4 different meals and they were all delicious! The avocado toast is massive so be prepared. The eggs Benedict was good I just wish the hollandaise sauce was a little more lemony. The waffle was yummy, pretty hard to mess one up! It came with fresh fruit on top! We also got a egg scramble which was good! We didn't get any drinks but their Bloody Mary bar looked delicious! Would definitely try that the next time around :) Service - 4/5 The hostess was very nice and all the staff seemed super friendly, I just felt like our waitress was not happy to be there. Which I get it sometimes I have those days too, just felt like she took our order and we never saw her again until our food came out. After that she asked us how everything was and then disappeared till it was time for the check. Ambience - 4/5 The moment you walk in it's LOUD which wasn't horrible for me but I definitely would not have wanted to sit inside with the blaring music while trying to catch up with friends! The restaurant itself has a nice theme to it and the music was good just too loud inside to have a convo in my opinion. They sat us outside and the patio is pretty big! They could definitely accommodate some big parties back there, they had heaters as well! If it's a nice day I definitely suggest sitting outside! I loved everything about this place. The food was so good, I remember forgetting my leftovers at the restaurant and when I got home and realized, my day was ruined. The service was fun, our waitress made our morning mimosas one to remember. I think the best part might've been the decor, the urban style lettering surrounded by the grass coated walls made my morning feel clean. Hash Kitchen is such an upbeat place to be and really sets the tone for the rest of your day. With music blasting, their Bloody Mary bar, and some good company you can't go wrong here! Food was amazing, especially the Effin' Huge English Muffin sandwich. Billionaire bacon was a little overrated but still delicious. Breakfast sliders were also great but the bread was a little over toasted. They were packed! For a Sunday this is no surprise but it's totally worth the wait. Some service could've been better as items were forgotten and minor mistakes were made but totally understandable. Didn't see this at the Scottsdale locations but could've been an off day for the staff. Hostess up front was rude to our party and many others which is the reason for the 4 star review but overall had a great time at Hash and certainly will be returning to this location! read more

Our server Rylee and the manager Drew were amazing. We are in town for a baseball tournament and a friend recommended Hash kitchen. We ask Rylee for recommendations! She was super busy and she took the time and both my son and I thought the food was delicious and very flavorful. Best food we have had since we got into town. Best server we've had in a long time. Drew the manager was walking by and we asked for him to change the channel on the tv so my son could watch his buddy play in the college baseball World Series. He didn't hesitate. Great customer service. Service and food was so good we went back again the next day and took some friends. We got there early in order to not have to have the whole group wait for a very long time. I checked in, went to the car, turned the AC on and as people arrived we all sat in the car where it was nice and cool. They sent us a message saying that we need to head over to the restaurant because the table would be ready soon. They had a sit there another 20 minutes or so outside in the heat. It was so humid today on top of the heat and we were just standing there waiting. We would've been better off just staying in the car but they told us to head over. After we asked multiple times they kept saying they were cleaning the table off. When we got to the table it was not cleaned off at all. There was literally still other peoples food and drink on the table so that was not the truth. We sat down and ordered. It was so hot inside as well we were all sweating. Everybody was if you looked around everybody was wiping their face because it was so hot inside even. Got our drinks. They were good but they were warm. The food was OK. Not great but OK. The best part is the atmosphere but the music is incredibly loud you can't hear each other at all. There is definitely something wrong with their check in system and it's like they're just not capable of accommodating that many people at once and they are always busy so something needs to change. They forgot a couple items off of our meal. We had a good time because of the people we were with but other than that I don't think we will be going back read more

I am giving 5 stars because the experience and food always bring us back however i do have some suggestions I think that would help make things even better 1. The vibe in here is awesome! We loved how it was decorated and that you didn't feel too on top of everyone. The service was great too, The food was just ok. We got the farmhouse burger which was good? And then we got one of their hash bowls with the brisket. It was really flavorless and the motzerella was chewy and honestly a weird addition to the dish. Cute environment. Came in on Sunday morning. Took about 15 minutes for a seat at the bar. Do not feel like we received the same service as everyone else at the bar but it is what it is. The mimosa flight was good but the orange mimosa tasted kinda gross which is weird because orange mimosa is the standard flavor everywhere. My eggs were overcooked and tasted like rubber but i was hungry and waiting for a redo was not something on my to do list today. Stopped in for brunch with a friend and had such a good experience! The outside patio is where we sat, they have fans and misters to keep you cool. The ground under the tables is turf which gives a very chill vibe. We ordered their mimosa flight which all were delicious, they did come out a little warm but still enjoyable with their flavors. Then we ordered a Bloody Mary to share since we saw it delivered to a table nearby and it was absolutely perfect! They have bacon salt and 4 options of mixes and of course multiple vodkas. For my meal I ordered the coconut almond French toast which I enjoyed very much! Great experience, good atmosphere, I will definitely return and highly recommend! read more

Hash kitchen has always been the fun spot to have brunch with your family/friends/day dates etc. The vibe is great and fun, service is good but the food is mediocre in my opinion. You get a large portion but the quality is ok, not bad and not the best. It's still one of my fav spot because of the energy there and always have great DJs. This brunch spot is really popular! Went on a Wednesday morning and the wait was an hour. The restaurant opens at 7 am and surrounding restaurants do not open until 11 so they have an advantage of having patrons actually wait or drive elsewhere. The atmosphere is very upbeat, friendly, and fun. I would say the music volume was club level so if you're trying to get lit midweek this is the spot. I ordered the eggs benedict which i would rate a solid 2/5. The egg white was still gooey over the english muffin. The side of potatoes were a 5/5. The were seasoned very well, the perfect crispness, and tied in well to the dish. The side of fruit is also pretty awesome. It's whole piece of fruit sliced. I'll post a photo for reference. Final notes- go here when you want good vibes, not a convo with the person you're going with. They have fun alcoholic drinks, almost as many options as there are food options. read more

Outta Bronx - A Very Disappointing Visit and an Even Worse Follow‑Up…read more We've been customers of this spot for some time, and up until now, the food has always been solid. Unfortunately, our latest experience was far from what we've come to expect. Our order was wrong from the start -- something we caught before leaving -- and we were told our food had been handed to another customer, so it had to be remade. Annoying, but understandable. The real issues showed up once we got home. The mac and cheese tasted stale and simply wasn't edible. The Reuben was another disappointment: barely any meat, what little there was had been overcooked, and the sandwich had almost no sauerkraut. When I flipped it over, I could literally see more toppings through the meat than actual meat. The only thing that resembled their usual quality was the chicken fingers. What pushed this experience from disappointing to unacceptable was the phone call I received from the owner,after I emailed their website to share what happened. My intention was to give them a chance to address the situation privately rather than jumping straight to a negative review. Instead, I spent nearly half an hour listening to the owner defend the food, insist the items we ordered weren't their "best sellers," and tell us to choose different items next time. They claimed nothing could be wrong with the food and that we should have just eaten it. They also said the mac and cheese wasn't their responsibility and told us to complain to Krispy Krunchy Chicken because they "just microwave" what they receive. When asked whether a replacement would resolve the issue, I said yes -- only for the owner to then accuse me of taking money from their family and saying they personally wouldn't complain about food they didn't like. I was told to just eat it and avoid ordering those items again. I have this all recorded. If you're going to ask whether a replacement would make things right, why turn it into an argument afterward? This could have been handled quickly and respectfully. Instead, I was told I was bothering them by emailing on a Friday night, and the entire call felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Calling a customer on a Friday night to argue is not how you keep loyal customers. After enjoying this place for some time, it's disappointing to see how poorly concerns are handled when something goes wrong. Update: I believe the response to this shows what I outlined above. I do not know this owner personally. I met them twice at the restaurant when getting my orders and both were good yet brief experiences. I also do not understand how there is fraud in contacting a restaurant, via their contact us email address, to inform them of issues you had with an order. Their call to me, in response to the email, was not a personal call and entirely business related. This simply shows that this is the type of response one can expect if they have any issues with their order.

Long review coming... My wife and I wanted to try this place. Finally we had the chance to. We ran into an old friend who worked there now. Because if there the conversation lead, we had to mention to her that we had just lost pregnancy three days prior. She finished the conversation, was super kind and apologetic, and we sat down. The waitress was great! We had Terra. The menus looked amazing. The ambience was fun. We had the Bloody Mary bar which was great. We ordered the Bananas Foster French toast and chicken Benedict. We thought the food was really good and the prices were fine. The manager, Dominic stopped by to see how we were doing a couple of times. Overall we really enjoyed it. But the icing on the cake was how compassionate they were. When our waitress brought the bull, we noticed there was no meal listed. So we mentioned to her we didn't get charged and said, "you didn't charge us for the meals". She said, "I know. Just the drinks today". We literally got emotional. We were so impressed that first, we shared that with our friend only because we felt we needed to. But for her to go and let our waitress know and okay the free meals with the manager, who said yes, was really amazing. Fantastic Breakfast/Brunch Spot. The atmosphere is extremely lively. Especially the Bow-Tie Man aka the manager. He is very attentive and makes sure our experience is second to none. Terrific Food. After the Mimosas, Insane Bloody Mary Bar, Hash Booze Bags and pancakes the size of your plate. I have no problem spending the rest of my day shopping with my wife. Frankly I don't even remember the stores. I have never been happier in my life being uncomfortably stuffed. For those who complain about the volume of the music I don't understand. You can here it from the parking lot. Did you expect the volume to decrease once in side? Hash Kitchen sells Great Food and Drinks with a side of "Good Times" and "Happiness". 3 Weeks later.... Visited on a Thursday no music, totally different experience. Still worthy of a 5 Stars. I ordered the 50/50 Burger. Ask for it well done. It came out perfect for me almost medium well. Daughter had the Grits and Shrimp, I couldn't resist stealing one of those masterful seasoned shrimp. My Cousin had Chicken and Waffles is was delicious as well. Unfortunately this place missed the mark big time. The server was so uneducated in gluten that he told me to just read the list and decide for myself if it has gluten in it ... I picked eggs with potatoes... after it got delivered the manger informed the potatoes are in fact not gluten free. He said the only gluten free choice is pancakes . At this point I've lost trust especially leaving my fate in the hands of people who clearly don't even know what gluten is. I opted for the pancakes but had to wait 25 more min for those. By that time my whole family was ready to leave. After this miscommunication of the menu the server not once came back , not a sorry , a drink refill , a check on how the other food was ... so we weee unable to inform him they also forgot my son's side dish. I just wanted out of there so we paid . This is the next issue , you pay on a hand held device. The tip options are only 20%, and a few other options which are higher , this server DID NOT deserve 20% and there was no lesser choice ? Seems forced . Over all will never be back. Breakfast is literally the easiest meal to make gluten free and yet they were unable to make anything that would be completely safe and the service was the worst I've actually ever experienced. read more

My wife and I made our first visit to the Kitchen at mid-morning on a Thursday since we were warned the wait time on weekends is 2-4 hours! Fortunately we only had to wait 20 minutes on this day, but there was still a steady wait line. The wait is my only complaint about this establishment (and it's probably just as bad at its four other Phoenix locations). One would think a reservation system would be a no-brainer, but the manager told us a previous attempt at reservations was a management nightmare. Hopefully things will change in the future. Anyway, everything else was excellent: the food, the service, the funky disco/clubby ambiance, and their drink specialties with a make your own bloody Mary bar. The menu is Southwest non-traditional, and portions are large. Despite the continuous table turnover, the entire staff has the system down for excellent customer service. A special mention goes to Manager, Domenic V., who checked on us before and during our meal. We've been loyal customers of Hash for quite some time, and today's visit surpassed all our previous experiences. While many people come here for the lively atmosphere and great drinks, what really impressed us is how family-friendly Hash is. Our server, Marissa, was not only friendly but incredibly attentive. Dining out with a three-year-old can be chaotic, but Marissa went above and beyond. She engaged with my son, cracked jokes, and, most importantly, took proactive steps to ensure his safety. When she brought out his favorite Canadian bacon, she switched his plate to a cooler one to prevent any burns. Later, when my hot food arrived, she not only warned us verbally but also made sure to place the hot plate away from my son's reach. My husband and I met my Dad here for Saturday brunch. The wait was a little over an hour, but it was well worth the wait!! The ambience is upbeat (there's a live DJ on weekends) and the staff is all very helpful and friendly. We were seated on the patio which I prefer for the open air dining concept these days. Our server was very attentive and patient in answering all our questions. The menu is extensive and every drink and entree that passes by is creative and tempting. Most places- we order more than 1 drink per person but the sizes and amount of alcohol here are very generous.The problem is there's so much on the menu we want to try! We couldn't resist starting out with The billionaire bacon (dusted with edible 24k gold flakes). For our entrees, I ordered the breakfast cannelloni and the guys ordered the Carnitas Hash. Me and two of my girl friends went there for Saturday brunch yesterday (1/9/2021), it was busy, there was an hour wait, but that was to be expected. We shopped until we got notified that our table was ready. Our waitress, Tara, was amazing! She always kept our water filled and got everything extra that we asked for before we even asked (ie syrup, chilula, etc). The menu had so many options! Great for pretty much everyone! And omg! The food itself was delicious!!! But what topped the whole experience off was the manager, Domenic, came up to our table to make sure we were taken care of. He actually related to us and made me feel truly valued as a customer. However, the topper on top of the top was that Domenic didn't just talk to us once, he took the time out of his busy busy day to show us around the restaurant next door, the Sicilian Butcher and show us around the bakery. Those complaining about the loud music, this is the vibe of this restaurant. It's literally a club for brunch. If you go on a weekday earlier in the morning, it's more chill but don't go on a weekend expecting it to be quiet and slow. That being said this place is always packed and busy and for good reason. The experience is hella fun, great place to celebrate with friends. I've brought any out of state friends for their first experience and it is always amazing. The place is packed. There's tons of people, the wait is long. If you don't like it, pick another spot. You'll get great food, unique drinks and a fun experience. The manager stopped by our table a couple times chatted with us and got to know us, really made the experience special. Yeah sitting outside is a little hot, hello it's Arizona. It's hot everywhere. My daughter has been dying to go to Hash Kitchen and I'm not gonna lie I've been wanting to go too! So Sunday morning we took my daughter to brunch to celebrate her sweet 16 birthday and I have to say this place did not disappoint ,the energy was on point service was excellent and the food was fantastic!! We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the managers Domenic Visxariello, he must've seen the overwhelmed look on my face when I approached the bloody Mary bar he kindly walk up to me assisted me and then walked me back to my table, then he proceeded to have the most pleasant conversation with my family and I swear it felt like we have known him for years! Hash Kitchen is a breakfast place where I had a mixed experience. Some things were good, but others weren't that great. The good stuff first: the biscuits were really tasty and fluffy. The sausage was cooked well and had a lot of flavor. The toast was also good - it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Now for the not-so-good parts: the French toast was just okay, nothing special. It didn't have the rich taste you usually expect. The pancakes were a bit of a letdown too. They weren't as light and fluffy as I hoped. The biggest disappointment was the potatoes. They were too dry and really needed more flavor. Overall, Hash Kitchen has some good dishes like the biscuits, sausage, and toast, but they need to improve others, like the French toast, pancakes, and potatoes. I'd give it three stars. There's potential, but they need to work on making everything as good as their best items. read more

Ok not sure where to begin. Loved the vibe of this restaurant the moment I walked in. The staff was professional and friendly. I ordered the short rib hash and it was amazing!! My breakfast guest ordered the carnitas hash and it was equally fantastic. Or server Alondra had such a wonderful demeanor and was a pleasure to work with. The manger Domenic came by our table and introduced himself. I'm happy he did so as he provided a personal touch to our dinning experience. He provided us with useful information pertaining to their other restaurants and locations. He stated they have live music on the weekends and can't wait to return! I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a new breakfast eatery with a diverse menus , great food and pleasant staff. We were able to final get in! After coming by Hash Kitchen the wait was always 1 to 2 hour wait! Some would say why keep going! I just figured if that wait was always that long this place must be great. Sure enough this place is the BOMB! Great customer service, great food, great environment and of course Dominic the manager was the best! This time we arrived about 7:15am, was able to be seated right away! Quick to get our order and just as fast to come out! I had the potato tacos and the wife had the chili Verde! Started of with the hash booze bag tropical punch and the wife with the chocolate brew! Wife and I decided to try Hash Kitchen .... OMG, why were we not going here sooner! The Food - My wife had the Cristina's Tamale Cakes - I was lucky enough to get a taste ... totally awesome! I decided to try the Short Rib Breakfast Burrito. It was HUGE ... and the favors were HUGE also! I am what you might call a large eater and I barely made it through half of the burrito - breakfast for tomorrow!! The Service and employees - We met one of the managers - Domenic V. Let's first start by saying that our group went for the party brunch that is offered on the weekend from 9-2. If you are not in the mood for loud music then I suggest not going around those times. I'd like to give 2 thumbs up to the Manager Domenic for being a gracious host. The food was amazing! Billionaires bacon is the perfect start with the right amount of sweet with a touch of heat. We had drinks flowing and our group tried about half of the specialty cocktails. We totally recommend "the Becky " and the mimosa flight. The captain crunch French toast was incredible as was the short rib burrito. If you are looking for an upbeat experience and great food then you should totally give this place a shot. Yes, it's possible to make a meal out of the create your own Bloody Mary with the options provided. Menu has a lot of varied options sure to offer something to everyone. Domenic, the manager, is great at ensuring guests are having a great dining experience - he and the staff are friendly, attentive and professional. Food came out in roughly 10-minutes during a high service time (50 parties waiting to be seated; full house). Our server, Valeria, made sure our glasses were full and we had everything we needed - very personable and professional. The wait is worth it if there is one. Heard great things about this place and finally stopped in with my cousin when I was in the area! Tahlia was our server and exceeded our expectations, she gave great recommendations and was very knowledgeable! She recommended the mimosa flight and potato tacos! They were both outstanding! My cousin got a classic mimosa and biscuits and gravy and loved it! The food was great and absolutely worth the price! Gino stopped by our table and was amazing! It was great talking to him!
