Haven Haus is succeeding at bringing brunch culture to the inland empire. Naturally the wait for 11AM on a weekend is expected, but they had a patio and options for comfortable and shaded seating while we waited 20 minutes for our table. The interior is classic brunch vibes that lets you escape into your meal. The Benedicts options covered all the basic flavor profiles, which made the menu easy to choose from. We also ordered the holiday flavors coffee flight to share between two people and each flavor was delicious. I arrived on a Sunday morning around 10am was seated right away. I ordered the mimosa flight, corn ribs and big country skillet. The flavors of the mimosa flight was supposed to be watermelon, peach, orange, and I think pineapple but they all tasted the same with some fizziness. The ribbed corn made a nice appetizer while waiting for the breakfast entrees to arrive. There were a few lime slices included but they were cut in a circular fashion, making it a little tough to squeeze out the juice as opposed to lime wedges. The big country skillet was full of flavor and very filling. I chose it with sunny side up eggs. The biscuit gravy tasted a bit watered down and starchy. I would choose a different side next time. Love the online waitlist. We use it and just walk to the podium and enjoy our brunch. Their drink menu changes seasonally and is delicious. The ambience speaks to me as a millennial. Usually had some throwback music and Bob Ross on the TV. It's what we all need. The servers are attentive. We love the team. Shout out to a few (Justin, Savannah, Dre, Nate) I personally love their biscuit and gravy peppery Nachos are hubby's fave. Kid always gets pancake and eggs. Loved the food here, came with my mom and my family, and I got a chicken avocado bacon sandwich, which was delicious. I also got an ube matcha drink, which I will say was pretty light on the matcha flavour, but the ube cold foam was super delicious. My usual barometer for a good breakfast joint is how they handle a skillet entree. Haven Haus has a pretty good example of it in the Big Country Breakfast Skillet. It was a good blend of meats, veggies, and cheese in such large skillet. Every bite was satisfying, especially with sourdough on the side. Even the coffee was a step up from a typical diner. I think my only complaint would be that my two-top had a very high unstable chair that gave me a constant sensation of it breaking and me seconds away from falling to the ground. I wish more of two-man spots were booths and normal tables. There's a reason I don't sit at the counter or the bar, and impossibly high stools and chairs is a big reason for that. Otherwise, the space, though small, was very lively and active. I can see why this is a destination for brunch get-together. It is a pretty original food joint. And the superb service is big reason for that. I hardly had to ask for a refill on my coffee before it would get filled. And I had a good sense that my special requests for the eggs and the jelly would be no problem. I love it when the staff of a restaurant makes you feel so welcome. This place has become a favorite for brunch. Love their menu and selections. That brunch board easily feeds two and then some mimosas and other drinks and we are good to too. Besides that they have some other good breakfast dishes too. And I do love their birria tacos + their burger. We always seem to run into Kai the server here and he's always cool. I've had this place on my radar for well over a year! It's really cute and so close to home! The decor is awesome and the place is lively! We came here early yesterday for Mother's Day brunch. Loved the fact that there is an online wait list, though we didn't need to use it. We arrived before the crowds, but the crowds arrived while we were there. Upon arrival, we didn't see the hostess and several employees didn't jump in to seat us. Someone near the kitchen eventually acknowledged us and said they'd be right with us. They checked to see if the last booth in the place was clean and available--and it was! From there, everything was wonderful. My oldest ordered a banana matcha latte and loved it. My youngest and I ordered the cookie doughlicious latte and it was really good too! My oldest ordered a burrito, my youngest ordered the brunch board (which is huge and she'll probably be eating the leftovers for a couple days lol), and I ordered the chilaquiles verde with barbacoa. It was really good, but I did use some hot sauce to spice it up a bit. We also got the churro French toast to share, which was great also. The portions are decent with plenty for leftovers, which means no cooking for this mama yesterday, yay! We really enjoyed ourselves here and will definitely be back! read more

We decided to go out for breakfast this morning and my wife wanted to try Haven Haus based on recommendations from other people. This place is kinda hidden in a busy strip mall but the parking is sufficient and not too difficult to find a place to park. The restaurant is clean and has a quaint atmosphere. I tried the breakfast croissant and it was delicious! It comes with a jam spread which I wasn't too sure about but it works well and it's tasty! My wife had the eggs Benedict and raved about the sauce. The country potatoes are were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our server was a young lady named Amber and she was excellent. She kept our drinks full and checked in frequently. Haven House is now our new breakfast spot and we plan on going out for breakfast much more frequently than before. Our friends took turns sipping off each others, not being able to decide which they liked better. On the sweet side they noted, but thoroughly enjoyed their blends. One friend would've licked the plate after her crepes disappeared (we wouldn't have judged). Nary a crumb of burrito was to be seen that our other friend enjoyed. This was their first time here, so we were grateful they enjoyed it!!! My hubs enjoyed his traditional plate of "brown & hot & lots of it!" eggs, meats, & potatoes. My omelette was bursting with meat - no skimpy insides here - and covered with gooey cheese. Biscuits and gravy on the side was passed to my friend (not because it wasn't good, but because I'm low carb). Service was solicitous, with water and (regular) coffees refilled. No additions needed, no complaints as everything came out as ordered, and we were left to enjoy our meals and conversation. We arrived at 9:00 on a Saturday morning, which was excellent timing as the place filled up quickly. Even so, service was not neglected. Stopped for brunch on my way to the Ontario airport and was very pleased. Haven Haus is located in an unassuming strip mall and the parking lot was pretty full when we arrived. It was 1:15 on a Saturday afternoon but there was no wait time and the service was excellent. The menu options are yummy and of course what brunch would be complete without mimosa and margarita flights on the menu? The mimosas were standard but the margarita was not good at all. It was pure mix and way too sweet. That was the only negative because the actual food itself was solid. The crepe combo with eggs and bacon, yes please! The waffle fries were nice and crispy and a perfect substitute for breakfast potatoes. My mom enjoyed her bacon avocado benny. Also, they were playing all the jams! It was the best 2000s/2010s pop from Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and the Jonas Brothers. I felt like I had one of my own playlists connected. Loved the vibe here. read more

Early morning crowd on Sunday started light, then picked up quickly. We were seated within 2 minutes and were helped within 5 minutes. Amber was our server and she was appropriately friendly and helpful. We both ordered veggie omelets, which came with potatoes and fruit.
