Ordered a grilled pork banh mi sandwich and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The atmosphere was greasy smelling with smoke in the air from deep frying. Service was average. The iced coffee was extremely watered down. The sandwich was terrible. The bread had hairs or other fiber looking strands on the outside. The pork was light colored and tasted strange to the point where the sandwich was not edible. Would not recommend ever coming for the food. read more

This isn't the best place for bahn mi but we didn't want to travel far. We know they give a fish sauce to dip your sandwich in, which I think is a cop out because the sandwich should be flavorful enough where you don't need to dip. But that's their thing. Got the footlong grilled pork sandwich this time. It didn't come with the fish sauce but it had hoisin sauce or some sort of bbq sauce on it. It was not good. I saw this place through Facebook ads and gave it a try! I ordered the following; - Grilled pork banh mi sandwich - foot long. It was tasty and fresh, but could've been better if the meat was charbroiled like it is at other restaurants and if they gave sauces on the side as an option (hoisin). - Honey Garlic Chicken Wings - tasty! You can definitely taste the honey in it, which gave it a nice kick! However I couldn't taste the garlic in it. I liked the presentation of it (served on a bed of lettuce). Came with a side of fish sauce but i didn't use it (who eats fish sauce with garlic chicken wings?) I hope they make these small changes and will probably return. I thought the prices were reasonable ($7.99 for a foot long). It's conveniently located next to the ice skating rink at Kingsgate Plaza. One thing I wish they had done was removed the banner out front! It read "Grand Opening 10% off all orders" but is only valid til 1/24, which was a few days ago. We ordered the lemongrass chicken large Bahn mi and the grilled chicken banh mi. When we got in two workers were eating behind the counter, we were the only ones there at the time. Sandwiches were honestly not good, my lemongrass one had cold chicken so I only ate a few bites. Husband got the grilled chicken, he didn't finish. The veggies on sandwich are advertised to be picketed but didn't taste like it. Pretty disappointing. Also they did not cut the sandwich in half, for the foot long you would think they would. While ordering, behind the counter just looked very dirty. Checked the WA State DOH report and they received an "okay". Maybe we went at the wrong time but food was not good. read more

I visited here on Sunday. We ordered the BBQ pork belly banh mi, the cold cuts banh mi, and iced coffee. I have never tried banh mi in this area and I was intrigued by their foot long sandwiches, very subway of them. The BBQ pork belly banh mi lacked a lot. It was bland and did not have any Jalapeños peppers. It did come with a side of what tasted like fish sauce but that is just inconvenient especially if you are eating it on the go. The pickled veggies were not pickled enough. There also wasn't much meat and barely had any cilantro. Cold cut banh mi was okay. It did come with Jalapeños but still bland as the other sandwich. It also came with a lot more meat. The iced coffee was fine. Perhaps I went on an off day. The restaurant seemed very busy and we had to wait probably 30 minutes for our sandwich. Many people who ordered after us got their food before us. The server apologized for the wait but I expect banh mi to be fast, like fast food, especially if they are microwaving everything. Marketing is very cute, but flavor was lacking. Paid $25 for two foot long banh mi's, maybe more after tip. From the bread, to the meat, to the veggies, it was... something was missing. They forgot to put Mayo on the bread, and maybe don't get the foot long version verses regular, because it's different types of bread, and the foot long was over toasted, and unpleasant when over toasted. The meat (deli cold cut meat) tasted like it was sitting in water, including the pickled daikon and carrot, which meant watery flavor all around. I kept looking for the satisfying bite from a banh mi, but never got it. Seasoning, Mayo, and soy sauce would have helped! It was fairly busy when I went, with two people ahead of me, so maybe my sandwiches were made wrong, which is totally understandable. I liked that they had generous amounts of pate, but that was the only part that seemed to have flavor. Service was nice, but I think understaffed. The one worker was working hard. read more

We love banh mi and were excited to try this place. We ordered the pork belly as well as the regular pork, their fried and chicken wings. You can upsize the regular sandwiches to a foot long for only a dollar more so of course we did. Let me start by saying their chicken wings were absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked and flavored. That was the best part of the meal. The banh mi was ... just ok. I wanted to love it but it really lacked flavor, both the meat and the marinated radish. Yummy! Had my first Banh Mi sandwich here. I ordered the tofu/vegetarian sandwich. Everything about it was delicious. The bread was perfectly crisp on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. All the ingredients were fresh, the tofu was seasoned so well. I'm now a fan!! I'm taking off stars for the shrimp that sadly had not been cleaned...tried two pieces and then stopped eating. Im so happy to see a good banh mi place close to my place. I tried the footlong lemongrass chicken banh mi and shrimp wrapped scallion. I got it to go and saw that the place is clean, quick to assemble the banh mi. the french baguette is perfectly light buttery and crispy. The chicken was cooked well but I do think it was softer than I may have preferred. I believe it might have steamed itself a bit in the container when it was cooked and stored. One thing that I hope changes soon is that the vegetables should be pickled more and hot sauce should be added to carryout orders. But i completely intend to try it again soon read more

As I was ordering my banh mi, there was a homeless person digging through the trash can just outside their entrance. One of the workers approached him but before he could say anything, the homeless person ran away. The workers quickly made a banh mi sandwich, ran to the homeless person and gave him a sandwich. I picked up a whole Grilled Pork Banh Mi; excellent crusty bread, generous on veggies and meat (will ask for more cilantro and jalapeños next time though) and a special clear liquid sauce to top the veggies with. Came here today with my husband and daughter ordered three sandwiches and one shrimp wrapped in green onion. I'm beyond upset and didn't make a scene because there were customers there and I know how hard it can be with having a business. Anyways my shrimp was raw and here comes the worst there was a staple inside my sandwich which I bit into by the way thinking it was a bone until I was able to spit it out. Like come on!! I'm sick to my stomach and again very upset.
