Visited Hole in the Wall in the Financial District on a Sunday with a friend for brunch after a workout class. It is a smaller, more intimate and casual spot, and it was pretty busy when we arrived (around 12:30/1pm), but we walked in and were seated without a reservation. We were seated toward the back and started with hot teas before ordering our meals. I ordered the pork Benedict (held the sourdough and ordered hash browns instead for a charge), and my friend got the breakfast burrito. The pork Benedict was a generous portion, very filling and flavorful, especially with the red pepper sauce. I also appreciated the bed of romaine. The overall vibe is relaxed, with smaller tables and simple decor. Prices for breakfast dishes range from about $17-$22, and the portions are generous. Service was quick and friendly; our server was attentive and helpful. I would definitely return for a casual weekend brunch or even a weekday lunch.

Cute spot. Came here on a Monday for a late breakfast and was able to snag a table for 2 near the door. We both go some teas which were served with a saucer so the tea could properly steep, appreciate that ;) Baked eggs were great, didn't expect them to be as spicy as they were tho! Maybe a little too saucy for me and acidic start to the day. Granola bowl was a solid option - def on the tart side so be prepared.

Has been a while since my last visit, but this is still a solid place for Aussie brekkie or brunch. Flat White is authentic and the smoked salmon toast wjth poached egg and avocado was yummy. Still pretty loud inside though - some dampening materials could help.

Food was pretty good I particularly liked the turmeric latte a lot. The mushroom toast was good and big but not the best. The service was super good and I liked the vibe.

Hole in the Wall - consistently good! Always love getting their brekkie roll, which is super filling. I had a particularly tough workout the other day so also got some fries (for the first time!) and honestly they were some of the best fries I've had in the city. Shoestring, perfectly crunchy, and topped with what I believe was chicken salt. Incredible. Immaculate. Will absolutely order again. Service was friendly and quick too. You pay at the table via QR code which was a seamless process. Will continue to come back!

Fast service, like almost immediate! Burrito was tasty and well prepared. The espresso martini was perfect. Coffee was spot on as well.

Our post holi celebrations led us here and we were happy that not only were we accepted by their friendly staff, but also seated within 20-mins for a table of six! Food-wise, we got a few things which included a Wild Mushroom Toast ($19), and a HITW Power Bowl ($19) - both of which were pretty good. I also got a coffee which wasn't warm and wasn't good at all. Noise levels were on the lower end, and service was pretty quick. Food arrived within 10-mins of placing our order! Perfect place for a quick bite.

This is a very solid brunch spot in fidi! There is usually a wait but it goes by pretty fast. I love their outdoor seating- a great place for brunch on a nice summer day. The food is a little overpriced, but everything in the neighborhood is. I thought both the vanilla latte and the breakfast sandwich were great. The staff if very friendly as well.

This was a cute brunch spot with good food and good service!! They had a lot of unique options and everything tasted super delicious! We got the pomodoro baked eggs and kimchi omelette and both were yum! We all got different types of coffee and they were all good! It was my friend's birthday so they even brought out a cinnamon roll on the house which was a very nice touch! Overall a great brunch spot!

My friend and I were looking for a spot to have a quick lunch before we headed to the airport. We found Hole In The Wall and decided to check it out. There is outdoor seating and some indoor seating. Since it was a nice day, we opted for the outdoor seating. Our waitress came over and took our order after a little while. I ordered the nutty espresso smoothie which has banana, peanut butter, espresso, and oat milk. It was really good! For my entree, I ordered the green Caesar salad (requested no crispy onions) and asked for a poached egg ($3 up charge). The salad was delicious, but unfortunately it was missing the broccolini. The reason I had to knock a star off is for two reasons. One, the service was slow. Like we had to rush and get to the airport slow. And we gave ourselves 1.5 hours to eat and get back to the hotel. Second, my egg was hard boiled, not poached. I didn't want to request another egg because everything took a while to come out, so I just ate it as is due to our time constraint. But a poached egg would have set that salad off. The menu also specifically lists a poached egg (no other kind of preparation), so I thought it was going the perfect poached egg. I still kept my eating high because the food and smoothie was really good, and the outdoor seating I was a really nice vibe and great for people watching.

A great lunch spot hidden in the nooks and crannies of FiDi, this place is literally a hole in the wall. ****WALK INS ONLY at the financial district location**** Came here at 12PM on the dot and there was already a 20 minute wait. The service was great and the food was VERY good. I got the power bowl with fried chicken and was pleasantly surprised as to how filling it was and how well all the ingredients combined together.

On a 30 degree day there is nothing more satisfying than a hot plate of food. Not only did this place deliver that but it was delicious. I have never thought to put kimchi with my breakfast but this is genius. The blend of spicy acidity with the rich fluffy omelette is mind blowing. I added some bacon and avocado just because I was starving. The hash browns are yummy, buttery and filling. It only took a little wait to be seated and they had a cozy vibe in there. Friendly and fast service with good espresso drinks. I have def saved this as a great breakfast spot in NY.

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

It happened to be 787 Coffee which I have visited plenty of times on the island and enjoy. With excitement and in Spanish I tell the cashier that I was happy to come across this place as I have tried them out in PR. How is it that this "jibara" apparently from Maricao, spoke to me in broken English while I am talking to her in our native language, total fail. Anyhow, I ordered the coquito hot latte with an extra shot of rum and oat milk, fine, I paid $11 for a very small coffee. Now what I can't believe is that the quesito pastry was $8. I really wanted it but it was not until I paid that I then noticed the price. I sat to eat it while I waited for my name to be called as mentioned by the cashier. I walked around looking at everything, the music very loud and hard for people sitting to have conversations, the place is very colorful and with many PR sayings, however the place also feels very Americanized with the music and layout. I still awaited my name to be called minutes later, but nothing. I approached the cashier, who was just standing there, to ask about my coffee and she wasn't able to tell me so she asked the barista steps away from her. He pointed to a cofre sitting on their counter, it had my name, and when I pointed out that I was waiting for my name to be called, she shrugged her shoulders and smiled like she didn't care. The coffee by now was not all that hot, I never tasted any rum or coquito flavor and felt I wasted my time at this place. What's more upsetting is that I left a nice tip for a service that was not provided. They couldn't even bring the coffee ti my table once they realized it was sitting there and they forgot to call my name. You can find better service elsewhere.
