I ordered the Kimchi Scramble, which, as the waiter explained, pays homage to the diverse cultural influences in Australia: feta cheese from the Greek, kimchi from the Korean/Chinese, and the rest from the British migrations. To complement, I went for an Aussie coffee, which is basically espresso with ice cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon. Yum The ambiance is great for a brunch date or casual lunch. I ordered the pork Benedict (held the sourdough and ordered hash browns instead for a charge), and my friend got the breakfast burrito. The pork Benedict was a generous portion, very filling and flavorful, especially with the red pepper sauce. I also appreciated the bed of romaine. My friend and I were looking for a spot to have a quick lunch before we headed to the airport. We found Hole In The Wall and decided to check it out. There is outdoor seating and some indoor seating. Since it was a nice day, we opted for the outdoor seating. Our waitress came over and took our order after a little while. I ordered the nutty espresso smoothie which has banana, peanut butter, espresso, and oat milk. It was really good! For my entree, I ordered the green Caesar salad (requested no crispy onions) and asked for a poached egg ($3 up charge). The salad was delicious, but unfortunately it was missing the broccolini. The reason I had to knock a star off is for two reasons. One, the service was slow. Like we had to rush and get to the airport slow. And we gave ourselves 1.5 hours to eat and get back to the hotel. Second, my egg was hard boiled, not poached. I didn't want to request another egg because everything took a while to come out, so I just ate it as is due to our time constraint. But a poached egg would have set that salad off. The menu also specifically lists a poached egg (no other kind of preparation), so I thought it was going the perfect poached egg. I still kept my eating high because the food and smoothie was really good, and the outdoor seating I was a really nice vibe and great for people watching. read more

My friend and I stopped by after running some errands but didn't have a reservation. We waited for about 30 minutes outside which was brutal considering it was so cold out. The inside of the restaurant is tiny so no room to wait inside. By the time we were seated we were starving. We ordered a chai latte and Nutella mocha to warm us up, both of which were so good. We both had the pomodoro baked eggs with a side of avocado and the strawberry cheesecake waffles to split. The baked eggs were absolutely delicious, 10/10. The dish was very hearty and comforting, the feta added the perfect tang, and the garlic bread served on the side was divine. We could've done without the waffles as we were so full and the waffles were way too sweet. The waffle itself was a sugar waffle and then came with additional sweet toppings. It's good for a couple bites and definitely to share but would be too much for an entree. I would come back just for those baked eggs but the only downside is I left the restaurant smelling of food. My group and I come here walk in often now after yoga and they're also dog friendly and the sun just feels so good here in the summer since they have umbrellas and ample shade. This is a godsend for the aussie transplants in NYC since most places don't serve this- and this is pretty much a scoop of ice cream over a iced coffee. They're super tasty and have chocolate powder on top as well. My friend's fave though is their espresso peanut butter smoothie, that one was a super huge hit and now a regular favorite. Everytime I come here I always order the same thing surprisingly I order the Spring Chicken Salad, and this was SO good i usually don't like chicken on salad but this one is crispy and juicy and everything good i need. I don't know if i'll ever move on to another dish because this one is just so good to me. Low carb and everything. What a cute find! In New York for work and stopped in for lunch. The menu is small, but diverse. Everything sounded absolutely amazing. Being the Caesar salad obsessed girl that I am, I went with that. It came with Parmesan crisps, crispy onions and one of the best Caesar dressings I've had in a while. The Brekkie Roll was my favorite of the 2 dishes because I'm a sucker for a brioche bun but overall it was just a great experience. It is a hole in the wall so not a ton of seating inside and it was cold the week I visited but it looks like they have a decent amount of seating outside when it warms up.
