I normally gravitate to independent ma and pa breakfast joints, but this place appeared before me like an oasis in the desert. I had a pancake combo breakfast (eggs, bacon, hash browns). Regarding the stars, let's consider the degree of difficulty, shall we? It was early Saturday morning. I had just found a public charger for my electric car (stupidly purchased without a home charger) and I needed to kill about 90 minutes so I could add 10 miles of range. (Don't get me started.) And so, like a mirage, this iHop appears. I needed coffee and was happy to see they give you an actual pot -- about 3 cups worth. Medium blend,slightly weak, could have been a tad stronger, but it did what it needed to do. Eggs were quite good. Hash browns were solid -- next time I will ask for them well done. Pancakes were surprisingly tasty and well prepared -- fluffy and not dry. I did not use syrup. A bit pricier than expected. The store itself was clean, bright and comfortable. Servers and staff all friendly (and happily corrected an error I didn't even know they made). That said, I shall return. read more

Great IHOP! I recommend it to anyone that wants to have a fantastic breakfast experience. The location is clean and well lit with all the furniture in new condition. They have fresh flowers on each table and the decorations are outstanding. It is fall and the decorations really put me in the fall mood. Staff was courteous, efficient and positive. Came with my family for a meal . We were waited on by Nohemi . She was clearly in a bad mood since we sat down . Unsure if that's her demeanor or she was having a bad day . She made it uncomfortable to order much less ask for anything after . We like to give people the benefit of the doubt so we still tipped her . After paying she did not give us a receipt. When we asked for one she was rude and called a manager over and started telling him how we were mad about points for the reward program they have . No we weren't mad . We were annoyed by her bad attitude during the whole dining experience . Then upset she wasn't trying to give us a receipt . We asked for the receipt to scan it for the points for money spent . So my daughter and I came here on a whim for my birthday, I specifically chose this location because it had the highest reviews. 1. Upon entering both servers paid me no mind they greeted me, but both didn't realize I hadn't been helped, also it wasn't busy so it's not as if they were overwhelmed but anyways no big deal they realized their error and seated me. 2. Ambience - nothing overly spectacular just typical IHOP deco. It was family friendly, music wasn't too loud/nothing overly dramatic. 3. Cleanliness - This is where I was disappointed the most. My daughter found an ant on the table, she killed it and they cleaned it up, but not quite what I want to see before I have my meal. When the food arrived I was partly through with my meal when I noticed someone's hair stuck in between the knife handle nook. I informed another waiter and she redid part of the meal 4. Food - The food was a little less then ok, I had a vegetable egg Benedict with hollandaise sauce and my daughter had a cinnamon crème cheese crepe. My daughter loved her crepe but felt the eggs were flavorless. My meal on the other hand could have been better but the hollandaise sauce was terrible and left a bad aftertaste. 5. Customer service - I wasn't too impressed in this area either, I barely saw my waiter, and when they remade my meal she didn't even bother to give me utensils, I did ask her for a knife but when I realized she also hadn't given me a fork, I just left well enough alone and opted to go home. Honorable mention the 2 go plates were weirdly designed and a complete waste of plastic. 6. Finally when I was getting ready to leave the manager came over and asked how I enjoyed the service, and of course I chose to give her my honest experience, she expressed concern for my dissatisfaction and offered me something, I declined but did appreciate the gesture. She also gave me her card with a free stack if I were to return. That spoke volumes, and her effort was appreciated. 7. Overall I'm not sure why this has the highest rating of all the IHOP's in my area but I wouldn't recommend it, the manager made more effort than the employees under her and they had the main floor. read more

Location is tucked into a residential area and seems to be mostly free of tourists, especially as it's about 10 minutes from the beachfront. No wait at 8:00am on a Saturday. Hosts and servers are polite, prompt and adequate. Drink selection was improved from other IHOP locations and included proper hot breakfast tea. German crepes were a little soggy, and the "lemon butter" was just wedges of lemon and chunks of butter. Not a biggie, just mushed them together myself and carried on. Requested bacon to be slightly underdone, or at the least not a crispy stick - they happily obliged. Would return! read more

Clean and roomy. This is one of the cleanest and most comfortable IHOP locations I've been to. The floor is elevated from the street and has a nice open layout with lots of windows. Parking. This is where the old Blockbuster used to be....they've since cleaned up the parking area where lots of homeless people used to hang out. There is an attendant at the parking lot just let him/her know you're going to IHOP. Staff. Very friendly and competent staff. Food. I tried their new hash brown stack with ham and eggs. I chose to go with one of their healthy options, an egg white vegetable omelette with a side of fruit. The fruit and the vegetables were all fresh and tasty. The omelette was well prepared. Honestly I was a bit put off by the prices. They have gone up A LOT within the last few months. Almost every breakfast meal is about $12! We paid $9 for a stack of pancakes... really, just pancakes?!?! I tried the new Hawaiian french toast and they were really tasty almost as sweet as a doughnut, but for the price I was like Hu?!?! When the waitress brought out 2 little biscuits that were my french toast I won't lie I was so disappointed. But the service is great and even though it's overpriced the food is good. The quality of the breakfast is awful, they served us both cold sausages, cold bacon, ham was cold hash browns were mushy the only thing we got hot was the coffee. It's the house of pancakes the pancakes are not fluffy and by the time you put syrup the pancakes are cold. We paid a total of $45.05 plus tip. We went to the cashier to pay the lady at the register didn't engage or asked anything. Ambiance was dull. I highly suggest not to waist money on breakfast there. Me and my boyfriend like to sit down and eat here. We usually come at night on Fridays and the older gentleman who works the night shift is incredible, top tier, and communicates very well and is always on top of everything. We always leave him a good tip as well for his wonderful service. So he is the only reason why we would return. The 1 star isn't towards him. Today Friday November 17th we happen to come in early around 2pm and the younger guy who was working the afternoon shift just had a nasty attitude with us specifically, from the minute he sat us down to the very end. I felt like he didn't want to be there and rushed us out. Also the older lady who seemed to be the manager went to each table to ask how everything was, except for us, she literally just walked to our table and looked up at us and walked away, not a word.
