What can I say? I feel like all IHOP restaurants are the same. There servers here are great most of the time. But when you come on Sunday morning, don't expect the service to be quick. When I go any other time, usually at night for dinner, the service is exceptional and the food doesn't take long to come out. But Sunday brunch resulted in everyone getting their breakfast foods, eating, and ready to leave. That was when my bleu cheese bacon burger came out. Since we don't have many small business breakfast/brunch places open late, I'll have to settle coming back here. Don't get the chicken and waffles because the chicken is more on the dry side. read more

I like this IHOP compared to the one in Union Landing as that location is always busy especially on the weekends! I still love having breakfast for lunch or dinner or anytime! I am pretty regular here as I go during work lunches. They have other regular meals with good portions and good drinks. IHOP in generation is my go to favorite place for crepes or pancakes. You have to try the strawberries and cream crepes, pancakes or waffles! I loved the International Passport which was crepes with Nutella and berries or strawberries. They don't offer that anymore since Nutella is expensive and nut allergic to others from what they said? Banana pancakes are good, too. For meals, I get the crepes florentine, chicken waffles or Tilapia fish. All good portions where you never leave hungry! Not good for my diet! ;-p. You pay at the front after done; easy...This location has good customer service and I see regular waiters for the last few years. I will be dedicated at least to this location! :-) read more

Staff here are super friendly and they used to always get my pickup order right (accurate). However, in the past year or so...it seems they have a really hard time completing very simple pickup orders. Half the time, they leave something out...of a very simple order. 2 egg breakfast was missing toast one time. Today, they left out pancakes from the breakfast sampler. When i informed the woman who asked me about it (i think she was the manager, i'm not sure about that), she told me i should check the order before leaving with it. I normally do actually check my order before leaving but (a) the order was so simple (i only ordered 1 breakfast item - the sampler) and (b) they had put staples all across the top of the bag containing my food, so... super inconvenient to tear apart the bag to make sure they got a simple order correct. The lady at the front desk was really nice and service was fast. They make their food good and it was high quality. The pancakes were fluffy, the chicken was juicy and all the veggie toppings were fresh. The french fries were of high quality too. Money not wisely spent. Came here because it was remodeled. The place is very nice and modern. The waitress even mentioned it is so nice now. We had good service. The waitress was very nice. My complaint is the IHOP spends all this money to upgrade the restaurant so the substantial increase in price makes me feel like I am paying for the restaurant because the food is the same. Now that the prices are higher than the other restaurants in our area and the kids eat free is gone I do not see a reason to come. Now, I can pay less and can go to Country Way or Bills. It's Saturday April 16th I ordered a curbside pickup and came in because we were parked outside and nobody was bringing us our order that we had to go get it not a big deal. I get home my mistake but I didn't check the order and of course we were missing something but they actually made it up pretty quickly when I called I was greeted by the manager and he apologized and he was very kind and he actually made it very difficult to be upset he definitely took care of the issue very quickly and deescalated the situation very quickly as well. The employees might not be great well at least the manager on shift was must have a lot of experience just wish his employees had just the same amount of experience if it wasn't for him I'd probably never come back to this place so I'll give it a four out of five read more

I ordered delivery with doordash and I didn't receive 2/3rd of my order. I bought a side of cheesy egg and apple juice, but got neither and apple sauce instead?? I understand if they ran out of apple juice, but no way the cheese and egg was out. The rest of my order included omelettes. I will never be dining at this particular IHOP again. The food here is decent, especially off of the seasonal specials menu. But they really don't handle the weekend brunch rush very well. Lots of waiting and a sometimes forgetful server. Service - We hardly saw our server when we needed him. Once he even took one of our cups to refill water and simply forgot to ever bring it back. After handing us the check, we didn't see him anymore as we finished up eating. We had to call over the hostess passing by to get someone else to bring us some hot water, and when bringing the hot water they just gave us a pitcher without a cup or mug to drink it in! At least when they gave us coffee and hot water, it's a full pot and we don't have to wait for that to be refilled. Food - I ordered the Chicken Florentine Crepes and my friend got the (Spring Special) Strawberry Cream Pancakes with a Chicken Fajita Omelette. All of it tasted great! I haven't been too interested in crepes before now, but this was tasty enough to inspire me to try crepes elsewhere as well! My friend especially appreciates having both 'sweet' and 'savory' portions in a single combo. Size of the plate is good and filling. Environment - Here on a Sunday for brunch, around 11 AM. It's rather crowded as expected and there almost wasn't enough seats for people to sit while waiting. I ordered breakfast for me and my daughter online. Since I know it gets busy on the weekend I ordered an hour in advance. When I arrived to pick up my food it wasn't there. The guy working the register seemed confused and made a half hearted attempt to find it. He asked my name multiple times, asked to see a copy of my order, then asked someone else for help so I had to answer all the same questions again. Ten minutes later there still was no food. I didn't have time to wait any longer so I asked for a refund. Apparently the manager was busy so they told me he'd take care of it later. The restaurant was clean and service was pretty quick; our server, Hilda was exceptionally nice and friendly. She made sure that everything was okay, and checked up on us every so often. My boyfriend ordered the Country Fried Steak and Eggs, I ordered the Breakfast Sampler, and my daughter ordered the Funny Face pancake from the kids menu. All of our dishes came to our table within 15 minutes, and they all were delicious! We also ordered the Sweet Iced Tea that had free refills, and Hilda was always quick to give us our refill when she saw the cup empty or nearly empty. I've been coming to this IHOP for rmany years, and I came here again for breakfast. We got here at 9am, so the place was not too busy with only half the tables filled with customers. As soon as we got seated, we were given menus right away. Our server came over a few minutes later to take our drink order. While we waited for our drinks, we continued to look over the menu. I liked that there is a 'Simple & Fit' section with healthier options. I also liked that the calories are listed right under each dish. It felt like we had to wait another 15 minutes before our server came back with our drinks. He didn't give us any straws, so I had to ask for them..lol. We were definitely ready to order, too. I decided to order the country loaded potato special, and it was cooked with ham, mushroom, and cheddar cheese. It came with 2 buttermilk pancakes, and I requested 'no butter' on it. The meal also came with 2 eggs, so I ordered it sunny side up. I told the server that I wanted the eggs to get cooked all the way through, since I don't like raw eggs..lol. The server repeated all our orders before he left, which was nice. We had to wait about 20 minutes before our dishes came out. As soon as the server put down our plates, I noticed there was butter on my pancakes. I immediately told him, and he took them away. However, when the pancakes came back, I noticed he just brushed off the butter from the top! I can still see the butter stain on top of the pancake. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get a fresh short stack of buttermilk pancakes. When we asked for the condiments like ketchup and hot sauce, we had to wait about 5 minutes before they gave it to us. Since some us wanted to condiments, we actually had to wait for it before we started eating. Obviously some of our food got a bit cold while we waited. When I tried the eggs, it was cooked wrong, too. I asked for it to be cooked all the way through, but it was still very raw. =( The eggs was a bit disgusting to me, since the yolk was still very gooey. The country loaded potatoes with mushroom, ham, and cheese was ok. I felt it was a bit too salty for me. Overall, the service was very slow here. The food is just ok. I didn't like that they also messed up my order. I think its time for me to find another breakfast location with better service and food options. read more

I really like coming to this IHOP whenever I feel like having a big American-style breakfast. Been here a few times in the past and tried many items off their menu. I'm not a pancake-kinda guy (do not like the mushy sensation in my mouth) so I usually go with some kind of french toast or vegetable omelette. In all my times coming here, I've always had a great experience with the service. The food comes out in a timely fashion and the waiters/waitresses never get my order wrong. When I ask for my hashed brown to be more crisp, my hash brown comes out more crisp. When I ask for my eggs not to be too drippy, my eggs come out not too drippy. Basically, I get what I ask for...exactly how it should be for all restaurants. Price is reasonable. Service is excellent. Food is not bad. FOUR stars. read more

IHOP is one of my comfort food places. I think their food is solid. They have a lot of choices on the menu. I have always liked their crepes and their new hash brown specials (comes with egg, meat etc piled on it) is very good. This location is one of their nicer ones.
