I come to this IHOP to try the crapes but as soon as I parked the car I got a bad feeling about it. The outside looks abandoned and when I walked in their was about 5-6 families waiting to be seated. Horrible. I went in for the 56 cent pancakes and our waitress took forever to bring them to our table. When I mentioned how long we've been waiting, all she said was she couldn't find her ticket. No apology offered only a lame excuse that someone else was at fault. I would not step foot at this location. Today 01/25/2014 At 6:45pm we came in and at about 6:50pm we walked. I have been here before about 10 times but surely this would be my last one and here is why. The health for my family it's important and what I saw today besides being dirty and nasty is unhealthy. I walk in the restroom to wash my hands and there is an employee a guy using the urinal so once he finishes walked right by me didn't even try to stop to wash his hands he just walked so I rush to out to see where he went. I saw the kitchen door moving so I though he must works on the kitchen but as I was standing there kinda of disgusted he walks out and passes right next to me and goes back to his duties guess what his duty was yes to put the rolled napkins with utensils we customers use to eat and arrange the sauces syrups and stuff that is usually on the table. I ask to talk to the manager on duty a nice lady and I very nicely told her that I was leaving the place and I exactly told her what I had witness. She assured me that she was gonna talk to the employee and that every employee takes classes and are trained to wash their hands but the damaged was already done. I don't put their names here because honestly I did even got their names we just left in a rush. If anybody else sees anything nasty about this place review and comment and to the management feel free to contact me I will gladly tell you the same story. I have nothing bad to say about the lady in the white shirt that she said she was the manager only that she seems not to really care because she went back to what she was doing and let the employee continue touching everything with his dirty hands I was expecting for her to at least stop him and send him to wash his hands. She was so distracted we had to repeat ourselves like 4 times each time. ANNOYING! I felt like slapping her. Oh well what do you expect at ihop. The only reason for three stars instead of two were my pancakes. They were yummy and it's the first time in the history of me eating IHOP that I finished all my pancakes. Came here for "lunch" with a friend after helping her move out in her apartment close by. The place was pretty empty when we arrived so we expected to get our food pretty quickly. Wrong thought. We both got the two/two/two/two. Somehow that didn't translate well. The only things different were our pancake flavors and that we both wanted well done hash browns. While we sat and waited, and waited and waited, more parties arrived and were seated near us. Well, those parties got their food before us. Baffled? Yup. We were. We both asked for water. Both with no ice and I only wanted to add lemon to mine. The lemon came inside the water not on the side and my friends came with ice. Wrong. The waitress got a little pissy when she asked for no ice and a new one. The other waitress came by and told us there'd be a wait for coffee (which I don't drink but my friend does). So we waited for that. We then waited for our food a little longer only to have the same waitress come back and ask us if we ordered the same things. What? Huh? Yeah we did. Except one of us got pumpkin pancakes instead. Wth? When we saw all the other tables with larger parties mind you, get there food, I inquired. We were scoffed at. "You want your hash browns well done right? Well you gotta wait!" Yes. It was scoffed at us. I only remained calm and didn't bite the waitresses" head off because I didn't want to her to possibly spit in my food. So, I didn't even react. Well we finally got our food. Guess what? The hash browns were hardly well done. Our eggs with spinach were super dry and you could tell they were made first. They were a little cold. My turkey bacon was cold and was sitting in grease. Obviously they were never drained after being cooked. My pancakes however were hot and yummy. Atmosphere was clean. Bathrooms clean. Food subpar, except the pancakes. Service mediocre. I've been here a couple of times but yesterday the service went from good to bad. My server was Marisol, she was very nice at first but things went downhill towards the end. She never brought me water so I asked another waitress for it and she brought it. It wasn't til the end that I noticed she brought 2 coffees. I asked my grandma what that other coffee was for, she was like she must have brought two by accident. Of course when the receipt arrived, she charged us for two coffees. When we were paying, we told the cashier only one coffee was ordered and I wanted water. So she calls Marisol over and was like "no they ordered two coffees", girl what ?! Then she comes to the cash register and we told her no we did NOT order two coffees. She gives us attitude and was like "well why didn't you give me that second coffee back if you didn't want it", walked away before we could respond. It was half an hour wait to be seated or half an hour to order out, so I ordered to go, but I didn't get what I paid for which was the Macademia Nut Banana pancakes that I've been craving since having seen this in many commercials. So I stroll to McDonalds to get a hat coffee and an ice cream cone. About 30 minutes later I return to get my bag of food, drive off and eat at a local park.. I went for some breakfast today with my daughter wait was about 45m- 1h. I waited outside by the tree and that whole area smelled like urine. I want to say wait was about 15m-30m. Waitress was very attentive. Food was quick. I ordered a country omelette which the presentation wasn't all that. The omelette was ripped on the side. I also got strawberries and bananas on my pancakes. I'm not sure of the pancakes where cooked all that well since there was still parts that seemed raw. Very very poor experience here. I came here on a busy weekend so it's expected to run into minor hiccups, however I had a pretty terrifying experience. I ordered a pot of tea that is served on a plate with a dolly, tea pot, lemon wedges and honey. My plate included all of those plus an additional sausage with a bite taken out of it! For the shady part of town this is in they sure do know how to operate a restaurant. We came here on the Fourth of July, and they were packed which was expected. They had my girlfriend, my buddy and myself seated ASAP, and got us drinks in no time flat. As soon as we were ready to order the waitress was ready, and the food came out in a very timely manner. I go less often than not to IHOP. Their prices are a bit too high and the portions are so so. I have never really had good service there. The best meal they have are on the pancakes with different syrups. Otherwise the parking is good and there are many locations to go to. This restaurant is not a top priority on my eating out list. read more
