The curiosity of cheap eats got me to try Ikea's advertised pasta and marinara for $2.99! I wondered - how much do they give you? How does it taste? I was about to find out! I went up to the restaurant - grabbed a side salad out of the cold case and went to the hot line for the pasta marinara. It was a cavatappi pasta on this day (I'm not sure if it's always the same) and he scooped a full bowl of it and topped it with marinara! You can add 4 meatballs for $1.50 so I did and put it on the pasta. There you go - pasta and meatballs marinara. The taste - not bad! I mean, you can't expect a sit-down restaurant quality but it's simple enough that for $2.99 - you don't have much to complain about. I ate it, I was full and I was on to my next errand! PLUS - free coffee for flashing the members code (which is free).
Their quality in the fries have taken a tumble. This was one of the items I could always depend on. So sad that their quality has taken a crapper. What was one of the best items to order is no longer so. Their fries used to be nice and crunchy on the outside and creamy soft on the inside is no longer so. I think the present vendor has a terrible product. A new item is their falafel balls accompanied with a garlic ailoli. A hard pass on this unless you enjoy disappointment, the falafel balls were overcooked and tasteless, the garlic aioli didn't help it at all. It's too bad that their quality has fallen so far.
Hej! What are you guys complaining about? Where else can you get: FREE COFFEE or TEA with your IKEA family membership, which is free by the way. We saved $13 by not buying coffee from that place that starts with an "S" and ends with "bucks". That place should be renamed SuperBucks. 40% OFF MEATBALL PLATTER w/ IKEA Family Membership: $4.99 for a plate of 12 meatballs with mashed potato, gravy, lingonberry sauce and peas; choice of vegetarian or real meat. Hubs got the $1.99 for 4-piece sampler. $2.99 PASTA with MARINARA PLATE, with the fancy corkscrewy pasta. Lots of it. Smacked onto a plate for a real cheap price. Did not try it, but it looked just about right for the price. Las Vegas is ridiculous expensive, but not here. My membership expired but Isiah at the counter helped us out. He was super wonderful, kept his sense of humor and good mood laughing and greeting people although he was the only one manning the cash register on a Saturday morning. Awesome guy. But one thing I noted about Las Vegas lately - very empty. Hardly any crowds, or people. Don't know how business is going to survive if Vegas doesn't do something drastic to get tourists and visitors back. You can fill up your intestinal gas tank here for real cheap and relatively quality foods. I saw some Marinated Salmon chunks for less than $5 and an array of tantalizing desserts including rainbow colored cake.
I mean come on, it's IKEA meatballs! Like is there ever a time when they're not yummy?! I tend to get the vegetarian or plant based ones nowadays but for the sake of nostalgia, I got the classic meatballs. Extra gravy is always a must for the mash and meatballs. There was a special going on for the 5 piece plate but I was starved and opted for the 12 piece. $9.99 instead of $2.99.... I didn't realize till after I paid that the sale was for 5 pieces LOL. Oops! Everything was fresh. Deff wasn't sitting in the warmers. Service was quick. Went through the line and paid just over 5 mins is all it took. It was pretty chill for a Friday afternoon. Easy to snag a table around 12:30-1pm. I have to make time for soft serve next visit!
I went on 12/29 for a bingo for 18+ event and also had dinner there before the event. I have come here multiple times in the past and eat here often with my kids and parents too. I haven't had any complaints or issues with the food. Their Swedish meatballs dish and mashed potatoes is always delicious, and there's plenty of seating. It's pretty much self service, and there's lots of room for the kids to walk around within view and some play areas for the kids in the eating area as well.
The food and experience at the IKEA Restaurant is always pleasant! Prices continue to be incredibly affordable with many options and exceptional quality. The dining area is kept clean and service attendants are easily found and constantly cleaning. There's always an available table and the distant views of Red Rock are beautiful (though they are a bit blocked by the newly constructed Ashley Furniture store). If it's your first visit, I definitely recommend the Swedish meatballs with lingonberry jam, chicken tenders, and garlic bread! Also, try the lingonberry drink! It's very good and refreshing. Definitely check the IKEA restaurant website too. They seem to always have a rotation of lunch and breakfast specials. Perhaps the best piece of advice, though is to sign up for their free IKEA Family Members card. You'll be able to take advantage of daily food and beverage deals and receive special offers for shopping. We're definitely fans!
There is a small amount of items I can have that are gluten free but I like that everything is portioned. Their side salds are small but full of fresh vegetables. Their lox was deliciously salty and covered with dill. The chocolate almond cake is light and crisp. The vegetarian meatballs are plant based as well as the vegetable medallions I just preferred something cold on a warm day. The rest of the family had their favorite Swedish meatballs with gravy, mash poatoes, peas, and french fries.
IKEA Restaurant is such a good deal. The Swedish meatballs are solid and the price is almost unbelievable for what you get. It's located right next to IKEA with plenty of parking, so it's easy to stop in before or after shopping. Nothing to complain about. It's affordable, quick, and satisfying.
Came here for early dinner before shopping at the store. Meatballs didn't have as much gravy as before. Wish there was more choices for sides. Asked for a combo (entree, salad & drink) for our meal but they were out of salad. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes we get a helpful & cheery staff, sometimes we get a tired & impatient employee. Dining area is well lit but a lot of glare towards the end of the day.
So I've been a fan of the Ikea restaurant for years but was a little disappointed on my recent visit in Las Vegas. I don't eat peas, so have always substituted for a different vegetable, like broccoli or the vegetable medallion. I was informed that they no longer allow substitutions on their plates so if you don't eat mashed potatoes or peas and want a different side or veggie, you now have to pay extra. Not sure if this is only at the Las Vegas restaurant or if this is Ikea-worldwide. At least offer a $1-2 upcharge if the side is more expensive than the potatoes or peas. I would gladly pay that to get something I will eat rather than leave it off the plate and still be charged the same price. On a positive note, they now have a meatball sampler - 4 original, 4 veggie and 4 plant based for $5. However, I was not charged the correct price and was charged for individual orders of 4 meatballs. The veggie balls are chopped up mixed veggies and the plant protein are pea-based. I definitely will order the veggie balls again!
Ok, we don't have IKEA in Hawaii so, I came here to wish I did! Lol. I actually came to pick up little housewares gifts. I love the room set ups as well. So creative for small spaces. So while I'm here why not hit the cafeteria? Of course meatballs were on the agenda! I had it with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas and that famous Ligon berry jelly! Something so simple just hit the spot. My trip to IKEA was complete!
I met friends here before the store opened to enjoy breakfast, conversation, and then a walk through the store. Normally on Tuesday, our group explores abandoned mines but with the weather so hot, we decided to explore indoors. The restaurant area opens at 9:30, a half hour before the store. We got there at 9:45 and there was no line. I got the American Swedish breakfast. It consisted of two bacon, sausage, or ham, some Swedish pancakes with fruit sauce, fried potatoes, and scrambled eggs. I also got coffee for which there was no charge if you're an IKEA friend. The seating area has large round tables to accommodate our party of 5 and there are smaller tables. The large windows on this second floor restaurant look to the mountains on the west side of Las Vegas and Red Rock Canyon is viewable from here. The breakfast was OK. This isn't gourmet food but the price is right. $2.99 plus tax. It was good going early before there was any line. I will have to come back for lunch sometime. This isn't a destination restaurant but it was good to try. read more

First venture here at the IKEA Cafe, and I must say...impressed with the ingenuity! The simplicity and order of the process to get your food is remarkable. Menus displays are everywhere (see pic), as well as the order counter. A 3 tiered cart is taken with the appropriate number of trays (see pics). Step into the order line and you are on your way. There are yummy cold offerings (I had the raw salmon w/salad plate (see pic), and hot plates available (we also order the Swedish Meatballs and the Chicken Strip plates (see cart pics). Considering the venue, everything was really good! The Chicken Stripes were perfect and not dried out (SURPRISE, SURPRISE)! The Swedish Meatballs...tasted, well, like good Swedish Meatballs. After picking up your order, you head to the cashiers to pay (yup, cafeteria style). Then out to the dining area to pick a seat and enjoy! This is not "haute cuisine" by any means, but after the experience...in this YELPER'S opinion the IKEA CAFE earns it's 4 Star review and a "definite recommend"! read more
Disclaimer - I'm a bit biased because as a kid I loved cafeteria food. I have no reason why, but I just did. So a place like IKEA...with a cafeteria of Swedish delights? I. Am. In. I have eaten all kinds of stuff, from the fancy gourmet go to dinner in a dress shirt to the high-end all-you-can-stuff-yourself-silly with king crab legs buffet, down to the home-cooked dine in shorts & slippers to the $4.99 for breakfast buffet. Hell, I've even been known to go to McDonald's on occasion! Point is, I have no problem stuffing my face with Swedish 'cafeteria' food. Show me the plastic trays! Thankfully, the IKEA cafeteria is really like an actual cafeteria. Grab yourself an actual rectangular plastic tray at the beginning of the line, then mosey on down to fill that thing up with plates upon plates of Swedish Americanized food! It's funny how the line starts off with desserts, then appetizers/snacks, on to the main food line, then ends with the soup/salad bar before heading to the cashier. Either way, it's a practice in efficiency. Did it help that we actually went on opening weekend? NOPE. Line was hella long, took us nearly 45 minutes to get through! Did it help that we went again a few weekends later when IKEA was doing their family promo - buy $100 worth of IKEA home furnishings and your entire family gets to eat for FREE! NOPE. We spent at least a good 30 minutes in line waiting for food! That family eats for free weekend promo was something we really took advantage of. Of course with this promo, ALL food had to be consumed on premises. No take-out or to-go allowed. But...does that stop me from bringing a Ziploc bag and putting any leftovers into my wife's purse? NOPE. The fam & I ate like IKEA KINGS on this day - I say we easily purchased nearly $50 worth of food from the cafeteria...to feed only 3 people! HA! We had a sampling of a lot of the IKEA menu - Swedish meatballs (duh) with lingonberries, veggies & mashed potatoes, BBQ chicken wrap, salmon wrap, chicken fingers with fries, and even a few desserts like some sort of torte & a slice of apple cake. All washed down with cups of coffee and glasses of lingonberry drink! Get yourself an IKEA FAMILY card, signing up is free. One of the benefits is free coffee at the cafeteria. Is the food the best? NOPE NOPE NOPE. Their Ranch dressing kinda sucks too. But come on, what do you expect from commercial chicken fingers and meatballs that come out of bags? Gourmet it is NOT. But I somehow, someway find it tasty. Yes! Blah, blah, blah all you haters & foodies. If the zombie apocalypse comes and your fancy restaurants & froo-froo coffee drinks get taken away, I'll be able to survive off of dog food & a buck knife! The rest of you will probably end up being chow for a hungry walker. But for us, it was totally worth eating at the IKEA cafeteria for FREE during their promo! I mean, we were gonna spend at least $100 on curtains & other home junk we probably didn't need anyway. Why not get something out of it? I got a stuffed tummy, and a book of semi-Swedish instructions on how to put together some window paneling. Win overall. Will I be back to the IKEA cafeteria? You BETCHA. Hell, I'd be back to the IKEA cafeteria on a weekly basis just for breakfast. For $1 (yes a BUCK) you get a plate of scrambled eggs, turkey sausage links & breakfast potatoes. Plus IKEA FAMILY members still get that free cup of coffee! Beat that, you places that serve your $1 breakfast 'burritos'. And not free cups of coffee. read more
Yay!! They offer soda bottles now. It's Pepsi so it not 100% perfect but it's better than nothing. ;) I really love their Swedish Meatballs. Love the lingonberry sauce. Their desserts look good but not my favorite. My kids love their juice boxes. And recently I tried their salads. I love the feta cheese one. Love it! I'll actually be back here this week because it's so cheap to eat here. Get a family IKEA card and they offer you free things. I always forget to use mine but I know they give you little freebies here and there. Love the view. Yes the view is to the parking lot but I like people watching so I can't complain. I really like the movie playing for the kiddos. It keeps them from running around all over the place. The furniture is still in great shape and the decor is cute. The only thing is, I wish there would a sign somewhere that shows people how to properly put their plates up. People leave all their plates full of trash and I think it would be helpful to show them that they are to throw all the trash and food in the trash before stacking their dishes on the trays. read more
This is one of those places where everyone will either love it or hate it. I'm not sure why so many people are complaining about the quality of the food. It's not an upscale/fancy restaurant! It's a dirt cheap café with options that are tasty despite the average price point being $5.99 a plate. I usually get the Swedish meatballs, but the chicken tenders look good too! Tried the almond cake for the first time this week and it was really really good and only $1.99 per slice! Don't forget to scan your Ikea Family card for a free coffee on each visit! read more
Whatever you do, don't take out. You'll be pissed by the end of it. I see everyone grabbing carts to put their food on, but I'm not dining in so I thought I was just going to grab my food and go. NOPE. The carts look great if your dining in because you don't have to carry anything. They have food in the windows, like a buffet would and grab it and place it on your cart. So far I'm excited. I get to the servers and ask for to-go order. They say the cashier will be giving me to go boxes.. I say ok and order and then the shock came along. They put all the food on plates... The food I want to-go... just went on a plate. I didn't even have a tray to carry 3 plates.. I didn't grab any of that because I was not dining in... Thank goodness someone left a tray not to far me so I could use it... Yea also try putting 3 plates on one tray.. You look like a fool.. The cashier rings me up and I ask for the boxes. Another shock.. She gives me Chinese food boxes.. Like for just one side!! I had all meals!!!! I had to push mash potatoes, meatballs and gravy in one box. What a mess. You guys need to rethink how you handle to-go orders. This was absolutely awful. Look at the pictures and tell me how professional this is. P.S. They don't give your a bag to carry all your boxes. Make sure you hold on tight to your tower of boxes. read more
Came for lunch and got Pasta and marinara With turkey meatballs. Toast was extra though... But lunch was like, three dollars? Can't really beat that. Try to beat the rush Cause the lines can get backed up. If you want dessert Get the almond cake; It's made with Daim chocolate. You will walk it off. Two dollar breakfast But can't wake up that early. Hopefully one day. read more

Wasn't expecting too much, so our hopes wasn't that high when trying here. Here's my impressions: 1. Chicken Strips with fries - These strips are just regular strips. The ones at McDonald's have more flavor than this. The ones you find at the Safeway deli is also much more tastier than this. If you do need to order these, they are accpetible, though. But nothing to write home about. And that's sad because I saw many patrons ordering this dish. Mostly kids, but still. I would think that it's good seeing many ordering the chicken. The fries, were cold and were not noteworthy at all. Luckily the chicken that was sitting on top of the fries warmed them up a bit. 2. Meatballs - The meatballs were just "ok." Not sure why many like them? I didn't think they were great at all. I can get a package of frozen Stouffers brand and they taste a heck of a lot better than this. All in all, it's a good place to go and have some lunch, but leave your expectations at the door. I would probably have the meatballs again, but probably won't have the chciken again. read more
My first time to try their breakfast menu and all I can say is that I really enjoyed it. I ordered their Swedish American Breakfast with a side of bacon, which I thought was pretty decent for $3 something breakfast meal. My favorite is their Swedish pancakes reminds me of crepes, coffee or any beverage is free if you're an Ikea family member so don't forget to register. There was a line, but it was moving pretty fast and everyone was so nice and accommodating. I'll definitely come back, just for breakfast!!! read more
I didn't come here with high expectations of dining while shopping for furniture but was definitely satisfied. I wasn't sure the process and there wasn't;t anyone there to explain how this cafeteria works but let's face it, just follow the lead of the folks ahead of you. the food service it at the back of the dining area and yes you stroll through and pick what you want from the pre made items or they will dish you a hot plate. We ordered the Swedish meatballs and the chicken cordon bleu. Both dishes came with a scoop of mashed potatoes and some vegetable mix.The meatballs and chicken were both good, mashed potatoes were ok and the vegetable side was not so good, just had a weird taste. it was an affordable meal and would be worth a trip back for some dinner and shopping. read more

Came back for the pizza. No improvement since last visit (about a year ago) when it comes to dirtyness and impolite and unprofessional staff. All tables are very sticky, they were apparently wiped off but not correctly (any soda spill needs to be cleaned with a dry wipe first). At the soda fountain, shoes get stuck in the messy soda spill carpet (that they have so they wont have to clean the floor in order to avoid any slip-and-fall lawsuits). When the pizza finally came they didnt cut it all the way through. So they dont even know how to use a pizza slicer, still the naive Swedish management thought it was a good way to employ these people. read more
3.75 Stars My husband and I had lunch at IKEA - Cafe a couple weeks ago. Excited by that visit, we returned this week for dinner. First thing's first. You can't beat the price point. Prices are ludicrous in that "Wait, are you sure this is right because this is far too kind to my budget" way. For dinner, we ordered the swedish meatballs plate, the salmon fillet plate, a bowl of soup, and a chocolate almond dessert. All-in, we paid $19.48. With salmon. And soup. And dessert! On the first visit, I had a small smoked salmon plate that came in at a whopping $4.99! Take that, fast food! The selection is great, too. Among the hot selections are chicken tenders with fries, swedish/chicken/veggie meatballs with a potato/veg cake and veggies, salmon filet with potato/veg cake and veggies, pasta with sauce, and chicken cordon bleu. There are several desserts in the cold case, along with various large plate salads and sandwiches. There is also a soup and salad far. At this station are smaller pre-boxed salads, two types of soup, an array of salad dressings, and garlic toast/cornbread by the slice. Taste is somewhat reminiscent of the host building's products. Looks beautiful and comes at a phenomenally low price, but you know it's not the best. For example, while the salmon was surprisingly beautifully cooked, the veggies lacked flavor or texture; tasting as though they were just slightly over-microwaved and recently removed from the freezer. The atmosphere is fantastic. Most of the area is illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows. You get great food porn here. I love how bright, yet relaxing, it feels. Truthfully, the star deductions come from the service and one other thing. On both recent occasions, I encountered cashiers at the end of the meal gathering process who seemed highly uninterested in making our brief encounter with each other a pleasant one. Both times were so off-putting that they confused me when experienced in such a clean and airy room. The other factor is that I had to go back for new utensils after finding a couple pieces weren't fully clean. read more

For $4 a meal... no right to complain... We had some shopping to do at Ikea and were hungry so Cafe we went. Cordon bleu (chicken with cheese) with fries and mixed veggies, Salmon with mashed potato and mixed veggies. I picked a smoked salmon appetizer. The price is very competitive but often the food is "warm". Salmon was too cooked. Fries were cold. They should offer bread or bagel with cream cheese to accompanied the Smoked salmon :/ the restaurant area is very nice and roomy. In europe Ikea offers a salad bar ... Something is missing ... Always been curious about the food at IKEA. Got the opportunity to try something at IKEA Cafe in Las Vegas. The cafe is located on the second floor. Lots of seating available. The setup is cafeteria style, and everything looks clean. Prices are attractively low. Food looks tasty. We weren't hungry, but I just had to try something. Of course, I chose something to satisfy my sweettooth. A slice of Blueberry & Raspberry Cheesecake for $2.99 Well, I was not impressed with it. Definitely, not the best. Just an average tasting cheesecake. I wasted my calories on it. I am sure we will try some Swedish Meatballs or Salmon next time we're at IKEA. Til then, they get 3 stars from me. read more

Amazing value for $$$. All the edible food looks well put together and the prices can not be beat. I am inspired to shop after my snack. No wonder Ikea does well. It has good food and shopping in 1 location. Can not be beaten. read more
It's been a while since I've been to the Ikea cafe, we decided to walk around and have dinner. We went on a Wednesday night, there where not too many people and enough seating area. We grabbed our cart tray and went in to grab food. At first glance there were plenty of dessert items, next to those there were chicken wraps which looked ok but who knows how long they were sitting there so I passed on those. I decided to go for the Swedish meat balls which came with mash potatoes, and veggies. The meat balls were good, not great but good, I remember having these and the taste was very different back in the day. Needless to say, I'm not sure if I'll order these in the future. The Wife went for the chicken and waffles. The chicken had good flavor and was freshly cooked. Her waffles on the other hand were not the best. They were actually rock hard, it looked like they may have been sitting under the warm lamp for a while. One thing that bummed me out were the fountain drink machines. One of them ran out of syrup on several drinks and the carbonation was over whelming. The other machine was not dispensing ice so you were forced to use the one everyone was trying to use at the same time. Overall I'm giving the cafe a 2.5 rating as I was not impressed with the food, and I know it is priced cheaply but that's no excuse especially when your promoting the food throughout the store. read more
After shopping in IKEA and its way past lunch my husband and I decided to eat at their cafe. The hotdog combo is such a deal. $2.50 for 2 hotdogs, chips, and a fountain drink. That sure filled us up. Then off to order some soft serve vanilla ice cream. Happy eats! read more
It's always hit or miss when you eat here. But when you consider the casualty of this cafe among the affordable quality of food then everything makes sense. I do love their tomato soup which isn't available daily, and their broccoli cakes and salmon (not salmon balls). I also appreciate the area of kids tables, movie and sensory walls. The kids always enjoy it. And I can also appreciate that nothing at this cafe goes to waste. They recycle, and complete everything which touches my eco friendly heart! So maybe this visit was a bust - cold food, unflavored, messy tables.... but we will be back again, because more times than not we've had good food that had flavor, clean tables and a good time. read more
Good eats on a budget. Cafeteria food at it's finest. "Why not, we're already here". That's how I would sum it up. Loft style restaurant, with modern Ikea-esque decor. Nice view of the mountains and the parking lot. Floor to ceiling windows, but don't worry, they are tinted so it keeps the heat out but lets the sunlight in. The kids love it too, so that's always an added bonus. My all-time favorite are the Swedish meatballs with steamed veggies with mashed potatoes. They are sold in the freezers near the cashiers, I always stock up when I'm there. Other go-to's are the smoked salmon, and not to mention the $1 breakfast of eggs, potatoes, sausage. Won't find it cheaper anywhere else. Another notable mention is the stuffed chicken, packed with flavor. Good portions too. Tip: Don't forget to get a food cart before you enter the line, you're gonna need it. ;) read more
So, it's IKEA, and everyone knows that's where you get cheap, I mean, "inexpensive," Scandinavian-inspired furniture that you have to collect, deliver, and then assemble yourself. But how many folks know that it is a good place to get a decent meal? Well, this gal does! I like the IKEA cafe. It's sunny, inviting, huge, and family-friendly. Believe it or not, it's even cool. I don't feel like a dork going there at all. You have the choice to sit at tables along the floor-to-ceiling windows, or high tops, or even in comfy leather armchairs with tables. All of the decor is IKEA's own, so you will be enveloped by the quirky, Scandi florals and neutrals, and jutes, and clean lines. The food is downright good...and CHEAP. (I mean, "economical.") You can get a full meal for around $10, if you're careful. And even less if you go for breakfast! I tend to go for lunch on a weekend, or occasionally dinner on a weeknight. I am a fan of their Salmon! (Really, you must try it if you like this sea creature. The Nordic preparation is killer). You can get it without fanfare, a side of mashed potatoes (prepared well), and steamed vegetables or salad. There is nothing super surprising here, unless you are just not familiar with the fare on offer. Swedish meatballs are the thing! This is what introduced me to IKEA when I was in college, well before I even knew about the glories of flat-packed furniture. These are dense little spheres of non-spicy nondescript goodness. You can buy them frozen and then heat them up and put toothpicks in for your guests. (Yes, this is how I entertained before I became a grown-up. Okay, I come clean, it's still what I do now..whatevs. :) You can also get these "meatballs" made out of only vegetables or chicken (the same thing, my husband would say). You pick up a tray (and a clever cart if you need one), and then take your food to the cashier, cafeteria style. Don't forget to pick up an empty, overturned glass or mug for your drink, which you could easily miss since they are drying in green kitchen crates on the way to the register (rookie mistake). Don't overlook the refrigerators where they have traditional Swedish drinks, including a tasty sparkling juice drink made from Lingonberry. Bus your tray at the end of your meal. If you sign up for the app/subscription, you can get free coffee and tea, with unlimited refills. You USED to be able to get free cappuccino and lattes (at the machine), too, but they JUST stopped it a few months ago. Now, you have to pay $1.62 for each cup, with no free refills. You get a token to put in the machine. Which, let's be real, is still super CHEAP (I mean, "reasonably priced.") Not going to break the bank, and a far cry from Starbucks. But it's annoying. Why take away a good thing? And though perhaps some might have been partaking a little too much of a good thing--(Ok, I admit to kicking back a few cappuccinos on an IKEA run)--it's not that different from the regular coffee, which also allows unlimited milk and sugar, and from the same machine--which is self-serve, anyway. It's a little bit of stinginess on the part of the local IKEA which, frankly, does not seem justified, considering that many of the cafe's patrons are also there buying furniture. And, despite the low-cost price tag, hundreds of dollars of furniture. And keeping us supplied in tasty cappuccinos is what brought me here more often where I would more than make it up to IKEA by buying some tchotchke that I didn't need, but seeing it there in a little white bin persuaded me to wonder how I possibly managed without it so long! Well, hopefully they keep the free Wi-Fi. Bring your laptop and stay all day, if you want. (I've done it). Just get the regular coffee. read more

IKEA Cafe is Cafe heaven of IKEA. You walk in with kitchen like ambiances and the food line is in the back, you first see to your right in a refrigerated container of desserts & cold food items. They have pescatarian, vegetarian & meat options. I went for the salmon pilaf which was the best decision I've went with and chose the vinaigrette sauce to go with the salad and overall it was great for the price and also another time I had the hummus wrap, which was not my favorite and would not recommend. It was not tasteful and it was bland. The chicken and waffles are also great with their signature heart waffles that adds a cute touch. The IKEA Cafe has lots to choose from and a great price point for all it has to offer. read more

Love the open dining area and cafeteria concept. They have a variety of dishes to choose from. Fun to shop at Ikea before/after a meal. Pricing is budget friendly and the food is delicious! read more

Their menu is very limited but what they make is very good. If you don't like Swedish meatballs, salad, or salmon then it's probably not for you. Their deserts are also a good choice. The mac and cheese is also excellent. They have several kids meals. It's cafeteria style eating off trays. Prices are very reasonable. read more

Food was ok for cafeteria food but the place was dirty. Not like they just had a rush, like hasn't been cleaned in a while. Plenty of staff around just misguided and doing who knows what. Will come back to shop but won't eat here... read more

Swedish meatballs are the staple, go to, food here at Ikea! Make sure you ask for gravy on your potatoes if you want extra! These are such a great little treat while shopping and reasonably priced! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. If you don't mind waiting in line cafeteria style, it's a great break while shopping and a yummy lunch! read more

Great cheap way to have breakfast and/or break Can't beat breakfast price. $1.99 for sausage, egg potato or add a $1 for pancakes. If you use your ikea card coffee is free! Honestly coffee is pretty good to. Go in before the store opens for shopping. Have breakfast do the first floor stop back in have cake and yes they have one cake that is gluten free one of my favorites to but it's full of sugar! And of course another cup of coffee to make sure you file Up for the lower level. Lol I did see fellow ikea shopper walking the lower floor while Drinking her cup of coffee. I made a comment about that been a genius idea. She reminded me The coffee is FREE with the Ikea card so she grabs and goes and leaves the cup at the lower cafe on the way out..... I'm actually thinking of just bringing my own refillable cup. Kinda surprised IKEA hasn't already thought of that idea ! So IKEA if you read this and decided to go with that flow .....your welcome ;) But back to the cafe. You are responsible for clearing your own table which unfortunately not everyone is polite enough to do. By the time we returned for that wonderful cake and coffee break there was a number of tables that need to be wiped down and some cleared. This is one of the reasons for taking a star away For families it's great to they have an area for the kids to eat and play. Love the little areas you can sit down and feel like your more in a living room then a restaurant The other thing I LOVE is the view of red rock. So in summary $1.99 breakfast, coffee and a view it's a beautiful thing. read more
The cafeteria itself is beautifully decorated as it should be since its IKEA, but I think the food is a little overrated. Not many complaints, however, because it's quite cheap but the quality just isn't that great. I will probably be back for the Swedish meatballs though! read more

Not happy. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Had hardly any meat. Asked for more meat and was told it would be extra. The meat did not even cover half the bun. If I wanted to eat bread I would have picked up a loaf of bread for 1/3rd the price at a grocery store. Also ordered a side of Sweedish meat balls. Only got four meatballs and when we sat down the were cold. Asked the cashier if the manager was in, he said no and blew me off. Threw most of it away. If you want a better deal on food at IKEA, get the hot dogs down stairs. read more
