Was really hoping for an affordable and yummy option in the park but sadly this is not the place. I came here on Jan. 16th and got a slice of pepperoni pizza. It was $7 - I thought it was a little pricey for a square of focaccia pizza but the pizza was okay so I didn't think twice. I took a pic of the menu to share with friends. I come back a week later and the same slice of pizza is FOURTEEN BUX! I was shocked. I showed the cashier the pic I took of the menu and they did t say anything to me about that being an opening launch special price. I really wanted a snack that day so I bought a oats/chia pudding with fruit and it was $12. Very pricey but it came in a reusable mason jar and I needed a jar so I said screw it. The staff are friendly and they def still had the "we are a new place and don't have everything figured out" vibe so won't fault them there. Just super disappointed at the price points. For a family of four all getting one slice of pizza and drinks they would probably spend close to $80. To spend this much is inaccesible for most. The Presidio Tunnel Tops offer such a gorgeous setting with lots of picnic tables and Adirondack chairs with beautiful native plans and a scenic view of the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. There's lot of reviews complaining about the price and that you get a cold piece. So I wanted to try for myself. I get that the prices are high. I'm sure rent at that location is costly. And we've seen Tik toks of people buying a $20 strawberry or dessert with real gold in it. People will dish out the dollars when the quality its worth it. I got pizza only, so can't comment anything else. Since they give it to you cold, I took it home and air fried it to give it delicious life again. I got a few different slices so I am not basing this off of one piece. Unfortunately, all of them were way too dry and lacking in flavor. I think it's the focaccia bread that is way too dry? The toppings unfortunately don't balance out the dryness. Like cardboard level stiffness and dryness. I hope they experiment and try some other pizza recipes. Really tried to give this place a fair chance. The service was unwelcoming. The food was brought out to us cold, and was lacking flavor. To top things off, they were short one slice of pepperoni pizza despite the fact that when we ordered we watched them set all slices aside to heat up. This means our prepaid slice was given away to someone else. When our food was brought out we were advised of the missing slice and told it would be 5 minutes for a replacement. Ok, no big deal. 20+ minutes later and still no pizza. The worker came out to tell us that they had not even started to make the pizza and asked if we wanted to wait even longer, or did we just want a slice of something else. I went here sometime in March of this year. I remembered seeing this on my instagram at some point and was happy to stumble upon it after a day at the park. It was around 6pm and the amazing display case of pizza got me! Here is what I remember Food: Honestly, delicious! I had a spicy soppressata pie with honey. It was very good in my opinion! The crust was so soft and pillowy, but had good chew. It held up its word with spicy, the sauce had a good tang and tasted fresh. The honey part really put it over the top as it was the balancing act that held everything together. *chefs kiss* 9/10 Price: was it expensive? a tad, yes. But my slice tasted fresh. For me, id rather pay for that than anything else. If your comparing to something like Square pie guys, then your not looking at your bill either, because one pie of 4 slices is 30 dollars! And their pizza is VERY ok and salty. ‍ Service: There was a bunch of staff around who were attentive and friendly. It was a very quick and casual interaction with the person who rang us up. 10/10 Overall: I'd go again if I were in the area. I live across the city and really came on this side of town to check out the new park. I'm glad I got to try it and see the hype for myself and I left with a smile on my face. I had high hopes for this place as it has an epic location. But they are riding on the location, as the products were overpriced and disappointing. If I had walked away from having had tasty, enjoyable food the price tag of $57 would have been steep but at least felt well spent. Instead I got: 2 slices of the cheese pizza. These were fresh-they brought out the batch as we stood there. This was a thick piece of focaccia bread with small dollops of sauce and cheese. The bread was hard and the pizza barely warm. This was mostly bread. I can't really call it pizza so much as pizza like. My mouth hurt from how hard the pizza was. My sister and I laughed through the process of eating it because it was just ridiculous and we were committed. We got one of the prepared salads--2 cherry tomatoes total and then all lettuce. Side dressing clearly had anchovies in it (classic for caesar) but there was not label to know that before hand. My bad for not asking but also they need to list what they are serving. It was hard to eat here as a vegetarian. Limited options. 2 drinks: 1 iced tea and 1 "ginger shrub drink". Both were bitter and watered down. We figured the chocolate chip cookie, which looked fluffy and delicious would save the meal. Wrong. It was back to us laughing while eating a very hard, crunchy cookie that just hurt my mouth more than the bread-with a little sauce situation. Overall, place has an aesthetic of being epic, lots of products that are brands sold all around that were restocked and resold in a apothecary sort of style. They had the "hu" brand chocolate in jars for $7 dollars-which is high for an already expensive chocolate. My sense is that the fact that they serve alcohol will keep them going. My hope is that this place reads reviews and improves their offerings. The look of quality is not the same as quality and this was not that. The overnight oats were terrible, but I had them in the fridge for a couple of days so maybe that had something to do with it. You don't realize until checkout why there are no prices listed. A small cup of coffee is $8. Pizza is $16 a slice. We got 2 slices of pizza, a cup of oatmeal, and a brownie and it came to $45. Food prices are high, especially in San Francisco, but these prices are ridiculous. It's too bad because I've been waiting for quite a while for a (reasonable) food shop to open in this location. The food tasted great. I'm a sucker for mortadella, so their mortadella on house-made focaccia was good. But the reason for my low rating echoes what others are pointing out -- the exorbitant prices. Il Parco's prices are well beyond the likes of a "New York City hot dog cart with no menu prices posted" kind of gouging. This feels like airport pricing, plus 50% more because of the view, and another 25% because they must cover the Presidio Trust's high rent in that location. It feels like they charge this pricing because their costs are too high to handle or because they know that tourists will pay it as once-and-done customers. One of the employees in line explained the high-quality meats and their preparation, which is excellent. I love small businesses that produce quality food. I'm willing to pay for quality, but there must be value to go along with it. $18 for a mortadella sandwich is too much when I can get 4x the high-quality mortadella in a 9" sub a few blocks away in the Marina for at least 25% cheaper. I really wanted to like this place because of the location, views, and the rave reviews on social media. It felt like it could be a great pitstop when I'm in the neighborhood or to take sightseeing friends to. But instead, thanks to the exorbitant prices, I won't be coming back. And I'll be sure to take my friends elsewhere for better-value food with a view. I recommend checking out the food trucks across the street or stopping into Presidio Bowl's snack shop, which offers more filling food at lower prices. read more

From an out of town visitors experience, it's fun! When we stayed at the Lodge down the street a few years ago, it was foggy/raining the entire trip, not much was open and learned everything is more expensive in the Presidio. So, when I saw Il Parco on IG, we were excited to pop in here before seeing a show at the Palace of Fine Arts. Arrived at 5pm, one hour before closing. Ordered one of each three focaccia pizza squares they offered at the time, no more were being made. Are they a little pricy at $16 each? Yes. Did we think they were good? Yes. But we love focaccia and are a sucker for the ambiance. What was obvious is the team is still figuring some things out. It was confusing where the line started until someone said to go through the doors, the cashier didn't know what pizzas we ordered, and asked us if the things that fell from the display were ours. The guy cutting the squares also came off a little overwhelmed (kinda rude), when I asked if any more squares were coming out. Overall, experience it once and if you're local, watch it grow. When visiting, grab items to go and sit outside of the enclosed area. Our view of the bridge and people watching really made the experience magical. read more

I ordered the Spicy Soppressata Pizza ($16) and Tuscan Kale Salad ($15). The pizza, although thick, was light. True, a little light on the toppings. But nonetheless tasty (and yes they warmed it up for me). The Kale Salad was delicious with almonds, raisins, apples and a tasty dressing. I followed that up with an Oatmeal Cookie Sandwich ($6).
