Unique spot in Morristown specializing in Japanese American cuisine. Never had bad service here and the food is always fresh and delicious. I would hands down recommend their sushi burritos. You can customize your sushi burrito but the "American Dream" is my favorite. Their Bao's are tasty as well. Their pork belly bao is so savory and cooked well. My partner looooves their ramen, though it is not my favorite thing on the menu. Their portions do fill you up but also leave you wanting more. This is a great spot for lunch or dinner. Don't waste your time and money. Terrible customer service. I ordered a poke bowl, and my rice was ice cold and hard as if it was just taken out of the fridge. When I asked the girl at the counter if it was supposed to be cold, she said something to the effect of - we make the rice at the beginning of the day so we try to use it up. So... that didn't answer my question. Did she have any clue? When I asked if it could be heated up, she looked at me completely annoyed as if it was a huge inconvenience. She took my bowl, and then she proceeded to ask someone else to do it. That person had no idea what to do, and I had to explain myself all over again. Weekday night quick warm dinner - absolutely! I've been itching to try this place - especially with not a ton of ramen spots to choose from around here. The $12 miso ramen bowl was not a disappointment - the noodles were perfect, not too much corn and the sliced pork was good too, although a little on the dry side. I am definitely going for the vegetable one next time, i feel like more veggies in this (outside of corn) would have tasted a little better... But that's just me. My dinner date had the Shoyu ramen and was very pleased with it. Decor - walls are covered in inspirational quotes and frames, looks like a good spot for lunch time. My family and I were pretty excited to see a ramen restaurant open in Morristown, but after our meal there we'd be happier if it left. Rather than inspirational, the decor struck me as overwhelmingly commercial. It seemed like a misguided corporate attempt to be "hip". We dined in, all our food was served in plastic to-go containers, which created an unpleasant dining experience and is the opposite of inspirational for our planet. I know washing dishes isn't the most fun activity in the world, but when you're a restaurant it's probably something you should be willing to do. I have been so excited for the opening of this establishment. Finally it opened and I had a fabulous experience here! I only had a sushi burrito, but that's all I needed to judge. The staff was super friendly and helpful to us first timers. They told us what they thought would be good with my sushi burrito, and were honest with us about what wouldn't be. Overall, my very anticipated sushi burrito was great! I got salmon and tuna ($2 for extra "inspiration"or meat, well worth it). There was a generous amount of meat on the burrito, and it did not taste fishy, it actually was pretty fresh! I also got guacamole, cucumber, oshinko, and spicy mayo. Next time, I will 86 the oshinko. One thing I would say is to cut up the cucumber more to make it thinner, it was too thick and was falling out. Except that, it was very yummy! I want to come back soon and explore other options! So happy this place opened, definitely a great asset to the Morristown area! P.S. I hope it creates a delivery option soon :) read more

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have great reviews so I guess I'll give it an honest good review. While the poke may not be straight out of the waters of Hawaii, the portions and quality for the area make me want to give this place a 5/5. I always opt for making my own and everything just tastes good. I never leave feeling hungry and customizing it just makes it 100X more delicious. The service was great as well, everyone was very friendly and checked up on us. We had a big group so we had to put the tables together and they didn't give us any problems about it. We came here after visiting some of the historical sites in Morristown (Ford's Mansion and Fort Nonsense). I have been here before and enjoyed the sushi burrito and came here a second time to end up really enjoying the ramen, especially on a cold day. I got the spicy tonkatsu and probably everything about it was amazing. It also tastes just as good the day after. The broth is very flavorful and I liked the texture of the noodles. I really enjoyed the pork and was stingy when my boyfriend tried to steal one from me he he. My boyfriend tried the Einstein roll and we both really enjoyed it except that he wished there was more shrimp tempura inside of it. I like that they have a jug of tap water that is complimentary instead of having to purchase bottled water. Also, it's fun to read all of the quotes on the wall lol. Probably the only down side to the restaurant is that it is street parking, so we did have to walk 2 blocks to get to this place. The service at this location is horrible. We ordered a couple of burritos tonight to go. The server asked us four times to repeat our order. We ordered an Earhart. When we got home they had given us a different combination of things in a burrito called the Hepburn. It wasn't what we ordered and we paid in cash and when we called the manager suggested that we drive all the way back there in Friday night rush hour traffic to either get a refund or replace the burrito. I got the build your own rice bowl and it was just ok. I am not a big fish person so I was happy they had chicken on the menu but they ran out of grilled chicken and I ended up with popcorn chicken. I added peanuts (crushed not whole) and fried onions (more like onion essence). I topped it with teriyaki sauce. This "American dream" sushi burrito was very good and creative, but almost paled in comparison to the incredibly impressive ramen and the pork buns! Bowls of ramen are reasonably priced and amazingly tasty and hearty, while the pork buns are just so damn savory and the perfect texture. I don't know what the "bun" actually is, but I would totally totally capitalize on that! I would add more filling options to them like bacon, fried chicken, and crispy fried fish too! I think Ramen is all about the broth. The spicy pork broth based and the regular chicken broth based ramens I tried were both just okay. They didn't leave me yearning for that next spoonful of the broth or the urgency to put the bowl to the mouth to finish every drop of the soup. it was merely just an experience of eating noodles in a seasoned broth that left me somewhat disappointed.
