I would give this place a "0" if I could! This place doesn't even deserve a 1 for what I experienced yesterday! Yesterday (11/30/18 at about 4.20pm) I went to Jack in the Box on the corner of Valley and Santa Rita Road, Pleasanton, 94566, CA, to get nuggets for my two children. It was the first time I have ever been to a JITB. The drive through was busy and I was kept waiting over 10 mins for my order. (which was fine because I could see they were busy) When the food was finally ready, the lady at the drive through (Laura), threw everything, upside down, in the bag. I said everything has fallen out because you put everything in upside down. She said "Sorry we are busy, what do you want me to do?" I said not be so rude (She could have said sorry let me re pack it for you) - she yelled "I SAID SORRY BITCH" (in front of my children). I get that it was busy but I waited 10 mins for my food so what is another 30 sec to put the food in the bag properly? The bag the food was given to me in was crumpled, ripped and had a hole in the bottom of the bag. It looked like the bag was taken out the bin. I am a paying customer and do not expect to be sworn at (ESP IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN) and have my food thrown at me like I am a dog! I rang the store and spoke to the store manager (Keith). He initially tried to defend the server and said the server wasn't calling me a bitch! I said she did because she was looking straight at me so there is NO mistaking she was speaking to me, and both my children heard it! I pointed out that he was right next to her when it happened and he can't deny she wasn't talking to me. He offered me a refund and offered me free food. I took the refund but I was not after free food so declined the offer. He said that he was going to dismiss the server. That was my first visit to a JITB and that was my last! I am absolutely appalled that the staff can speak to their customers like that (esp. in front of children) SHOCKING! NEVER AGAIN! read more

This week, at around 9:30pm, our group arrived where a guy was at the counter talking to a cashier in Spanish who then disappeared. Thinking he ordered something, we waited over 10 minutes just chatting with this guy. When I wondered amongst our group what was taking so long, this guy said they're busy with the drive-thru & left. He wasn't a customer! As we asked the staff if they were going to take our order, they continued to ignore us. Our group started to leave, and I asked for names (no one wore name badges). A female worker finally approached the cashier with an aggressive stance and yelled, "First of all, no one speaks English here." Before she could continue, I asked for her name and she said, "Laura", and we left. They locked the doors after us around 9:45pm before closing, so another group couldn't get in. I used to go to Jack in the Crack, like, once an hour when I was in high school in Livermore. Spicy, crispy chicken sandwiches were my crack at age 17. Now crack is just my crack. But that's another story. OK, so I don't eat chicken anymore, or any other kind of meat until I re-added seafood a year ago. So I basically never go to Jack in the Box. But today I wanted a friggin' side salad to go with my leftover Annie's Mexican mac 'n' cheese that had been sitting in a warm car for three hours. I was not disappointed. After pulling up in my sweet ride that says "wash me" on the passenger door (I did not write that), I asked the nice man on the intercom, "Do you have, like, a side salad?" Because I did not see it on the menu. Yes, they have a side salad, but no, there is no Italian dressing. Ranch it is. $1.73 later and I've got the bag -- complete with a separate crouton package -- on my car floor on my way in to work. This was one semi-delicious fast food salad; I shit you not. I'm pretty sure it was the ranch dressing that made me love a Jack in the Box side salad like never before, but it could've been the multiple mini tomatoes. Or the shredded carrots. Or maybe one of two cucumber slices. i rarely eat fast food much these days but i gotta give 4 stars to jack in the box for this pleasanton location. it's one of the cleanest franchises and so very fast. and now that jack in the box serves breakfast all day i can always get my favorite breakfast sandwich ever, the supreme croissant. this is so darn scrumptious and one of the least fatty items on the menu believe it or not. it's ham cheese bacon and a fried egg in between 2 croissant halves. you have to ask for sauce if you want the mayo that was commonly served standard. trust me this is a very tasty breakfast sandwich. you gotta try this jack in the box location because where else can you get a white guy working at a drive thru these days?! read more

We waited in line for about maybe 15 mins never once took our order I told my boyfriend to pull up to the window waited and waited finally she came and took , our order she seemed really annoyed told when she was taking our order I don't mind waiting but the fact that was rude really annoyed me I asked her "why is the service so slow " she told me we'll do you know anybody who can work at night ? They get your order wrong about 40% of the time so you might want to check your order before leaving. The get the order to you quick like most other fast food restaurants. I picked up a Deluxe hamburger plus medium curly fries for under $4.00, not bad for a fast food and I missed having Jack in the Box. Drive Thru was fine except, whoever just left their Black Celica/Honda behind (middle of Drive thru traffic), some of the drivers going through the Drive Thru and out the other end had a hard time getting out "Thanks" to the moron (driver) who left their car unattended to run back inside. If you're reading this, "Have you ever heard of a parking lot? If so, use it next time." Sometimes, I don't understand how some people even got their License let alone pass their driving test. i had a bad experience with the 22 year old manager here. Poor kid couldn't make a decision to save his life. he just punched buttons in the register, looked at me and said "I can't do it" WTF?!?! Your the boss kid, you can do it. I also learned on a separate occasion you can not walk through the drive through when you are waiting for the police to clear out the bar. HORRIBLE!!!! I went to the drive through 1/16/18 and ordered an Oreo shake, a small fry, and a plain grilled cheese. One lady started taking my order and then a separate one finished and they kept bouncing back in between. When I ordered those three items, the first woman responded with, "so you want a large Oreo shake and a large fry" and I said "a regular Oreo shake and a small fry and a plain grilled cheese". She said, "okay so a regular shake and small fry" I said, "yes and a plain grilled cheese." And then the other lady came over and very rudely said, "you want a BLT? This is a different person talking to you" and I said, "no, a plain grilled cheese" and she responded sounding extremely annoyed by saying, "there is no plain grilled cheese, so I'll just give you two buns with no cheese." And I said, "no, I want the cheese, but at other places such as in n out, they put lettuce tomato and spread on the grilled cheese." She said, "well all it comes with is cheese and bread so you don't need to order it like that. It doesn't work that way" again sounding very rude. I pull up to the window and pay and the lady asked me if I wanted my receipt. I said yes and when I checked it, she gave me a nasty look and rolled her eyes and muttered that I didn't need to check it. A life long customer to Jack, the past 20 years the menu has been anything but sterling. Where are the 'Classics'? 'Original' Jumbo Jack, Bonus Jack, Moby Jack and Super Taco. The 'Fish Filet Sandwich' is terrible. Only 80% of the sandwich is done. You have to put on your own Secret Sauce or Tarter sauce. Fish chunks between a bun? Get real. (what restaurant makes you complete your sandwich like that?). A nightmare in the car while driving. It's just cheap. And the tacos, well, they also we're great. But since '03 the cheese has been reduced like 50%, so they are only 1/2 classic. The constant changing of fries. 3 times in ten years, leaves me yearning for the orignial Jack in the Box. The company is ran by a dame. The very reason for the changes...she can't make up her mind! But I have! My visits have been reduced from 8+ a week to maybe 1 each month. ***BE WARNED*** You can't have it like you want it at Jack in the Box. Think Twice. **Stop and Think Again** Really, it's that bad. And this new Jumbo Junk - Ciabatta is very overpriced. This place is great during the day, but don't expect a fast and friendly visit after 11pm this establishment tries to trick customers by blocking the drive thru and barricading it just so people won't go through it. This place is supposed to be open 24/7, so the third time I came to see it blocked I got pissed and ran over all of their barricades.
