At first glance I thought this place was a sub par subway. They didn't have their cookies or even the available meats on display so they had to grab each ingredient needed from the back. Strange seeing as it was mid day...shouldn't everything be out and ready? Anyway, I ordered a wheat breaded salami and provolone toasted sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes and onions complimented with a bag of kettle BBQ and a sierra mist soft drink...washed down by 2 chocolate chip m&m cookies. The ingredients were fresh and I enjoyed every bite. I thought the service was nice, friendly and efficient albeit unprofessional in appearance and behavior between the workers. Horrible location!!!! I will never go back there!!! Staff was Unfriendly, and unattentively clueless. I ordered thru their app and gave them an extra 20 minutes because I knew it was going to be the lunch rush hour. I show up and their is a massive line and a bigger one for to go orders. Staff was ignoring the to go line and only paying attention to the order at store customers. Had the worst sub of my life, the Philly Chicken Sub. One bite and I threw it in the trash. It was definitely not white meat chicken, the cheese sauce or what passed for cheese had the worst taste imaginable, the same with the tasteless vegetables. These guys are great! I have THE WORST luck with my simple orders at restaurants and more than likely end up with something wrong, especially when the establishment is busy. I called for pickup an hour before 12:30, the time I needed it. When I walked in, the deli was bustling. Despite my worry, there is a reason this location is so busy. Everyone is all dimples when helping helping customers while banging out some of the best subs you ever seen(or tasted). They got my order 100% correct. I had the #17 Philly cheese steak and oh my lord it was the bomb.com! Packed with ingredients and nice and hot! Thanks guys! Everyone working today deserves a pat on the back for their great effort in helping customers out today! One thing I would recommend, though, it to update the pick up option on yelp. This jersey mike's location is organized. Their turkey provolone is tasty and consistent. Team members always have a mask on every time I go in and are friendly. Their subs are better than subway, jimmy johns, etc. sandwich chains. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes even if there are a few people in line. The few times I've been here during covid, most people tend to follow social distancing guidelines and they have signs in place. read more

I called ahead to ask how long the line was, and the clerk said it wasn't to the door. I walked out of my building and down one block, and it was to the corner. - 1 star for idiot clerks. Standing in line during one of their grand-opening days, the clerk asked if I needed any info. When I replied 'no' he did it anyway. -1 more star for stupid clerks. Our office was given a stack of cards offering complimentary subs, limit one per customer per visit. A coworker of mine used a card, and on a separate day, in accordance with the terms on the card, they told her no, as she had already used a card one before. -1 point for douchebag ownership. Just had the #13 Italian Cold Cut combo here and I thought it was really good! I got the mini (because its still quite a large portion) in "mike's style" on wheat and thought it was really light. The flavors were good - but I'll probably add some jalapeno peppers next time. Thought the service was really good, the wait wasn't too long, the ingredients were fresh, and the area was clean. Great sandwiches and great friendly people working behind the counter. My only qualm with this place is that sometimes they are making catered orders out front during lunch. Its pretty annoying having to wait in line for 15-20 minutes to get a sandwich because they are trying to complete the order for a large office party of 100 people. They should split the labor up and have people working in the back on these orders and some people up front tending to the large customer base that frequents there during the busy lunch time hours. They definitely need to become more efficient in this but overall good food. read more

Decided to try out this place for lunch the other day. A medium (~7") sub, chips and drinks ran $10 even. The food was ok but the whole assembly line process to make the subs is really confusing. Apparently you order from one person, add the toppings with another person, watch another person wrap it and pay the guy on the end. I couldn't even figure out who I needed to talk to so my sub wasn't drenched in oil and vinegar like the guy's in front of me. I understand that this place is new to BH but having a super-excited and cheery staff gets kind of annoying. Hopefully it'll wear off and the employees will start to act normally. The dude at the register did hook me up with a free cookie so that's alright in my book. I definitely did not get the sub I ordered but it was easier just to smile, nod and say "yes please" than try to understand what they were asking me. It was definitely the most confusing ordering process I've ever had at a fast food-sandwich joint. Some signage would be nice (Order here - Toppings here - etc.) Not a bad addition to the Beverly Drive scene but quality's just as good and value's better at Subway across the street. read more

I love this place I come here literally 3-5 times a week because of how much I love the quality! Amazing staff, AMAZING!! Very kind and helpful! Amazing fresh food, very clean and tasty! They know how to make sandwiches over here, I can never get sick of them! Fresh baked cookies are amazing as well, I always grab some for on the road. Crazy as it sounds I even come here to watch games especially since now it's nba playoffs times, they don't even mind changing the channel to what game you want to watch, and they even turn it up full volume so you can enjoy your meal and the game! I wish I was able to rate the service and the actual food separately. The sub was just as delicious as I remembered previously , so in that department it was amazing. Now lets get into the service , we went at lunch hr on Friday and thank god when we walked in there was no one in line. We were greeted by a blond woman who was very unwelcoming even after I said how are u doing. She presided to make my sandwich and then make my coworkers, without writing any of it down .... AND to top it all off the gentleman helping her make the sandwiches was in training or new. She was so rude to him and made him so nervous by how rude and intimidating she was being he completely messed up our order ( he was shaking and I'm not exaggerating) . Poor guy it was not his fault and i made it very clear. It got so bad that I finally had to say something, and she still was rude!!!Thankfully the manager saw i was visually upset after calling her out on her attitude and how she was treating him that he gave me a discount and apologized for her behavior. The manager was extremelly nice and tried to make the experience better. Moral of the story: Food is great , but watch out for that broad. God forbid you have 2 separate orders. read more

Wow delicious Subs!! Never been here before, I love the food, and the people are so freakin nice!! Refreshing considering people are jerks this side of town... BUT SO KIND HERE!!! My first experience, they took the time to explain to me what this place was all about. Manager was setting across from me having a meeting with his employees... He seems like a cool guy, then he immediately took a meeting with a lady needing a job. Could not help but notice how caring he was with her... Genuine people here. I'm so impressed. I'll be back. I like the food here. Simple, relatively healthy and quick for pick up or eat in. But for some reason, at this specific location, every time I order for pick up, the order is never correct. It's either the wrong order, they don't bother to put the order in a bag unless you ask (at which point they get annoyed) or they are late on pick up time by at least 5 minutes. The late thing happens every time. This location was not like this a year ago but now, it happens each time without fail. Food is good. Pros: - The sandwich tasted good (Turkey and Provolone was the menu item I ordered, but i asked for pepper jack cheese instead.) Nothing really too special. Jersey Mike's is definitely better than Subway, but I prefer Quizno's and Togo's. Still, I did like the sandwich. The bread was good and interesting. Cons: - Overpriced for the quality. - Very, very limited seating, especially during the lunch time. Looks like this is a very hot spot for phoned-in orders, which slows down the process because the customers who are actually in the store have to wait longer while the counter staff are busy working on the phone orders. I have never been one to phone in food orders, and am always annoyed when somebody who placed an order cuts in front of me in line saying "I'm picking up a to-go order." - Need more variety of toppings, and the area behind the counter was extremely messy (guacamole bits and pieces of jalapeno spilling over into the mayonnaise bin, etc etc.) - Workers do not ask you "What would you like for your toppings?" They just kind of stare blankly at you and expect you to tell them what you want on it. If you say nothing, they'll just pile it high with lettuce, a few tomatoes, and a whole bunch of mayo and oil and vinegar. It's noisy in there, so you might have to yell, but they WILL make it the way you want it...with their not-very-many available toppings. I'd go back again sometime, but maybe not to this location. I went to a location in the valley quite awhile back, and at that time I think it was even more overpriced and that's why I didn't return. As I say, I really prefer Quizno's and Togo's but they're a little harder to find. Subway has raised its prices so much that I've all but quit going there - they're getting close to what Jersey Mike's charges (although they don't deserve to.) read more

Just walked in here (nobody else in line) and stood in front of the counter for 5 minutes with nobody acknowledging my presence. 4 employees present, one eating at the table, one making a sandwich, and two in the back talking to each other. Ive been eating Jersey Mike's for years.. I've been to many, many other locations. Usually, all the locations maintain the same level of customer service. This location in Beverly Hills is terrible. I have never seen a more miserable bunch of people who have a complete lack of customer service. Extremely slow, and they stack weak, light sandwiches. I had the slicer guy weigh the sandwich and he gave me attitude and wanted to charge me for adding extra meat. The sandwich ended up being under weight and to make up for it, he threw on a previously cut price of meat that was laying on the counter. I said hell no, and made him through it out because I thought that was disgusting. No apologies and no comfort here from this group of losers. I have never seen so many un happy customers in one line. I'll never go back to this location and never recommend it. read more

THIS REVIEW IS STRICTLY ON SERVICE - NOT FOOD. I'm a very thorough person. I feel like a lot of errors and mistakes in life are due to poor communication, so I try my hardest to lay everything out so everyone is on the same page and things get done properly. I called Jersey Mike's on Beverly on a Wednesday night to place an order for Snickerdoodle cookies. It was for my coworker, who LOVES their cookies, as a good bye gift on her last day of work. I called, asked them if was possible to get 12 cookies done by 1pm Thursday. They said yes, took my name and phone number down. Great. I'm excited. Why? Because I rarely do nice gestures, so I'm feeling good that I'm going to get a friend her favorite cookies. Thursday, 1 pm arrives. I'm running behind so I call to see if the cookies are done. The guy that answers the phone looks for my order and says yes, they'll be done by 1pm. It's past 1. So unless he plans on going back 2-3 minutes in time, I don't see how he'll have my 1pm order done past 1pm. Alright, I decide I'll give them an extra half hour to complete my order. I show up at 1:30 to pick up the cookies. I'm told it will take 7-10 more minutes for them to cool. I'm annoyed at this point. They didn't have them ready at 1 when I expected them to be and they don't have them ready the 30 mins extra I gave them. So I wait...time passes...cookies are ready. I pay for them, $6 + $3 tip because I can't stand not tipping. Plus, $9 for my friend's favorite cookies on her last day is a drop in the bucket. As I'm walking out, I open the box to check the cookies (remember my first line? I'm a very thorough person). The cookies are chocolate chip M&Ms. I take it back in and say "These aren't snickerdoodles." They apologize and say they'll correct it. 5 mins later the cookie maker comes from behind the counter and tells me they don't have any snickerdoodle cookies (or mix or whatever, he couldn't make them). I'm fuming. I'm not a yell at you for FUCKING up kind of person, but you can read it over my face. Everyone's apologizing. It takes 1 cashier and 2 managers to finally get my refund back to me. And nobody spoke anything about compensation for really dropping the ball. My coworker laughed all this off, saying it's the thought that counts. And suggested I try the one in Hollywood next time. First time at this location but I have been to the one in Brea several times. I always get the turkey & provolone on wheat "Mike's way" which is oil, vinegar, and their special seasoning blend. I have brought a few people to this chain and every one has loved the sandwiches. I have also tried the buffalo chicken which is great as well. You can turn any sandwich into a salad. Sign up for the birthday club to get a special offer for your birthday. Staff was friendly. The only down side to this location is that you have to find and pay for street parking but that is standard in Beverly Hills. read more

Well I thought I would give this one a try and see how it compared to Subway sandwich stores. First of all the help was very attentive and helpful and the place appeared to be clean. I asked about gluten-free bread and they told me they differently offer it. I ordered a sandwich and they charged me more for the gluten-free option which they are entitled to do. But I am not happy that they did not mention this up front or post it on the menu. A restaurant has the right to charge what they want but I think it's important to be up front regarding the true and correct price BEFORE the customer orders. This did not happen. The amount of protein product that I ordered was weak and the selection of garnishes was minimal. I would love for this establishment to succeed but they have to do a better job at their overall job here. read more
