I literally just left. I completely understand that they were busy but do not mess up sandwich. They were rushing trying to get people out. If there is one think I hate the most is oil on my bread. I said no oil no onions, next thing I know they are putting a ton of oil on my sandwich. I ask for a new one and they literally were going to give me the same wet bread, and just change the toppings, so , I asked for a new bread and their answer was "is just oil". Are you kidding me? Yes! I know is just oil and not poison, but I want to eat what I like, not what you think is right. They finally gave a whole new sandwich and then try to act like I was asking for donations. I paid for my food. And I didn't even use the coupon, buy one get one free, and they'll make a donation that every single person in there was using. No that there is anything wrong with using them, but you'll be keeping my sandwich's money. I paid full price. The decent thing to do for a client, for who YOU messed up a sandwich, is replace it with a whole new one. read more

My other review was deleted because they didnt like the fact that I called them out. Any ways, my experience here is terrible. They are slow, they take their sweat time, and for the love of all that is holy, do not order a hot sub without pre ordering it. They take so long, 8 people can walk in, get their cold subs made and walk out, and yours will not be ready 30 minutes later. They employ a ton of kids who joke around with customers all while you sit in their uncomfortable wooden chairs staring and waiting like a helpless dog. Stay away. read more

My God...do these corporates actually TRY this crap before they serve it? The only thing I eat from here (once in a blue moon) is their turkey. I dared and tried the pastrami reuben today it was the most disgusting looking and tasting sandwich I think Ive even eaten. So much so that I have nothing better to do came home to fume here. Lumps of fatty, unchewable hunks of spit-out nasty meats, over...and over..and...over. 5-6 times. Ended up eating the gooey 1000x island slathered to fucking death and bread, threw away 90% of the terrible pastrami, being generous not calling is morphed guts turd shit crap garbage. Unreal that a sub place who claims a sub above and 20,000 leagues under the fucking sea on this one. I know its a chain sandwich shop but you cant go wrong with Jersey mikes. Its just good.. The only thing I would change is the bread. I would like the bread lil softer. But thats just me. If there was a contest of who could make the slowest sandwich, this Jersey Mikes would win the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE. Jokes aside, the employees have no sense of urgency when working. I stood there waiting 30+ minutes in the store before cursing myself for choosing to eat a sandwich that day. Today I foolishly thought it wouldn't be so bad to order 2 subs through Uber Eats. I ordered at 10:45am and it's currently 12:10pm. The order is not even ready for pickup! The driver that was assigned to pick it up canceled because the order was taking so long and now the app is looking for a new driver. I have a feeling it's going to be difficult to find a new delivery driver to accept the order because they all KNOW this place takes 40 years to make 2 sandwiches. I tried calling to ask what was taking so long and they don't answer. I know that understaffing is a huge issue. I work in food, I don't normally get this upset over food taking so long. But this is beyond my comprehension. What are you doing?? Does management care? It should not take this long to make a sandwich. This is a joke. Worst jersey mikes ever!!! Slowest service!!! I don't know what the issue is there but there line is always insane. And if you watch the way they take each person it's like 1 person every 5 mins or more. If you go to the location next to Best Buy on Tampa or the one on balboa and the mixx neither of them are this slow. Even when their lines are long they manage and go through it. But the jersey mikes on Chatsworth if there is more then 2 people in line you'll be there at least 15 mins and tack on 5 mins for each added person. It's CRAZY. They need to work on their efficiency. I gave 2 stars because my wife is about to have a baby and has been craving it for 9 months now (can't have deli meat) and so I wanted a gift card for her once our baby arrives (due date 3/27) and they ran out. Well. For starters, I know I look like a beautiful woman but I'm a man. When I first was being helped I was called miss when the worker asked what I wanted to order. Then as I order I can sense the mf workers laughing about it. I'd expect the other male worker (with a ponytail as well and i had my hair in a bun) to understand. But no the two kept on addressing me as man, and sir. It was honestly pretty condescending. As I walk out I can hear the workers cackle. I emailed the manager and got no response. I love their subs, and I'm a creature of habit I always get the #7 Turkey with provolone. yum =P. The cheese and turkey is just perfect, the turkey itself is thinly sliced and just tastes perfect. On my good days I get it without the bread and it tastes just as good. The people working here are super nice and I just love their sandwiches but they are a lilttle pricey. Online service review: The app lagged when cpnfirmaing payment and said the store may not have received my order so give them a call to confirm.. no big deal, so I gave them a ring and there was no answer... okay maybe a little busy in there so I tried again, nothing. Tried twice more with the same yield. I am not over exaggerating when I say that after the 9th time calling I was very upset. My order never showed up, and I cannot drive right now due to a prior heart condition. It's not the company I am upset with, but the blatant disregard for over the phone customers that this location must have is upsetting. You may be busy, but even picking up the phone to tell me "please hold" would be better than nobody answering AND my order never showed up!!!? Customer support said they cant so anything over email, I have to call.. so what now? I'm out 25 bucks and no dinner. :( read more

After much deliberation I decided to pay Jersey Mikes Subs a visit at their Granada Hills location. I was underwhelmed by the entire jersey experience. Staff: on my visit the staff consisted of 3. My issue was the cashier only ringing people up instead of helping his coworkers make the sandwiches quicker. I say this becuase the line continued to grow and the cashier would stand around making jokes to the other employees. My advice to the mgr or owner would be to propely train your staff on how to make a sub quick and efficient. Also train them to have some descent level of professkonalism. Food: I ordered the tuna sub which includes onions and tomatoes. I chose not to have the olive oil, red wine vinagerette, or iceburg lettuce ruin my sandwich. The taste was ok nothing special and definetely not worth the price. I found no huge difference betwen Jersey Mikes tuna compared to Subway's tuna sub. Overall, i was looking forward to jersey mikes subs being my new go to spot for quick sandwiches but ill stick with subway. At least my wallet is happy. read more

Pretty awesome sandwiches. In my opinion this place blows away subway and Quiznos. The bread, veggies and deli meats seem tastier and fresher to me. Also the sandwich options make sense. If it's your first time, I recommend the club with avocado. The staff (not only here but at various locations I've been to) seem laid back and easy going. After some time at the park and the heat of the day we both were craving a cold lunch. Jersey Mike's was the first suggestion out of my fiancé's mouth and thought it was a terrific idea. We have been here a number of times before, but this one was the best by far. The gentleman whom handled my sandwich was kind enough to ask me if I would like him to change his gloves before handling my veggie sandwich with no cheese since he had been dealing with meat in the previous order. I said yes and he did change his gloves which in my book counts for so much and made me feel like he cared about my order. The lady at the cash register was kind enough to mark which sandwich was the veggie so there was no confusion upon opening them. The sandwich was perfect with it being soaked with the red wine vinegar just the way I like it. My sandwich was tasty and loaded with all the veggie goodies I could ever want with Mike's way spicing up my life. I will be back for some tastiness another time! read more

Have had a few problems with different Jersey Mike's over the last couple years, but today was an example of how you do it right. Walked in and the young woman working asked what she could get me and got the sandwich going. She passed it on to another worker who asked how I wanted it and asked if I wanted bacon on it. I said no since their bacon is too salty for my taste. He then asked if I wanted a bit more meat on the sandwich instead. I said sure. Nice people, added service, good sandwich. I'm so happy they built a Jersey Mikes in the area! Yum Yum! If you like subs/sandwiches this is the place to go! It is 1000x's better than Subway, ick. Jersey Mikes is so fresh and tasty! The bread tastes like it was baked minutes before you order, and they cut the meat and cheese in front of you. I'm not a big mayo/mustard fan, so I usually order the Turkey and Provolone(very low fat - 99% fat free turkey) and yummy fresh provolone! I order it on their wheat bread (a regular size) with no mayo/mustard with only vinegar and spices! SO good and only 500 calories ( I love that their site gives you the nutritional info). Their vinegar adds a good kick and the spices are what really give their subs flavor! I've tried a number of combinations like the Club Sub (also great if you like bacon!) Very flavorful and delicious, but I'm trying to cut down on fat so I don't order that one anymore! I would definitely recommend Jersey Mikes in Granada Hills. The customer service is great even though it's a bunch of high school and college kids! It's so quick and easy to get food that's relatively low calorie and delicious! If you like hot subs, I would say they are average. I've tried to philly cheesesteak and meatball and they are both just "okay." I can make better meatballs at home, so stick to the cold sandwiches! Great sandwich, they taste great, 100 times better than subway and quiznos but for me the portions of meat are to small. The east coast sandwich tradition of making sandwiches is about a pound of meat. It is so thick that it doubles the bread so if this franchise is going to call them selves Jersey Mikes they have to set the expectation. For those who want to experience the essence of fine sandwiches if u ever go to Ny or NJ just go to any mom/pop deli and ask for anything with meat and u will c what I am talking about. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could! So I went in today to get a sandwich and while in line I saw a crew member cross contaminating all the food. I asked to speak with a manager. It took more than 5 minutes to speak with the manager. In that time I watched her make 4 sandwiches. She didn't change her gloves once, I watch her put avocado spread on a sandwich and she got some of it on her gloves and then put her hands all in the lettuce. She then put onions on the sandwich and then I guess decide there were to many so she took some of and threw the rest back into the onion bin, now cross contaminating all the onions as well. This really upset me because I am ALLERGIC TO AVOCADO. When the manager finally came over to speak with me he didn't seem to care at all. He offered no sort of remedy like changing out the bins of food so I could order food their. All he said was "okay, thanks." He didn't pull her off the line or anything. This is a major health code violation! If you have any food allergies I'd recommend not coming to this Jersey Mike's! read more

Be very careful and make sure you watch the staffs every move. While waiting in line we witnessed an employee drinking from a small water cup a drink from the soda machine, he then goes to the front and refills he's cup pressing it on the soda machine... it has a big clear label that says use new cups for refills, if they expect customers to do it, they should follow the rules too. Second they don't wash hands in between glove changes. He will touch cash or register etc and then grab the outside of the gloves the their dirty hands and contaminate the outside and then touch our food. read more

I want to start off by saying the food is great which is why I gave 2 stars. The customer service on the other hand is way below standards. Placed an online order at 12:20 selected option for asap(within 15 minutes). Order wasn't ready until 12:50. And the employees are very rude. I walked in and provided my name for the online order and was told to allow 10 more minutes. Then 10 minutes later i noticed the employee packed up an order and put it to the side and walked away at which point i asked if the order was mine. This place really ran out of white bread. All they had was rosemary bread. They told me it would take five minutes which wasn't a big deal because my girlfriend ordered zankou chicken, so I told them to go ahead and make my sandwich when ready and I'd be right back. Fast forward to when I'm back, my sandwich isn't ready because several people that came after are getting theirs ahead of mine. Only one of them was using he rosemary bread. If you're going to make people wait because you ran out of every other bread not named rosemary, the least you can do make sure not to screw up the order of said people. read more

I'm really disappointed bc I ordered a sandwich Mike's way and it was dry.they forgot to put the oil and vinegar. The meat portion was perfect but since it had no moisture it wasn't satisfying :(.
