With the 50's theme and a jukebox that sits on the counter, each song that costs .05...its a cute concept. The menu consists of burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, and milkshake. We order the bacon cheese fries, the houston for me, and the route for the mister. I'm not sure what type of cheese was on the fries, it looked like they melted shredded cheese but then it tasted like the nacho cheese. It was okay. My burger was okay, I couldn't quite taste their "spicy sauce," then again I ordered extra jalapenos. It is a quick meal/snack to get before entering the movie theatre. I asked for ketchup and mustard on the side. The food arrived fairly quick but the overall taste was a disappointment. This place is terrible! I went here in the middle of the day on a Friday when there was absolutely no one there. I placed a to-go order for a burger and fries. I sat down at the bar to wait for my food. After about 5-10 minutes a worker pops up in from of me and says "can you move? These seats are for dine in customers only. You can sit over there." I look at her stunned and just say "what"? She repeats "please move." I look at her and ask to speak to the manager. I told the manager how she spoke to me and asked him why I was being asked to move when there was absolutely no one eating there. He said, "we dont allow to-go orders to sit there." No apology for his staff or the lack of customer service. NO NOTHING! I asked for my money back and promptly left. I will NEVER eat there again and I would encourage you not to either. read more

believe it or not, when i first came to america a year ago, i had my first taste of a true american diner here at this location... not a bad place for some good o american greasy burger and milk shake, its even come with a complete retro style decor and music! just cleaner and more appetizing than your traditional diner down the street. everything here is cook to order so the waiting time might be a bit long, the food is not bad. i always have the turkey patty instead of the beef and its delicious. and i always buy my food here to bring it to the cinema (they allow that) - just keep in mind of the waiting time, it might take up to 15-20mins on busy days. read more

This place is awful. They gave us ordered food but refused to seat us. We came there in the middle of the day (two adults and a kid), sat in the bar (two chairs were present, I was walking around so that was not a problem at that moment) placed an order. After they brought food, I returned (was in the shop close to that place) and asked if we can move to one of the free tables (plenty of them were present). The answer was surprising: "No. You should sit where you placed the order." For our situation that meant that I had to eat standing. Seating is limited and as you can imagine, it doesn't take much for a line to form to make a to go order or to dine in. I ordered a hamburger melt with a fried egg on top, which was pretty good. I LOVE a good old fashioned burger & fry meal, and Johnny Rocket's definitely delivered! I ordered The Route 66, which is a mushroom and Swiss, double patty burger with mayo & sautéed onions. The onions had that subtle sweetness that you can only get from a caramelized onion, the mushrooms were soft, but not soggy & the cheese was oooey gooey. I couldn't decide between fries & onion rings, so I went with both. Yes, they have an option for both, it's called , you guessed it: half and half! The onion rings were not bad, but I love their fries, they're crispy on the outside, starchy in the middle, and most importantly, they were served PIPING hot! My daughter & I split a butterfingers shake for dessert & while it wasn't anything special, it was a great ending to a GREAT meal. read more

Came here on a Monday evening and it wasn't crowded at all. We just came for ice cream and I ordered the Oreo Milkshake. It was so good! The waitress gives you a nickel for the jukebox, which is fun. I've never experience that at another Johnny Rocket's. I'm not sure if the Jukebox actually works I don't think we ever heard our song, but it was still fun. This place is inside the mall, and has limited seating, so we took or to-go order down to the food court seating area. Once we sat down, we realized we missing a chili burger and fries. Ryan Mejig, the manager on duty insulted my sister in law by insisting we bring the order back for them to verify we weren't lying. This manager has no idea how to deal with customers. Had fond memories going as a child, so when my friend moved to the area and asked to go I was excited to check it out again. The 50s vibe is still as much fun as it was and the shake (black forest) was delicious, but the chili cheese fries were cold, the onion rings were from a box and cold too, and the burgers are run of the mill.
