Chicken seemed undercooked with a strange, gooey texture. It looked shiny and almost saliva-like. I was honestly afraid to eat it--and no one should ever feel afraid to eat their food. I definitely won't eat here again. twenty dollars down the drain!

Always great quality but there is ALWAYS a huge line. Be ready to wait at this location!! Tonight they had over 100 orders between 10-10:30pm and they could not keep up. I waited more than 30 minutes for my food. Servers are lovely but spread too thin. Looks like what you expect inside. Not enough seating and small bathroom in the back.

Cute Jolly be in times square. Very packed. Not enough seating but it's Times Square so we can't say anything about it. The food is pretty standard to other Jollibee. Don't really have any complaints. The bathroom was clean and it was well stocked with toilet paper. The line wasn't too long and the wait wasn't too long.

So, is Jollibee the best fast food fried chicken in the world? The original is crispy, juicy, flavorful dark meat...quite good! The spicy is a little off. The gravy is watery without that overly gelatinous consistency and a little less savoriness than usual. That sweet spaghetti is not terrible. The macaroni and cheese is a pass. Mashed potatoes seem reconstituted...not good. The pies are similar to other fast food restaurants...terrible. The Ube flavor is unique. The Cole Slaw tastes fresh. The pineapple drink is refreshing but very sweet. In all, solid original fried chicken but would pass on much of the rest. Packed well. Delivery is fast. If this is what you are looking for, look no further.

OH YEA BABY 10 piece me REAL quick. I wasn't leaving New York without this delight! My mouth is watering again as we speak. This was so delicious. Spicy, JUICY, crunchy, flavorful. Like huh? This location was clean & organized. Last time the one I went to in TimesSquare was basic, but we took it to go. At this one we ate here & it was comfy. Slightly tight space, but it's very manageable. The gravy is the holy grail. Im convinced it came straight from heaven. Okay im done before I write a book about this chicken Thank you!

Having ate at this place while I was in the Philippines I had some expectation's... just not the same... food and drink items missing, food we did get ... ugh... cold ... just not good.

All we got were 2 pies. The service wasn't very fast. There were seats since we went at around 10 pm. It wasn't too loud at that time either.

I love Jollibee because it is always fried fresh and they use only dark meats so their fried chicken is always juicy. I would recommend the spicy one though because the original is not as great in my opinion. The pie is also awesome. I love it!

I've eaten at the Times Square location twice back in 2018 and 2019 and the Roosevelt location once back in 2024. I absolutely love the Times Square location, I got the spicy chicken and it was crispy, juicy, and had just the right amount of spice. I honestly thought that Jollibee was one of the best fried chicken spots I've ever had in my life. If you get the gravy, I highly suggest dipping the chicken in there for extra flavor. Their pineapple quencher was too sweet though and so was the peach mango pie. And then, a few years later, I tried the Jollibee in Roosevelt, Queens and I don't know if it's because my taste buds have changed or if the location was different, but the chicken didn't hit the same as before. I was disappointed because I was looking forward to eating at my favorite fried chicken spot again. I understand that they were busy though but the chicken just wasn't that flavorful. However, I got their ube pie and OH MY GOD THAT WAS AMAZING!!! Honestly, one of the best things I've ever eaten, I thought I was in heaven after my first bite lol. I definitely prefer it over the peach mango pie. Oh and I also got their spaghetti, I actually liked it. I know some people aren't a fan of it since it's sweet or whatever but personally, I didn't think it was that sweet. It paired well with the chicken.

I discovered this Jollibee location after my doctor's appointment. There was only one group dining inside. There was also a lot of homeless loitering in front of the store. I order the half and half combo - one regular chicken joy and the other is spicy with french fries. The fries portion was generous. I ended my meal with the ube pie, which is not sold in the Times Square location. Service was so quick, and this location has the area where you pick your own drink. I was happy that I was able to eat in peace and enjoy the meal. The spicy chicken definitely had a kick. I had my meal early in the morning around 10:30 am to avoid the lunch rush hour crowd.

Jollibee is my favorite fried chicken! The chicken is moist, crispy, and flavorful, and the spicy version is actually somewhat spicy compared to say Popeyes or KFC. It blows other fried chicken out of the water. It's a Filipino chain that's now expanding into more cities in the US. There are two in Manhattan, with another one set to open in Grand Central this summer. The quality of the chicken here can be inconsistent - sometimes it's a bit dry, or the meat bland/under-seasoned, but when it's cooked as it's meant to be and comes out piping hot, it's the best! Some of the sides are distinctly Filipino style, like the Jolly spaghetti (yes the sauce is supposed to be sweet), palabok fiesta, and the aromatic adobo rice, so embrace them as they are. The candy sweet pineapple quencher will tickle the limbic senses of childhood nostalgia. And while I have not tried the pies, I am intrigued by the ube and peach-mango fillings. The wait can be a little long during lunch & dinner hours (which I try to avoid), but nothing like the endurance sport of waiting on line at the Jollibee location inside the American Dream mall in East Rutherford NJ.

I was craving some spicy fried chicken from Jollibees that was next to Port Authority and was so disappointed to find out they did not have any in stock around 5:00 pm on a Saturday. There was also only one person at the register while there was a big line, so it really took us over 20 minutes to get the food that we were ultimately not satisfied with.

    Can i pay with cash?

yes , cash or cards are excepted

    Do you have palabok fiesta?

no, the chicken is the same as the Philippines but the rest of the menu is more plain and watered down for Americans for most likely a stupid reason

    Did they start serving palabok?

    Not yet.

Are we able to go in to order takeout?

Yes. We ordered take out and were very happy when we got our order home. Still delicious.

Do they have burger steak at this location?

No. They don't have burger steak

    Are you guys open today?

They were open when we were there 9/7/20. No burgers were being served.

    Do they do delivery?

    Yes but only on DoorDash.

Do they have Breakfast Joys here?

    No they don't!

Do they serve breakfast? Or is it just lunch/dinner?

Yes, they serve a few breakfast items. I think they stop serving them at 10AM?

Do they have food delivery or use food delivery apps such as uber eats?

Is this location ever going to serve Little Big Bites, Palabok Fiesta or the burgers?

I hope they will, but look like they are still working on expanding their menu.

Do they have palabok? I don't see it on their menu. 😪

Not in Manhattan. Yes, in Queens.

Kumusta, I have a friend who is bringing me fried chicken from jollibee tomorrow. It will be about two days old by the time I receive it. Do any of you know if it will still be good by then? Salamat for your time

Be sure to reheat it in the regular oven and definitely keep the delicious gravy for dipping.

    Is Jollibee open Jan 1st?

I remember them being open on Christmas day so it stands to reason they will be open New Years Day.

Are they selling their funko pop! Toys at this location?

I have gone to the restaurant three times in the last month or so and I have not seen any Funko Pops advertised or at the counter (or behind it). The only toy I recall seeing looked like the bee on a bicycle of some sort (I did not get a close look…

What are the hrs for NYC location Sat and Sun? I don't see it posted on YELP.

I don't know the exact hours but from what I know. I believe it's open to 12 midnight. I passed it in the mornings around 8 and it's open so I"m assuming 7 to 12 midnight

What are the hours of operation?

    7am-12am

Can we place a pick up order?

No pick up or delivery as of yet, but I must say the wait time is not that long, approximately around 20 minutes on peak hours

What is the hours of operation?

    7am - 11pm

I see a crowd waiting outside around 6:30pm (oct 29). How long is the wait around that time?

During peak office lunch hour, the wait was less than 20 minutes long. It was actually pretty quick for how busy it is.

They simply re-steamed them and brought them back except now there was no soup left inside the dumplings at all. The chicken teriyaki was tough and chewy, almost like jerky, as if it had been overcooked on an extremely hot grill or deep fried too long. The spring rolls were mediocre at best, with vegetables inside that had a mushy, paste-like texture. Very disappointing. Honestly, the best part of the meal was the rice. This time at the Times Square location after seeing Oh! Mary. Classic cheese smashburgers paired with Mexican Cokes. It's easily one of the better smashburgers around--juicy patty, delicious sauce, grilled onions, pickles and a soft bun. The burgers are on the smaller side (not White Castle small, but my daughter usually eats two!), but at $6.50 for a single patty cheeseburger, it's a OK value. Don't skip the fries--they are crispy, delicious, and a generous portion for the price. Quick, easy, and fast! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and easygoing. One small snag at this location. My daughter requested, "no pickles." There were pickles in her burger. No biggie. She simply took them out and gave them to me. This location's supervisor overheard us. He apologized. We told him it was ok. No big deal. He didn't accept that. While we appreciated his standards, we felt put on the spot as much as his crew did. We felt bad for the cashier and made sure we told him we were sorry for how things went down. None of it was needed nor justified. Hence, the 4 out of 5 stars! Fast-casual vibe that feels a bit more low-key than standard fast-food joints. At this location there's a few booths, but they are usually occupied. The art is sick and the vibes are high. If you're tired of the same old bird, come get punched in the face with some actual flavor. This isn't just lunch; it's a heavyweight bout.

The setup inside this dimly lit restaurant had a bunch of steam tables offering various beef and chicken dishes, a handful of rice options, and a bunch of salads/fruits. Having no idea what we were looking at, we asked the friendly owner for some advice. After some contemplation, two of us made a plate with all beef over some jollof rice, and another with basically all chicken items over a different type of flavorful rice. We knew it was too much, but our goal was to figure out what we would come back for. Honestly, I did not enjoy most of the chicken because it's sitting in steam trays getting overcooked. Not saying they were terrible, but it all fails in comparison to all the great beef offerings. OMG! You really can't go wrong with any of the beef dishes. My cuisine rating is really based on the various beef items, the yummy veggies, and both amazing rice. The current price is $10.99 per pound regardless what you fill your box with, except a couple of items. We filled our two boxes with about 4lbs of food. Obviously too much, but we got to try many things. No doubt I will be back asap for round two.
