i'm ashamed to admit that i've never been to jollibee before. i'm even more ashamed to say that my first order here only consisted of a single peach mango pie haha. -they don't have any outdoor seating set up. -they accept cash and card. -the service is just like a typical fast food place. you're not here for anything fancy, so it's pretty straightforward. -i waited around 5 minutes for my order. 11/20/20 -peach mango pie: i heard so many good things about this and i was not disappointed! this had a satisfying crunchy crust on the outside, and a very sweet filling inside; the ratio was perfect as well. the peach and mango flavor was really strong, and it was pipping hot as well. it was a bit smaller than the size of my hand, and only around $3! it was so worth the price, especially since i could tell that it was freshly made. (4.5/5) overall, i can't really don't know much about the other food at jollibee. i don't even know why i wrote a review just on their peach mango pie, but it was just that good! i would recommend you must try it if you're looking for something sweet to add to your order. i hope to come back to finally try their fried chicken in the future haha. read more

After years of hearing about Jollibee, I finally got my hands on this AMAZING food! Not only was the food absolutely delightful, but the service made my Jollibee experience a perfect 10 out of 10. Located in Midtown, this fast food restaurant should be easy to find! Being that there are only 2 Jollibee's in NY and the Manhattan location is so new, there was a small wait. The line moved quick, I waited less than 5 minutes for my order to be taken. The service was extremely friendly and really impressed me. The restaurant was also very clean & well taken care of. The Jollibee employees really wanted everyone to have an awesome experience. The food was DELICIOUS! Decided on ordering the fried chicken spicy...loved it!! The chicken was spiced to perfection. The chicken was perfectly fried, the meat was so juicy and the skin was abundant and suuuuper crispy! I ordered a chicken sandwich...quite possibly the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! This place blows away EVERY SINGLE other fast food chicken sandwich! The chicken was super juicy and I was given a hearty portion. The brioche bun was so fresh & the garlic aioli was the star of the show! I also loved the fries, mashed potatoes & rolls. But dessert might have been the best... the Halo Halo was like nothing I've ever tasted before...I loved it! I also tried a Peach Mango Pie...I was unsure about it because I'm not a fan on mango but I do have to say...the pie was out of sight! So good! Oh yeah, Jollibee is finally in Manhattan!! I came here during opening week but it was a soft opening. I first heard of this chain while on vacation in CA many, many years ago. And while there was a location open nearby in Woodside, Queens, it was still not as convenient as the city. Now, knowing it's steps from Port Authority and minutes from Penn, it's got a great address. Since it was the soft opening, they were still working out the kinks but was totally operational. The lines were efficiently marked by ropes that started from the outside in. There was a hostess taking orders via a paper form and all you had to do was hand it over to the cashier. They collected the payment and handed me my receipt along with a buzzer. Within minutes, my 3pc meal arrived and I was sniffing the box like a starving addict. The chicken was fried a delicious golden brown and had a crispy skin to it. It's been so long since I've had this guilty pleasure, almost forgot what it tasted like. Yummy!! Chicken was moist and tender. Worth every calorie. I probably should've bought more items to test out the flavors but I was actually hitting this place up after a previous foodie event so I was a piggy already. Guilty pleasure at any time. It is nice to have a Jollibee in Manhattan a few blocks from my hotel but I was disappointed that they don't have burgers and other Jollibee favorites like burger steak and pancit palabok, I live in Miami and I am far from the Jollibee in Jacksonville and Tampa so ai was excited to try this new Jollibee in Manhattan. I got the chicken with spaghetti and adobo rice. The chicken with spaghetti and adobo rice didn't disappoint and it was good as always. Hopefully they will offer more items in the menu in the future. read more

I'm so happy they opened a Jollibee in Times Square! I got takeout for lunch today and went before noon to avoid any lunch lines. I ordered the 2pc Chickenjoy with 2 sides. It was extremely filling and I'd probably be better off ordering a single side next time. The chicken is juicy, crunchy, and really tasty. I got spicy, but didn't taste any heat from it. The adobo rice is the perfect accompaniment for the chicken - worth the $1.29 extra charge. The pineapple juice is also very tasty. The staff was pleasant and happy, and everything was still shiny and new inside. Hopefully we'll see an extended menu in the future! read more

I'll never not love Jollibee. I tried it when I first heard one came to New York and it lived up to the hype. The spaghetti is sooooo good even though it may not look like the most amazing thing ever. I love that the sauce is a bit sweet and something about it just feels so homey and comforting. I could eat a whole tub of it. Their fried chicken is also really good, very crispy, perfectly breaded with not too much breading. And it's only made better by the gravy it comes with!! So good!!! Also tried the palabok last time and though it was good, I would always suggest opting for the spaghetti instead! Last but not least the peach mango pies!!! Never tried Jolibee before so decided to give it a try since I was in the area. This location is SO FREAKIN SLOW!!! I ordered my food at 4:03pm and didn't get it til almost 4:30!! HALF AN HOUR WAIT FOR FAST FOOD??????? Ridiculous!!!! I then went to find a seat and all of the available tables were gross. They had food particles and soda everywhere. A solid four stars. Went here for lunch with a few coworkers. I had never heard of this place until one of my Asian friends introducers me. She raved about it, so a few of us decided to try the new location because it's not that far from our office. There was a line to get in, which is a good sign (I guess). They were really organized about entry as there is a security guard who grants you entry. I ordered the chicken sandwich combo with a pineapple juice to drink and one of their peach, mango pies. The chicken sandwich was all white great meat, perfectly seasoned and topped with the PERFECT garlic aioli sauce all on a brioche bun. The chicken breast was really well cooked- crispy, but not hard. The fries were subpar and the pineapple juice tasted a little watered down. Almost like they were pre-made. The peach mango pie was better than any McDonalds apple pie I've ever had. I have heard so much about this place from friends, raving about it so I made it my mission to try it! This Filipino fast food chain is known for serving fried chicken and their spaghetti with hotdogs. They offer other sides such as fries, mashed potatoes, white rice & seasoned rice as well. For my first time, I got the chickenjoy combo which offers some of the must-trys such as their fried chicken with their gravy, their spaghetti & their option of either pineapple juice or soda (go for the pineapple juice!). I added a peach mango pie to my order as well since it was raved about as well. Honestly, it was pretty good! For the fried chicken, the skin was well seasoned & crispy and the meat was super juicy! What makes it more amazing, is that they want you to dip your fried chicken into their gravy & it is game changing! Their spaghetti is sweeter than what you think about spaghetti & they have pieces of sliced hotdogs & they add a bit of shredded cheese on top of the spaghetti & you just have to mix it up & enjoy! To be honest, the pineapple juice is like watered down pineapple juice from the can BUT it's still pretty good! The peach mango pie had a very warm & crunchy outside with a gooey inside & it is sweet & sour at the same time & the texture is close to a Mcdonald's apple pie. Like some Chick-fil-A style: you wait in line and they take your order while in line. We ordered the chickenjoy meal and the chickenjoy 2 piece with a side. We got pineapple juice and a peach mango pie per previous yelpers' suggestion. Seating was a bit hard to find even around 11am on a Thursday afternoon. Bathrooms are single stall and pretty clean. Food: chicken came with gravy. The spicy chicken itself had flavor stand-alone. I would rate the chicken quality is between a KFC and Popeyes chicken leg/ thigh. Spaghetti reminded me a lot of school cafeteria with more taste to it. Noodles are a little over cooked but the sauce and cheese layer definitely mask that and has such a unique flavor. The menu here is limited vs the location in Queens with only the Chicken Joy, spaghetti, and chicken sandwiches, along with a Halo Halo soft serve (no actual halo halo dessert) so you won't find the fiesta, sliders, or Aloha burgers. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and there is actually plenty of seating in the back. The line was pretty short and the food is served very quickly (less than 5 min) - they give you a pager a la Shake Shack. Some highlights: 1. Chicken Joy: The gravy definitely makes the difference although the chicken itself was juicy with a nice crispy skin. Better than KFC although Popeyes is still the best in my eyes. 2. Spaghetti: Loved this sweet version with sausage, ham, and cheese. Savory and sweet with a hint of cheese. Highly recommend getting this as the side with your chicken joy. 3. Corn: Tender, sweet, and buttery. 4. Adobo rice: Pretty standard rice with a few pieces of ground beef. Slightly on the dry side but not bad when mixed with the gravy. 5. It was my first time ever trying Jolibees and it was Disappointing...I really wanted to love this place. I love fried chicken , it's definitely in my top 5 food of all time, I get either KFC or PoPeyes at least once a month and eat the chicken clean to the bone. I love Filipino people and I wanted this place to blast out KFC and Popeyes after hearing so many good reviews online and hearing that Jolibees is a huge thing in the Philippines. Well....it's safe to say I'm not coming back here again. First is the price, I was expecting it to be little over 5 dollars for a 2 PC meal with a side like usual fried chicken combos but it costed 7.50. Second is the box and packaging of the meal. The bag is so big , that with the drink that comes with it , let's say it's raining and you need to hold an umbrella or you have your phone or wallet in other hand you are literally overwhelmed. I ended up dropping my bag inside the subway station because I had so much stuff in my arms and the chicken joy box came flying out because a big line ripped in the middle of it when it dropped (the bag is fragile and thin like Chipotle brown bag). The fried chicken gods looked out for me as the box didnt pop open and my chicken didn't fly out on the floor thankfully. I know I shouldn't judge the appearance of fast food but when I opened my box it looked like a middle school kid threw in fries and the chicken , they were all over the place messy not in a good way instead of the cute small white bag the fries are shown in the menu photo. The taste of the fries were worse than standard McDonalds or Burger King fries, dry and hard instead of crispy on outside soft on inside like McDonalds. The chicken tasted like the fried chicken you get at Chinese takeout. I couldn't taste any flavoring or spices at all. The inside of the chicken looked nasty all red and brown, I know I know it's a chicken not a plastic toy and it supposed to be there but... Not that much, yes once you get close to the bone but this was like 50 percent of the chicken. The gravy was the only reason I finished the meal completely as i kept dunking the fries and chicken in gravy. The gravy tasted similar to curry for some reason which wasn't a pro or con for me just interesting... KFC gravy wins by a long shot though... the gravy was okay not good not bad. Not only the look of the chicken but the taste was that smell of redbrown chicken smell , which was a big turn off for me as I do not like that taste , KFC you can taste it a teeny bit and Popeyes not at all but this Jolibees chicken that flavor and smell was strong. The pineapple juice was pretty good 6.5/10 but the peach mango pie lived up to it's hype 10/10, it was crispy yummy crust and inside gooey fruity and smelled good too. Guys, I am SO happy that Jollibee finally opened in Manhattan! We only waited 100 years for this to happen. I love Jollibee so much (but maybe not as much as the first two people from opening day who apparently waited in line for 20 hours. Seriously, 20 hours...) Anyway, I went on a Tuesday night around 7pm and waited in line outside for about 5-10 minutes, not bad at all. The moment I walked in, I was smacked in the face by the incredible smell of Chickenjoy! The friendly staff then promptly took my order which I paid for at the counter. I was given a buzzer to let me know when the food is ready - but even before I got the chance to take a selfie with the Jollibee statue (don't judge, everyone does this!), the buzzer is already going off. They move quick at this joint! At this point, I am just delirious with excitement. The next thing I knew, I was walking out of Jollibee with a family meal that came with a bucket of Chickenjoy, spaghetti, rice and peach mango pies. That's right folks, I somehow ended up ordering an entire family meal. For myself. Zero regrets. The first bite was such a nostalgic experience and reminded me of childhood in the Philippines. Everything tasted great, the recipe was consistent as well. But where is the palabok and burger steak though? Bring these back on the menu! My advice is to stop reading now and just go. Finally got to try Jollibee after hearing about it for so long but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. I tried the fried chicken and it tasted pretty standard. It was crispy, but didn't think it was any special. I also tried the Spaghetti and the noodles were chewy and overall it was saucy, but it was a bit too sweet for me and tasted like a regular fast-food spaghetti. We got mashed potato on the side and it was just the taste I expected. I do like Jollibee way better than KFC, but can't say I loved it either. Towards the beginning of October, I received an interesting series of instant messages from a friend who lives in the Philippines. He was super excited because he read an article about Jollibee opening in the Times Square area and he insisted (backed up by a slew of photos) that I absolutely *had* to try it. He also went on to explain how crowds would stand on line for this food. This was a Big Deal(tm). Unfortunately, just as Jollibee was opening, I was away on business so I could not make it to the opening craziness. I figured I would wait a couple weeks and see if things calmed down a bit. Tonight, I finally went and probably had as good of an introductory experience as one can expect. See, unlike many of my foodie friends, until recently I had never even *heard* of Jollibee (all my Filipino friends can collectively clutch their pearls now). I walked up to the restaurant expecting a line outside and sure there was one, but there was only one guy on it! I snagged a menu inside and got on line. Once I was inside (which took all of two minutes) there were about six people in line ahead of me and wow, the line moved *fast*! While standing on line a host takes your order (checking off boxes on a form) so you are ready to go once you are at the cashier. The cashier does ask you if you want anything else before taking payment and handing you a buzzer. Right near the counter is a group of stools in a waiting area. This gave me a chance to look around. The front of the restaurant has counter seating for smaller groups or individuals. The middle area is narrow and has the soda machine, Styrofoam plates, napkins and straws. Move towards the back and there are a few two person tables and small booths. All the way in the back is the restroom. This is a narrow space but they have maximized it as best they could. That said, finding seating can be a challenge. I managed to get a booth with a person who was only occupying one side and as I ate I saw people constantly coming and going. Every seat that emptied out was filled just as quick. Very impressive! Now let's rewind here. I mentioned there was a person already sitting at the booth. Let's call her Susan (not her real name). Susan told me that she grew up eating Jollibee in the Philippines and had lots of nostalgia for the brand. She has also tried their branch in Japan and China and apparently they keep the flavor and texture consistent from country to country and this branch was no exception! That made me feel better about my dive into this new experience. So my verdict? The chicken was absolutely delicious. It had the perfect amount of breadcrumbs/batter (not too thick, not too thin). The meat was moist (not dry *at all*) and man the *crunch* of the skin was fantastic! Two bites in and I completely understood why people go wild for this. The regular chicken is fantastic and the spicy version adds a wonderful kick (and it has an adorbs "spicy" flat stuck into it). I had this with mashed potatoes and they reminded me of KFC's potatoes but thicker. The gravy was very tasty on both the mash and the chicken. I also got to try their Peach and Mango pie which was a real nostalgic punch for me in the sense that they make the crust the same way McDonalds *used* to make their apple pies - fried instead of baked! I always wondered what the hype for Jolibee was about since we don't have one in Boston. Finally got a chance to try it when I went to NY! The location was pretty busy with pretty much all the seating taken. Ordered the family bucket with 3 peach mango pies and a pineapple quencher. The peach mango pies were pretty good, not a whole lot of mango taste but good nonetheless. The pineapple quencher was really good, although my friends thought it was pretty sweet..so you may want to add some sprite or something to it. Now for the finale, the bucket of chicken! It was perfectly crispy and super juicy! I think I like the taste of Jolibee fried chicken more than KFC and even Popeyes. It was delicious and I will definitely come back for more chicken. Until today I never heard of Jollibee. The burgers are so yummmmm and the ice cream, the pasta most of all the chicken is AAaaaamazing. The Resturant is not so big but they have places to sit. Spacious enough for Manhattan size, very clean and not so noisy. The manager is a nice lady and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. They have restrooms which I feel is helpful. This was my first Time ever at the Jollibee. I have been watching a couple of my friends go to some of the locations on there Instagram stories. So I Pašalić had a chance to stop by Lula Times Square location with my husband for a great lunch. The location was very clean the kitchen and they're waiting and seating area. The line for this was sooooo long!! They had 1 cashier working a Times Square location! That should be illegal. The wait time to order was 15 mins, the wait time for your food was another 15-20 mins. Was it worth it, I'm not sure. Will i do it again, probably not. I was in the area, and having having a horrible brunch experience (good vibes, bad food), i decided to grab some jollibee on the way home. Because I've never had it, i decided to try it out. I ordered a 2 piece chicken joy with adobo rice and a classic chicken sandwich. The chicken was good. I got mixed, spicy and regular, and some gravy for dipping. The gravy was bomb! Really good dipped with the chicken and chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was good too! Nice and juicy, crispy, and the bun was perfect. Dipped with the gravy, perfection! The adobo rice was really good also, haven't had that taste before and it was good. All in all, it came out to about $11 and change. Which isn't bad at all. The wait time was soooo annoying tho. I watched multiple people come and go before my food was ready. That's the reason for the 3 stars. If there's no line, I'll go back. If there's a line, I'll pass. The fried chicken here is a must try! It is crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. If you decide to get a bucket with half and half, they have little red flags to indicate which pieces are spicy. Pre-covid, they had a good amount of seating but this place was always packed. Make sure to secure a seat before ordering otherwise it might be a long wait. The fried chicken deluxe burger is a must try as well. Even with all the toppings, the chicken managed to stay crunchy but depending on your travel time, it may get soggy. The fries are good when they fresh. If you're not a fan of your spaghetti being very sweet, I would pass on that. Take out is good but its never as good as dining in and eating it fresh. read more

It's your standard Jollibee (if you've ever been to one) except there's no pancit and breakfast items at this location. No shaved ice halo-halo either. They do a halo-halo sundae with all the toppings on soft serve ice cream instead. It might change later as this was the first weekend the store was open, but being in midtown Manhattan, I don't think they'll add those items just because they are the more traditional Filipino fare and speed is the key here. There was a line out the door but the staff was fast, friendly, and efficient. My only complaint is that I ordered chicken to go with an extra tub of gravy. Whoever put the lid on the gravy, or the person who put the items in the bag, didn't secure one of the gravy lids thoroughly and when I got home, the bottom of the bag was drenched with half a tub of gravy completely ruining the $3 mango peach pie that was at the bottom of the bag. Please tell the servers, who again are fast, friendly, and efficient, to please slow down a little and make sure the gravy (which comes with every order of chicken) is securely sealed. I was angry at first, but I'm gonna give y'all a pass this time because it's your opening weekend. And you're spreading the fast food of our people across the land. The new restaurant in Times Square still lines out the door, despite being open about a month now. This is because their fried chicken and sweet, meaty spaghetti is a winning combo. Peach mango pie and pineapple juice are really delicious too. This location didn't have the full menu of other Jollibee restaurants. Hopefully, this is temporary since they are new. Either way, I'm really happy that Jollibee is growing in the US, so yay! read more

wow this takes forever, even for to go. Waited 30 min for my order - even though there was plenty of food available. Just slow to pack the orders and hand them out. When they finally called me, no biscuits were available. Tough luck i guess Unfortunately the chicken is basic. And the spicy isn't. You can skip this place. Staff is really friendly though. They are very quick with their orders. Everything is done in a timely matter. Whenever I am here, I am sure to order (at least)a dozen peach-mango pies. I am so in love with it! My first time here, they handed out little menus for us to write on so that once we get to the cashier, we can just hand them the sheet and pay. Although it's a waste of paper, I actually liked it because then they are less likely to get my order wrong. I went to school in Queens and we had a Jollibee very close by. However, I never felt the urge to try it until my sister forced me to. I wasn't too impressed by the one in Queens, because it had weird flavors that I wasn't used to. But I really wanted to give it another try since it opened very close to my apartment. Since their grand opening, there have been lines out the door, so it made it more irresistible. Finally, I got the chance to try it! I ordered the chicken and spaghetti combo, the peach mango pie, and the halo halo dessert. Wow, the chicken is super juicy, it might be better than Popeyes! That's big since I grew up eating Popeyes. The spaghetti is still very interesting to me, a little sweet and a little salty. But I'm a fan now. I wish I can eat it any time I want. Peach mango pie is a MUST HAVE. It's always warm, always crispy and extremely flavorful, not too sweet. As for the halo halo dessert, it's not the traditional halo halo that you get at a traditional Filipino restaurant. It's a soft-serve, with very interesting toppings. I wouldn't get that again, but it was interesting to try. I cannot wait to go back.
