Jollibee in VA Beach is a solid location. The food was good, the service was quick, and it was nice to see many Filipino employees working there. It's located in a nice shopping plaza with plenty of parking and seating available.

    $12 combo

Place is happening very busy, but they are fast! I was excited and ordered the $12 combo (2pc chicken,1,side, drink and a mango or ube pie) which is a great deal. Okay...tried the plain chicken and it was bland not that much taste to it. Maybe that's why everyone got extra complimentary gravy on the side. . The mash potatoes and gravy was good, and the pie was okay. All in all ..Great price!

The chicken was fine but for the price, getting 2 thighs and 1 drumstick would have been more appropriate than the reverse. Mashed potatoes tasted like glue but the gravy makes you forget it. Probably won't return.

    Two piece combo

I've been a fan of Jollibee since I first tried it many years ago. The two piece combo is a good deal-- about $11 for 2 pieces of chicken with gravy, a side, a drink, and a pie. Chicken 7/10 The chicken was juicy as always but some bites were a bit saltier than usual. The gravy was great as always and the special sauce that was with the chicken tenders was amazing. Fries 2/10 I wasn't a huge fan of the fries though, they were a bit soggy and flavorless. Ube Pie 10/10 Absolutely amazing!!! I was full but because it was so delicious, I kept eating. Crispy outside and gooey warm inside. The flavor was perfect and I'd go back just for this.

The chicken was cooked to perfection! Spicy was hot hot!!! Spaghetti was sweet but tasty. Could've used a little bit more sauce. The burger was delicious. Fries were ok. Service was good.

    2pc Chicken with Palabox

That Palabok was a congeeled disaster in a box! This absolutely didn't hit one tastebud the right way. I'm sorry this was so disappointing and I'm sad I wasted 13 dollars on it. The saving grace was the Mango Peach Turnover, that was slap somebody good!!! I won't be returning unless I just get the insatiable taste for that Pie.

Stopped in for lunch since I was in the beach shopping with my family. I heard it was a 30 minute wait for my food as walked in.

It's definitely not worth a 30 minute wait. That's how long I waited for 3 pieces of spicy chicken, gravy and some mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes were basic, or as the young people say, "mid at best." The spicy fried chicken is pretty good, but I would take Popeyes spicy fried chicken over this any day. I didn't get all the spaghetti and all the other Filipino styled side items they have on the menu. If I never come here again, I wouldn't be mad, but if I were with a group who wanted to come go, I'd absolutely eat it again. The 30 minute wait for fried chicken is what made the experience not the best. I actually wanted a couple more pieces of chicken, but I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes to get.

For fast food, this is pretty darned good. Fried chicken I would put on par with or ahead of all the ones that you'd first think of. Great fried hand pies for dessert - never had a mango peach pie but want it again! Very good (for fast food) mashed potatoes and gravy, and the fries I'd put up against anyone's. The only issue is that due to its popularity there are a lot of folks waiting for food. Can't be helped, but with limited seating (for the crowd size) I strongly suggest one person in your party camp out at a table while you order. One star off for not having all drink options available and for the cashier not being sure which ones WERE, exactly. But the food was reasonably priced for the quality and portion sizes.

I found this place on a whim. My son was on a strict diet in preparation for his track meet. The night after he wanted some fried chicken. We are not from this area so I got on Yelp and searched fried chicken. I stumbled upon Jollibee, I then searched it on TikTok. All of the outlandish review videos I found had me sold. We had to check it out. Unfortunately grandma was in town and wanted everyone to go to dinner together. So we had to cancel our fried chicken plans. The following afternoon we were headed to gas up and hit the road home. My son mentioned we didn't get his friend chicken treat so we took a detour and went straight to Jollibees. Upon walking in we knew we picked a good spot. The seating area was full. Although no line when we entered we did see it get very busy while waiting for our order. The food was worth the wait. The lady at the ordering kiosk was very friendly and patient. This being our first time in we didn't know what we wanted. She offered recommendations and suggested we get a family bucket to cut the cost of ordering everyone's chicken separately. We sat inside to eat. This wasn't your typical fast food chicken spot. We really enjoyed it.

Meant to get their beef sandwich Bcs that sauce hits! But the chicken da was juicy and good! A pineapple quencher is a must every time that I come! It reminds me of the dole brand. I got the 6 piece chicken with mashed potatoes. Dipping that chicken in gravy is a must. Definitely better eating it fresh than saving it for later!!!! Staff is nice and meals come out at a decent pace! Nice inside! Got packed fast! The paladin is a must here!!

We are disappointed to find that Jolly spaghetti is no longer the iconic Jollibee dish we once knew. What changes have been made to the sauce and pasta? The taste is no longer the same. The sweetness has disappeared, and the sauce is no longer adequately mixed with the pasta. Furthermore, Traditional Filipino Breakfast is no longer available on the menu. As a result, we regret to say that we will not be returning to your US Stores, Jollibee. The review is primarily for the food. The 3 stars is for the service and ambiance.

Jollibee would be in my top 10 picks for the best fried chicken. It is disappointing to say that I have to travel from North Carolina to Virginia for tasty fried chicken since Virginia it's the closest one to me. I like my chicken not to battered with flour, extra crispy and not too salty. Jolibee has all my preferences when it comes to fried chicken. I've tasted some other chicken brands and there heavily battered in flour making the chicken less crispy. On this trip I tried the limited Aloha Chicken burger. It was so yummy. It had lettuce, pineapple, bacon, aloha dressing (sweet, tangy) in a bun. Of course I wouldn't come all the way just for ONE burger I had to order myself a bucket of Jollibee fried chicken too! =p Not to mention there mango peach pie is my all time favorite pies from food chains. Not pictured here. It was too good I forgot to take a photo (:

I hadn't eaten there in over five years, so I was hoping the food was still as good as I remembered. My visit was on a Friday evening, around 6:00 or 6:30 PM. The dining room was relatively quiet, with only two other customers present, and I was immediately greeted upon walking in. I asked the cashier about the new menu item, the "Lamb Chops." He described them as pan-fried, noting that an order includes two to three nice-sized chops and comes with two sides. I decided to order the lamb chops to go, selecting the arroz chaufa (fried rice) which was a $1 upcharge and plantains as my sides. I was extremely disappointed when I opened my order and found that I had been served lamb shoulder for $18 and not the lamb chops I expected (typically rib or loin chops). To add to my disappointment the quality of the Lamb was very poor; it was tough, contained an excessive amount of connective tissue and fat, and was ultimately inedible. I ended up having to throw the entire portion away. The arroz chaufa also had inconsistent quality. While the flavor was good, the texture varied significantly, with parts being mushy and overcooked, and others remaining hard and undercooked. The Plantains were cut too thick and were also undercooked. Given the cost and the expectation associated with "Lamb Chops," I was extremely unhappy with my meal. I believe the cut of meat served was misrepresented, falsely advertised and the quality was unacceptable. I certainly cannot recommend this item to others and regret not ordering the chicken, which I know your restaurant prepares well.

When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy, yet no one greeted or seated us inspite of the board saying " Please wait to be Seated" . We eventually walked to the counter to place our order. The staff member serving us was cold, unfriendly. Since it was our first visit, we expected at least a warm welcome or some guidance on the menu, but none was offered. We simply ordered what looked appealing. We weren't offered water, after I asked Instead of handing me a glass which she did for everyone, she simply pointed and said, "The water is over there." That interaction made me feel unwelcome. The wait for our food was unreasonably long. I noticed that our meals had already been prepared but were left sitting on the counter instead of being brought to our table. Many other customers appeared frustrated by the delays, especially families with young children who were visibly struggling with the long wait. Throughout most of our visit, we could only see the kitchen staff. There seemed to be no one attending to the dining area or checking on guests. When our food finally arrived, it wasn't even hot. We ordered the half chicken with peri-peri fries and the chicken breast with Brussels sprouts. I could not see any sauce on my food, I ordered Medium sauce, you can see in the picture I posted. My chicken breast was burnt, dry, and had a bitter taste. The sauces were good, especially the Saka sauce, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to make up for the rest of the experience. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of customer service. I later decided to order another item, but there was no one at the counter. After waiting for several minutes without anyone returning, I gave up. To make matters worse, the payment process still prompted for a tip despite the absence of service, which the staff mentioned. Tipping should reflect good hospitality, and unfortunately there was very little service provided during our visit. It was disappointing that my birthday dinner ended this way. I chose this restaurant because of its beautiful atmosphere, but attractive décor alone cannot make up for poor service, long wait times, and food that arrives cold and overcooked. Judging by the reactions of the other diners, we were not the only customers who left disappointed. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

The restaurant was clean, well-lit, and had plenty of available seating. I ordered the quarter chicken with Peruvian fried rice and sweet plantains. Everything was exceptional; the rice and plantains were cooked perfectly, and while I did think the chicken was slightly salty, it was still very tasty. I also enjoyed the green sauce provided, though the food was flavorful enough on its own. My only minor suggestion is for the staff to ask guests whether they prefer white or dark meat when ordering. Aside from that, the meal was excellent. If you are looking for authentic, great-tasting Peruvian chicken, I highly recommend stopping by El Pico de Oro.

The food is delicious -- from the perfectly seasoned rotisserie chicken to the sides: yuca fries, peruvian corn salad, potatoes that taste homemade. The chicken is juicy, tender, and full of flavor, especially the dark meat, though fair warning: it can take a bit longer to come out if you order that. What really stood out was the fact that it was a one-man show -- the same person was the cook, cashier, server, and everything in between. You could tell he was working hard and looked exhausted, but he still managed to get everything done with a calm demeanor and a fairly steady attitude. Patience is key here, as food is made to order and may take time depending on what you choose. But trust me, the taste is worth the wait. Oh and If you're dining in on a hot day, make sure you grab a seat near the fan -- it can get very warm inside. It's a no-frills spot that delivers on flavor and heart.

I ordered gyoza dumplings as an appetizer and shrimp fried rice as my entrée. I like the fact that the food took a little longer than expected because that let me know that it was made fresh! The appetizer and entrée came all at once. I first tried the dumplings, and they were delicious. They were fried and filled with chicken. The fried rice was also tasty. It came with 8 large sized shrimp, peas, carrots, and eggs. Tasted authentic--not like your typical Chinese food from the corner. You can definitely taste the freshness. Seasoning wasn't overwhelming. It was perfect. The establishment was clean including the bathroom. The only thing is that the older lady that served us never smiled. Not once.

The soup wasn't hot but on the cooler side, wish it was warmer but had the same miso flavor you get every where else. The hibachi shrimp was good. The size of the shrimp was a nice size. It was deveined and cooked well. I always brace myself when it comes to hibachi or teriyaki sauces as places because sometimes it's just too salty but for me it wasn't here. It was good balance. The vegetables weren't overcooked. I had a good meal here and I will definitely be back!!
