Came here for lunch to try something new in Cypress because we had to meet someone in the area. They suggested this new place, Juicy Dumpling Factory. We got sat immediately and their ordering system is simple. They give you a check off list to select what you want. We ordered quickly. The server was very prompt in placing it for us. Service was quick. Shortly after submitting our order, the food started coming out. The food was good, but some dishes lacked flavor. The fried rice we ordered was bland. I had to add soy sauce. The spare ribs tasted great but they weren't tender. Had a tough time getting the meat off the bone. The orange chicken was too saucy and the broth on the braised beef noodle wasn't the flavor profile I liked. The food was not terrible by any means. I loved the beef roll, the XLB, the spicy wontons and the Lomein were just right. I would come back to try other items. read more

Being that the place is new, it's clean, spacious, I like the simple, open, ambience of the place. My friend and I came here to try it out as we saw a post about it on Instagram. We decided to order a variety of things to share... The crispy pork dumplings, steamed dumplings, & the mashed garlic potato pork bites/things I forgot the name lol. Everything pictured in their photos looked so good! The crispy dumplings were good... We are expecting something spectacularly different in flavor and composition, but they were regular dumplings with in a crispy edging. While it was very good, it wasn't uniquely tasty. Same with the steamed dumplings, and the mashed garlic potato pork bites Were very difficult to eat as they were chopped with the bone inside them... So it wasn't like you could pop them in your mouth chew and swallow. You had to eat around the bone and spit the bone out which made it really awkward. We couldn't stab them with a fork, or eat them with chopsticks as we had to eat around the bone. Mind you these little bites are maybe the size of the top of your thumb... It's not like they were big and you could hold them with two hands. You could hold them between two fingers and take teeny bites lol. Also as they were so small, because they were "crispy".... That made them tough and chewy... Many of them were borderline hard. Overall, this place was tasty and good however, wish we had ordered maybe the fried rice and or noodles to explore those entrées for flavor as well. We definitely would not recommend the mashed garlic pork bites because of the way they are chopped up there's always a bone inside them and they are tough and chewy. We will probably return, however, there are many other dumpling pieces that are excellent... So we will probably choose those as our first options. read more

I took my family here to celebrate Mother's Day. We got in before it got packed. This was a great choice. Overall, I enjoyed all the dishes I ordered. Their XLB was soupy and sweet. Their pan fried dumplings is absolute gorgeous and delicious. I could do without the diced chicken with chili and pepper. It's not bad but just wasn't what I was expecting. The spicy wonton was flavorful. Their beef roll was amazing. The flavor was perfect and the cucumber was well marinated and crunchy. The prices for these dishes was decent too. I see the reviews but Im not how sure how they got such good raitings I brought my family here because my son want to come here for weeks so we did. I arrived it wasnt very conrgal in greating and when we place our order instead of being pleasent and asked for the menu she said give me the menu no niceties what so ever then our ordered arrived and we only received half of our order, they stated they were sorry and would get the order right out to us that didn't happen either and everyone around us were being waiting hand and foot in the restraunt then 20 min later they realized they forgot us and by then I was angry about being forgotten that we paid our bill and went to another restruaunt and had great service were we went. Had the spicy wontons, pork and cabbage dumplings, beef soup, and cucumber salad. The spicy wontons weren't spicy at all but mixing it with my beef soup broth was very yummy. Next time I won't get the cabbage in my dumplings, they were good but I think it would've been tastier with just meat. The noodles in the beef soup were just perfect. Great dumpling place with lots of other dishes to choose from. The juicy pork dumpling was came with eight pieces and the filling was delicious. The wrapper peel wasn't too thick either so it was just the right balance. Beef noodle has the numbing spice flavor which was ok but for Cypress, it's pretty good. The beef chunks were really soft though so all is forgiven. Pork Spicy Wonton had a bit of sweetness to it too so it was quite pleasing. Plenty of booths for two to parties of four. My friend loved the mango sticky bun. I wish they had more dessert options, especially since they were playing videos of cupcakes being made on the TVs! Service was quick and friendly. We have been back a couple of times now so I can supply you with our favorites list: Beef Roll, Pan Fried Dumplings, Spicy Wontons and Dan Dan Noodles. I didn't care for their orange chicken but it wasn't bad, it was sweeter than I like so totally personal preference. The service is quick, someone was always bringing us something. My only complaint is that the tables for two may fit two people, but they don't fit all the food I'm gonna order. My only two criticisms were the strawberry yogurt drink-- if this was made a bit sweeter/creamier, it'd be perfect. You can taste the fresh strawberry which I love but it was a bit bland/watery overall. Very mid experience overall. The service was disappointing, and the food portions were surprisingly small--it honestly felt like we got crumbs of orange chicken. Green beans was less than half the plate.The beef roll was served cold, and there was no opportunity to mention it because no one ever came back to check on our table. I love it here. This is the perfect spot for a dumpling fix (our local, accessible version of Din Tai Fung). I hate to talk about it too much because as of now the wait times are super manageable and it's not a chore to get to the restaurant at a specific time in order to eat without huge crowds. Not only is it an overall pleasant experience to pull up and get a table, but the food is so so consistently good. Everything we've ever ordered we have loved. Our toddler can eat a whole order of juicy pork soup dumplings all on her own. That plus the shrimp chow mein noodles, spare ribs, string beans are all some of our favorites. read more

They don't even give you rice with your meal. The size of the spare ribs and orange chicken were very small. Not a good value for your money. It would've been much better if the portions were larger but you get little itsy bitsy tinnie bites for each dish. That means that someone earning $20/hour would need to work 2.5 hours just to have dinner here, for take out. It's more if you dine in b/c of the added tip. Sad reality. VERY popular! Parking was perfect, well designed entry to The Courtyard. Juicy was the busiest of the 5 or 6 casual restaurant in the center. Food: dumplings so flavorful and noticed Dan Dan noodles were ordered at almost every table I could see. I came for the green onion pancakes and beef rolls but wouldn't go back for those. I'd bring my granddaughter for their delicious fried rice and those tasty dumplings and to try the Dan Dan. The one caveat I have is about the prime meat. It is thinly sliced and steamed with lots of fat running through it. In a piece from my beef rolls I did pull away the fat on a piece and the meat was tender but not my favorite. This is a good place. I need to work through the menu a little more. The service was good, well run and employees work as a team. I would recommend you try it. read more

I waited 30 minutes in line which isn't too bad. Server attended me right away and had my food out in less than 15 minutes which is pretty good considering how busy it was. The food was delicious! Everything I tried was fresh and tasted really good from the dumplings to the spicy wontons to the orange chicken. Definitely one of my new favorite places to eat. According to our server, this restaurant is affiliated with the Din Tai Fung restaurant group. Located at The Boardwalk in the city of Cypress off of Katella and Valley View, we exited from the 91 freeway to get here. Parking was adequate and free, with some spaces available in the back. We immediately put our name on the waiting list and were seated fast because we came before the lunch rush on a Saturday, 7/5/2025. We ordered 6 dishes for 3 people (2 adults and 1 child) and a small bowl of rice (1 serving, yet enough for 2 people). We started with the cucumbers as an appetizer then had the beef with cumin (shaved beef with cumin spice and a kick of red peppers), a side of dry fried string beans for an added crunch, the signature dish of the juicy pork dumplings (xiao long bao), chicken chow mein, and the last dish to be received was the fried pork & corn wontons. The cumin beef had a nice spice, but I was thrown off with the beef texture because it was similar to that of a philly cheesesteak or the gyudon beef you get at Yoshinoya (half star off for being a cheap meat). The cucumbers and string beans were great complements to the saltiness of the entrees. I did enjoy the juicy pork dumplings and fried wontons, a must try if you come here. The chow mein was pretty standard and our son ate it so it got his approval. Overall, I felt like it was a similar take to Northern Cafe with the menu items, ordering on paper, and even the tables with the condiments were very much a carbon copy of Northern Cafe. With that being said (half star off for not being original), I don't know if this would be my go-to place for dumplings, it did lack originality and more dumpling choices given that the restaurant name appears to insinuate that there's a large variety being that it is a factory. I also want to point out that it didn't feel as authentic as say Northern Cafe because there wasn't a person in the kitchen hand pulling the noodles and when I asked the server who was young and perhaps just started working at this establishment, he had no idea if the noodles were fresh. Would I come back? Not really, it was just ok. I will give it to them though that the place was packed on a Saturday for lunch given that it was the day after the 4th of July. This place was busy! The entire plaza was and all the food there looked good. It's clean and big place for seating compared to others. There's also outdoor patio seating. Our server was super sweet and the staff in general was super nice on checking in and offering whatever we needed. I will say for my hubby and I this didn't seem too traditional. It's more of an accessible way for Americans to try different food. The golden ribeye is more of a watery broth and spicy! I loved the spice. Hubby got the braised beef noodles and the broth was fatty and unctuous. The noodles here are sort of ramen like but not..so no fresh pulled noodles sadly. I do like that our table had our own water pitcher. The star here was definitely the beef rolls, w/ a very nostalgic flavor for me. The dumpling skin was a little thick and not pillowy compared to steamed thin skin dumplings, these seemed more boiled??? The inside filling was really good.
