Street parking only, very chill and casual atmosphere. We came here during COOLinary with the pre fixe menu. The food was top notch and the drinks were even better! I am all about that espresso martini trend and Justine's did not disappoint. They had non-alcoholic creamsicle drinks but thankfully they allowed us to order a couple with alcohol. We tried one with tequila and the other with rum. I can't remember which was better but something tells me it was the rum. Even though it was a limited menu, they definitely had it all together, down to the desserts. Looking forward to trying this place with their normal menu!
We had a great server the hostess had a great interview when we walked in the space is beautiful. I'm so sorry they're closing. Our drinks were yummy. The food took the second to come, but I could tell that it was all prepared and hot. I had fish and grits, we had a oyster appetizer salad was yummy
We were staying outside the Quarter, but close enough that we could walk here. We were greeted right away and they had our reservation ready and knew of some food allergies that wee have and made sure the kitchen was aware of them. We had drinks while perusing the menu and decided on a Gem salad with fried oysters and hen we split the fresh catch of the day. Snapper, fried light with haricot verts and a beurre blanc sauce was just what we were looking for. There are so many venues to choose from here, but we could not have been happier with our selection. Thank you for a great meal on our last night in town.
What a beautiful restaurant, with amazing food to boot! The best shrimp and grits I had in New Orleans, and the most amazing dirty martinis with blue cheese olives. My one complaint is that they seemed under-staffed. Food took a long time to arrive and the staff seemed flustered. I asked for a glass of wine and the waiter said he would send over a sommelier, but 10 min later said the somm was too busy. The glass of white I was given was lukewarm and he said they didn't have a chilled bottle on hand. So that was a not very nice part but otherwise the experience was great.
What an absolute master piece of a bar. Really creative, innovative & expertly executed cocktails. We had already eaten, so we weren't hungry, but all the drinks we had were phenomenal. What we also loved was that our bartender was from Miami like us! The service was top notch and the space itself was beautiful. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this bar if you're going to NOLA.
Food was good. Not sure how to explain it. Everything was good but wouldn't go back. Meaning, happy we ate there but wasn't anything that would bring me back. Had the burger, BLT, eggs and onion soup. Cute place. Good vibes. Good food, but not amazing. A bit in the pricier side for what you get.
We were in town for a HF Sinclair Midstream Managers Summit. Our Operations Coordinator rented out the restaurant for our group. This place did not disappoint. We had a two hour cocktail and small plates. The wrapped shrimp was awesome. Then we had a shortened menu for dinner service which was well rehearsed and quick. Absolutely outstanding service and food.
While strolling down the street in search of some ice cream, I spotted this beautifully decorated spot and couldn't resist stopping in for a drink. While waiting for my order at the milkshake place across the street, I wandered over to Justine's. Despite feeling slightly underdressed for such an elegant setting, I was greeted warmly, like an old friend coming back home. I settled in at the bar and bombed the bartender with hella questions, which he graciously answered. We decided on a gin cocktail, and he even let me sample a gin I'd never tried before--talk about great service! This place has a fantastic vibe, and I'll definitely be back for more!
Went for the Restaurant Week Menu but, we strayed from it a bit! I'll highlight the Restaurant Menu first! － Restaurant Week(RW) Menu: $ Laura Chenel's Cherve (goat cheese) - smooth and tangy, the additions were fun to eat with Shrimp and grits -I'm a sucker for shrimp and grits and I approve! The grits were creamy, smooth, and just amazing! Not only was it a vehicle for the shrimp gravy, but it offset the heaviness of the gravy. It was enjoyable. Banana sticky toffee pudding -brûlée bananas with a single cookie scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with candied pecans sat on top of rum caramel Need I say more? Off RW menu Escargot (snail) -Arrived to the table with the garlic parsley butter sizzling! It was audible that you had to prepare your tongue for a 2nd degree burn lol so be careful with that. We enjoyed this appetizer! It was firm and tasted like a mild salty mushroom if you're wondering about what it tastes like! Hanger steak -This was delicious. We ordered it to be cooked at medium rare and that's what we received! Topped with peppercorn sauce, it gave the dish a more sharp and slightly spicy notes of black pepper. Drinks: Espresso Martini I didn't taste too much espresso in it due to the ratio of gin used. I would give it another chance though. Rosé Bellini This was sweet and refreshing! Overall the service was fast and flowed well. The interior design is gorgeous. Perfect for brunch or date night Use the bathroom because on the way there, you'll see their walls to their back dining room beautifully decorated!
Stopped by Justine's to get a quick bite to eat. We were able to make reservations in advance. Called to move up our reservation, and had no problem doing so! This restaurant is very aesthetic. Nice for a cute night out or date night. Service was great and pretty fast. I do wish the menu was a bit longer. Also, I don't eat meat, and there were limited options for non meat eaters (but for folks who eat meat, there were some good options). We tried the crawfish Mac and cheese, remoulade salad, and pommes frites. Really enjoyed the Mac and cheese, it's extra cheesy.
Beautiful place and great service however food was not what I was expecting. My escargot came out dry has to send them back as they were overcooked and no butter was left. Steak frites was just average.
Great atmosphere, outstanding ambiance and decor, and fabulous service. I had the Lavish Lavender Royale cocktail: sparkling wine, crème de cassis, lavender syrup, lemon. I fully intended to try the Elysian Spritz and the Pink Peppercorn Paloma as well but the Lavender Royale was so good, I stuck with it. I was with fellow foodies, one who works at Justine, and they both said the burger was the best in the French Quarter. The Justine burger comes with a half pound patty, gruyère, arugula, sauce au poivre, and hand cut fries. Although I loved it, I started with the steak tartare and I haven't gotten over it yet. I love steak tartare and I haven't found a finer one in the city: The menu says fresh horseradish, dijon dressing, egg yolk, pain de mie all mixed in with the chopped steak but the toast it's served with is legendary.
The French Quarter has so many hidden gems and Justine is one of them. With vibrant murals on the walls this place exudes character. I came here for a private party. It wasn't a formal sit-down meal, but the passed h'orderves were delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the cocktails were fantastic! Especially, the Espresso Martini. Next time I'm in town I'll come back for dinner so I can enjoy the full experience.

I took my friends out to have brunch at Justine's and we were blown away. From the moment you walk through the door you feel like you're walking into a scene of Emily in Paris. The host is so inviting and welcoming. They were expecting us as if we were regulars to the restaurant. We were shown our table and promptly met by our server who also took the opportunity to welcome us and thanked us for being there. We ordered our drinks and food and everything was so delicious. The banana bread is a must have. It's so delicious. The shrimp and grits was so flavorful and creamy. The beef debris packed so many flavors. I recommend the espresso martini if you need a boost of energy. We absolutely recommend this place 100%! They get full five stars. Services, atmosphere, food, cleanliness were superb!!! read more

Wowwwwww is all I can say! This is a must go to if your in town! The food although the portions may be very small is absolutely amazing filled with flavor and taste. We basically tried a little bit of everything on the money so that way we could all try the different dishes and I general complain of not one thing that they served us. They even went above and beyond and from my birthday played music and brought me a crumbme bay. We tried one of their house red blend wines which was absolutely superb and definitely willing to go back for another round. read more

Came here for a midday Sunday brunch. First and foremost let me shout out our server Eric! He was the best part of the meal. He was so funny and entertaining! Truly a sweetheart. And I saw him handle the difficult patrons on side of us with so much grace. I initially wanted the fried chicken croissant but they were sold out so I settled for the French toast bites. They were actually really good I enjoyed them a lot and although this was a starter item I found that it was very filling. The duck fat fries were good as well but nothing too extraordinary. I would definitely get the French toast bites again but as far as the fries I would probably try something different. The Mimosa service said that it served 2 to 4 and that was definitely not an exaggeration. I was champagne drunk for the rest of the day. The garnishes that were provided were super cute and I felt like that was definitely a fun touch. You also can get refills on the juice as well if you run out. I would definitely be going back. I'd be more interested to try their dinner service. It took me 45 minutes to find a parking space please keep in mind that this restaurant is located centrally in the French quarter and parking on the weekend is definitely a nightmare. There is a pay to park a lot about a five minute walk from the restaurant but definitely take prices into account when planning your visit to Justine. read more
Had drinks and some fries here while in NOLA. The bar was very cute and well decorated. The drink menu was very fun and the cocktails were all interesting. I got the Elysian Spritz which was refreshing and tasty. The pomme frites were also good. This place seemed a little more upscale then a lot of places in the French quarter, but I'm glad I decided to stop in! read more
We were super excited to try Justine! There was a 30-45 min wait at 5pm right after opening and there was NO ONE in there. I was confused, but maybe all the tables were reserved. We got a drink and waited at the bar. After 40 or so mins, no one had called so my husband went to check. The hostess snatched a chair from the middle of the bar, put it behind my husband and said "here. Enjoy your meal" she never said we weren't getting a table, just sat us at the bar. OK. I can work with it. We were starving! I got the french onion soup-cheeeese. Is there a such thing as too much cheese? If so, this was it. So much cheese and hardly any onion but it was flavorful! To eat I had the pan seared fish of the day-I think it was striped bass. It was AMAZING!! My husband had the burger and was very happy! Justine was a very fun, chic, modern and delicious restaurant in the French Quarter. I came here for lunch on a Friday, 10/16 and really enjoyed the experience. Our waiter Eric was very friendly and accommodating and explained the menu and answered all the questions that we had. There was a special going on with Vueve Clicquot (one of my favorite champagnes) for $12 per glass. I had two of those with lunch. We started with the onion soup gratinee and it was truly delicious! we decided to give it a try because of all the lovely reviews about it and it truly lived up to the hype. For the entrees, I had the Justine burger which was so good! The burger was tasty and the fries were so fresh and shared with sauce au poivre for dipping (soooooooo good!). The person that I dined with had the gulf seafood bouillabaisse and they truly enjoyed it. It look tasty although I did not personally taste. I did provide pictures to share. We were way too full for dessert so unfortunately was not able to try any of the dessert items. Overall, I have a great experience here and truly enjoyed myself. The location, decor, staff, food (basically everything) was perfect and anytime I am in town, I will make it a point to come back here. read more

To start, my family ordered the Crisp Brussel Sprouts and French Onion Soup. The FOS is a solid 3.5/5 definitely not the best and extremely small portion compared to other places. Next, the entree. I ordered the Steak n Frites. To start, the steak was way undercooked, I ordered medium and the steak was still raw. The meat was very chewy and the sauce was extremely salty. Justine is a great addition to the 5-star dining scene in NOLA. This is a much larger restaurant than you'll typically find me, but they've done a stellar job of separating the various dining rooms to make it feel more manageable. The decor varies in each of the dining rooms as well. The front area feels like a Parisian sidewalk cafe, perfect for a casual lunch, glass of wine, etc. The main dining room and bar area is more traditional, while the rear dining room has a classier upscale vibe, with some stunning artwork. Don't miss the paintings near the restrooms. They will put a smile on your face. I know, that's a lot to swallow before even considering the menu, which is amazing in its own right. Let me stop here to tell you that whatever you do, do not miss the French onion soup. If there was ever a bowl of soup worthy of a $15 price tag, this is it. Combine it with some of the best bread and butter you'll find anywhere and a glass of wine from one of the best wine lists in the city, and you've got a starter that will leave a lasting impression. Pace yourself, because you'll want to experience more mouth-watering creations. The only thing that matches the food and atmosphere, is the service. Truly NOLA 5-staresque. (Yes, that's a word.) Kudos to the folks who brought us Le Petite Grocery. You've set the bar in the Quarter just as you did Uptown, which is no small feat. read more

A friend recommended this place before our trip, so I made a dinner reservation for the first night of our stay. Cocktails were great. GET THE BREAD CHEESE. I'm still dreaming about that app. For entrees, my party tried the fried chicken croissant, the Justine dip, and the fish and chips. Everything we tried was great! read more
This was my first meal in New Orleans and it set the bar pretty high. I love the vibe here, it is fancy yet casual, classic yet modern. The service was good and they had a beautiful showgirl style dancer. My friends and I started with a round of delicious martinis to cheers to our upcoming week in town. I had the Croque Monsieur with frites. It was wonderful and I probably ate way too much of it. It was huge but since it was soooo good it was hard for me to stop eating it. I also tried a spoonful of my friends onion soup. I am not usually a big fan but thought it was really tasty. All of my friends enjoyed their dinners as well so I would recommend Justine to anyone in search of a good meal. read more

I was in town on business and decided to eat here because it was near my hotel and it looked like a fun place to eat. I sat at the bar and had The Mac and Brie and a side of roasted vegetables. The Mac was delicious: creamy and salty and with just the right amount of crisp on the top. But the roasted vegetables were not that roasted and even worse were swimming in oil, and the serving was way too small for the price. I got some ice cream to top it off and that finished the meal nicely. The space is super fun to spend time in. Was it a $60 meal? No. read more

Since you all deleted my Instagram comment, I'll just live it here for everyone to view: Thank you for "canceling" my reservation on opentable after my party and I already sat, ate, paid, and endured pretty bad service. I guess you wanted to make sure I couldn't leave a bad @opentable review after being shoved in the back corner of the restaurant where no other patrons were, dealing with borderline rude staff, cold food, and seeing a dead mouse behind our table. You took away my ability to give an honest review, in which I would have still noted how we enioved the overall ambiance and the majority of our food, but I guess it's just easier to take away that option from people. read more

I started with a glass of Syrah, which was wonderful and oak-y and full-bodied: They brought me a lovely extremely hard-crusted bread with wonderfully soft butter The crust on the bread is so hard though that biting into it created a massive amount of crumbs on the table. I ordered the Poisson amondine, which the menu describes as "sautéed gulf fish, toasted almond brown butter, and haricots vert." So after I looked up haricots vert I discovered this means green beans. As a woman who has spent my life hating green beans, I'd suggest saying - at least in parenthesis- green beans. Another thing is that it had a slightly piquant taste to the sauce of the fish. I found it pleasant but interesting. The brown butter had an acidic taste, similar to a vinegar, mixed with the lovely sautéed almonds. I liked it, but it's not what I was expecting. I definitely appreciated the flavors and the he various juxtaposition of flavors and textures. I definitely appreciated my meal. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars - some friends and I came here a few weeks ago and everything was amazing. The gin beet cocktail was super refreshing! Mussels were super tasty and had a bit of heat. The assorted vegetables that came with the whipped goat cheese was amazing. Our server was also super friendly. Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience - highly recommend!! read more

First brunch experience at Justine was amazing! Cute little fancy restaurant in the quarter. The servers were nice and friendly, Eric was really great to us kept the champagne coming. I recommend the deviled eggs with salmon caviar for appetizer, the tartare was not upto my taste at all. Don't recommend it. My barbecue shrimp tasted good too! David and I wanted to try a new spot for our third anniversary, so after doing some research, I chose the much raved about Justine. We were greeted by the friendly staff when we walked in and, because we had made reservations, we were seated immediately. We were seated in a booth area right across from the kitchen, which was nice and kind of tucked away. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice with a modern feel mixed with some older, classic touches. The waiter brought us a glass of celebratory champagne as we looked over the menu. I decided to get the trout amandine on a bed of green beans and David got the prime rib au jus which came with a side of fries. I loved my trout! This is one of my favorite dishes and Justine's version was excellent. I loved that it was piled high with almond slivers for an extra crunch and the fish itself was cooked perfectly- buttery and melt-in-your-mouth texture. David loved his prime rib. It was a huge cut of meat and it looked yummy- nice and pink in the middle. For dessert, we got a cake and I'm kicking myself because I can't quite recall the name of it. It was light and not too sweet and the perfect end to the meal. All in all I liked it here. My one complaint was that the music was REALLY loud (it was a Saturday night and I think that there were trying to get the crowd pumped up for their evening), but other than that it was fantastic and I'd return. read more

The food is very average for an expensive restaurant. I made a reservation at Justine and was looking forward to enjoy my food. I will start with the good things: Amazing service Nice ambiance One block from Hotel Monteleone Located in the French quarter which did not require a cab if you are staying there And they have delicious Onion soup Gratinee Then the not so good I ordered duck Confit, the duck could be salty but what I had was a bit extra salty and for the high price, I got only one leg of duck ( very small portion) which's not enough to fill you up. The other dish we ordered was the Moules Frites which was supper salty that we could not eat at all. The server noticed and informed his manager. To their credit, it was taken out of the bill. Make sure to set your reservation for this amazing spot. The attention to details on all design work were on point. The whipped goat cheese... holy moly. So good! This is definitely a great date spot. Take your time and enjoy course after course. Be sure to try the crème brûlée, it's so rich and the perfect ending. read more

Came here as a stop on our girls day out & Sonia our bartender made this such a memorable experience. This place is cute and the perfect spot for an IG moment. Drinks were fab & the bread cheese is a must. I wanted a Bellini & despite it not being on the menu she went and grabbed some peaches and made it fresh & fabulous. If you are debating it DONT. THE $18 HAMBURGER Is pretty pretty outrageous in a restaurant town like New Orleans that thrives on low cost classics such as red beans and rice and jambalaya. Worse it is not a good one, being a handful of beef in a huge wad of bun. Yes the emantaler cheese is a nice touch but it still doesn't merit the price especially given that the fries were cold. Update 5/9/21. Was so amazed by Justine when visiting with two friends, I decided it would be the best place to take Mom for Mother's Day Brunch. Phenomenal service and impeccable food from start to finish. All staff were engaging, attentive and beyond welcoming. Robbie whom I believe is one of the managers or owners came over to our table to chat a bit with us and even gifted mom with dessert. Our server Christian was amazing. Delicious and without question one of the best spots in Nola to enjoy a great service, awesome food and picturesque surroundings! I've got to get back for a dinner service. read more
